Lloyd Garmadon Headcanons lmao, because I’m literally going insane

Lloyd uses He/Him pronouns but doesn’t mind other pronouns

Lloyd doesn’t forgive Misako, at all, he’s resentful towards her and screams the lyrics to ‘I hate my mom’ all the time and especially in her vicinity

I personally think that he would have a Japanese name that would only be used by Garmadon if it was a serious situation. And that name would be Katsuro, which means the victory of the son. Very fitting if you ask me

Thanks to his oni and dragon blood I think he would age a little slower than normal humans would like maybe 3 years slower than his peers.

Over the years he’s gained lots of scars on his body but his most noticeable ones are probably the large one of his face that goes from the top right of his forehead to his left cheek(from an the volcano incident, as in as Kai was on his way towards Lloyd a rock fell and slashed his face), many on his hands from many different things(burns from forgetting to put in oven mitts, scars from scabs being picked at over and over again with his constant scratches, accidentally cutting his palm open trying to help Zane cook, etc.) and some on his forearms from more scratching

His eye color is red but when he’s using his energy powers they glow green and when he’s using his oni powers(or is just really pissed) his eyes glow purple

He has a long tail, horns, elf like ears, along with vampire like fangs

He uses make up, sometimes it’s just a little bit and other times he does a bit more🤷‍♀️ he’s very simple with his make up

He’s just been growing his hair out for a years, and it’s pretty long so Nya likes to help him put it in ponytails and braids

He has anxiety shivers

I, personally, think that he’s pretty fucking tall because of his dna and he stands at 6’3(192 cm) and is taller than all the other ninja except for Zane

He has a playlist to correlate to his moods, his sad playlist is the longest one out of them all..one song that shows up is ‘worthless by eli’

Like his father he is bisexual

I like to headcanon that during the time that Lloyd got hit by the tomorrows tea he was like 12/13 years old physically

He has a special desk with a big mirror in the room he and the ninja share because he obviously needs space to do his makeup

The other ninja(Cole and Zane)drag him to therapy with them every other Saturday

He’s a little gremlin who likes doing what he’s told not to, so now he plays BL games out of spite and plays the dialogue extra loud around the other ninjas, turns it up more during the sex scenes

He has a monthly thing where he just forces the others to watch titanic with him because the plot is everything(he definitely doesn’t just watch it because Jack and Rose are beautiful people that enchant him)

He plays Minecraft and Genshin Impact, and has an unhealthy obsession with Itto, Zhongli and Raiden Ei.

He’s legitimately the most flexible out of all the ninja and he always wins Twister to the dismay of Kai and Jay

He really likes to paint, so whenever he has free time he paints while the others watch him in awe

He has a beautiful singing voice, but he hates karaoke and won’t do it, which annoys the others to bits because everyone deserves to hear his angelic voice

He gets really nervous when he’s pressed/pinned to/against walls so he tries to ‘ease the tension’ by saying stupid shit like “A-Are we about to kiss?” Or “ You know now that we’re really close right now..you’re kinda pretty/hot.”

He curses like a sailor

He craves physical touch, but he’s also like repulsed by it so now he just sulks around, the only people who don’t repulse him are his father, Uncle and the other ninja

All the ninja are like his protective older siblings, Kai being the most protective out of them all

Snakes don’t scare him, he just despises them

He absolutely despises Harumi, like if he could kill her, he would. And he also had a picture of her in his room, which he throws darts and knives at when he’s angry

Also because of Harumi he’s prejudice against all princesses

He’s a shipper, and he ships the other ninja together hardcore. His OTPs are Nya x Jay, Kai x Cole, and Zane x Pixal

He has feminine hips

He’s worn things like corsets before because he thought they were pretty cool

Because of his dragon side he has a heat cycle and gets it once every 6 months, it always leads to him being out of commission

After he had to banish his father he kept a lot of his father’s things inside his and the ninja’s shared room

He cried when he first saw that Harumi’s ritual failed and instead brought his real father back, and not like Harumi said

After his father came back from the departed realm, Lloyd slept in his rooms for weeks because he was scared that he would disappear when he woke up, and just wanted to make sure he wasn’t dreaming

Garmadon Head Canon

So I was just thinking about Garmadon and Lloyd’s relationship when it hit me.

