Modern boyfie!Sukuna wakes you up with bday sex. And he makes sure to love his bday girl thoroughly, not stopping until you squeal his name and scratch his broad, tattooed back while he groans "Happy birthday, princess," against your neck.

He insists on carrying you princess-style to the bathroom afterward, cradling you in his strong arms and kissing your forehead. And when you jokingly ask him if carrying you around is part of his bday special, Sukuna grins that sexy boyish smirk at you and is like,

"Of course, I'm carrying you. My girl doesn't have to lift a single finger on her special day! What kind of loser would I be if I didn't take the best care of you?"

And you laugh and cup his tattooed cheeks and kiss him. Though, you know that Sukuna takes such good care of you all the time, not just on your birthday. You hug Sukuna tightly, thanking him and unable to stop smiling as he turns you around so you can try the first piece of your cake while Sukuna stands behind you, his strong, tattooed arms wrapped around you, his tall body pressing lightly against your back. His large hands sprawl over your hips, and you can feel his smile against your neck when he kisses you there.

He lets you feed him cake later on, making you laugh when Sukuna rolls his eyes in pleasure and praises his own baking skills, though you agree with him because the cake really tastes heavenly.

But the cake isn't all Sukuna has planned. This day is only for you and him, and he takes you shopping later on and gives you the rest of your presents, beautiful flowers, and a necklace he saw you ogling once when you were window-shopping.

Sukuna's large, tattooed hand holds yours the whole time you stroll through the streets and the shopping malls. And you can't help but lean against him, smiling happily when you smell his sexy cologne and feel his buff biceps flex against your cheek.

In the evening, Sukuna leads you to your favorite restaurant, where he booked a table decorated with rose petals and candles. Update, the Rosi x Reader x Doffy is now 6k long, send help. Little Law is such a crazy little guy now with his Devil Fruit I love him, Bepo, Shachi and Penguin so much my little babies. 🥺

The other fic idea I have in the making but only wrote a little of is Dressrosa Citizen!Reader x Doflamingo. Doffy learns about Dressrosa when he is fourteen and flies there to see it. Little 12-year-old Reader snuck out of the field where she works with her family to the Flower Field and meets a boy who has the same hair as the sunflowers. They befriend each other and Doffy sneaks out of North Blue on his strings to meet Reader once a month. Little Reader tells him how she doesn't like seeing the nobles getting to take it easy while she and her family work in the field, that she wishes everyone got to have equally nice lives, that she doesn't like not being able to buy toys while her parents say they're happy with how they live while little Reader doesn't understand it, and Doffy tells her that the Riku Family aren't the real rulers. The real ones are his family, the Donquixotes, and he is the rightful ruler of Dressrosa. They end up sneaking into the royal palace to get the books about it and spend the entire day reading them atop the tree in the sunflower field. Reader feels sad Doffy is a noble, since that means they won't be able to see each other on normal occassions. Doffy laughs and says that once he is king, he will make Reader his queen. He asks for her hand and makes a string wedding ring around her finger, and then makes one around his own. "When I come back, I'll find you with this. It can't be taken off without my power, so you can't lose it even if you try. I'll remove these string rings from our fingers and we'll put the real ones on at our wedding."

It's a promise. Doffy seals it with a kiss (it's his first kiss ever awww) and asks Reader to wait for him, since it might take him a while. He can't return to Dressrosa anymore since Trebol figured out he's flying somewhere and he can't risk being recognised as a Donquixote. He says Riku would kill him if he found out.

Seventeen years later, you are a member of Riku's Army in Acacia and see the fire start out in the main city... You can't believe Riku and the palace soldiers are killing all the citizens. You lead the fire brigade effort and you at one point head to take Riku's head. A blur of pink flies past you and your horse, and a man larger than your horse takes Riku off his steed, punching the King straight in the gut. The pink-coat wearing huge man lands down while holding King Riku, and in the dark red light of the fire there is a glimmer of white on his long, tanned, ring finger that is clenched with the others into a fist on King Riku's collar.

Donquixote Doflamingo, a warlord, short spiky blond hair and large grin, is holding Riku up in the air. He looks like the champion of the colosseum.

The true king of Dressrosa has returned, as he promised you.

