Spalvingas 19 a.

Lithuania and Latvia have been having sea border disputes for at least 20 years because of oil.
Here's an article about it
In Lithuania there's a forest made entirely of oak trees all being meant for someone or something (like the book smuggler forest for example), 3 of them are for the baltic states. It's located next to Jonas Basanavičius birthplace/museum.
Amber tea is a real thing that exsists
Also there's aperantly milk champagne
(Google maps is outdated as all hell here last time I checked too)
In 2012 there was a certain initiative to lazer engrave people's name's on threads a flag of Lithuania to be presented for the best lithuanian athletes in the Olympics.
Oh and the lithuanian national stadium is being built longer than we've had independence I guess. (Idk it's weird it was started in 1985/1987 then construction was stopped for like a decade in 1993 and they're still trying to somehow revive the project, it's pretty much a meme here)
|| If you're from the Baltics and want to just unleash some good ol' fun facts, please do. I can only learn so much from reading articles
#that's enough for tonight#at least for me#maybe I'll remember more but#if anyone wants to add more fun facts go right ahead#I'ma go to bed

Excellent choice, I must admit.”
