While studying an ancient holocron left to her by her master Chyaro Xalendren, Avani discovers many forgotten Force techniques inspiring her to relearn them, and ends up developing entirely new ones. Specifically a technique called "Light Shield” which is an evolution of Yoda's ability of resisting Force lightning.
With "Light Shield," Avani is able to generate a field of light through the Force, essentially creating a protective force field. It differs from the traditional "Force Barrier" as it not only blocks physical/tangible objects, but also prevents any Force-based attacks or influences from affecting those within the field.
MUTUALS!! I POSE A QUESTION
Do any of your Jedi/sith/force sensitive OCs have any special force abilities?

𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐈 𝐍𝐈𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐄
𝐏𝐀𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆: Arulmozhi Varman x Vanathi
𝐒𝐘𝐍𝐎𝐏𝐒𝐈𝐒: On the auspicious occasion of marriage of Nakkan Akkarmangaiyar, eldest daughter of Avani Sundarapurathu Deivar of Pazhuvur, Arulmozhi is confused why is he getting jealous of Kumaran Maravan- son of Avani Sundarapurathu Deivar when he's talking to Vanathi? Anyways, he can't talk to Vanathi.
𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐁𝐘: @zeherili-ankhein (a Diwali gift to you🪔)
Vanathi giggled.
Arulmozhi felt his eye twitch.
At Vanathi's giggle? No. Because of the yoing man who stood beside her right now, laughing heartily along with her.
The Pazhuvur Palace was lit up, decorated like a bride. And why not? It was the wedding of Akkarmangaiyar, eldest daughter of Avani Sundarapurathu Deivar, who was son of Chinna Pazhuvettaraiyar. The whole Royal Family were invited, along with all the Chieftains of allied Kingdoms.
Arulmozhi had known very well that the ties of familial connections ran deep between Pazhuvur and Kodumbalur like it did with Kodumbalur and Royal Family. Pazhuvur's Avani Sundarapurathu Deivar was married to the younger Sister of Irungolan Siriya Velar and Periya Velar Bhuthi Vikramakesari, named Chandravadhani. Chandravadhani bore two daughters and three sons to Avani Sundarapurathu Deivar, eldest being Akkarmangai, who was getting married.
But that wasn't bothering him. He had known Akkarmangai. The said Pazhuvur Princess, epitome of grace was around same age as his Anna Aditha Karikalan. Although not relatively close, the two had shared a good bond. The younger son Kumaran Maravan was two years younger than Arulmozhi himself— same age as Vanathi.
What bothered him was how Kumaran was making Vanathi laugh. What bothering him was how OPEN Vanathi was with him. What bothering him was that she was behaving same way with him just like she did with HIM. And why? He didn't knew.
'You don't love her, why bother?' a voice said tauntingly in his mind.
"Did you see them?" One of the Wife of Chieftains said. "See who?" The other asked.
"The Pazhuvur Prince and Kodumbalur Kula Vilakku."
"Ah, yes, are they courting each other?"
Arulmozhi's heart skipped a beat.
"I do not think so, or maybe they are. Isn't Arasi Chandravadhani Princess of Kodumbalur and Ilavarasi Vanathi's Athai?"
"Yes yes, maybe they will marry. Avani Sundarapurathu Deivar was a close friend of Siriya Velar. And I have heard lots of praises of Kodumbalur Vanathi from Periya Pirattiyar and Ilaiya Piratti."
"But isn't she betrothed to Arulmozhi Devan?"
"I do not think so. They weren't officially engaged. My Mandakini told me that Komagane doesn't really pay heed to them when he comes to meet Ilaiya Piratti." One of the other said.
"Ah yes, also, she's isn't born of Varaguna Perumanar. She's not his Murai Penn." The first one said off handedly.
As they continued talking, Arulmozhi felt his stomach drop further and further, and it was shown on his face. Aditha, having noticed, looked at him in concern. "Mozhi? Kanna? Are you fine? Why do you look green?" He asked confused.
When he got no answer, he followed his younger brother's gaze and it fell on Vanathi and Kumaran Maravan, and suddenly Everything clicked.
"Ah, they do look good together indeed." Aditha's words made him snap his head at his Anna. "What?" He asked, his voice hoarse. "Well, they look good." He said matter of factly. "Anna, what are you saying? They don't look good together." Arulmozhi denied.
Aditha leaned casually against a pillar, watching his younger brother with a knowing smirk. His eyes darted to the far side of the courtyard, where Vanathi was laughing with Kumaran Maravan, their conversation flowing with a warmness. Glancing back at Arulmozhi, he caught the way his brother’s gaze had narrowed, jaw tight as he watched them.
"But they indeed look well matched." Aditha mused, obviously egging his Kanna.
Arulmozhi shot him a warning look, but Aditha continued undeterred, a glint of amusement in his eyes. “You know, they’d make a fine pair—two bright young heirs, well-connected families. I’m sure everyone in the palace is already talking about it.”
“You’re exaggerating,” Arulmozhi replied tersely, but the tension in his voice betrayed him. “They’re just… cousins.”
“Cousins, yes. But isn’t that often how alliances begin?” Aditha chuckled, giving him a playful nudge. “Besides, look at the way they’re laughing together. She seems quite taken with him. And who could blame her? Kumaran is every bit the charming prince.”
Arulmozhi’s fists clenched, his patience fraying. Aditha leaned in, lowering his voice just enough. “Tell me, little brother… would it really bother you that much if Vanathi chose Kumaran?”
That was the last straw. Arulmozhi snapped, his voice sharp. “Enough, Anna!" He said eith a angry frown.
Aditha only laughed, his smirk widening as he took in Arulmozhi’s reaction. “Touched a nerve, have I?” he teased, crossing his arms. “It’s clear enough—you’d rather she be here, laughing with you, wouldn’t you?”
Arulmozhi turned away, jaw still set, trying to mask the frustration burning beneath his calm facade. “You don’t understand, Anna. This isn’t a game.”
“Isn’t it?” Aditha replied lightly, leaning back. “Then maybe you should make it clear to her before someone else does.”
Arulmozhi’s gaze drifted reluctantly back to Vanathi and Kumaran, tension tightening his chest. Was Aditha right?
.
Kumaran chuckled, eyes gleaming with mischief as he recounted the story to Vanathi. “So, Azhagi was preparing for her dance recital, all serious and focused. And, well, I may have told her that one of her anklets was missing.”
Vanathi’s laughter bubbled up, eyes bright with amusement. “Oh no, I can only imagine how furious she must have been!”
“You have no idea,” Kumaran grinned, shaking his head. “She turned every corner of the palace upside-down looking for it—her temper was as fierce as a storm. And of course, by the time she figured out I’d hidden it, I was halfway to the stables.”
They both laughed heartily, unaware of Arulmozhi’s silent gaze lingering on them from a distance. As Kumaran glanced over and he noticed Arulmozhi’s expression, a rare vulnerability beneath his usually composed face. A slow realization dawned on him: his friend, the reserved and ever-dutiful prince, was in love with Vanathi.
