🦔🎟I finally saw Sonic 3 today and honestly, it was worth the long waited hype!

Keanu crushed it as Shadow, giving his 100% on the character and stole the show, along the with the cast, crew and Jim Carrey of course.

I just love how this franchise keeps getting better with entry, some studios should take notes from this series.

Also loved how the writers added the elements and lore from the games to the film, with callbacks and references, fun and emotional storytelling, a epic third act with Live and Learn, and a post credit that will give a any Sonic fan wanting more.

This film is already my favorite in the trilogy and words can't not describe how excited I am for Sonic 4 and what's to come!🎟🦔

sometimes I think about the fact that maria was probably the first or among the first people diagnosed with NIDS (considering it’s the sonic-universe equivalent of AIDS and she lived a few decades before that was officially discovered in our world) and i just get very sad bc like. either she got it from her mother (who then almost certainly would have passed away due to it while Maria was still young) or she had something happen in early childhood that meant she needed a blood transfusion (which is less traumatic but implies she either has a chronic illness or had an accident that caused blood loss, both of which would have been terrifying for what was probably a toddler to go through still) and then when she's still like. maybe 12-13 at the oldest she develops a horrible, extremely painful disease that no one understands, probably has to go through a lot of tests because again she’d be one of if not the first people known to have it, and then she spends the rest of her life in a lab bc the lowered gravity and advanced medical treatments were the only thing keeping her alive and she was still unable to be cured or even have any form of treatment. like she has days where she can’t even walk or see properly. and like again bc she’s one of the first people with this she’s probably also going to have to go through lots of tests to even marginally slow the progression of her symptoms. and she still didn’t hesitate to sacrifice herself for her brother. she was both intelligent and brave enough to hold composure and save him while not only actively bleeding out from a gunshot wound but also extremely weak and in severe pain from her illness. she's so fucking badass and i refuse to be swayed otherwise.

college is a bit quieter than i thought it would be right now so i finished the... supersize future keychains i have been working on for a while. my sewing skill is... well, i have never really sewn seriously before, so i'm still prickling myself a lot and making a lot of mistakes, but i'm happy with how those turned out! i still have to attach some keychain rings to them so they can accompany me into The Horrors (college).
