Before she and Nathalie finally realized their feelings for each other, Emilie spent most of her story in my Stammering Adrien AU being a widow. There is nothing wrong with being a widow, but different people react differently to certain situations and titles. So this begs the question, how would Emilie, an emotional woman who loved her husband dearly, feel about being labeled "a widow?" Would she not be bothered by it since it's just a word? Would it bother her a little bit since the word itself is synonymous with loss and grief? Or would she be devastated to be called "a widow" because not only does it remind her of what she's lost, but it's now how others define her?

So this is a vent.

I was watching The case study of Vanitas and I thought Vanitas and Noe would be cute together, I was getting romantic tension. Then Jeanne was introduced. When Noe and Vanitas were dancing and he said he could never love someone who loved him back i got excited because i made a major oversight. I thought that just because Vanitas probably wouldn't actually get together with the woman since it would take more than 24 episodes for him to change his mind. I though that the chances of him getting with Noe would go up just because he wouldn't be with Jeanne.

It took me watching a reaction video(and getting a bit spoiled, on episode 10 rn) to realize that it applies to Noe too. Even if Noe is catching romantic feelings it won't matter because then Vanitas would be likely to try and put distance between the two of them. They wouldn't get their 'Happily every after'.

I think I would rather they have a strictly platonic relationship in that scenario. But again, I've not finished the whole show yet so it's possible the anime won't be as angsty as I'm assuming.

I think the easiest to set off would be Orfeo (Fell!Sparky) so maaaybe not him (especially cause the Black Charge abilities... hmm. sucking out life energy wouldn't end well).

Cosmo is half-aware despite his Hypersomnia. He can fight in his sleep and is rather competent at it (And it'd be a little boring to fight a sleeping enemy anyway, wouldn't it?).

how they met, how he tripped over himself to woo her, how he cried his eyes out when penelope became pregnant, how telemachus wouldn't sleep in his cot as a baby because he was so used to being in his father's arms because odysseus would not put him down; and yes, how viciously he defended their family when the atrides came to retrieve him for the war

telemachus? the child of the Unhinged Power Couple? who knew very well how horrible those suitors were, how they treated him and spoke of his mother?

took one look at his dad viciously protecting their home, their family, and thought he was the coolest, strongest person ever (after mom ofc)