Just then, Thillaiazhagi appeared, tugging at Kumaran’s arm. “Anna, come quickly! Chinna Patta is asking for you,” she said, casting a warm smile at Vanathi. “Akka, you must tell him not to trouble me with his silly pranks!”
Kumaran chuckled, nodding. “Alright, alright, I’m coming.”
"Yes Chellame, now go. Chinna Pattanar must be waiting for you." Vanathi mused as she patted Azhagi's cheek. The Princess beamed and dragged her Anna away.
As Kumaran and Thillaiazhagi left, Vanathi’s laughter slowly faded, though the warmth lingered in her eyes. She turned, only to find Arulmozhi standing a few steps away, his gaze unreadable.
“Ilavarase,” she greeted, a gentle smile forming on her lips as her cheeks dusted. “Did you overhear our little tale of Kumaran’s mischief?”
Arulmozhi nodded, though his expression remained serious. “Yes, it seems he’s quite the charmer.”
Vanathi tilted her head, sensing something beneath his words. “You look troubled.” She said, her eyes roving over his troubled face. The tension in his brow was visible, and the tautness of his muscles too.
He hesitated, his voice softer than usual. “I just wanted to… remind you to be cautious, Vanathi. Not everyone is as they seem.”
Vanathi frowned, blinking. "What do you wish to say, Ponniyin Selvare?" She asked softly. Oh how he wished she'd call him Yaanai Paaga once again.
Arulmozhi decided to be blunt.
“You can’t talk to Ilavarasar Kumaran Maravan.”
Vanathi blinked, momentarily thrown by Arulmozhi’s abrupt tone. They stood alone in a secluded corner of the grand Pazhuvur Palace, where wedding festivities were underway, a lively hum of music and laughter filling the distant halls. Her gaze flicked up to his face, catching the unusual tension in his expression.
“Why can’t I speak to him?” she asked, tilting her head in confusion. “He’s…he’s my cousin. Surely there’s no harm in exchanging a few words?”
Arulmozhi hesitated, his jaw clenched as if fighting for the right response. “It’s… it’s not appropriate right now,” he said, choosing his words carefully. “There are things you don’t understand, Vanathi. It’s better if you just stay away from him.”
The reasoning sounded hollow, and Vanathi’s brows furrowed deeper. She had always known Kumaran to be respectful and considerate to everyone, his easy charm earning him friends across the kingdom. In fact, her own mother often spoke fondly of him, saying he carried himself with dignity beyond his years. Why, then, was Arulmozhi so intent on warning her against him?
“But, Ilavarase,” she insisted, a soft laugh escaping as she tried to lighten his mood. “What could possibly be the harm in a few words? Kumaran is my aunt’s son—he’s family.”
He looked away, visibly uncomfortable, rubbing the back of his neck as if hoping the right words would appear out of thin air. “Vanathi, there’s… there’s more to Kumaran than you know. He’s… let’s just say, he’s got a role to play. You can’t get tangled up in his affairs, even if he is family.”
His evasion only deepened her bewilderment. “Since when did you become so cryptic?” she asked, half-smiling in exasperation. “I’ve spoken to Ilavarasar Kumaran countless times, and there was never a problem. What’s changed now?”
Arulmozhi’s eyes flickered, the faintest hint of frustration creeping into his expression. “Things have changed, Vanathi. There are undercurrents you can’t see. Sometimes, even those close to us can be… involved in matters we aren’t meant to understand.”
She opened her mouth to argue but closed it just as quickly, an uneasy feeling settling over her. Why was Arulmozhi suddenly being so protective, so evasive? She trusted him, but his reluctance to explain made her feel like a child kept in the dark, shielded from truths she could just as easily understand.
“Ilavarase,” she said softly, trying to meet his eyes, “I’m not a stranger to the world we live in. You can tell me if there’s something more going on. I’d rather know the truth than be treated like I’m too delicate to handle it.”
He took a deep breath, looking torn, and for a moment, she thought he might actually tell her what was going on. But then he sighed, shaking his head with a faint smile. “It’s not about what you can handle, Vanathi. Some things are better left… unspoken. Please, just trust me.”
She felt a mix of frustration and concern simmering beneath her confusion. What was he so desperate to hide? And why did he look so determined to shield her from someone as kind as Kumaran?
Just as she was wondering, she caught his eyes. Something was amiss. The tightness in his muscles, his shallow breaths, the tension lines on his forehead, the erratic heartbeat which caused him to take rapid breaths...
She gasped softly when he huffed and grabbed her hand.
Arulmozhi was feeling his breath go awry when she questioned him, and he saw Kumaran coming to them. Vanathi, of course, couldn't see. It's now or never. He didn't wanted to lose her to Kumaran, or anyone in fact.
Vanathi was his Muraipenn, not of someone else. She was his Athai's daughter, she should be marrying him.
He suddenly grabbed her wrist and put her hand on his chest, watching how her cheeks turned red and breath shallowing. "Vanathi, I don't like seeing you with Ilavarasar Kumaran. I don't like how you laugh with him. I don't like how comfortable you are with him. I don't like you with him. You are my Muraipenn, he can't court you!" He exclaimed, an exasperated tone in end.
Vanathi stood shell shocked at the sudden confession, suddenly realising as her eyes widened. Her Ilavarasar, he liked her.
He liked her like she liked him.
He loved her.
"Do- do you-" She couldn't find right words, but her voice shook with emotions. "Vanathi, allow me to Court you.." He said softly.
Vanathi’s heart stilled, each beat suspended as Arulmozhi’s words sank in. Court you. The words lingered in the air, tender and vulnerable, as if he’d placed his heart right there between them, fragile and open.
She could barely breathe, her mind racing to catch up, but her emotions overwhelmed her. A warmth bloomed in her chest, spreading through her like sunlight, each corner of her heart filling with a joy she hadn’t dared to dream of. Her vision blurred, and she felt a tear slip down her cheek, her happiness spilling over in a way words couldn’t capture.
She searched his face, seeing his own hope and uncertainty mirrored in his gaze. He loved her—he truly did. All the quiet moments, the glances they’d shared, the protectiveness in his actions, all suddenly made sense, weaving into this one, perfect truth.
Unable to trust her voice, she nodded quickly, a soft smile trembling on her lips as her eyes sparkled. She didn’t need to say a word. The relief and joy on her face spoke for her, her expression telling him everything her heart had longed to say.
He smiled finally, like the sun rising over the hills that covered the Thanjai, the same she often crossed when she had to travel to Kodumbalur. She was finally his. Or maybe she had been his since long, but he was just stupid.
Kumaran suddenly jogged over to them, clearing his throat. "Hopefully I'm not interrupting you two?" Arulmozhi somehow pushed the frown on his face down, and he gave a tight smile. "Definitely not, Ilavarase." He smiled, his expressions tight.
"I'm glad, Komagane." He smiled and turned to Vanathi. "Amma is calling you. She says that it's time we take Mangai Akka to Mandapam, Akka." He said the last Akka with a certain pressure, staring at Arulmozhi.
