2 days no workout this is so sad!! It’s good in that I’m sad bc I look forward to it but ragh!!! I wanna lift my weights :(

#very very excited about surgery like i know in a year it wont even be an issue and ill be extra happy i did it#I've kinda gotten past the anesthesia fear and i lived thru the MRI needle in my awrm so#the IV wont be too horrendous.#so right now my biggest worry is the After....#ive seen ppl say they were mostly resting in bed for like 2 or 3 days#and after that they just had to take it easy to get around but idk. im so nervous about That Part.#+ i cant. fall asleep on my back. lol. im terrified#i rly hope im so exhausted on that first day that i jst knock out upon getting home ykwim#being too aware of pain in the body makes me feel cornered in it sometimes ykwim. like i want to jump out of it ! nervous#i rly hope it doesnt hurt too bad!!!!!!! i know ppl say it feels like sore abs after workout but idk. idk nervous#talkys#especially since i have work to do! i hate feeling lazy. i dont even take naps bc i feel like its laziness i cant be out of commission for#a couple of days. WAH.#my friend had an adjacent surgery and said she woke up in a lot of pain! they obvs administered pain management#immediately but oh god. ykwim. im scared of waking up in a lot of pain being in a lot of pain

Thurs 31st October
Happy Halloween!!
Disclaimer, I didn't do the booping last year so I'm just gonna boop everyone. It's cute!
Walked Mags early this morning, we saw her friends Willow & Lily, then played with a stick on one field, and with her ball on another. She was so happy and relaxed and it made me so happy too.
Came home and did my workout bc I had gone out and gotten back earlier than usual. Back & shoulders, but I had to go easy on the weights bc I had pulled something in my left shoulder. Still a good workout though!
Ootd for work. Also I had e-learning refreshers to do so I got comfy on the sofa for the morning. Felt good for this to be my office 😍
Went for a little walk at lunch and we saw another one of Maggie's friends who I hadn't met called Gino, he was such a sweetie 🥰
Made pasta bake for dinner (probably shouldn't have. My skin is going crazy probably bc of all the cheese I've eaten the past few days on enchiladas and now this 😬). A couple of the kids on our street came trick or treating and they were all super cute!

Struggled a bit today mentally. I didn’t get enough sleep and I didn’t drink enough water and it got me in a bit of a negative headspace. Took a short mid afternoon nap and then got up and got outside to help clear the funk.
Not the most inspired workout today but closed all three rings again and on track for a perfect week for tomorrow. Those doubting demons tried to claw their way back into my head but I chased them away with some mental reinforcement that my work shows, looks good and I should be proud.

idk how i’m gonna do this all semester
#i’m already so tired#and i have no time for anything cus my classes end at 7 most days#and my back is killing me from walking miles across campus to get to my classes#it’s just wake up at ass crack dawn -> go to class till 7pm -> go home to my lonely apartment -> eat my first meal of the day -> workout ->#-> shower -> do hw -> study -> then try and sleep and do it all over again#AND I LIVE IN THE CITY SO THESE DAMN TRAINS KEEP ME UP AT NIGHT#ok sorry i chugged coffee i’m over it#fuck it we ball#😞

Tried out a closer gym in the Upper West Side for the first time for funsies/bc it was getting late, and it wasn't too shabby (small locker room tho for being a two-floorer), though despite it being leg day my chest apparently wanted to chest 😳
#ore no kao#[also god this cute ginger i kept making eye contact with... may go back there more often in part to see how that goes lol]#[actually felt like there were a few more cute guys there than at my home gym in midtown--not that i was focusing on that or anything]#leg workout went well but had to can the sled part bc it felt weird using it on the floor there lol#also no Stairmaster but we'll see how i feel about making it up on Wed#and now work in the morning 🥱

i love my gym but the structure is kind of dogshit like im not sure this is conducive to anything to be super honest
#the best parts of it are boxing and not having to engage a single braincell bc the exercises are just listed for you#and i think the high intensity circuit thing works for my body quite well BUT i really love proper strength training and obviously#i am nawt getting that here#havent been in a real gym in like 8 years though and i dont want to. amen#but i DO desperately want to see how much i can leg press now bc im so much stronger than i was when i was 20#i need that ego boost bc im never lifting anything really heavy in my workouts bc theres just no time#3 minute timers w paired exercises on a 45 min circuit my ass has GOT to think long term frhdjnc#fuck me though i need to work on my footwork at home i just dont Get it 😭#shes like get in close for the hook but you need distance for the cross right before it#idk i slurry my moves too much i guess. like im not pulling my cross all the way back before hitting the hook bc im already there#i think i figured smth out today though so yay#just need to ignore the other exercise on the station and just work this thang til i get it

Weds 14th Feb
Valentine's workout bc I was feeling gross from eating lots of cake with Nanna Mary for her birthday
Followed by a lovely Valentine's dinner cooked by Matthew ❤️ wore my pretty new dress for the occasion even though we were just at home stuffing our faces and watching tv 😂 it was nice to get dolled up a little though!
Thurs 15th Feb
Back to work today, it was nice to be back. Did a short little workout when I got home. Felt strong even though I didn't get to do as much as I wanted.
Had fajitas for dinner, then a bath. Now bed 😴