What if Lloyd’s birth was troubled cause of the Devour’s Venom. So when Lloyd was born he had to be taken from them and was under surveillance cause of medical issues. Which in theory made Garmadon incredibly overprotective. While the venom caused Misako to lose her maternal instinct towards Lloyd. (cause Misako could have done better than just leave him at a school)

Ninjago: Monster au Chapter 1

Lloyd Stared out the window, watching as the Buildings became closer together. The sun was setting as They drove by, Coming closer and closer to their new home. “You Okay?” Morro Questioned. Lloyd turned to face him. It had been two years since Lloyd’s dad went missing and a few months since His mother had abandoned him. “Yeah.” He Solemnly murmured, His hands Scrunching up. Morro Ruffled his hair. “It’ll get better. Promise.” Wu Checked the mirror and smiled. “we’re almost here.” And not before long, the arrived at an unopened tea shop with a House on top of it.

Wu Parked the Car and Got out. Lloyd followed, Sighing. Morro Looked Saddened by the despair in his cousin’s eyes as he too got out of the car. Wu opened the Boot and let Morro and Lloyd get their things before locking the car and Walking around the side of the Building. They Walked Up the steps to the Apartment and Wu opened the door. He Pointed Down a Hall, “Your Bedroom is on the left, you’ll be sharing, Sorry about that. “He said Kindly.

Morro Huffed and Begrudging walked to the room, Lloyd Following behind. He opened the Door revealing two beds with Side-tables next to them and Desks at the end of each bed. “Which side do you want?” Morro Asked, Looking back at Lloyd. “Uh, Left is fine.” He said, Moving towards the Left of the room. “Alright.”

Morro walked to his side of the room, unpacking his bags. Lloyd Stared at a photo, it was pretty old, of when he was much younger. His Mother had taken the photo of him first trying Cotton Candy. That definitely began his unwavering sweet tooth. He Smiled and Put the photo on his bedside table. He Continued unpacking his stuff, which was Mostly Clothes, Sentimental items and the odd soft toy.

“Dinner!” Wu Called from the Kitchen and The Boys Raced there, Hungry from unpacking and the long drive there. Dinner was Quickly Eaten up, Both of them Obviously hungry. Lloyd excused himself from the table and headed back to his room. He sat on his bed and Took out his phone. Not before Long, it seemed Like Night was Already here. Morro Walked into room, Already in his Pjs. “Bathroom is on the right.” He said, Settling in his bed. Lloyd Grabbed his Pyjamas and Headed To the Bathroom. He Quickly changed and headed back to the room. He Went to bed, and quickly fell asleep. Morro fell asleep soon after.

Lloyd Garmadon x gn!reader

Being in a relationship with THE green ninja definitely causes most everything you do to be in the public eye. With almost every public outing of yours, there are bound to be fans, which Lloyd is not happy about, at all.

Lloyd often doesn't feel like he is enough, for you, for Ninjago, and for the ninja. So when he sees you with another person who might be slightly better than Lloyd at anything, he gets very insecure.

He becomes touchy, which is a complete 180 of how he normally is in public. Lloyd loves to love on you, yes, but the poor boy is so easily embarrassed when anything outside of the occasional hand holding happens.

If someone were to have the balls to actually walk up to you and flirt like Lloyd wasn't there, he would be visibly fuming. If he is feeling especially insecure, he might snap at you. :( Some thing along the lines of, "Lloyd, dear, what's wrong?" "Why don't you ask your new boyfriend?" He instantly feels bad and apologizes though.

While Lloyd was growing up, he didn't exactly have the best role-models on relationships, his mother left, and his father wanted to conquer Ninjago. You are definitely his first love. <3 (Harumi doesn't exist because I said so.)

Lloyd needs reassurance that he is enough. For you, for his friends, and for Ninjago. If Lloyd has a problem, he will bottle it up, so his outburst had been the first you had heard of any insecurities. Of course, you had noticed his tendency to not speak out on things that were bothering him, but you didn't want to pry.

