The gag is Zoro and Shanks aren’t that different. Zoro is also completely reckless with his body less so now but I have no doubt that even now if he needed to cut off any part of his body to win, to save his crew he would do it without hesitation just like shanks.

And the thing is Mihawk would still fight him as long as Zoro can pick up a sword Mihawk would still fight him and relish in it.

Zoro loses an eye, Mihawk still trains him.

And Shanks…..Shanks loses his mind a little bit

send help. it's supposed to be 91 degrees tomorrow. on my day off :(

#a sock speaks #work tag #food tag #it was high 80s today but I didn't even notice bc the air conditioner at restaurant job is punishingly high powered #I was wearing my long sleeved undershirt and leggings without any discomfort #but I have to run errands tomorrow and my car has no AC. the house also has no AC but is okayish at staying cool.#I wanted to make pizza today but didn't have time. might be too hot for pizza tomorrow :( but my ingredients are aging in the fridge #I finally got a paycheck but it's for the 2nd period I worked. I'm missing the first one and need to talk with the regional manager #and he's only in on Thursdays #also gotta request a day off to go to Portland with my cousin in 2 weeks #also gotta request off for orchestra which also starts in 2 weeks #also my aunt is trying to recruit me for a caregiving job and I'd have to take 3 weeks off to get trained #it'd be super easy to schedule both jobs once I'm trained but the training is a big time commitment #also restaurant job scheduled me for all graveyard shifts this week. if I can't adjust my sleep schedule I'll have to give a firm no on it #also gotta go to the bank to deposit my check and. uh. all of August's tips (terrifying)#also gotta call a vital records office in Maine about my mom's birth certificate bc we're trying to take her to Canada for her birthday #I don't think we have enough time but my sister wants to do it #also I want to finish knitting this sock that I started in June. I just have the toe left #also I finally confirmed the color and pattern for a baby blanket I'm preparing as a gift so I gotta get yarn #also I need to buy blackout curtains to fit my windows so I can sleep in the day if I work nights #also sometime this week my sister is cleaning the church. I want to go with her so I have an excuse to get ice cream from a shop nearby #also I need to clean my room and I should hang up the art prints & postcards I've been collecting for months #most of them are green to match my decor but some are just characters or scenes I like #oh! I also owe a postcard to a school friend #I had caffeine for the first time in several days and my brain is buzzing. there's so much I want to do and I have time to do it #and I'm excited about it!

fuckass rollercoaster of a day

#arrived at my hotel early to drop off bags but they said the room was ready so checked in!#then the bank im using overseas had a major power outage so after catching one train i couldnt get a connecting bus #until it started working again. so got the bus and got to the museum but it was later in the day so by the time i was done it was like #the second last bus back of the day. and it was 30 min late. which meant i missed the ideal connecting train and had to wait another 40 min #finally got back tho and had a bath and ordered room service for dinner 🙏 even my collection of blisters dont seem too bad in this light.#dreading being in london tmrw for an hour train changeover tho... it's meant to be 32 degrees lmfao. and also london. wish me luck 🫡#liz.txt

#2023 is the year that I get my finances and my financial trauma sorted out #because it’s either this or it kills me and I’m all done leaving myself open to being killed #have to do a lot of hard work realizing how bad the money stuff was re: hours per week of being trapped in the kitchen with 1-2 people #damning me if I did and damning me if I didn’t #and one of them constantly watching my bank account because they had access till I was 25 #and all the fear they put in me and how they trained me to sabotage myself for them #NO MORE #it is not as scary to just face the hellish nightmare zone of loans and debts and not enough money for butter or dog food or whatever #than it is to not face it and live in guiltridden fear all the time #at least with the first option I have itemized spreadsheets I can take to debtors and a bankruptcy attorney if needed #I’d love to find a second job again but it’s been pretty hard #but regardless #no more avoidance NO MORE AVOIDANCE avoidance and shame don’t get me anywhere #the only thing that will is holding hands with the shame and the terror #and if all goes well #maybe I’ll be able to finally get my root canal and other cavities done 2 years late #and also rebuild some savings #mostly just I gotta do this or I’m going to give myself high blood pressure and an ulcer by the end of the year I cannot handle a mother #year of looming financial threat #it’s getting sorted out this year or not at all #and I’m all out of accepting ‘not at all’s #shh katie

im so sick of not having a phone

#i have to walk in the middle of a large field for ten minutes in the dark alone #my debit card's not working and i can't call the bank without my mother's phone #i have to constantly ask my friends and the people around me to check train times #i am not a child anymore but somehow my safety can easily be compromised just bc the people i live with decide they hate me #my friends from singapore probably think i hate them because i haven't talked to them in months #i can't have a phone number so that the fucking government can call me #i just want to get away from here

Honey & I from the other day. She's been super good lately! Just both of us getting fit again. I'm sure we'll be ready to go out into the world by the time I have to be really gone for work bc thats how it works lol. Wanted to horse show twice before my crazy work season starts but thats looking less than likely at this rate.

#here comes honey #ottb #love when your winter work doesnt work out the way you planned so u have no money to do anything except take care of your high maintenance #horse who literally falls apart w/o all this very specific diet #and i wish lessons/training wasnt so expensive #also wish I had someone who could school her at shows until she gets her head back in the game #im just cant handle my anxiety which was pretty clear the first show we did #so wish i had a pro who wouldnt break the bank so we could keep her going #but part of me might just let that dream die for now #horse showing & having similar goals I used to have #maybe just riding at home is what i need to focus on for a long while
