Azad Hind Sarkar: Netaji
In 1943, Subhas Chandra Bose established the Azad Hind Sarkar (Provisional Government of Free India) during the Second World War. This was a government based in other countries aimed at gaining independence for India from British rule with the Axis powers' assistance especially Japan, and Germany. The headquarters was situated in Singapore, which was under Japanese occupation, and the Indian National Army (INA) which was the military division of this government, focused its endeavors concerning war activities primarily against the British.
Tumblr media
Important Points Concerning the Azad Hind Sarkar:
The Azad Hind Sarkar officially came into existence on the 21st of October in the year 1943. This sovereign government was founded by Subhas Chandra Bose to fight for India’s independence during the Second World War. Its operations were mainly based in Japan-occupied regions with Singapore as its busiest office.
Decline and Legacy:
The Azad Hind Sarkar suffered a setback after the loss of Japan in the war. By 1945, when the Allies succeeded in Southeast Asia, the INA was already dissolved, and after an alleged plane crash of Bose, his location was no longer certain. However, the actions of the INA helped precipitate a change in the attitude of the British vis-a-vis India’s independence.
The Azad Hind Administration remains an important part of Indian history as a courageous initiative of Subhas Chandra Bose to free India and continues to be a symbol of India’s fight for freedom.

Azad Hind Gram: A Tribute to India's Freedom Fighters
India's struggle for independence is a saga of courage, sacrifice, and unwavering determination. The freedom movement was led by luminaries like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Sardar Patel, but it was a collective effort involving countless unsung heroes who contributed to the cause in various ways. One such tribute to India's freedom fighters is "Azad Hind Gram."
The Birth of Azad Hind Gram:
Azad Hind Gram, meaning "Free India Village" in Hindi, is a memorial and cultural complex dedicated to the memory of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and the soldiers of the Azad Hind Fauj (Indian National Army or INA). It is located in Nidhivan, near Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India.
The idea for Azad Hind Gram was conceived in 2001, with the primary aim of preserving the legacy of Netaji and the INA and paying homage to their role in the struggle for independence. The complex covers an area of approximately 86 acres and includes various elements that highlight the rich history and sacrifices made by those who fought for India's freedom.
Key Features of Azad Hind Gram:
Netaji Museum: At the heart of Azad Hind Gram stands the Netaji Museum, which houses a remarkable collection of artifacts, photographs, and documents related to the life and times of Subhas Chandra Bose. Visitors can explore the museum to learn about Netaji's early years, his leadership of the INA, and his contributions to the freedom struggle.
INA War Memorial: The complex features an impressive war memorial that honors the soldiers of the INA who laid down their lives for the cause of India's independence. The memorial is a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by these brave men and women.
Light and Sound Show: Azad Hind Gram offers a captivating light and sound show that recounts the story of Netaji and the INA's valiant struggle. It is an immersive experience that transports visitors back to the tumultuous era of the freedom movement.
Replica of Jhansi Fort: One of the striking features of Azad Hind Gram is a replica of the historic Jhansi Fort. This fort holds a special place in India's history, as it was where Rani Lakshmi Bai of Jhansi fought against British colonial rule. The replica serves as a symbol of resistance and courage.
Cultural Performances: Visitors to Azad Hind Gram can enjoy cultural programs that showcase India's diverse heritage. These performances celebrate the country's rich traditions and the spirit of unity that was instrumental in the fight for freedom.
Freedom Struggle Exhibition: The complex also hosts exhibitions that provide insights into the broader freedom struggle. These exhibits educate visitors about the sacrifices made by countless freedom fighters from different regions and backgrounds.
The Significance of Azad Hind Gram:
Azad Hind Gram serves as a testament to the undying spirit of freedom that inspired Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and the soldiers of the INA. It is a place of reflection and remembrance, where visitors can pay their respects to the heroes who dedicated their lives to the cause of a free India.
Moreover, Azad Hind Gram plays a vital role in educating future generations about the sacrifices and contributions of those who fought for India's independence. It serves as a source of inspiration for young minds, encouraging them to value their freedom and work towards a better, united, and prosperous India.
In a world that is constantly changing, Azad Hind Gram stands as a timeless tribute to the enduring values of patriotism, courage, and sacrifice. It reminds us that the struggle for freedom is a shared responsibility, and the memory of those who fought for it should forever be etched in our hearts and minds. Azad Hind Gram ensures that the flame of freedom continues to burn brightly, lighting the way for a brighter future.

