Real talk.. endgame was a really nice send off to the characters we grew to know and love. And they did a good job of presenting the new faces of what is to come.

I can't imagine being in pepper potts's position. She knew tony, the love of her life, the father of her child is dying right in front of her eyes and this is the last time she will be talking to him and whatever she says is the last thing tony will ever hear and she knows that in that moment tony can't speak but his eyes express his pain of not getting to be there for his family, that morgan won't have her dad around growing up and that pepper will have to raise her as a single mother and he had already thought of all of this before the mission but this is the moment and he can't seem to let go even though with every passing second he's drifting away even further and pepper has to exercise incredible emotional control and suppress her pain for tony and let him know that she will be okay and that morgan will be fine and that he saved everyone and he doesn't need to worry anymore, he can let go, he can die a hero, he can rest now. Pepper Potts is a hero for being not only an ironsuit wearing, ass kicking warrior mother but also for being the person who gave tony some hope and relief in his last moments even though she herself must have been dying inside.
