AU where Nancy and Vickie are ballerinas in the late 19th century and Steve takes Jonathan and Robin to a showing of Giselle where in the end Steve cries, Robin has a full on gay panic, and Jonathan is completely mesmerized by the music combined with Nancy’s performance.

I got re-fitted for pointe shoes since my feet swelled up and my first pair - the one I got at the summer intensive - is now suddenly way too small. I went to a local dance store and this was basically how it went down:

Fitter: Yeah, those are definitely too small. Who fitted you before?

Me: So it was at this summer program out in California, they had some people from The Pointe Shop come out and do fittings -

Omg.

I am having an actual freakout because I just got the news that I AM READY FOR POINTE. I FINALLY GET POINTE SHOES OMGGGGGGGGGGGG.

My dream ever since starting ballet 5 years ago was pointe shoes and after tearing tendons, covid cutting down on dancing, and then having to take two months off for surgery, I never thought I would get them. But today I went to a class that had pointe for the last 30 minutes and I asked the teacher if she thought I was close to being ready and she said I already am and can buy shoes!! I'm legit crying over this because I've worked so hard and wanted them for so long.

This has been the best World Ballet Day ever!!!!!!!!!!