The jealousy really stems from an overwhelming amount of love of you, and everything you are. He truly treasures you, so that's why he's so fearful someone might come take you from him. He might be the person that holds Ninjago together, but you are the person that holds him together. <3

Poor boy is young, and inexperienced. He has big feelings and doesn't know what to do with them, but he knows he loves you, and that's enough for him.

If you were being flirted with, and it went into uncomfortable-creepy territory, Lloyd will immediately be at your side. As if he wasn't already. Politely asking them to back off even though he is very obviously upset. If they were to refuse, Lloyd would warn them one last time, then ask if they would like to go outside.

Lloyd WILL fight for you, no questions asked. You could make a joke about your boyfriend beating someone up, and he would be like, "Who, and where? No one messes with my baby." >:(

It was finally Friday night, your date night. It had been Fridays for as long as you could remember. Nothing fancy really, just a walk around the strip of New Ninjago city, but you were excited nonetheless. Anytime spent with Lloyd was always a good time. You smiled to yourself, thinking of how he was swarmed with fans last Friday and profusely apologized the entire night.

As you walked onto the deck of the bounty, you saw Lloyd, red in the face, talking with Misako. She must be teasing him, you thought. He spun around when he noticed you and ran up to you excitedly, like a puppy seeing his favorite toy.

After a quick ride on his elemental dragon, you finally got the the strip. Shops littered the bright street, as people went about their business. "See anything you like?" Lloyd asked looking around, your eyes had already zeroed in on a small café, "Can we go there?" you asked, pointing to the cute little café. "Of course." Lloyd smiled at you.

Once you had gotten a table on the patio, the sun had started to set, it was gorgeous. Pink, red and orange hues swirled around the sky. It looked like it had come from a painting, you thought. "You know, my mom told me that when the sky is pink like this, it means someone's in love. Do you think it's true?" Lloyd asked, turning to you with a noticeable blush on his pale cheeks. "Oh really," you teased, "I wonder who it is."

You were about to continue, when a young man, about your age walked into your table. "Oh, I'm so sorry." he said. "You're good," Lloyd responded, clearly wishing he would leave. "It's a beautiful night," he said ignoring Lloyd. "It would make sense that on such a beautiful night I would meet someone as beautiful as you, let's get out of here." he said confidently. One glance at Lloyd and you could tell he was livid, you tried to remain calm for the both of your sake. "I'm sorry, sir. My boyfriend and I were actually on a date, so if you could be so kind, please leave us be." The man finally left, and Lloyd's mood immediately lightened.

"I think I know why the sky is so pink, Lloyd." you said catching his green eyes with yours. "It's because I love you. Forever and always." Lloyd's face exploded in crimson blush at your words. Exactly your plan. "I- I love you too." he said with a small smile, not daring to look you in the eye. Surprisingly, the rest of the date went very well, what you had said must've left Lloyd in a good mood, because he was smiling the rest of the night.

most of the elemental alliance and the ninjas parents went to the same school since there weren't that many schools in ninjago back then.

except for cliff gordon,Lou, and coles grandfather (the master of earth that was shown in the season 4 flashback) he was way older than the rest of the alliance,by the time Misako(5) started school he was already in his mid twenties and his daughter(lilly) was 2. while Lou and cliff both went to the marty openheimers school for performing arts.

Garmadon and Wu only started school in like 7 grade because fsm realised how detached they were from the rest of ninjago.

Dr Julien and Misako were really close when they were younger because their families lived together, they both had financial issues so they worked together and supported each other.

They had a small phase were they genuinely thought that they were siblings and sobbed(alot💔) when their parents told them the sad truth (they still see each other as siblings no matter what anybody says)

Misako is Wasian, her mother was white and her Father was Japanese. but she never met her mom since she died during childbirth, so Misako was only raised by her dad.

Juliens parents were teenagers when they had him, so he mostly spent his time with Misako and babysitters since both their parents were gone most of the time (Misakos dad was working and Juliens parents were in school/working)

Julien and Misako are both autistic, Misakos special interest is archeology while Juliens was robots/androids. but they only got properly diagnosed wayy later since they couldn't afford it but also because it was that time were it was very difficult to be diagnosed if you weren't a cis white man.

