great jobs guys (fehy & lappy). honestly? this was the funniest outcome possible. took out 3 teams just to immediately trip and fall. anyway gmbm if u dont buy a dog over the offseason i WILL be manifesting in ur office <3 peace and love to the lb but this took years off my life.

but! if i want to be positive!: this was carberys first year as an nhl head coach, let alone the coach of the fucking caps. at the beginning of the season we literally changed the entire coaching staff, all new system that we suddenly had to get used to. not to mention that the roster at the beginning of the season is way different than what we have now- we lost a foundational franchise player that genuinely emotionally wrecked the team (and they even said so in interviews!!). at the deadline we sold our highest scoring (at the time) player!! at one point or another 97% of this team was on the IR. our backup goalie outperformed our big contract "starting" goalie. we lost how many dmen at the end to shit ass calls??? this was never going to be The Year.

but hey- just look at Hershey!!!! our up and coming players are defending their championship title and doing so extremely well!!! even without their captain, without lapierre or mcmichael or iorio or miro. this franchise has a bright future, we just have to get there.
