Azure Studios - Little SaMple PaCk

Just purchased a sample pack that I'd like to recommend from the Azure Studios at Bandcamp. It is called the Foundations I and is free of copyright, so you can use it in your productions.

The other one is not a sample pack but a sound bank for the Novation Summit Synth and is in combination to Foundation I, a stellar product that offers you 60 sounds in the bank with a wonderful sound design. It is called the Temporal Flux.

The top deck is... Very empty. To be expected, this late at night, with the sky too cloudy to make out the stars.

The rotomphone's view is a little shaky as it floats up to a point above the stands. There's a figure, swimming out to sea, aided by a lone, tentacled figure. It's Kai, holding on to a board, and Mephistopheles. Looks like swimming lessons paid off.

There's figures on the deck below slowly going to watch, only audible, not visible. They can just about see as Kai stops on the thankfully-still waters, and shuffles to half-sit on the board, kept steady with psychic power. The water looks like ink, in the moonless night.

Kai turns, trying to gain their bearings, and notices the flash of their phone. They wave as the rotom zooms to focus them, a distant, wide, almost reverent grin on their face. They mouth something, too difficult to make out, and pull out the Azure Flute.

The wince on their face is palpable, as their skin burns and reddens at the touch of the flute. They have to take their gloves off to use it, unfortunately, and try to dip their hands in the sea to cool them. Being salty, this was not a smart move, and they only wince more, almost dropping the flute in the moment.

However, all rights itself, and the performance begins.

Despite the long distance from the school, the melody can be heard- Well, to any actual students present, it can. It picks up only as a horrid screech of static on the Rotomphone, but yet, it keeps filming.

The ocean stills further to the tune, flat as a board, with no waves and no tides. It's like one could walk on it, and Kai's board rests on it as such, like a plank of wood on a grassy field.

Mephi's gaze turns upwards, and her appendages wriggle. She dives under the water, the droplets freezing mid-air. Everything freezes.

Then, a light. One so bright, it's like it is midday. The sky tears asunder, a spotlight only on Kaiser, and they gaze up, their face streaming with tears. They smile, and with one burnt, shaking, bleeding hand, they reach up to touch it.

Then, darkness. The sounds of panic and terror fill the deck of Blueberry Academy, but no visuals accompany it. It's like all of the light in the world disappeared.

It takes a moment, but reality flickers back to. Mephi floats back to shore, eyes distant, and Kaiser is nowhere to be seen.
