My work is a title character MaXXXine who is played by actress Mia Goth. Set in 1980s Hollywood, adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break. However, as a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Los Angeles, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past. This is a recent movie that came out on July 5th, 2024.

The first work I created is the lead character named MaXXXine played by Mia Goth. This image shows her in the spotlight as she becomes a movie star. I used an app called Glitchshop and used this image to glitch by using Badtv to make it more like in the 1980s when the year of the movie MaXXXine takes place.

The second work I created is the character Maxine pointing a gun face forward at someone. I used Glitchshop to glitch this image by choosing glitch 1 to make the image stylish and fun-looking as I find this is the only glitch that is perfect for the image.

The third work I created is the character Maxine in the crowd with other actresses. I used Glitchshop to glitch this image by choosing glitch 30 to make the image interesting with the top of the image like a mirror like which I find very cool, especially for an image like this.

If I had more time, I would use other glitches to try them out with my images to see how they would come out and just to play around with them more, maybe I use videos next to glitch them.
