The darker version of the hairpins happened when I tried to merge an overlay layer with a normal one. I still haven't figured out exactly when that happens instead of a normal merge.

I'm thinking the opalescent version fits our princess better.

Okay, so I know Asagiri compared Dazai to a donut, but he also said it’s because you don’t know what’s in the middle.

So while he could have meant a donut like this:

He could’ve also meant a donut like this or this:

With donuts that have filling, it can be hard to tell what’s inside it until you take a bite.

Sure, you might be able to tell if it’s probably a crème filled one or jelly filled one, especially if there’s traces where they filled it up, but that doesn’t give you the full details.

With a creme-filled donut, is it more like a whipped creme? Boston creme? Bavarian creme? Chocolate or other flavored creme? It can be hard to tell which one it is just from its appearance.

And while you might be able to sniff out what type of jelly it is, it might be hard to tell. Or two jellies could be similar in color to make it difficult to tell.

Anyway, I’m just saying that let’s not limit our Dazai donuts to the standard ring shape you might get for a glazed or frosted donut.

(This doesn’t even get into how some people make homemade donuts just as balls. So there’s a variety of ways to make, structure, and have donuts.)

head cannon that chūya just had this sixth sense of knowing when dazai is in danger/attempting- like chūya will just be doing paper work then he’ll race across the city, drag dazai out of the river, drop him at the agency’s door with food and blankets (dazai gets cold easily) and just go back, he cares yes but mori will have his head on a stick if he takes a week off for caring for dazai- when chūya gets home dazai is already at their apartment covered in blankets
