i know astrology is fake but i'm not too keen on how a lot of people on this website seem to be clowning on it as a hobby a bit too hard. i swear the woman who thinks it's neat how she and her friends with the same sun sign are all similar isn't trying to say that you are who you are born as and there is nothing you can do to change it. it's a hobby. an interest. what happened to finding meaning and joy in the small things. does it affect you if someone enjoys tarot reading or crystals. does it make you upset someone has interests that they enjoy.

question for kitkat about tachni: is invalid a permanent status? is it revokable in theory, but in practice too difficult?

this answer may change as i work out the precise legal proceedings and history of mental health advocacy in tachni. as of now, though, i think invalid status CAN be changed.... but ONLY by the individual or organization responsible for the invalid's contract/guardianship. you can't really advocate for revocation of your own status as an invalid because you're not considered competent to represent your own interests. so you just have to hope that the person who has guardianship over you WILL allow you full personhood once you're "well" again -- if you Can get well again.

So it occurs to me that I posted most of their lore on my OC blog (though a few posts on here have the story info) and honestly I think it's very important to note that the entire reason a guy from Florida is recruited to help defeat the demon lord isn't him as the hero. His younger brother (by about ten years younger) is the Chosen Hero and... not very good at it. So the goddess (Solei) who had selected the hero has to begrudgingly go back to earth and convince his older brother to help save her world.

(Also Reynold admits to Solei that "Sascha could never be a bad influence. He's the best impulse control I've ever had" and she really doesn't like to hear it. That's terrifying.)
