Aphrodite Devotees y'all are NEVER gonna believe this

If you saw my previous post you'd know I went to an antique store where I found an Aphrodite sculpture as well as a little brass bowl with a dove and lamb engraved onto it. So that was kind of my first sign that I was being called to by Lady Aphrodite, so I went and bought those to keep on my altar.

Anyways, today shit got even weirder.

I was driving home when this bright white dove (!!!) flew RIGHT next to my car window on my side. I didn't get a pic cuz I was driving and in such disbelief (I don't think I had ever seen one irl before), then I watched it fly away. It was most definitely a dove, brightest white I've ever seen on a bird.

Fast forward, I've been home for a few hours when I remembered I put out a jar of water with a few rose quartzes in my backyard to charge in last night's full moon. So I went to go pick it up- except I stopped because this HARE was sleeping right next to it.

So I was like 'wait...are hares sacred to a certain deity?' Checked Google and Theoi.com and yup! Sacred to Aphrodite just like the dove! Thank GOD I got a pic this time. I haven't gotten the jar back yet cuz he's still out there sleeping next to it, but I'll pick it up later when he leaves :) I guess I gotta go pick up something to make as an offering to Aphrodite cuz WOW.

If anyone has advice on what to offer/how to talk to her I'd really REALLY appreciate it! I'm a Dionysus and Hermes devotee so I really don't know what to expect lmao

uhhh quick question, for ppl who are smart who would I pray to(Aphrodite, Apollon, Dionysos) to get all the nice teachers? Specifically for the pagans bcs yas but like.. just, whow oudl I pray to exactly??

update; I have now officially dedicated my little after-shower ritual to Lady Aphrodite. I prayed, then simply talked with her, and I'm left feeling wonderful. I could really feel Her this time 🩷

I’m a baby Hellenistic pagan and I need some help.

I am trying to form a relationship w Artemis and I think it’s going well? When I talk to her through my cards, she always seems much more confident about this than I am lol But that’s not of what I need help w rn

I was raised Christian and I’m struggling with the whole “thou shalt put no other gods before me” and “I am a jealous god” thing and all that. I’ve always believed in nymphs, dryads, river spirits, etc with no problem but now that I’m focusing more on Artemis, I’ve found myself attributing their beauty and power and even other Olympians’ domains (ex: rainstorm, sunset) to her even tho I know it’s wrong.

I know that’s not how Hellenism works and I would actually get in trouble if I didn’t acknowledge other gods but I can’t get out of the mindset that I can only acknowledge one god. Any advice?

And today I got mail that I'd won a scholarship I was entirely certain I didn't qualify for. Holy. Fuck.

Making a Google Drive for prayers to the Theoi. Each deity will have a Google Doc with a bunch of prayers written along with the @ of whoever wrote it. If you have a certain prayer you want to include or you want me to make a Doc for one of the more obscure deities, please tell me! I don’t want to miss anyone. I also would like to do this for Kemetic and Norse deities, and maybe other pantheons if someone suggests it, so feel free to suggest things for those pantheons too.