I think I titled the fic Sunflowers and Fire, since they're the aesthetic themes of the fic. Reader literally after the two of them realise it's each other calls Doflamingo a "big boy" and Doflamingo experiences blue balls because Reader leaves to help with the fire. He likes being called big boy 🥺🥺

When Sebek invites you to his hometown- Briar Valley- it comes as a welcomed surprise. He talks of his hometown with such enthusiasm- the training range, the lakes his grandfather used to take him, the best places to hunker down on stormy nights.

It was cute the way he stopped by Ramshackle to help you pack, holding up mismatched pair of gloves, exclaiming that due to the number of holes in them, they would not keep you warm. Neither will your thin long sleeves... Neither will your ankle socks... The next day you see him rush in with an oversized jacket that hit your kneecaps, a warm, cream-colored hat, and gloves that matched his.

You can see the way his eyes shine when you step out of the mirror, close to night. Dark trees contrast against snow-topped mountains, the city itself bustling with the use of magic. Gems embedded into their heaters leave the cobblestone path clean of any sleet that may cause injury. It felt like a city made of fairytales.

Sebek sees the way your mouth is open in awe and tuts his head in victory.

“See human! Nothing can compare to the magnificence of Brair Valley!” His hand extends as if decorated the whole plaza by himself, smile widening, “Not even Night Raven Academy can compare to this brilliance.” You just laugh, tiny pearls of sound echo out of you as he pulls you, side by side explaining each detail of his childhood.

How he hit his knee on the fountain there and dented the fountain itself. His favorite candy store now turned into a small grocery pop-up his mother would take him and his siblings. A café that the grownups would never let him or his childhood friends enter because they make too much of a ruckus. He said it looked like the castle to conquer as they trained as small squires back then.

You can see his point. With a dark green roof and muted brown paint, painted against it were murals of gargoyles and delicate rose flowers blooming by the windows almost alive. Tacked to the forehead of the door you see the sign open- warm orange lights calling you from the cold outside, no matter how many layers you wore. You tug his sleeve, breaking Sebek from his monologue, “Let’s go in. You know- to fulfill your childhood dreams.”

It doesn’t take much to convince him when you make it a challenge and he sputters how he is a real knight now that he is ready for anything now trained, and how he could protect Lord Malleus-

A chaste kiss to his lips for silence, you pull him behind you opening the front door as you lead into a comfy café. Antique wooden chairs that were decorated with mini gargoyles, a candle- lantern spiny lazily with small- what you can assume fairies keeping the fire warm. You take the table next to the fireplace, Sebek hates it cold.

Lifting the menu, you see delicately painted pictures of lattes to teas- you thought that this be a bar considering what he said about grownups not letting him in before. Sebek brows are furrowed as well as he flips the menu back and forward- he must also have the same confusion as you. It’s too cute not to tease!

You reach over the table and take his hands, “Stop that. I know we are at the center of the evil headquarters but that doesn’t mean you can give yourself away oh knight.” Sebek scoffs but doesn’t pull away from your warmth, “What can a weakling life you do to protect I?” You give a soft smile as you pull his hands closer to your side of the table, “Why I’m much stronger than you?” As you do you lean over to kiss both of his knuckles, and he sputters retracting his hands like fire touched them. Another laugh leaves you as you pick up the menu again, Sebek squirming in his seat, “Now, what shall we order?”

Reading the last Ædan route's ask about his reasoning for breaking the engagement with MC, made me even more irritated/frustrated with him, because he is so ineherently selfish.

We know that Ædan and MC grew up together and that he has shown his true self and true emotions to MC on occasions, so I assume he trusted/came to rely/considered MC a friend, at least.

We know that he is good at reading people and at make people like him, so he must have known or at least strongly suspected that MC loved him (especially with how MC behaved little MC gushing about him and asking for his favorite flowers 🥺)

He just doesn't care. He falls in love, he felt trapped, he was scared to repeat his mother situation all over, so what does he does? Does he thinks for a moment about someone else but himself and what he wants? Does he goes to MC and tells them that he doesn't love them, just to gauge their reaction, not even mentioning Helene, not even mentioning to break up the engagement (in case things go bad and he has to take counter misures), just to be respectful of someone who loves him and revolved their entire life around him? No. Nope. He wants Helene so who cares who will be hurt in the process? He cheats, schemes, betrays everyone's trust for years and he does way worse than what happened to his mother. And no he wasn't unaware that he was going to hurt MC, he knew, he even feels guilty about it, but again he got what he wanted, so it's fine.