It dawned on Arulmozhi suddenly that what he thought was between Vanathi and Kumaran was actually the Sibling Bond they had, considering they were really close and his neck flushed red. He was so stupid! His jealousy didn't let him see things other way!
Vanathi nodded with a smile, unaware of all this as she left for Chandravadhani. Arulmozhi watched her go, his eyes sharp as she turned her head coyly, and shyly smiled at him before scurrying away.

TavTash Tag Game made by @crystal-overdrive and inspired by @bearhugsandshrugs
I got tagged by @avani-telvanni and @yhmwatfhu I hope you will find it interesting!
I will accompany the article with my drawings, the full image of which you can find on my blog. 1. Tell us a bit about your Tav! Niaranda – chaotic neutral forest elf, rogue ranger. She is convinced not to use illithid abilities from the word. A self-willed adventurer. A girl with a very pragmatic mindset, likes to make cause-and-effect relationships and find logical explanations for something, is quite perceptive. In words, she is straightforward, honest and outspoken. Instead of lying outright (she hates lying), she will start to conceal and evade the answer. She likes to discuss various topics, often topics with deep meaning. This helps her to be filled with her new knowledge.
She lives for her own pleasure, an individualist. She is diligent, and easily does work with something small. She help those in need, if it does not bother her and does not contradict for plans. She is often motivated. There is always a choice, it is impossible to stay away as an observer. Niaranda is stubborn in her decisions and does not tolerate the indecision of others. She is not afraid to challenge. In rational thinking, fear is an interfering factors that prevent analysis. But she's not fearless. She still has that feeling, even though she's trying to control it.
2. What alignment is your Tav? How does that align or clash with Gortash? Do they agree with him morally? Niaranda is of the opinion that tyranny will always exist. The overthrow of one tyrant does not mean the arrival of another tyrant. There is no ideal world in which it would always be safe. But it is quite possible to stand on the strong side. In this case, Gortash turned out to be a strong point, and not the squad with whom she traveled.
Niaranda can tell Gortash that his plan is bullshit if she really thinks so, and she will believe it until he provides her with weighty arguments in opposition. It may happen that at some point she will resist the actions of the Chosen Bane's, and a conflict may arise against this background. However, Gortash is one of those who can control her.
3. What God does your Tav follow? Is Gortash's position as Bane's chosen an issue? Niaranda does not believe in any god directly. Faith often puts in certain frames, but a girl does not like to put herself in any kind of framework until she finds them useful for herself. Nevertheless, she observed the clergy and the dogmas of various gods a lot. Everyone has some kind of foothold that she can rely on in case of something. But Lathander turned out to be the most interesting in his desire to forget the defeats of the past and focus on the victories of the future. This also includes meeting problems face to face and rebirth as a metaphor. A new path, a fire that gives strength.
She does not consider the path of the Bainite, it is enough for her to be near them. Niaranda will always have time to swear allegiance to any of the gods. Rather, it is a matter of principle to remain with faith in oneself, to seek support within oneself. Of course, the power that the gods can give is a weighty argument to believe, but it also has consequences.
Niaranda finds it very curious that in places Enver is symbolized with the sun (for example, posters "Gortash to the Archdukes!" or the oath of union at the inauguration mentioning the roaring sun, symbols of the sun on Steel Watchers, and so on), but at the same time he is Bane's Chosen One. Without a direct belief in Lathander, Niaranda jokingly compares herself to a small ray of sunlight in pitch darkness. Two opposites. Sometimes it seems to her that there is a small ray of sunshine in the Gortash itself.
4. What did your Tav think of Gortash when they first met? Did they take his offer of an alliance? Throughout her journey, Niaranda had heard enough about Gortash and his atrocities. However, she did not expect him to offer her an alliance. She agreed rather forcibly, as his Steel Guards looked menacing and terrifying. At the same time, Niaranda admired how well Enver had built his power.
The clever insidious eyes, shaggy hairstyle and unflappable V-neck on the chest, which impressed the girl at the inauguration, were just the beginning of the girl looking at some things with a new look.
Later, she did not regret the alliance agreement, even when her companions wanted to thwart Gortash's plans, Niaranda convinced them not to do so. It seemed to her that she was playing a double game, not telling the squad anything about her decisions.
5. How did Gortash and your Tav get together? What do they see in each other?
The Illithid Colony What Niaranda sees: "A suspicious dangerous guy playing with his allies, he's clearly up to something bad, we need to stop him." Meeting at the inauguration What Niaranda sees: BREASTS "He is polite and courteous, but at the same time he looks so insidious and confident. He is an Archduke, although he achieved this dishonestly, a strong and prudent, natural leader. Damn it, he's good! I'll go after him." What Gortash sees: "She is quite stubborn and reasonable, she can turn out to be a strong ally. How far is she willing to go? I'll check it out." They both see that they need each other to cover the needs of their plans as well as their inner needs. And they can give it to each other.
6. What does the future hold for your Tav and Gortash? Are they in a relationship, a one time thing, are they going to rule the sword coast together or kill each other in a tragic showdown?
Situation #1: Tragic defeat. Gortash dies from a psionic shot to the head, Niaranda continues his work, but soon the same fate awaits her (yes, I know that the screenshot shows the scene with the transformation into an illithid, but just imagine that these black areas near the eyes are the result of the identical death of Gortash.).
Situation #2: The power of the Archduke. Niaranda has difficulty persuading the Emperor to ensure Gortash's survival at the brain. Gortash and the Emperor (a forced unwanted alliance), along with Niaranda and her squad, defeat the brain. Gortash kills the Emperor and takes the stones for himself, and Niaranda betrays her squad, becoming the right hand in ruling with Enver. He does not subordinate her, he will always have time to do this if his leash of influence on the girl suddenly breaks. Soon he realizes that the larva is useless without abilities, and removes it, making sure that the girl is faithful to him and their common cause. (THIS should be the canonical ending of Gortash, I think)
Situation #3: Revenge. Gortash is dying at the brain. Niaranda blames Bane for not helping Gortash in any way at the right moment. Six months have passed since the victory over the brain. Gale comes to the camp meeting in the form of the god of ambition and offers his beloved to become the goddess of any free domain (at the time of the plot of bg3, he does not know anything about her affair with Gortash). Niaranda chooses the domain of revenge, retribution, justice and becomes not a god equal to Gale, or Mystra, or Bane, but a demigod (at the time of writing the story, I learned that in stories, unfortunately, there already exists such a demigod named Hoar). Niaranda travels through Faerun, undermining Bane's churches, thereby weakening his power, in order to later visit Bane's outer plane, free Gortash from eternal torment. The girl returns all his equipment to Gortash and together they defeat Bane. Lord Enver Gortash becomes the new god of tyranny and discord. The oath made by the two of them at the inauguration is finally being fulfilled.
(it all looks so epic in my head, but I tried to briefly describe it)
Thank you for your attention, it was interesting for me to describe it!

Do you even miss him ? || j.Hughes PT.2
Social media au -
summary - you haven’t interacted with the Hughes after since Jack draft until recently when you returned to New Jersey for an event .
