Crowley has been an escort for the last 15 years, working with the Heaven Sent agency for the last 12, specialising in domination and stress relief.

Sure, his life has been a little turned upside down last year, when he's been trusted as his little sister's guardian, but he's doing fine for himself.

As long as he sticks to his rules, and the most important of them: never fall in love with a client.

Chapter 1- rule#1 leave before they wake up

Aziraphale looked up, and their eyes locked briefly. The man's breath audibly itched and it sparked a fire to light up inside Crowley's chest. Fuck, they'd barely talked at all and he already wanted to grab him and press him against a wall. He looked so soft and vulnerable, almost angelic under the harsh light of the elevator, and at the same time, now that they were just the two of them, something fierce was dancing in his eyes, that made Crowley wonder what they'd seen, that made him want to peel the man layer after layer to know him.

Neil gaiman said it himself--the kiss wasn't the proof of love, and it wasn't to make this relationship canon to any viewers who doubted it. If you can't see the love they truly had then you can't understand their character choices or what lead Crowley to the kiss. (/nm just a lil frustrated bc romantic gestures or kisses aren't all there is to romance and every little gesture that aziraphale did to make Crowley happy or protective words from Crowley's mouth...THOSE are the I love you's.)
