I love when the devs just say stuff about the lore like it's all casual when it completely reframes how the spiral as a whole is seen. Like the most recent live they showed the demo for ravenwood academy and the camera panned over to the blackboard and it had the magic wheel thing with all of the schools and they said The game takes place before balance magic was discovered which was already wild cus the drakes are supposedly in ravenwood already but the wild thing is that they said the game takes place 50-60 years ago. I'm sorry what? HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? I can accept balance magic can spread across the spiral quickly as the spiral likes gossip but.. how does Azteca have balance magic? The world was thought to have been lost in the early spiral but there are enemies and bosses that are of the school. That could be the Aztecasaurs Also discovering it but there's still one thing, the old one's doomed situationship. How on Bartleby's green spiral did quartermane get balance magic? He's been on ice for aeons but still can cast spells like judgement? I know some spells are added to increase the decks, looking at you dyvim, but his whole school couldn't have existed back when the spiral geographic society was founded. I don't know

i haven't played past arc 3 and forgot most of my playthrough so i may be incorrect about this but it's so interesting how like only two people in the entire game so far have ever acknowledged the unfair situation the wizard has been put in, and those people were Motherfucking Morganthe and Motherfucking Grandfather Spider

I love the idea of a death wizard who parallels Malistaire pre-Sylvia’s death working together with Cyrus so much. Cyrus sees his brother in this child and it hurts because he misses his brother so much but it also worries him deeply. The wizard and Malistaire are so similar he can only hope that the trauma the wizard will have to live with after dragonspyre (and even more so after future worlds) will not make them into the man Malistaire is now. And really and truly, Malistaire is just a man overrun with grief over a loved one, which could so easily happen to the wizard. I think it would so interesting to see a villain arc very similar to Malistaires with the wizard

Big shout-out to the ocs and lore that depicts physical/appearance changes due to high concentration and uses of magic btw that shit is so cool. Whether your wizard's hair turns blue or straight up grows an extra arm due to the excessive amount of powerful magic they use everyday I eat that shit up. Bonus points if it's a rare/newly discovered condition or if your wizard is just straight up unrecognizable from arc 1 to arc 4. Bonus bonus points if the wizard gains a disability from it and has to learn to adapt to their new condition

my absolute detestation of Marleybonian socialites appearing in other worlds is multiplied by 1,000,000% while I finish up doing all the side quests in Azteca because KATHLEEN FUCKING WILDER MA'AM THERE ARE METEORITES RAINING FROM THE SKY AND YOU WANT ME TO FIND YOU A STUPID MAP THAT GOES NOWHERE.