Ever since I moved to California the night of Jack draft , I haven’t been communicating with anyone in Michigan. My parents seemed to disown me respectfully understanding I guess ? More specifically I haven’t spoken to my best friend Luke neither Quinn . I stopped and changed my number afterwards when I arrived , I didn’t want to have communication with anyone back home especially Jack , why would I break him more if I answered his calls , his nonstop texts hurting us both . Anyways I have had a nonstop schedule with award shows, films to writing music for my albums . Most of my award winning songs were always about Jack but I never hinted at it due to fear fans finding out . Even though they probably knew who he was due to the NHL draft , my phone went off couple of time in the span of seconds knowing it was my publicist telling me my schedule for the next week .
S.P : you have been scheduled to hockey private event on May 2nd , 2022 in New Jersey you’ll be representing whatever hockey team you want . Xxx
that text put me in a moment of distress and disbelief, like was she joking or is she being serious that I have to attend a private hockey event ? and before my birthday really , I couldn’t even reply back due to shock , oh instead I immediately called Trevor Z yeah we kept in contact well he’s the only one who did everyone seems to cut me off . The phone was ringing a bit which was annoying since he always picks up fast . “Hey what’s going on Y/n?” As you hear him speak you sighed “I got chosen well invited to a private hockey event in NJ.” you whine telling him , you could hear him laughing at the other end but also worried knowing how it might end bad . few moments of silence you hear him laughing again “well I’m going if that helps you .” amusing as it was to him you were nervous “haha you’re so funny Trevor what a wonderful way to help me.” Trevor got serious again “ I can be honest here and ask why tf you would be invited to a event like that but I won’t ask , anyways all I can say is the whole Hughes clan is gonna be there so is …” Trevor paused not knowing what he was gonna say you asked “who else Trevor?” curiously wondering who is he talked about . “His girlfriend is gonna be there as well.” Your breathe halted for a second, not knowing what to say or really anything. You pushed your feelings away , “okay and what do you want me to do about that Trevor ?” Trevor seemed shocked when you even said that .. it wasn’t something he wanted to hear really , he always loved you and Jack together especially knowing you would always save him from Jack anger issues . “I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or honest?” Trevor says at the end of the line . You faked a good attitude to hide the hurt in your voice , after all you’re an actor for a reason . “I’m being honest Trevor I left to be where I am today I knew what would’ve happened the day I walked out of the room , ignoring his calls . I’m happy for him he deserves nothing but happiness..” you lied through your teeth knowing you’re not happy he moved on but it was your fault at the end still … Trevor brings you back to the conversation by breaking the silence “ anyways you wanna flight out together since you’re an hour drive away from me ? I can have you picked up on the 31st at 6:00 pm ?” you nodded “yeah sure just text me three days prior so I can mentally prepare myself for your annoyance .” you laughed as knowing Trevor was offended by that as he hung up on you .
||May 1 , 2022||
you arrived to NJ , few hours back it’s currently 4 pm , you were chilling in your hotel room with some friends you decided to bring along to hide the fact you’re gonna see your ex and his new girl tomorrow night. Vinnie , Jack , Jett and Avani became your closest friends ever since you met them in 2019 when you guys all stupidly decided to live together, becoming roommates with them was a nightmare in the beginning as we were all just new and awkward around each other . Hiding every time when someone when to the kitchen . Back to the topic yeah ever since we got here Trevor ran off to be with of course Hughes family , you didn’t really care as you had your publicists running you and your friends over on behavior and how to stay engaged with people for tomorrow night , since they’re all influencers it makes us our job easier knowing what to do and how to act . There always been a rumor about me dating Vinnie since we were always close together, I’ve been spending the holidays with his family for like 3 years now . His mom and dad became my parents , while Reginald became a little brother to me . But we never cleared up the rumors because it was useless , anyways we went out for dinner and came back the hotel to knock out early for tomorrow big event .
|| MAY 2, 2022||
next morning was so bad , we all struggled waking up on time , hung over and all . Jett sitting up staring out in oblivion asking me “do we really gotta get up this early .” as if I enjoyed it being awake at 9 am , I heard my phone dinging receiving a message from Jack and Trevor , curiously ignoring Jack message I looked at Trevor’s message.
T.Ziggurat : I’m excited for today but also terrified for you didn’t even have the guts to mention to them you’re appearance tonight . Okay bye im shit bent right now happy early birthday dukie 🤘🏼.
as always Trevor reminding you , the Hughes family will be there and not mentioning you to them seems cute as he protected you from the fact you probably would’ve had Luke up in your hotel room asking you too many questions , that you weren’t ready to answer yet . “Hey Y/n what should we do for you birthday since we close to NYC wanna head out there after all this?” You hear Lydia say while sitting to fix Avani nails , Lydia arrived this morning last minute as a surprise which made me think they’re all planning some wonky crazy party again this year for me . “ I don’t know what should we do ?” As the door rips open to Jack yelling “MAY THE 4th BE WITH YOU!!” laughing at the star war pun for your birthday.
Few hours passing
you were done getting ready, matching with Vinnie in Ami and the others wearing other designer brands they represented, fixing up as you head to the event . Sitting nervously looking out the window , voices of people around you sounding like water to you as you’re panicking when you arrived to the carpet . Vinnie opening the door for you , giving a slight smile towards you as while you’re thanking him “don’t be nervous if he looks at you ima make sure to eat him alive with my own eyes .” Vinnie says making you feel little better as you laugh at it off . Making it through the carpet posing and taking solo shots , you all make it inside , holding on for dear life as your feet started to hurt . Your publicist points at your table for everyone to be seated but you and Vinnie weren’t allowed to sit as you guys were being introduced to higher people in NHL , few people you have met before . The event was about to start when your team told you and Vinnie to make a speech on behalf of Ami sponsoring this event . you haven’t ran into any of the Hughes yet or Trevor yet whichever was a good sign to you . “Now I introduce you to the these two young duo who one have changed the music industry and acting industry as well with her young age making award winning movies and the other one having girls and guys swoon over him with his work and talent in gaming and fashion , both working and living together to achieve their dreams….. Let’s have Y/N and VINNIE HACKER up on here on behalf of Ami!!!” you laugh as you walk up the stairs to the stage and Vinnie helping you up , “thank you for having us tonight it’s a honor to be here for Ami and being in a room full of amazing people tonight.” You say ending your little speech as Vinnie about to start his speech , you look around to see your friends laughing and having a good time, cheering you both on . Corner of your eyes you can see the Hughes looking at you in awe mostly Luke and Quinn , Jack seems to shocked silently as he seems to be busy flirting with his girl , you’re ignoring eye contact with anyone else for the moment as your attention got brought back to you leaving the stage , handing the mic off to your publicist . Vinnie basically hiding you with his 6’1 built body from eyes of Jack as you both walk to your table sitting next to Avani , she came close to you whispering “I kinda wanna punch him they’re all staring too.” You smile as you tell her “ I hope they don’t come over here making me feel uncomfortable.” The whole night was actually great , you were having a good time talking with everyone around , Trevor giving you side eyes from the Hughes table making you feel bad for him being stuck there but it was his choice anyways . End of the event , you were about to head out when you felt a hand on your shoulder seeing a somewhat a 6 foot big foot towering over you , “damn when did you get taller.” You said to Luke looking at him dazed out , Ethan and everyone you used to go hang out at school with was behind him smiling at you awkwardly, Luke speaks up asking “you don’t even care to call me back even once I thought you were dead!” Luke silently yelling at you , feeling bad as you see Luke tearing up a little as he pulled you into a hug “ I missed you Y/N.” He says gripping on as if you’re a ghost . You smile a little “I’m sorry I left like that but I also lost your number sorry Lukester” . You lied a little bit not wanting him to know you didn’t wanna hurt him by telling the truth. “You know you have my Instagram right you could’ve contacted me there too !!” “I’m sorry really Luke.” he lets you go from the hug as the other boys came in to give you guys Ethan spoken up asking why you haven’t came home for summer break curiously . “I just been busy 24/7 I rarely get a break when I do I just sleep in maybe one day I’ll be back home one day …” you smiles at them awkwardly wanting to go back to your hotel room , Jett came to your rescue in the moment “Hey Y/N let’s go the car is waiting for us to go already.” You knew Jett was lying but you were glad to be saved -

Hello gorgeous!