PS: Alby you should be proud, you made characters so compelling that even if we didn't read "interacting" with them directly yet they are already very "alive" ❤️

We know that Ædan and MC grew up together and that he has shown his true self and true emotions to MC on occasions, so I assume he trusted/came to rely/considered MC a friend, at least.

This wasn't exactly the case 😅 I hadn't really elaborated, but the times when Ædan's mask slipped were a result of his strong emotions about something related to Ædric, not really because he trusted MC.

For example, when Ædric was given command over his own division of knights, MC might have noticed Ædan frowning when he thought no one was looking or that he had a forced smile when he congratulated Ædric.

My reaction to this ask the whole time I was reading it: 🤭

maybe nezha has one of those lil kid crushes on mk and acts out for his attention. as overwhelmed the poor monkie is he's still trying to be patient and kind to kid nezha (considering he knows some about how he was treated) doing his best to keep him happy and less fiery.

Jing I feel like would be a bit bratty as well, not crazy like his son but definitely a bit of a trouble maker. Azure keeps switching between overwhelmed in terms of stress and in cuteness because awww lil jing is so cute and it's kinda funny because he and nezha look like twins almost.

And the reverse.

Nezha, he's super over the moon cause holy shit, baby monkey mk is so super soft and so cuddly! Lil minis surprisingly calm and quiet but very needy in that he wants to be attached to his favorite people and get pouty if left alone too long. Or he'll get adventurous and start climbing up every available surface and giggling while avoiding a frantic nezha trying to get him down from the high up area.

I feel like jing would have the same reaction of omg so smol and soft 🥺. But I'm not sure if azure would be a troublesome cub or not lol

I LOVE the de-aging trope! It’s so fun and is absolutely hilarious!

It wouldn’t happen at once, but sort of that villain of the week that comes every few episodes and each time it’s a different character who gets hit with the evil ray.

Mk and Azure would be suprisingly easy, mostly just curious at every little thing and all the new people, but mostly low maintenance. Azure would be a little more adventurous, and would be glued to Jing’s side since the man smells like him. Mk would be a tad more cautious of Nezha, but in that “kid has a shy crush” sort of way.

Nezha really wouldn’t be that bad. He’d recognize Jing(who’d be able to mostly keep him under control) so that’s a plus. It mostly depends on how young he is, which is usually about 3-4, is how he’ll react to the others, though like mk he’d react more like a kid wish a shy crush. The biggest factor is weather or not his mom is alive.

Yin lives route: Shed be DELIGHTED that Nezha is young again, and she and Jing would just absolutely dote in the baby.

If Yin is dead…. Well Jing tries to keep it from Nezha, but eventually Nezha gets tired and wants him mom, where is his mom? And Jing has to quietly break the news to him. (Mk has never seen Nezha cry quite so hard. The tiredness in Jing’s eyes, used to it, is just more heartbreaking)

De-aged Jing is an absolute brat. In the WORST way possible. Not like spoiled or entitled, but like actually a brat brat. Screaming, tantrums, kicking, biting, you name it, he does it.

It’s actually a shock with how bad he is. The only people who can calm him down are Azure and, suprisingly, Wukong and macaque. Azure because obv baby crush. (Jing: flowa! (Hands Azure flowers) | Azure: awwww) but Wukong? And macaque?? Everyone is baffled to hell and back. But sure enough, Jing tries to start up a tantrum for some reason or another and-

Wukong, sternly: “No. We do not act that way.”

Jing: (Goes get quiet)

Pigsy: “That worked?!?”

Jing is especially clingy, which confuses and mildly concerns the monkies. The others find the whole thing hilarious, since it’s usually the monkies who antagonize Jing the most. But they figure it out soon enough.

They were in the middle of eating noodles at Pigsy’s, with Jing refusing to leave Wukongs lap, when Macawue went to get up and do something. Jing abruptly reached his hands out to the Monkie almost in a panic and yelled:

“Mama!”

The whole shop goes silent, and Wukong has to hold back his laughter at the mortified look in Macaques face. Macaque takes the kid before he h a throw a tantrum, but is still pretty shell shocked. Nezha is dying, both in horror and in laughter.

Macaque: “Quit laughing!”

Wukong: “I can’t help it! It’s too damn funny!”

Pigsy: “Language.”

Jing: “Bad Daddy! No bad words!”

Wukong: “DADDY?!”