Ray is filipino and was born in ignacia and was taught how to do blacksmithing from a young age, but he later moved to ninjago city to live with his aunt and her husband so he could go to school since the one in ignacia was closing down due to lack of money.

Maya is Chinese and was born n raised in ninjago city, her parents were emotionally manipulative and abusive so she ran away when she finished school (16), she stayed on the streets for a while until Wu and Garmadon found her and let her stay at the monastery. when they found out she was the em of water, the whole elemental alliance thing was set into motion.

Lou, cliff and the rest of the Royal blacksmiths are the same age as Maya, Ray and Libber

Maya and Ray were high school(not actually High Schoolers but yk in love whatever) sweethearts, Maya caught feelings first and Ray asked her to be his valentine in 8th.

Lilly is Indian/Persian (dad Indian mom Persian) she was also goth but had to stop later due to her illness. (Goth Lilly supremacy guys)

Lou is African, his parents died in a house fire and he lived in an orphanage for a couple years until he was adopted by two actors who then enrolled him into the marty openheimers school

Lou and Lilly met at a music festival, it was one of those festivals where it's just every type of music, Lilly was there for goth music and Lou was there for whatever he listened to idk

Lou noticed Lilly while she and her friends we're doing their goth dance moves and he just thought it was the coolest thing ever (and that one of them was really really pretty aka Lilly but he didn't know that yet)

during the break(are there breaks at music festivals???idk I've never been to one) Lou got enough courage to go and approach her (also with some hyping up from the other royal blacksmiths)

Also when it comes to school and grades I just used my own school system as a reference so like a quick guide uh you start school at 6 in like 0th grade(that's just the name idk if its called something else other places and no it's not kindergarten) then you just go up normally 1st 2nd 3rd etc and you're 15 when you finish public school aka after 9nth grade (or I mean the age depends on when your birthday is idfk🤷‍♀️)

Also I might make more of these cuz I wanna go more on Libbys, Cliffs, Ices etc lives but it might take a while😔

More Firstbourne au thoughts cause that’s what I’m calling it

Kai went fucking crazy when he heard what Misako did to Lloyd, like full on was ready to demolish her. He was the one taking care of Garmadons side of the family when Lloyd was born so when he had the chance he immediately told Nya.

They both agreed that her actions were wrong. Not just wrong they were awful and fucking disgusting. So while a part of them still wanted to protect her (she was part of the family and both wu and Garmadon loved her and they knew that if Garmadon had a hold of his senses, he would never forgive them if they hurt Misako) they coundnt just forgive for what she done to Lloyd. Kai didn’t really care, he wasn’t gonna protect someone who would willingly leave their kid, for research purposes of all things. Nya also agreed, but if Garmadon was ever to come back she didn’t want him to hate them (Garmadon is her favorite, no you cannot change my mind).

So they made the compromise of just cutting her out, they wouldn’t actively protect her, but they wouldn’t actively try to murder her. Later on, when the gang find Lloyds mom in the museum, and she starts staying with them in the bounty, They go off.

They just wait still she is alone in her room and just explode on her. How could she leave Lloyd? For research? Could she have not just taken Lloyd with her? And if leaving Lloyd was absolutely necessary (which they were adamant that it wasn’t) why did she pick darkleys of all schools? If she really already knew he was the green ninja, why put him in a school of bad kids? Was she just lying? Or was she just so idiotic to believe he would be able to fit in with the kids at darkleys? Misako didn’t have answers, she thought it was the best thing she could have done at time and she greatly regrets it, but understands if they never forgive her.

Nya says it’s not them who have to forgive her, but Lloyd. They don’t tell her this but once she gets Lloyds forgiveness and actively tries to be better, then they’ll bring her under their protection again.

Also I think this would be the first time Misako sees them in their human form and not as a shapeshift person, mostly because they were asked by Wu and Garmadon to not oversee there life’s 24/7 after they became adults. But they are dragons, so they would still visit and have an eye on them quite regularly by shapeshifting into different people.