Congrats on 1000 (you know you deserve it) and a happy birthday in advance (in case I forget to wish you on the day)! For your AMA, I wanna ask:
Do you think Elena and Elijah would make a good ship? Why/why not? Do you ship them? What do you think of Hayley? Your thoughts on Elijah with Gia? Gia or Hayley with Elijah?
(That's a lot. I AM expecting detailed answers 😉)
Have a nice day!
XOXO
Avani
Thank you lovely ♡ of course I'll be detailed!! I don't know how to keep things brief....
~♡~ Elejahhh.... such a popular ship, and I totally understand why... But it's just not my favorite.
~♡~ I think if they got together, it would be very boring. They would be so sickeningly nice to each other and no one would dare to challenge the other... there would never be any drama and where is the fun in that? It would be too tame and vanilla. I think that they are both more attracted to people who challenge them, like Damon.... and Damon... hehe
~♡~ I really love Haylijah, mostly because I think its the least toxic romantic relationship in the whole TVDU. I also just enjoy seeing how Elijah behaves when he is madly in love...{apparently its a lot of quiet pining}. I wish we could have seen more of their relationship developing, and their lives together. I wish they could have had a chance at a real family and a future, it would have been such a refreshing change to see an established couple, but the writers never give anyone the opportunity to develop past the angst.
~♡~ Ohh sweet Gia, I thought she was a perfect match for Elijah. I was very angry when the writers killed her off so quickly. She was a breath of fresh air who saw that Elijah desperately needed to create his own life and have his own identity. I appreciated that she wasn't jealous of Elijah's past with Hayley, she didn't care because she wanted him for who he was, and was determined to see him happy.
~♡~ Gia or Hayley is tough, because we get so little of Gia... I wish we could have seen their dynamic developed more, and seen her grow more as a vampire. I loved everything about Haylijah until season four, when she breaks up with him for the dumbest reason imaginable. Girlie gets a peek behind the red door and decides that's who he really is????? Whaaa??? Stupid.
Still...I'm going to go with Hayley, because that's who Elijah would choose, and like Gia, I just want him to be happy.

Reasons, part two of Time and Tines series Steve Rogers x villain!Reader
How could he be so stupid? You weren’t staring at him from across the room; you were watching your mark, waiting for an opening. Sadly, it occurs to Steve that if he’d just let you inject Avani, Bucky would be fine, here by his side, and safe. You are the threat, not his friend, but that’s a hard distinction. If anyone else sees James Barnes—who is the stealth assassin Winter Soldier, as far as they know—they’ll shoot. No questions. Steve has to find him first. He has to get to you first.
10 A.M., part one of Day Eighty-Three (It Had To Be You series) CEO!Steve Rogers x assistant!Reader
Noticeably, none of them chose either ‘head’ of the table. No one was willing to take a position of power equal to Steve in his own house. Your boyfriend seems to interpret this as acquiescence of some sort—proof that they’ll blindly respect what and who Steve himself respects,—and then Steve wrongly decides to gently run his hand the rest of the way down your arm, his fingers curling to lift your limb until the very last second. He made it look like you were reaching out for him, like you were a scared child in need of support. You are, in a sense, but he didn’t have to advertise it to these men. Steve doesn’t make mistakes. He did that on purpose. Maybe he meant to establish some sort of claim to you? To stop them objectifying you? Whatever they do now is solely out of respect or fear of him though, not you.
Watch the Fish, a roommates-to-lovers Jake Jensen x Reader
it's the cursor's fault that it hits the command to send the audio to his bluetooth headphones instead of mute
and he sets the headphones down on the keyboard, gnawing on his bottom lip and watching his closed bedroom door in anticipation of...getting caught, maybe? he's not sure
he watches the fish putter around like it's no big deal
which it isn't, right?
you're human. he's human. humans have urges. they touch themselves--they touch each other, too--and there's no harm in that. if anything...jake encourages it, or he would...if you knew that he knew about this

15 Lines of Dialogue Rules: Share 15 or fewer lines of dialogue from an OC, ideally lines that capture the character/personality/vibe of the OC. Bonus points for just using the dialogue without other details about the scene, but you're free to include those as well!
Thank you for the tag @bearlytolerant!!!
Ghoul looking badass as usual.
15 lines will be below the cut!
These are from a little bit of everything that contain Ghoul.
1. “No, I didn’t see how it was relevant” They responded trying to shut it down. 2. “What’s…what’s the strangest encounter that you’ve had?” Ghoul asked curiously. 3. “It doesn’t matter they are dead.” She said flatly as she pulled an olive sweater on that she had found and a pair of loose cargo pants. 4. “I don’t remember asking for homework to stay here.” She said in defense, and he let out a small chuckle before returning to his Leader of the Crimson Fleet persona. 5. “Welcome back. I am already feeling myself becoming less-.” Ghoul’s hands greedily ran up the sides of her curves and back down to her lovely thighs. “Lonely. Do I get a name for tonight or should I make one up?” 6. “The only pretty little thing is going to be your cock on the side of the street if you don't step the fuck back.” Ghoul growled as she parted her feet slightly trying to subtly reposition the weight of her body. 7. “I had it under control.” Ghoul said getting defensive and crossing her arms. 8. “Don’t ask questions you don’t want answer’s too.” Ghoul muttered with the same annoyance she had towards him earlier. 9. “Would you like to do the honors?” She invited him to a caged match with a playful smile. 10. “LET ME GO” Her voice was guttural and hoarse, from the rage and the dehydration. “I WANT TO FUCKING KILL THEM ALL! EVERY FUCKING PERSON OUT THERE!” 11. “You’re cool.” She said with finger guns held up and sounding a bit defeated at not being able to find normal words. 12. “I can’t do both?” She asked sarcastically before she just placed her head on his chest, surrendering to her original plan. 13. “4000 and if you can wear something pretty, I’ll dine you before I bend you over.” Her words were as smooth as the shot she was about to take. 14. “Fucking kill me already.” She said to herself with such boredom that it made the corner of her lips curve slightly. 15. “Are you fucking satisfied yet? Or do you want me to moan your name too?” Ghoul coughed out hoarsely and spit a bit of blood onto the floor.
