Yo consider this

It's a long rest in the Elfsong Tavern but Tav is a bard and sneaks tf out to perform for the people down there. Imagine any of the companion's faces when they hear familiar voice one floor below and come to see Tav in their element 🔥 Everyone would be like "wtf you're supposed to be resting we've got shit to do tomorrow" (especially Lae'zel and Minthara; rest would show some empathy, Astarion would be just snarky I guess). But picture Tav who longed to perform and does puppy eyes to the companion who finds them 🥹

Ooor they could go on the roof, unable to sleep/meditate and just pull out their instrument in attempt to calm themselves down, basically playing themselves a lullaby. THIS HAS A ROMANCE SCENE POTENTIAL YOU KNOW??? (Or a chance for Alfira to return the favour from the grove)

Tbh if Tadfools and some NPCs wanted to visit Tav on Earth they'd have remembered there's no other races than humans so they *have to* blend in. Use some spells or magic infused objects (some modified ring of polymorph?; given that magic will still work on Earth, for the sake of this experiment let's say it does). So Tav wouldn't immediately catch she's looking at Karlach, Rolan or Lae'zel until they speak (though Tav would think she's going delusional or insane). Then Tav would almost jump out of their skin knowing it's all REAL.

Shadowheart could just hide her ears or something and she'd pass and Gale is literally a human, but characters like Wyll would have to hide their true appearance. Bet my ass Astarion would be not so thrilled about not having his pointy ears even if he couldn't see them. Halsin would try so hard to adapt but the city wouldn't be the easiest environment for him to survive in (still better than goblin camp tho? Come on Hal)

TAKING ALFIRA AND KARLACH TO A METAL CONCERT WOULD BE A FUCKING BLAST (no pun intended).