I hate Misako. That bitch just leaves her kid in some boarding school with tons of stupid ass bad kiddies. Just to go and find some prophecy. Dude, either send your kid to his uncle OR JUST WAIT UNTIL HE IS OLDER? You are his mom?!? And if his dad is gone you don't need to disappear too?? THAT DUDE HAD MOMMY AND DADDY ISSUES BCS OF YOU TWO?

This is a rough time line (backstory-pilots) for my Darklys Kai au. Here is the link to the first post I did talking about it. Thank you to @randomness227 and @master-of-fluff for giving me some ideas.

Ray and maya get kidnapped——>Kai and nya get sent to an orphanage—-> nya gets adopted by her new moms, Kai gets left behind——-> orphanage gets sick of Kai being a bad kid and ship him off to darklys——>Kai builds a reputation for being a jerk at darklys—->lloyd is abandoned at darklys by misako—-> Kai takes Lloyd under his wing—-> few years later kai leaves darklys and starts wandering ninjago doing small crimes—-> wu goes to find kai like in the pilots but finds nya instead because she was visiting the forge with her moms——> wu cryptically asks where Kai is and about how he needs to find him(without using Kai’s name) then leaves——>Nya is confused but ignores him and goes back to doing what ever she was doing——> the skeletons arrive and start looking for the map—->Nya tells her moms to stay inside and takes an old sword and attempts to fight the skeletons but wu intervenes when she starts loosing——> the skeletons book it and attempt to take Nya but her moms push her out of the way and get captured instead——->wu offers to train her—->pilots proceed as normal but Nya takes Kai’s place—->meanwhile kai hears roomers about how a group of ninjas fought against lord garmadon and hears about a girl with short black hair that’s name is Nya——>he starts looking for her

That’s what I have so far might add more later but I really need to rewatch season one before I do that so I can be consistent with cannon stuff.

So this post by @oneleggedgiraffe made me think about Lloyd and Pixal because let’s face it they’re definitely like siblings atp. Soo I humbly present:

✨ Lloyd and Pixal Sibling Headcanons  ✨

(Thanks for the inspo op!)

- I like to think they got closer between Seasons 7-8. We know Pix returned to the computer system sometime after Wu disappeared, but by that point the team had pretty much split. Lloyd was by himself, but Pixal kept him company on those long, lonely nights he spent searching for Wu alone. They really got to know one another during this time and have been pretty close since then. Pix felt really bad about keeping her Samurai X secret from him what with all the time they spent together

- Speaking of S8, Pixal was absolutely FLABBERGASTED when she first heard Lloyd’s new voice. Her initial reaction was to ask if he’d been possessed again

- Pix is definitely a second sister figure to Lloyd. She’s very protective of him and won’t hesitate to check anyone that messes with him. Lloyd gets to brag that one of his big sisters is a badass Samurai nindroid lady that could beat you up with her bare hands and he’s very proud of it

- Their favorite thing to do together is sit back and watch the others wreak havoc

- They both have a tendency to stay up at ungodly hours of the morning (Pix just doesn’t sleep much/is constantly working and Lloyd has trouble sleeping). Lots of their encounters are in the kitchen at 2AM. Pix usually offers to make him coffee and he always says yes. She makes good coffee

- Lloyd occasionally does some studying to help make up for all the education he missed. I like to think Misako is the main one to help him with this, but Pix is also a big help, especially when his mom’s not around. Lloyd tends to get confused and frustrated with himself pretty easily, but she’s always supportive and patient with him.

- Lloyd helps her out in the Hangar Bay and brings her snacks when she’s been down there for a long time

- Sometimes Lloyd misses being carried around in the Samurai X mech like Nya used to do to him as a kid. Pixal takes him for flights occasionally :)

- Lloyd has started to confide in her a lot more since Nya’s oceanification. Both have lost a sister figure and are hurting quite a bit. They spend more time going for flights or working in the Hangar Bay to keep their minds off it.

“Should you really be doing that over the kitchen sink?”

Morro lazes one eye open. Lloyd stands opposite him, eyebrows pulled into a little frown and arms crossed over his chest. He’s looking at Morro, but not exactly; his eyes focus on Morro’s ear and the scrap of gauze he holds over it.

“Where else would I be doing it?” Morro returns. The stove clock tells him it’s been long enough, so he removes the gauze. Lloyd crowds in his space.

