Chapter IV: Realizations
Until Jinora, Tsubaki felt a part of her was missing. She was unsure what, but there was always an emptiness right in the center of her chest. The earthbender had accepted the hollow feeling as a part of who she was; maybe she wasn’t meant to hold anything.
Jinora taught her that this was her heart chakra; where love was supposed to grow. The girls found it kind of funny, in a sad way, that Tsubaki guided the growth of so much, but not herself.
One afternoon, in the spring of their eighteenth year, Jinora placed her hand in the center of Tsubaki’s chest. She was confused, but accepted the light touch as something deeply personal.
Jinora sent a small blast of air into the location; Tsubaki didn’t understand exactly, but a lightness overtook her, and flowed like a river through her body. She grasped Jinora’s hand tightly as tears welled up in her eyes.
“What is this feeling?” Tsubaki felt lost in Jinora’s gaze.
“Unconditional love,” Jinora squeezed her hand back. “Your heart chakra was completely blocked.”
The airbender sat silently as Tsubaki continued to weep.
“Have you not felt this before?” The realization hit Jinora hard. Tsubaki shook her head side to side, and fell into Jinora’s embrace.
“Your parents,” the airbender frowned, holding her friend tightly. Before she could even complete the thought, Tsubaki was shaking her head once more.
Without thinking, Jinora kissed Tsubaki’s teary cheek.
Tsubaki pulled back, her eyes wide.
“Oh no,” Jinora was as red as a tomato. “Spirits, I’m so sorry.”
“Don’t be.” Tsubaki grabbed her face, and kissed her hard. “Thank you, Jinora, for loving me. You’re the first person that has.”
“On our last day of school, leave with me. Let’s go to the Southern Air Temple.” Jinora clasped Tsubaki’s hands, a world of bright energy pouring out of her.
“What?” Tsubaki’s jaw dropped to the ground. “I’ve never even left Ba Sing Se, and graduation is only a week away.”
“Exactly. Why stay here?” Jinora rested her hand on Tsubaki’s cheek. “We could have so many adventures. You could help crops all over the world, I could finally train to become a master and get my arrows. Yangchen knows my father will never take me.”
Tsubaki remained silent, locking her eyes with the ground. She felt Jinora’s energy shrink, until it was hardly a spark. A sadness started to creep over the afternoon.
Jinora’s demeanor shifted, as she realized maybe their paths weren’t meant to align forever. Only for now.
“Hey.” Jinora wrapped her arms around Tsubaki. “Just think about it. Okay?”
Tsubaki nodded, fear slowly tearing apart the seams of her body.

♫ Never Loose Me ♫

You and Daisuke are having one of y'all nightly midnight driving sessions in his black Rolls-Royce Wraith, midnight driving around the fluorescent city of Tokyo.
The drive seemed boring this time cause the car was filled with silence. To brighten the atmosphere, you decided to get the aux cord to put on 'Never Lose Me' by Flo Milli, but it was a slowed version.
Daisuke had an Auralism kink, which was something only you were aware of, except at the moment you just wanted to have fun. You were in a very good mood, singing along to the song as you did a little dance, making the man across from you roll his eyes with a soft smile.
In the middle of vibing to the music, Daisuke reached over to place his hand on your plush thigh, gently caressing the soft flesh. Knowing what he wanted since it was from the music, you didn't go against it. Not to mention, there was a little surprise if he went further up.
The same hand that's placed on your thigh rubbed its way up from your thigh-high socks to under your skirt where he touched the crease between your pussy and thigh.
He was taken aback, accompanied by the smirk that came across his face yet continued to make his way to your clit. Circling it with one hand on the wheel, he focused on the half-empty roads.
He didn't need to look at how you were reacting to his touch because the small noises you made spoke for itself. Your soft moans were like music, making his dick want to feel the way your walls fluttered around him like he's never had it before.
As your low sounds flowed into his ears like water, he could picture lewd images of himself with you in the backseat.
He imagined you writhing under him when he's balls deep in your pussy filling you up with his cock in a face-down ass-up position. Making you take all nine inches of him even if you're begging him to stop.
All these erotic thoughts made his erection feel tight in his pants with a question lingering in his mind. What was stopping him from making his vision a reality?

A beat passed in the conversation and your tongue darted out to lick coffee from the corner of your mouth. You watched his eyes track the action as he took a slow, deep breath.
"Careful," you cooed, swiveling the chair around to redirect your attention back to your computer, "wouldn't want You-Know-Who to get mad, again.” You took another drink from the plastic cup and smiled subtly to yourself, peeking at him over your shoulder.
"I don't particularly understand it, it's not like she has anything to worry about. Right, D?"