Hopefully these are a window into her soul. A lot of these you can check out from my Masterpost that have links to my AO3 content.

no offence but even though you assign all your sims ethnicities through last names they all look the same: barely ethnic and tan... ur only sims who actually pass as asian are nadya's children, and avani. no hate but is ur legacy ever going to get more diverse? idk theyre all beauitful but sometimes it feels a little ridiculous seeing you farm out white passing offspring ... especially when araújo translates to white flowers - one of ur brazilian followers
i appreciate that you are bringing your point of view to my attention, especially regarding your subsequent ask about rocco having more eurocentric features, since i still find myself trying to unlearn my own ingrained colorist/eurocentric beauty standards brought on by imperialism/colonialism in my own culture. that’s something i’m going to have to continue working on. but to answer your question; yes, the plan for this legacy was always to have diverse succeeding heirs. just give it more time.
however, i really do not understand your allegations that avani & nadya’s twins are my only asian sims that pass as asian or that i "farm out" white-passing offspring. please explain that to me.

It Never Rains - Chapter 4: Past Bonds
Story summary: What was supposed to be a straightforward assassination turns into one of the most challenging bounties Crosshair has ever faced. Upon discovering that his target, Eudora Avani, was given an Andeladite stone by a fallen brother, he becomes determined to protect her and safeguard the treasure from falling into greedy syndicate hands. With a secret of its own, the stone becomes a race against time for Crosshair and Eudora as they set out to uncover its hidden knowledge and stay ahead of the bounty hunters pursuing them.
Word count: 3.2K | Warnings: Descriptions of war.
Chapter 3 | Chapter 5
Masterlist
-- -- -- -- --
Stretching on his tiptoes, Crosshair grumbled as he reached up and nudged his arm into the open ceiling hatch, wriggling to reach the wiring panel. It took him several attempts to jab the screwdriver tip into what he believed was the correct spot until he finally located the top screw. He poked his tongue out in concentration, rotating the tool until he heard a triumphant click.
He shifted to the opposite side and loosened the second. The protective plate swung down with a squeak. Unable to get a clear view of the inner wiring through the obstructing panel, he puckered his lips around the toothpick balanced between his teeth and spat the stick into the bin.
Onboard The Marauder, repairs had been a breeze. The more complex upgrades and replacements had been taken care of by Tech’s skilled expertise, leaving the rest of the team with the task of bringing spare parts or tools when they were needed. Alone, he bore all responsibilities, including the upkeep of his craft.
Seething under his breath, he flung the screwdriver into the toolbox on the console and pondered his choices. Although he owned cable cameras, the process of setting them up was tedious at best. And he didn’t have any way of getting up there.
From the open doorway into the cockpit, Eudora rested her arm on the frame, fascinated by the pensive sniper. He scoured his surroundings, the toe of his boot tapping out a steady beat on the ground.
“Carry on staring at the chair like that and it’ll combust,” she said, attempting to ease the crease on his forehead. It made no difference. All it did was redirect his unimpressed gaze to her. “I’m sure we can handle the repairs when we land.”
“With the landing gear connectors fried, that will be a challenge,” Crosshair informed her.
“Ah.”
“Yes. Ah.”
“What’s stopping you from fixing them?” Eudora asked as she took stock of the gap in the ceiling.
“That is,” Crosshair replied, prodding the lowered wiring plate. “I can’t see the cables with that in the way, but I have some cameras.”
“Move over, I’m smaller.” Eudora applied pressure on the control surface to test its stability and lifted her foot onto the side. Mindful of the buttons and levers, she pushed herself up and snatched hold of the corner of the opening to steady herself. After trying to haul herself into the gap, she peered at the sniper, fingers tapping his hips and an eyebrow arched, and gave him a sheepish grin. “Might need a bit of a boost.”
Despite his unruffled expression, Crosshair found the situation rather amusing. Leaving her dangling like a loth cat with its claws caught for a few more seconds, he cupped his hands for her to step into. “Keep your grip stable before I lift you up,” he instructed. “Ready? One. Two. Three.” On the third count, he elevated her and maintained his position until she had wriggled under the wiring hatch and clambered into the vents. “Are you all right up there?”
“Fine,” she answered, her voice reverberating through the network of overhead shafts. She lowered her hand and grabbed at thin air. “Pass me the screwdriver.”
Plucking the requested tool, he placed it into her waiting grasp. “How’s it looking?”
“I don’t know.”
“What do you mean you don’t know?”
“I’m trained to fix people, not ships. I can do basic repairs, but that’s about it.”
Crosshair heaved an exasperated sigh and pinched the bridge of his nose. There’s always a solution, he reminded himself. Be patient. “Then why did you want to climb up there if you have no clue what you’re doing?”
“Guide me,” Eudora said. “It’s a better option than you blindly poking about in the wiring.”
“What do you see?” Crosshair asked, deciding to play along, if only to hasten the completion of the vital repairs.
“Most of the wires look fine, but there’s some at the back that have snapped.”
“Blue ones?”
“By the looks of them.”
“Okay. That’s fairly simple to fix.” He collected extra tools and handed them up, together with the replacement lines. “The clips on the sides should be easy to remove, but use the mechanical hook to avoid accidentally hitting any of the others.”
“This one?”
A pale hand and a tool emerged from the opening above him.
“Yes,” he said. “Make sure the curve is positioned right underneath the clasp.”
With a small wiggle, Eudora thread the needle-thin device, and the fastener popped open.
“You got it?” Crosshair asked, tuning in to every slight sound.
“Yeah. Now what?”
“Clamp the connector into the wall and insert the new wire through it. It should clip into place on its own, and you can seal any gaps with the repair drops.”
Eudora followed to each instruction with surgical precision, angling further into the cable-filled chasm to secure the replacements. The shaft hummed, and she wondered whether it would have been wise to deactivate certain electronics beforehand.
For a fleeting second, she entertained the thought that his benevolent actions might have concealed ulterior motives. But he had gone to great lengths to get her off-world when leaving her there could have resolved the issue if his intent had been to steal the stone. Why would he endanger her now?
The wire clicked into position, and the noise jolted her back to her current predicament. “Got it,” she confirmed.
“Good. Do the same for the rest, but take your time with the last one. If you nudge the others, we’ll be replacing the lot.”
“No pressure then,” she joked, anticipating a scoff or a witty remark in return. Waiting and getting nothing in response, she opted for some light conversation to alleviate her discomfort. “That rifle you carry, it’s a Firepuncher, right? 773?”
“It is,” he answered. “How do you know that?”