“It looks red. Are you using a real cleaning solution? Because I think I read somewhere that saltwater can be bad for piercings.”

“It’s red because I just did it last night.” Morro tosses the gauze in the trash. He rolls his eyes at Lloyd’s huff behind him. “Relax, kid. I’ve done this hundreds of times before. You’re such a rule stickler, jeez.”

“I’m a year younger than you,” Lloyd retorts like he always does. “And I don’t think making sure you’re treating it the right way is me being a rule stickler.”

“Sorry, you’re right. Clearly, the stick’s somewhere else.”

With his back turned to him, Morro can’t see Lloyd’s face, but he can feel his baby cousin’s frustrated fuming. Morro smirks. He drops into one of the kitchen chairs and kicks his feet up onto the opposite one. “What’s with all the interrogation anyway? Usually it takes you until midmorning before you develop the holier-than-thou complex.”

Lloyd is silent behind him. It’s a weighty silence, much too weighty for a dumb jab. Morro frowns to himself. Then, a lightbulb goes off in his head. He swivels around quickly. “Wait a minute. It’s because you want one.”

Lloyd’s ears flush bright red. “No! No, I don’t. What are you talking about? Of course I don’t want one.”

Morro cackles. Lloyd’s neck and face heat too. “Stop laughing.”

Morro laughs a little bit more just to piss him off. “You know what? Sure. I’ll pierce you, kid. It’s about time you did something adventurous.”

"I do adventurous stuff!"

Morro levels a look at him. "Really. Name one rebellious thing you've done. In the past year."

Lloyd's mouth opens. A couple of seconds later, he closes it with an angry little click.

"That's what I thought," Morro says smugly. "Come on. Live a little."

Lloyd’s face wars with itself. “What if it gets infected?” he finally asks, but his half-hearted argument isn’t fooling anyone.

Morro rolls his eyes. “Your mom’s a nurse, dipshit. You’ll be fine.” He kicks back from the table and grabs his backpack, which he left by the door when he came in the previous night. Aunt Misako’s nice enough -or dumb enough- to let him crash at her home when he isn’t able to return to his own place. He’d ask her about why she did it if he wasn’t too afraid concerned about her stopping.

Lloyd peers over his shoulder as he sets out his supplies. “You just happened to have needles with you?”

Morro rolls his eyes again. “What part of “I did this last night” didn’t register with you? The party last night was a blow, but I got to pierce some people and make a quick buck, so at least it wasn’t a total waste of my time.” He takes two needles and hunts down some studs to go with them. “Speaking of which- normally I’d charge you for this. Blame it on my good samaritan heart though, because I’d rather just see you corrupted.”

“I think you’re literally the only person who’s ever thought that,” Lloyd mumbles.

“That’s because I’m the only one who knows the real you, cuz, in all your goody-two-shoes, loser glory.”

Lloyd mumbles something about “the real him” under his breath; Morro isn’t paying close attention anymore. He sterilizes the area and arranges his materials, wiping down Lloyd’s ear lobe too. Once he’s all ready, he poises the needle over his ear. “Want me to count down for you? Hold your hand too?”

“Just do it already, jerk.”

“Oh, is that how it is?” Without warning, Morro pops the needle through the skin. But Lloyd barely flinches. When Morro glances at his face, Lloyd’s staring straight ahead, the only indicator of his pain being the way he bites the corner of his lip.

He took that… actually well. Morro pauses, ignoring Lloyd’s whining about the needle dangling in his ear. It’s not like most people who get piercings break down into blubbering messes at the pain, but he was definitely expecting a bigger reaction. Lloyd, his wimpy, nervous wreck of a cousin, just took the needle like a vet.

Morro is a tiny bit impressed despite himself. He finishes the piercing and repeats the process on the other side. Swiping open the camera app, he holds up his phone. “Done. Wanna see?”

Lloyd stares at his face. He tilts his head this way and that. “It looks…”

“Good? Of course it does.”

But Lloyd doesn’t snap back. He just nods, eyes wide, and passes the phone back. “Yeah, it does. Thank you.”