Chapter I: Tsubaki
Tsubaki kneeled quietly in the gardens of her family’s home, removing dirt from vegetables, flowers, and rotted roots with her bending. This is where the young girl found peace and quiet: a luxury her parents never afforded her.
According to them, only peasants would enjoy spending time amongst dirt and surrendering to it. Only fools would use their bending to provide aid to something as useless as a flower. Her parents were heirs to their respective family’s fortune, and the two of them didn’t get their hands dirty in that sense. Frivolous spending and an unexpected child had landed them in a bit of a financial rut, so they did what they had to do to get by: betting on and participating in underground fighting.
Their daughter was constantly reminded that all of this was, in fact, her fault, for being born. If she hadn’t done that, they wouldn’t be in this mess. Tsubaki found that the garden did not blame her for existing, or make her feel entirely useless. The life that exhumed itself from the Earth accepted and embraced her, and she felt that she owed it the same. The seeds did not choose to be planted, yet they gave bountiful fruit to all of Earth’s beings. Even if they had to survive desperate circumstances, they gave until they dried out.
As Tsubaki studied the colors of a flower that looked a bit droopy, the vibration of footsteps approaching threw her stomach into knots.
“For the love of Yangchen, Tsubaki. Stop wasting time and come do some real earthbending with us,” her mother demanded.
“But I like the flowers and the soil,” the girl pleaded.
“Could your bending be any more useless?” Her father griped, disappointed in his child.
“It’s not useless,” Tsubaki protested calmly. With her parents, she found the path of least resistance to be easiest. “Just watch this.”
With careful focus, the wide eyed girl placed both of her hands at the base of the aforementioned flower. As she lifted them, her fingers wiggled, and the orange blossom rose from the ground. Its dirt covered roots swayed back and forth, and levitated above her open palms.
Small vortices of soil formed above her fingertips, and carried the dirt up the roots. The entire flower started to sway like a weasel snake. It was so delicate, and required intense focus.
“I can make the flowers dance,” Tsubaki giggled, her mossy eyes sparkling.
“You’re the daughter of prolific fighters, and this is how you choose to spend your time?” Her mom dragged her gruff palm down her face with frustration. “How are we supposed to cash in on her? She’s almost old enough to fight.”
“I don’t know.” Her father rolled his eyes, then kneeled to the child’s level. “You are useless, Tsubaki. Do you hear me?”
The seven year old dropped the plant, completely crushed. The sting of tears clouded her eyes, so she ran back to the comfort of her room before her parents could see. As she entered, she slid to the corner, and sat below the windowsill. Sunlight kissed her cheeks and she wept.
While this particular corner had seen many tears, it was also where she found out she could bend the particles of dust that pooled there. When this dust would cling to the plants, she could bend them, too.
Why was that so wrong to her parents? Would she ever have to stop trying to prove her worth to them? Tsubaki was only a kid, yet already exhausted by relentless ridicule. It was the same way at school when she’d ask petulant questions.
Stay in line and don’t change, she’d tell herself. This is the way of the Earth Kingdom.
Admittedly, she felt just as embarrassed by her parents as they felt of her. They monetized their bending abilities with senseless violence, and felt no spiritual connection to it. They basked in their victories, let the world feel their losses, and couldn’t understand why Tsubaki wouldn’t want that, too.
All she truly wanted were the elements to twirl at her command. She longed to feel elegant and soft, like a waterbender or airbender. Throwing rocks at people and knocking them unconscious, or simply using bending to display brute strength, didn’t resonate with her. She wanted her bending to reflect the connection she had to her element.
At that moment, Tsubaki had a revelation: she would detest traditional earthbending. She would still practice, just in an unorthodox manner. The rough stuff was her parent’s, and everyone else in this forsaken kingdom’s specialty. At school she could blend in, and after school, she could actually study.
Stay in line and don’t change. This is the way of the Earth Kingdom.
But it won’t be the way of Tsubaki.

something something just as some mechs are born with the ability to fly, after many years, Some grounders started being born with a ringed-like tail strong enough to support their weight while hanging from Cyber-trees (name pending) to match fliers
and while the skies remain free for all seekers, grounders get a little bit closer each time. something something blah blah. opossums and binturongs. also a small minority can play dead and order their nanites to stop pigmenting their metal for Better effectiveness. blh blah blahb

so, its pretty rough and by far not complete but this is a rough layout for the map of destiny (my zelda fancomic), i mainly took it after skyward sword but added parts of botw into it (like lanayru street, the twin mountains that were one mountain until ch3, the gerudo highlands, akkala ref; among more general map overlap)
Tumblr media
this ones with some super rough chapter markers and some descriptions, the circle doesnt mean the chapter doesnt go to multiple places but the main happening of it is there, its again, pretty rough and lacks the correct order yet too, ill prob add that with time as i write out the scripts for the next chapters, so far i got the order until chapter 6 (chapter 4 is mostly at hylias temple and since there are alot of chapters happening there its not marked seperately)
chapter 1: demon (complete)
chapter 2: a dance of ice and fire (script done)
chapter 3: moving mountains (name not final)
chapter 4: starry night
chapter 5: a wound for a wound (placeholder name)
chapter 6: curiosity (possibly placeholder name, forgot to mark it on the map even tho i know where it goes)
most other chapters i know where and whats happening but i cant remember the exact order, i gotta make a structured chapter chart soon so i dont have to think over everything every single time i need the order
this is probably not very interesting but, even tho it is just a rough layout more for myself than anything else, i thought id share anyway, i know my handwriting when i write fast and tired is hard to read but uh .. feel free to send me an ask about it if theres anything youd like to know (do mention if you are ok with spoilers for the story)
