I think the internet collectively needs a reminder that the ‘baby on board’ stickers are for EMT’s in the event of a car crash to know that theres a baby in the car and not in fact the car implying that you were going to ram them on purpose if not for the baby

Ok, but this is my biggest pet peeve (not actually mad, just important safety info) Baby On Board stickers are not to tell other drivers to be careful of the car. The Baby On Board sticker is to alert first responders that there should be a child in the vehicle, and if they don’t see one, to check the surrounding area for an ejected child.

Your Baby On Board sticker should not be on any windows, they are quick to go in a wreck, first responders won’t get the message. Your sticker should be on the body of your vehicle, better yet? On the side of your vehicle where your child typically sits.

And if you have an autistic child, non-verbal child, child with medical allergies, you need to write that information on a sticker and place it in an easy and visible spot on the child’s car seat/booster seat. In the event of an emergency, first responders need all the help they can get to give a child care as fast as possible. Every second counts.