Later, in October 2015, Indian President Pranab Mukherjee traveled to Israel, during which he addressed the Israeli Knesset, received an honorary doctorate from the University of Jerusalem, met with Israelis of Indian origin, and laid a wreath at the tomb of the father of Zionism, Theodor Herzl. "I informed the Israeli leadership about various initiatives taken by the Government of India like 'Make in India', 'Digital India', 'Clean Ganga', 'Smart Cities', 'Start-up India', etc. and invited investment as well as participation by Israeli companies," Mukerjee said.
Mukerjee also traveled to Ramallah in the occupied Palestinian territories where he met with the Palestinian Authority's President Mahmoud Abbas, received a doctorate from Al Quds University, inaugurated a roundabout named "Maidan Al Hind," and paid tribute at the Mausoleum of Yasser Arafat. In a statement, Mukerjee said India had increased the number of ICCR scholarships to Palestinian students from 10 to 25 per year and the number of Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) training slots for Palestinian nationals from 50 to 100, and handed over a check of $5m as budgetary support to the Palestinian Authority. Israeli arms exports to India were worth around $1bn alone.
This is how a "de-hyphenated approach" to Israel and Palestine would play out: political and economic pragmatism with Israel and charity for the compromised Palestinian leadership.

Wing Commander A.S. Bedi underscored the monumental contributions of Netaji to India’s independence struggle, particularly his pivotal role in establishing the Indian National Army (INA). “Netaji’s vision and leadership were instrumental in our quest for freedom,” said Bedi, reflecting on the profound impact of Bose’s actions.

Addressing the students of AAFT University, Marwah underscored the enduring inspiration drawn from Netaji’s indomitable spirit and unwavering commitment to the nation’s freedom. THE 'GODLY' REASON, FOR THE HUGE SUCCESS YET SAD FAILURE, OF 'INDIA'S REVOLT OF 1857' - 'THE FIRST WAR OF INDIAN INDEPENDENCE'!
A brief cursory summary of the main leaders that led 1857's First Pan-Indian Battle of Independence against the British, show that barring Mangal Pandey, who, as the Good Lord has right now informed me, was massively 'God-blessed' with 9,342 of his immediate elders & relatives in family lineage, incl himself, carrying the exact same 'blessing;' of 999,999 Million Billion Billion….755 times mentioned Billion Governing Council members in family lineage, and an angel-lineage number of 1000, and Bahadur Shah Zafar, as the last Mughal Emperor carrying forward the dwindling yet blessed Babur legacy, with mere 9 Million Governing Council members in family lineage, all else, incl Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi, or Nana Saheb, the last Peshwa of the Maratha Empire, or Nana's 2 brave generals Tantia Tope & Man Singh, or Jagdispur zamindar Kunwar Singh. were all, pure 'non-God blessed people' down the line! (This perhaps on account of lack of acquiring any 'credits' from past births, for certainly no lack of amazing Bharat-loving service to the nation in their then births!)
Hence, while they did manage to, via their own secret counter-networking, take their movement to a notable high, were ultimately unable to match the deeply entrenched British hold over indigenous Indian controlling powers.
And thus ended the First truly indigenous Indian War of Independence of 1857, taking it midway & no more, till Subhash Bose's 'Azad Hind Fauj' took it many notches up, & almost got to the promised zone, before sadly again falling at the final hurdle (as blogged on extensively earlier).
