Completely hypothetical scenario, of course, but let's say someone wanted to break through Adrian's barriers and get themselves his love, then break his heart, traumatize him some more, and kill him last after murdering the other harbingers, whispering to his ear, "It's all your fault."

How the Hell Did You Think That Would Work Out?

The MC can be a pretty shitty, manipulative person using everyone around them while running around getting people killed (Serial Killer MC is certainly onboard there!) up to a reasonable point, after which they're getting put down like a rabid dog trying to murder the plot.

Also, quick reminder that freaking Not Your Mother's Shire got rejected from Hosted Games for being "too offensive". And it went nowhere near as dark as that. I wouldn't hold my breath about any full-blown psychotically evil MCs getting published through Choice of Games.

I haven't put any thought into it bc usually OCs are something that I make up in my head and then never ever talk about to anyone, so the idea is very Vague and Vibey, but the thing is that Dean wouldn't feel able to fully open up to someone about some of the shit he went through unless they had similar experiences. We see this in s2 when he opens up to Gorden, every single season post s3 when he opens up to Cas, when he opens up to Tara in s10 about shitty childhoods, and even when he opens up to people like Crowley. There has to be shared or similar history there, so hunter angle works well bc that would have the most overlapping experiences, especially if the other hunter was raised in the life like he was.

The priest thing is bc I'm horny. Priest kink all the way, also I was compelled and enamored by Dean opening up to the Priest in s11. Also this puts together my therapy set up, which is Dean and this hunter on the same case, arguing about theology which turns into Dean opening up about some of his traumatic experiences with angels/heaven, and my delightful ocs going Time To Use My Shitty Divinity Degree For Good

bruh the kids in one piece go through so much.

like i’m at law’s backstory. señor pink and lao g are explaining to baby 5 how flevance got destroyed and there’s bits of laws life before joining the donquixote family.

he watches his younger sister get sick and so does everyone around him; as far as he knows, there’s no cure. his town is being quarantined due to amber lead disease being labeled “contagious” (it’s not) and if someone from flevance tries to escape, they get shot like they’re rabid animals. he has to keep a brave face for his younger sister, and his parents (who he thinks are one of, if not the best doctors in town) are in distress. the people of flevance (rightfully) get upset due to them being mistreated by the government that’s supposed to protect them AND by their neighboring countries so they fight back, but are only met with the navy basically maiming them down for standing up for themselves. and law has to see the people he knows and loves die. he’s begging for his parents to wake up when they’ve been shot. the hospital he told his sister to wait in is on fire, so unless she made it out she’s gone as well.

and then, when asked about how he managed to escape flevance, law says he HID AMONGST A PILE OF DEAD BODIES????????

like no kid should have to witness that.

and then when cora takes him to the hospital, he has to relive the trauma he faced.

and these are supposed to be DOCTORS??? like educated and all?? they’re calling a little kid a monster, diseased, just calling law anything BUT a child of God 😭😭 even cora was like “tf? how are you this uneducated as a doctor”

and i mean its at the fault of the world government bc they KNEW that a) exposure to amber lead could be extremely harmful, but they turned a blind eye and then b) killed the people of flevance when this whole mess could’ve stopped a century ago and finally c) they didn’t disprove the notion that amber lead poisoning was contagious. they just let everyone believe it when they could’ve just said “no it’s not, we need to help these people”

i just feel so bad for law. like oh my gosh, no wonder he was so mad at the world. no wonder he wanted to destroy everything he saw because the world did the same thing to him, so what’s the harm in returning the favor?

i need to give law a hug, in fact let’s give almost every one piece character a hug !

idk how controversial this is but I’m actually such a big fan of s3a. it’s the exact kind of phantasmagorical bullshit that makes me kick my feet and grin like a fool. the whole show goes haywire and completely abandons the generic structure of the police procedural, and it totally gets away with it because at this point the narrative has unravelled so much that the show can safely let go of whatever conformity it was barely hanging onto in s2b. and on a metafictional level the shift in external genre strangely parallels the progression of the two main characters: just as will and hannibal have changed each other, the show too has revealed its true nature

Artist I follow pointed out that if they remake FE7 with a MU and S Supports that that would mean you could marry Renault and I think that it would very funny if they don't change how supports worked aside from adding an extra one to some pairings because that would mean that not only does Renault marriage get locked to new game plus (Hector mode) with a bunch of extra hoops to jump through (32x baybeee) because that's the only way to have him for four maps total but you would also always be doing it on the very final map. After grinding support points in front of the final final boss for however many turns. Since this is such a laborious process and the player will never be doing this anywhere short of completely deliberately, you could generally assume that because of that anyone who actually does it is a diehard Renault fan so they could even write the confession with that in mind, having it come from your MU and not Renault and like idk. idc about a remake or this actually happening in canon or whatever but it's the idea of the conversation progressing and you confess and Renault turns to the camera and it fades to the special "you're getting married" cg they drew for him but instead of the beautiful sky behind the character you love framing their blushing face as they turn to the camera to confess their love to you you instead get a deeply incredulous Renault standing in front of a raging dragon emerging from the dragon's gate being fought by other members of your party saying something like "are you being serious? you're confessing to me right now? in front of a dragon?"