“A girl can have her hobbies, can’t she?”
Crosshair smirked at that and settled against the navigation console. “It seems like you heavily depend on clone techniques during your fights,” he noted, debating whether or not to bring up the topic and ultimately choosing to satisfy his curiosity on the matter.
Finishing up the second cable, Eudora halted. Naturally, he would notice her combat style. It was foolish of her to assume otherwise. “The war brought thousands of clones to Cressina,” she said, scrunching her nose as she manoeuvred a tricky wire between the narrow hole in the clamp. “As with any conflict, injuries occurred and, given the challenging conditions of landing and taking off in storms, many were abandoned and presumed dead by their superiors. My aunt and I offered them a place to stay and supported their recovery. In return, they gave me some training. I think they wanted some way to express their thanks, and since they had nothing other than their skills, they taught me how to defend myself. I appreciated it more than they realised.”
“And Knox was one of them?” Crosshair guessed.
“He was. Needed some time to get back on his feet. Almost didn’t make it. He stayed with us for a long while and helped in defending Cressina on multiple occasions.” The task became simpler with each wire she installed, and she gained a newfound sense of self-assurance after successfully repairing the first few. It wasn’t too different to healing people. The right tools. A steady hand. A salve to soothe the process.
The ship took gradual, deliberate breaths, reassuring her as she laboured to fix it.
“Just before he left, he handed over the stone and promised to return for it once the war was over,” she went on, slowing to secure the final cable. The moment it connected, a gentle shudder passed through the bottom of the craft, accompanied by the contented whir of her success. “I never found out what happened to him, but I like to think that he’s still out there.” Glancing down at the clone waiting for her, her optimism waned. The pain in his eyes confirmed her worst suspicions.
“Knox was killed shortly after the fall of the Republic,” Crosshair told her, sombre and sympathetic to her grief. “He chose not to obey the commands of the Empire. You can imagine the consequences he faced.”
Eudora’s breath stuck to the glob in her throat, and she raised her knees to her chest, hunching over in the confined space. Tears dampened her cheeks, and she hastily brushed them aside, but she couldn’t erase the hollow, painful void in her rib cage.
Deep down in her gut, she had accepted the unlikelihood of his survival. Had he lived, he would have returned for the stone. Each time she considered it, she held onto the hope that he had been delayed, that there would come a day when she’d spot him making his way along the track between the lonely fields of medicinal flowers.
“He was in breach of a lot of rules, fraternising with you,” Crosshair mentioned, into the sniffle-filled quiet.
“It was never like that,” Eudora insisted. She motivated herself to start moving and descended from the hatch, allowing him to assist her in returning to the grated floor.
The heartbreak in her eyes betrayed her words, but the sniper decided not to push the matter. What would be the point? Knox was gone, and deceiving her would not help. He only wished the news had been delivered by a kinder messenger than him.
Swallowing her grief to deal with later, she unlatched the Andeladite stone from around her neck and extended it out to him. “Take it,” she told him when he hesitated. “If other bounty hunters are searching for it, I can’t handle them on my own. It’ll be safer with you.”
“Who said you’re on your own?”
Eudora’s eyes widened, and she tentatively retracted the offer at the sincerity in his voice, cradling stone close.
“You weren’t the only one Knox taught. He helped train my brothers and I when we were cadets,” Crosshair explained. Among the limited number of joyful recollections from his early life, he clung to the memory of Knox’s guidance. “We were not the most obedient at that age due to our deviant nature, but he was patient. He shared valuable techniques with us that saved our skin over the years, so I owe him. Even if it is keeping the last piece of him safe from bounty hunters and syndicate collectors until we have a plan.”
Eudora nodded, but he doubted she fully grasped the enormity of her situation. How could she? She came from a modest planet, and while she had witnessed her fair share of the war, there were far more terrible horrors out there.
“A word of warning,” he advised, as she fastened the band and tucked the stone into her shirt. “The longer you carry it, the more vulnerable you are. Once it turns into a competition, there will be no stopping the hunting guilds.”
* * *
Given that a mere a rotation ago, she had been tending to her flowers and organising her inventory for the coming months, Eudora coped with her current predicament well. She demonstrated composed self-control, kept a level head when it mattered, and resisted the overwhelming urge to scream, despite being fully justified in doing so.
But her skull rattled with a jumble of racing thoughts, each one more frantic than the last, and her stomach plummeted whenever she considered she was now the target of ruthless bounty hunters. Knox’s fate had been sealed, there was no longer any hope of his return, and it was likely that her home and all her family’s work would be taken by the Imperials once they learned of her absence.
She forced herself to admit that she was not managing as effectively as she believed. All that dread and panic festered quietly, escalating in sporadic waves as she took stock of her surroundings and delved too deep into her thoughts.
Outside the front windows, streaks of vibrant blue whizzed past as they hurtled through hyperspace, carrying her to remote territories and away from home. While she watched the luminous, neon sea, she wondered whether it housed anything living or if it was solely a travel network to connect the galaxy. Until now, she had only ventured from her homeworld for short periods, and her travels had never taken her beyond the nearby planets.
A sickening roil rocked her soul when it dawned on her she might never see Cressina again. Never stroll down the riverside in the evening as the drifting sun bathed the water in gold or savour the fragrance of silver pines in the morning.
Startled by the muffled whoosh, she rubbed at her eyes and shuffled upright.
Crosshair balanced two trays of sizzling meat skewers and an assortment of vegetables on his arm and set them onto the surface between the chairs. “Grab whatever you want,” he assured her. “I’m sure you must be hungry.”
“Honestly, it never crossed my mind until now,” she confessed, picking up a small plate and a loaded wooden skewer. The smoky scent triggered her appetite, and she indulged in a hefty mouthful. A drop of oil slipped down her chin and she mopped it up with the back of her hand.
Settling into the pilot seat beside her, Crosshair helped himself to some of the food, loading his plate with grilled vegetables and chunks of meat. As she pinched some potatoes, he observed the faint, white streaks on her bicep. Some were clean slices, but others rounded out and splayed like spidery splatters. He’d recognise those marks anywhere. “Looks as though gardening can be as risky as war,” he remarked, gesturing to her upper arm with an empty skewer stick at her confusion.
“Oh,” she responded, the sound snagging as her glance darted to the scars that unquestionably were not the result of caring for medicinal shrubs. “They’re, um… they’re from trouble I got myself into with Separatists who were suitably armed.”
I bet, Crosshair thought, but refrained from speaking aloud. He discerned a hidden defiance beneath Eudora’s outward pleasantness, a rebellious spirit that made him curious as to what had driven her to such anger she had lashed out and suffered harm. For someone who nurtured flowers with a gentle hand to resort to raising it to strike, it must have been something devastating. The longer he reflected, the more he warded off the idea of contemplating it. The war had exposed him to enough brutalities to understand what she endured.
“These are delicious,” Eudora said as she finished a second skewer.
“It was the best thing I had in,” Crosshair replied, picking at his own meal. “I rarely have guests.”
