Small update from my beloved project moving along. Studiodesk build in progress and in its finish stages. Looking forward to make ergonomic work space around my work. It is just the time to get anything reconnected to continue making music. Without playing the keys, I feel just to be half the way of a person.

Azure Studios - Little SaMple PaCk
Just purchased a sample pack that I'd like to recommend from the Azure Studios at Bandcamp. It is called the Foundations I and is free of copyright, so you can use it in your productions.
Tumblr media
The other one is not a sample pack but a sound bank for the Novation Summit Synth and is in combination to Foundation I, a stellar product that offers you 60 sounds in the bank with a wonderful sound design. It is called the Temporal Flux.
Both together are less than a €20.- which is a super offer. Thanks, Azure Studios and I hope you will have some more such of good offers in the future.

MOOG
The history of Moog is a fascinating journey through the evolution of electronic music. Founded by Robert Moog in 1953, the company gained prominence with the introduction of the Moog synthesizer in the 1960s, a groundbreaking instrument that revolutionized music production. The Moog synthesizer's modular design allowed musicians to shape and manipulate sound in unprecedented ways, contributing to the emergence of electronic music genres.
In 1964, the iconic Moog Modular Synthesizer made its debut, attracting attention from avant-garde composers and progressive rock musicians. Wendy Carlos's album "Switched-On Bach," released in 1968, further popularized Moog synthesizers, showcasing their versatility and expressive capabilities.
The 1970s saw the release of more compact and affordable synthesizers, such as the Minimoog Model D, which became a staple in popular music. Moog's impact extended beyond music, influencing film soundtracks and shaping the sonic landscape of the era.
Despite financial challenges, the Moog legacy endured, and the brand experienced a revival in the 21st century. In 2002, Bob Moog reacquired the Moog Music name, and the company continued to produce innovative synthesizers, including the Voyager and subsequent models.
The Moog brand became synonymous with high-quality analog sound and craftsmanship, appealing to both vintage enthusiasts and contemporary musicians seeking classic warmth. In 2015, Moog released the Moog Model 15 app, bringing the iconic modular experience to the digital realm.
Moog's commitment to education and innovation is evident through initiatives like the Moog Foundation, dedicated to preserving Bob Moog's legacy and inspiring future generations of electronic music creators. The company remains at the forefront of synthesizer technology, balancing tradition and innovation in the rapidly evolving world of electronic music.

Peter Kuhlmann aka Pete Namlook - Chillout Pioneer, technical nerd, gardener, cook and probably some more. Unfortunately he passed away to early November, 2012.
A great collection of his productions are to find at bandcamp:

This is a stellar homebrew DIY monosynth project accomplished after a year of intensive work performed by Justin Janczakowski. Congratulations and I hope this project will mature into a great product.

Valhalla Supermassive Free
Tumblr media
The reverb at the end of the universe and entirely free of charges. I have strated to purchase the fair price and legendary plugins a couple of years ago without any regret and still use them, specifically the Vintage Verb.
Sean Costellos latest plugin is big and it covers networks of delays up to two seconds. This plug in goes from lush shorter reverbation all the way up to epic stretches of minutes at a time.
Valhalla Supermassive is designed to blow your mind and your music to new levels of consciousness and experience! Luscious clouds of reverb, otherworldly delays, swelling waves of feedback unlike any you’ve heard before.
Valhalla Supermassive has been designed from the ground up for MASSIVE delays and reverbs. There are multiple models built-in, so that one can describe this as a combination of effects in one. It’s very unique and one can not just use this plugin as a polish for a finished track but as an instrument by its own.
Supermassive uses a variety of feedback delay networks, where each delay in the structure can be up to 2 seconds long. Combine these long delays with the unique WARP control, and the results range from echoes that slowly fade in, to cascading harmonic echoes, to lush reverbs, onwards to reverbs that decay way over the course of minutes.
Features:
- Tempo synced delays, up to 2 seconds
- Multiphase delay modulation
- DENSITY control, that allows you to dial in pointillistic echoes, lush reverbs, echo clusters, and all sorts of sounds in between.
- Eight unique delay/reverb MODES, named after celestial objects:
- Gemini: Fast attack, shorter decay, high echo density.
- Hydra: Fast-ish attack, shorter decay, low to high echo density (depending on the DENSITY control setting)
- Centaurus: Medium attack, longer decay, medium to high echo density (depending on the DENSITY control setting)
- Sagittarius: Slow attack, longer decay, high echo density
- Great Annihilator: Medium attack, very long decay, medium to high echo density (depending on the DENSITY control setting)
- Andromeda: Slowest attack, very long decay, very high echo density
- Lyra: Fast attack, shorter decay, low echo density
- Capricorn: Fast attack, shorter decay, medium echo density
- Cross-platform preset browser

Most recently, the sample kit of the EMU Vintage Pro synthesizer that is offered by Legowelt came to my attention. I’ve also captured the remaining samples from Legowelt’s homepage. I just can recommend to do the same. They are free of charge and very professionally sorted. It is a gold mine of sounds, pads, strings, synths, beeps (FX) and drums.
EMU Vintage Pro (375 samples from a 2002 digital space synthesizer)
Yamaha PSS380 (2 Operator FM Keyboard)
Yamaha PSS795 (120 samples from a 90s PPO style LO-FI machine)
Roland JV2080  (322 samples from a 1997 Roland JV2080 synthesizer)
Yamaha DX-Files (300 FM sounds from several Yamaha DY synthesizers)
Yamaha SY35 ( 121 samples from the 1990 Yamaha SY35 Digital Vector Synthesizer)
Korg Electribe ER-1 (150 samples from the Electribe ER-1 synthesizer)
Yamaha DX200 (78 Drumkit symples from the DX200 synthesizer)
Roland JD 800 (350 samples from the 1992 Roland JD800 synthesizer)
Korg Mono/Poly (300 samples from the 1981 analog synthesizer)
Roland Juno 106 (250 samples from a classic synth without words)
Casio MT70 (Analog Drums)
Boss DR660 (Chicago house drums)
All in all you get a bunch of high quality sounds from juicy big basses, space pads, athmos, arpeggios, synthetic drums
Thank you Legowelt for your voluntary commitment to have made these high qulity packs happen. One can just say “thanks” since it is unusual to sort something like this unsalaried nowadays.

A free plug in from Soundtoys. The NEW little Plate was build based on the original EMT 140 plate reverb (Soundtoys gathered five (5) EMT 140s to recreate the methodology of the plate reverb). The plug is free thru November 22. I’ve installed it and I just can confirm a magnificent sound of the software. Reg. 99$, so that is definitely a nobrainer: http://www.soundtoys.com/product/little-plate/.