Wukong is even more horrified than Macaque! This time nobody hides their laughter. Thankfully Once back to normal none of them really remember it. But questions still remain.

Wukong: “So, when you ere still a baby-“

Jing, nursing some tea for the headache: “Here we go-“

Wukong: “You kind of, well, referred to me as your… dad? Any idea why?”

Jing: (Heavy sigh) “My father was redheaded, but I get my black hair from my mother.”

Wukong, confused: “Readhead-??”

It leaves even more questions. Because while yes, red hair did exist in china at the time… it was the sleficic shade of orange that concerned him. And it makes them wonder about who Jing’s dad really was…

Max getting a little insecure about all of the omegas on the grid liking Charles. He knows what the media says, that he’s not the prettiest omega, and it makes him very insecure. Charles is oblivious, he barely notices anyone else, he only has eyes for Max even if Max doesn’t believe him

Max is completely in love with Charles from the start but hangs back because there are far prettier omegas on the grid and whilst Max likes to compete he also hates to lose and he thinks this is a battle he will definitely lose.

Charles has omega after omega throwing themselves at him. When he turns up to the paddock with a huge bouquet of flowers there is chatter all around the paddock about who he might be trying to court. All the omegas are preening themselves and getting their nests ready in case the available alpha turns up at their door.

Max is upset because he's not sure he can cope with the thought of Charles courting someone else. He is shocked and delighted when Charles turns up and presents him with the flowers. He purrs and whimpers so much he loses his voice.

"Eh." Cater blinked. "You wanna run that one by me again?"

"Clean your ears out and listen carefully next time," the birthday boy retorted. "I'm not going to repeat myself. If you didn't catch it the first time around, then you've only got yourself to blame."

"Nah, I did hear you, but... Well, I guess it's more like a 'Wow, I can't believe this!' moment, y'know?" A faint chuckle emanated from Cater. "After all, you're kiiinda infamous for doing just the opposite! Like, you've already been held back once, and you don't exactly have the best attendance record for lectures."

"An old lion can still learn new tricks," Leona simpered, his mouth twisting into something coy.

"You seem super motivated now, Leona-kun! Did something good happen recently to jump-start this?"

"Good?" A scoff, dryly amused. "That's a stretch. Lotsa stuff happened this year, but I'd hesitate to call any of it 'good'.

"There doesn't have to be some big, fancy world-changing reason for a change of heart. I'm just sick of stewing in the shadows and gazing out to a barren pride land. It's about time for the sun to dawn on a new era—and I plan to be there when that happens."

“Ahahah, well~ Graduating’s the bare minimum for us students. It sounds like you’ve got even bigger goals than that.”

“When you’re as noble of a soul as I am, you’ve naturally got the ambitions to match,” Leona purred sarcastically. His voice was languid, like a cat making lazy strides across the floorboards. “Can’t just be throwin’ in the towel the moment the going gets tough. That goes for Magift and in real life.”

“Hmm? That sounds totes different than the you I remember from the interdorm Magift tournament.” Cater’s mouth pulled into a smarmy grin. “I could’ve sworn you gave up and had a meltdown when your plan was foiled!”

He received a poisonous glare. “You just have to remind me, huh? … You know what? Fine, have your cake and eat it. I’ll own up to it. ‘Sides, it was a long time ago.”

“Right, you’ve had a rebranding and a personality glow-up since. All that’s missing is the formal apology video! It’s a necessity for celebs that get cancelled for their #wicked actions.”

Leona scowled deeply. “Can it, I’m NOT doing that. And who’s a ‘celeb that got cancelled for their #wicked actions’?!”

“Really? Awww, but I bet you’d get mad views on it!”

“Tch, it’s things like this that makes maintaining social grace a real drag,” Leona grumbled under his breath. What I’d give to vanish to a remote resort, far, far away from the idiots I’m surrounded with…

“Anyway, nothing gets done if all you do is whine and then quit. People who don’t try can never achieve anything. They’re already down and out from the get-go.

“Cowards who refuse to look at themselves in the mirror don’t have a place in tomorrow. They’re stuck in the past, clawing for some semblance of hope, however futile. That ain’t me, not ever again.”

“Sounds like you’ve def had this on your mind for a while! You’re acting like such a cool and self-assured leader~”

“Please. This is to be expected of every leader. Even your Red Young Master would know this much.”