His sincerity makes Morro’s skin crawl. Awkwardly, he slaps Lloyd’s shoulder. “Don’t mention it.”

“Okay.” Suddenly, Lloyd’s eyes light up. "Oh! Something rebellious! I remember! I told my mom I got organic fruit at the store, but it really wasn't!"

“Oh my god.”

In that au where Ed and Edna are vampires and Jay is clueless to being one

Jay not realizing the constant pitcher of fruit punch in the fridge that his parents made him drink was blood

Ed and Edna being happy about the whole having a grandkid thing because they’re empty nesters. Their daughter being libber the master of lightning aka Jay’s mom

Libber wanted Jay to have a normal life away from Cliff’s celebrity status and be protected from her enemies

Ed and Edna planned to raise Jay as human until his 18th birthday when his powers and heritage would be awakened.

But also Ed and Edna having a murder junkyard

There’s a reason so many cars would break down near the junkyard and his parents would host those people for the night.

And the people would be gone before breakfast. Their car being seemingly disassembled because the parts were bad and they helped take them to town.

(Read: Murder Basement) no kids or expecting parents are eaten.

Immediate instinct when Lloyd shows up with his fangpyres at their junkyard is to parent him

Because look at the baby. He needs blood and he looks sickly. Must feed and protect young.

Blood because everybody in the fandom has seemingly agreed that Oni drink blood

Garmadon fears only one thing and that’s the walkers when they’re not fed or happy.

He’s lucky he had an excuse for why Lloyd wasn’t healthy due to his banishment.

Misako gets off due to the fact she was on her way to pick up Lloyd and was trying to track him down after Darkley’s threw him out.

Since y’all seemed interested in the Garmadon-Smith family au, here’s some more concrete things I’ve come up with for background/early season stuff

-Ray/Maya/Garmadon Polycule

-Kai is Maya and Garmadon’s kid, Nya is Maya and Ray’s, and Lloyd is still Garmadon and Misako’s (just because that works easier for me and timelines and stuff )

-I’m still debating what’s gonna happen with elemental powers, so gonna skip that for now.

-Garmadon’s evilness kind of takes over when Kai is 3-4 and Nya is a baby. He decides to leave, partially in search of power for evil reasons, and partially because he knows he can’t stop himself and does not want to risk harming his own family. Ray and Maya struggle with this. They knew it was a possibility but they hoped it would not come to that

-Ray and Maya are kidnapped when Kai is 7 and Nya is 3. Around the same time is when Lloyd is born and Garmadon is banished.

-Wu knows Garmadon left a child behind but he does not know it’s Kai specifically. Once it comes to light, Wu tries to be a good uncle and answer his and Nya’s questions but unfortunately there are a lot of things he simply doesn’t know.

-Garmadon does NOT know that Ray/Maya were kidnapped. He also doesn’t know Misako left Lloyd at boarding school. As far as he is aware, Lloyd is safe with his mom and Kai and Nya are safe with their parents. He still cares about his kids a lot even though he is evil, and is absolutely devastated to learn the truth.

-Kai struggles to accept his connection to Garmadon, so at first he just decided to pretend it doesn’t exist. That includes refusing to associate with Lloyd or acknowledge their relationship at first. But then he realizes that Lloyd is just a scared kid, who like him, was left behind by his parents and that his actions are hurting Lloyd. After that realization, all his bitterness towards Lloyd vanishes and he vows to do better. He steps into that big brother role and they become really close.

-Kai does his best to shield Lloyd from the bad stuff that’s going on in relation to their dad and Lloyd having to fight him eventually. Kai takes his place when he can.

-Nya feels really left out of the loop when everything comes to light. She does not know how she is supposed to fit into this dynamic and is frustrated by the fact the others seem to forget she’s also part of this family, even if Garmadon is not her blood father. Kai tries to reassure her as best he can, but she still struggles. It’s a big moment for her when Garmadon is cured of his evil and makes it clear she is just as much his child as Kai and Lloyd are.

-BIG THING Garmadon doesn’t die. He does get sent to the cursed realm in s4 but they rescue him in s5. I’m sorry. I could not kill him. This is already ridiculously sad in a lot of ways. I needed a happy thing to balance that out.
