Do people really prefer a cashless society? In this era where people constantly use cards and are not aware of issues such as the Playstation Network going down and the Barclays bank app issue in Feb 2025, it's glaringly obvious we can't be a cashless society when corporations can go down and we can lose everything digitally.

Please have cash with you in case of emergency if you are locked out of your bank accounts or can't access media you bought digitally. It's very obvious what's going to happen with these greedy companies in the near future.

Pharmacy is making me download an app to fill my prescriptions and I am once again getting irrationally angry at App Creep. Stop encroaching on the necessities of daily life. anybody else have an online order tell you there was an error, but then the payment and order went through a second later and reads as confirmed in your account (with wherever you're ordering from) but the items still appear in your cart and it asks the next day if you want to complete your order? like, my Route app says I have an order on the way but the place I put the order in had both 1) the order in my account and 2) the items I already ordered still in my cart. am I actually going to get my order or will I need to contact support 😭

#I'm so stressed out about this #the place gave me a birthday discount so I decided to use it but then it said error when I tried to place the order #but then it turned up as ''on the way!'' in both my account with the online shop. my Route app. AND my bank account #but the items were still in my cart as if I HADN'T ordered them???#so like... if I don't get it I guess I'll contact the business's support then???? but I'm just gonna leave it for now ig 🤷🏻‍♀️#Lu rambles