Leona leaned his shoulder against the school building. Folding his arms, he lifted his head up. “They’d know it too.”

Cater followed his gaze, meeting a vast expanse of the night. The sky was painted a deep black-violet, speckled in glowing white flecks. Stars—so many of them.

“The great kings of the past,” Leona said, his words tainted with the taste of something bitter. “When we pass on, we become a part of nature: the grass and the dirt that feed the next generation, the stars in the sky that light the way in the dark. The things that keep the world turning.

“In the Circle of Life, we all have our roles to play.” A smirk steadily grew on his face. “I know what mine is, and I intend to act on it. The highest point in the sky may as well be mine.”

His declaration resounded in the silence of the campus. One wish, resolute, uttered only for him and Cater to hear. In the quiet that followed, the green of Leona’s eyes flickered not with vengeful fire, but with a flame more thoughtful and warm and…

… the slightest bit vulnerable. A softness Cater had never witnessed before.

Leona-kun has changed a lot. He’s starting to be a little more honest with himself too. wonder if I could ever meet him on that level.

The thought was quickly shoved away, shelved back in the coldest recesses of his mind before it could properly take hold. The space reserved for the darkest parts of him, where truth soured and masks were neatly displayed.

Familiarity. Safety. Comfort. Perhaps what Leona would have called cowardice.

Cater swallowed.

“… If you ask me, you already shine like the star of a great king,” he said cheerily. “Just check out your birthday get-up! You’ve got the drip and the skills for it!

“I’ve got the skills to be a ball of gas in the sky?” Leona grimaced.

“Hey, hey! Let’s not phrase it like that! It’s so not a nice image to think about. Instead, let’s call it… a ball of stardust!”

“Why stardust?”

“I read in a horoscope once that the reason we can do fortune telling with the constellations is cuz people are made of the same stuff as stars are,” Cater explained with a sure wink. “Stardust! Our essence is the same as the what’s in celestial bodies.

“Don’t you think that sounds so much more poetic? When you wish upon a star, it’s said your name wish will come true—but since people and stars are made of the same stuff… then we should be able to make our wishes come true using our own power ⭐️”

“‘Fraid I fail to see the point of your whole whimsical after-school special. It’s obvious that it’s in our hands to shape the future, balls of gas or stardust or no. The great kings of the past can watch it ‘n weep.”

“That’s the spirit!! You got this~” Cater flashed an enthusiastic thumbs-up. “Go and get’m, Leona-kun!”

“You don’t need to tell me twice.” Leona peeled himself away from the main school building, his broom ready.

The birthday boy plopped down on his magical tool, brazenly using it like a sofa. It floated seemingly on its own accord, effortlessly supporting his full weight. Controlled, obedient—like a waiting pet.

“Oh, wait!” Cater called out, suddenly producing his phone. “Is it okay if I grab some pics of you taking off for Magicam? I’ll just need your handle to send you the…”

Resting an arm on his knee, Leona brought his heel down and grinded it against the handle. A signal, a cue, for the broom to kick into high gear.

WHOOSH!!

A shower of golden sparks exploded from the bouquet, and he smoothly launched into the air, his hair and the brim of his hat flying behind him. The violent kickback slammed into Cater, sending him falling back, his phone clattering to the ground.

(“My phoooone!” he wailed.)

With the shadows out of the way, Leona could see the stars for what they really were. Tens of hundreds of them, sparkling clusters in the inky night.

So many wishes. So many kings. Many, many things. Everything, everywhere, all at once.

A world waiting to be rewritten, to tell of his accomplishments.

“One day… I’ll be among them. They’ll tell stories about me, the greatest ‘king’ of them all.” This truth, Leona spoke to the stars.

The future was littered with prizes, and he was to be the main addressee.

You can't just make her yearn for a kiss every morning like this and then not do it. If you don't, however, she'll send a bouquet of flowers to you during the day with the note "you owe me a kiss". The flowers spell a slightly passive aggressive message.

Perceval playfully nibs at your neck before you can leave. "No kiss today?" he smiles, his lips pecking the skin of your shoulder. His wings envelope the both of you for a while-- you might be late for work.

Crescent is probably lazing in bed as you prepare for work. When they realize you're about to leave and you still didn't kiss them, they spring out of bed and dramatically throw themselves in front of you. "How unfair of you to break my heart like this, my love! Now you need to kiss me at least twice. And maybe more." They wink at you.