Despite the sparkle of jest in his eyes, the humour failed to reach his voice, hooking in his throat and refusing to go any further.
“I doubt any bounty hunter has the time or inclination for entertaining,” she mused.
“Some prefer solitude, but others thrive in a party. When they’ve got the credits, the company arrives without needing to be invited.”
“I always thought they enjoyed being alone. That it was safer for them that way.”
“Depends on the hunter and their confidence in their skills.”
Much of Eudora’s isolated life had left her dependent on rumours rather than fact, but the war altered that. The conflict had brought the galaxy to her doorstep, exposing her to not only unimaginable violence but also to the lives beyond her atmosphere. Through the clones unlucky enough to end up trapped on her remote world, she acquired a great deal of knowledge and understanding, and in her efforts to survive and defend her loved ones, she had relinquished her naivety and opened herself to painful truths.
“How did you get into bounty hunting?” she asked. “On Cressina, we were told that the clone army would continue to serve under the new Empire.”
“Not out of choice,” Crosshair muttered, the response tumbling from him with little time to process it. “In the beginning, there were many who were assigned the task of training incoming troopers, but some of my brothers grew aware of the Empire’s true nature and made plans to escape. Those who were successful have been seeking to rescue others, and those who weren’t… it doesn’t exactly need saying.”
Knox. Although the name hurt, Eudora remained resolute in cherishing her fond memories of him.
“Have you had enough food?” Crosshair said, wishing to abandon the subject swiftly and collecting the empty trays and plates into a neat pile.
“Yes, thank you.”
Meeting her modest, appreciative smile with an understanding look, he shoved the tableware out of the way to clean up later.
Most people in his position would have probably confined her to the cargo bay until they could abandon her on a distant planet, but he took extra measures to ensure her comfort. Whatever Knox’s involvement in aiding his brothers, it was more than training and imparting a few tricks. She doubted all his targets got this treatment.
“You can rest in the bunk while you’re travelling with me,” he offered. “It’s not very comfortable, but neither is most of this ship.”
“But where would you sleep?”
“Here.”
“In that chair?” At the small, affirmative hum, she shook her head. Before she could utter a word in argument, he raised a finger to silence her.
“Don’t argue,” he told her. “I settle better here, and you could probably do with some sleep.”
She couldn’t deny that. After filling her stomach, her muscles craved rest and her eyelids begged for slumber, but it didn’t feel right to let the man who had helped her make himself uncomfortable on his own ship.
“Okay, wait here,” she said.
Crosshair went to ask her what she was doing, but she was already out of her seat, her footsteps pattering as she disappeared into the depths of the hull. He listened to the squeak of hinges, the ruffle of fabric, and the soft clack of cupboards shutting. Upon her return, she presented him with a couple of blankets.
“I came across these while searching for towels,” she said, setting her own sleeping arrangements on the co-pilot chair. She snuggled into the fleecy cocoon and swivelled to him. He clutched the folded stack of bedding as though he was holding a jar of alien goo. “I can stay in here with you. You shouldn’t be alone.”
She nearly managed to elicit a genuine smile from the sniper, but his ingrained suspicion prevented any trace of acknowledgment from appearing on his face. Smiles he saved for his family, for those he trusted, and while Eudora posed no threat, she remained a stranger. In his experience, strangers often brought trouble, and this healer trailed plenty of it.
“You would get on well with my sister,” he commented, storing the covers at the base of the console.
Feeling a chill from the air conditioning unit, Eudora tightened the blanket around her shoulders and sank into the padding of the seat. “You have a sister?”
“She’s quite stubborn too, especially when it comes to looking after me.”
“If we make it through this, maybe I’ll get the chance to meet her.”
“That’s all I need,” Crosshair grumbled with a weary, playful edge. “Two relentless forces in my life.”

1, 9, 10 and 15 for the ask game!
1: Recommend your favourite fic ever.
well, that's one hell of a question! perhaps the only must-read for doctor who is Time v.3.0 by Teyke, a haunting and terrifying fic about the time war. nonetheless, it is not necessarily my favourite fic... i honestly don't know what that is. In Due Time We Shall Reap by Thascalos is beyond explicit, but, well, formative influences (aka 'that thing you read over and over again at A Certain Age') are formative influences whether or not you want them to be, i suppose. don't bury me by petroltogo is haunting.
as far as humour goes, The Grand Sci-Fi Fuckathon of Hitler and Stalin by yonderdarling is the funniest thing i've ever read. yes, really... don't drink whilst you read it. runners-up for Funniest are: How Now, Brown Monkey by Liadt and The King of Tallstoria by the_alchemist. all i can really say, i suppose, is don't give medieval kings candy crush.
it's unfinished, but i'm currently putting The Red Rose of York by medieval_scribe up there. Like Gods by Ade. Continuitas by skazka. Mary on a cross by Neolina_W. thou child of my right hand by heartofstanding. (shattering! i am not sure at this point that i am capable of identifying a favourite piece!) Periapsides by avani. No Indifferent Judge by edwardianspinsteraunt. sincerest apologies if you have not, for some strange reason, whiled away the hours haunted by baldwin iv.
of comfort and despair by damnedscribblingwoman is definitely an all-time favourite, and i really mean it this time.
anyway, here is the actual answer: Queenmaker by La Reine Noire (lareinenoire). delightfully fucked up.
9: Recommend a fic from your first fandom.
Le Donne Che Piangono (The Weeping Women) – The ‘Thrice Cursed’ Remix by aralias. The Boy Who Killed Time by Netgirl_y2k. , said the nightmare by patrexes. Burn Your Biographies by JaneTurenne. (i promise these are categorised. they really are.)
The Chronicles of The Oakdean-Smiths by PinkPunk010. Any Port Manteau In A Storm by yonderdarling. (actually, i recommend all their works, along with MayFairy. speaking of...) The Definition Of Trouble by evilqueenofgallifrey (MayFairy). probably not quite so good as i remember it, but the only good execution of 'twelve/missy lovechild' i've seen, so...
17 Reasons Why Romana Is Better Than The Doctor by calapine.
Girl in Every Port by tree_and_leaf. No Sacrifice: the What Are We Doing In Love? Remix by hhertzof. A Life Full of Compromises by paranoidangel. read the old stuff. it usually pays off.
did this say 'a fic'? suddenly i can't read.
10: Recommend a fic from your latest fandom!
What Twisted Webs We Weave by The_Purple_Opossum. obviously.
15: Recommend a gen fic!
Thick Skull by thehappybones. both sweet and inventive

Character List
From Shork we have:
Vera The dimension’s highest god, a (generally) chill shapeshifter who has a bit of a crazy side. She’s existed since practically the beginning of the timeline, only being younger than two cosmic beings.
Dungeoneer 4 A massive, draconic, yet humanoid creature from the Dragon’s Nest. A highly trained mage and alchemist. The smallest of 6 dragonesses at an insane 45 feet of height.
Dungeoneer 5 The largest of the dragons at a staggering 60 foot height. She’s known for a very specific incident that happened a year or so ago involving a baby, seventeen pounds of TNT, and a blender.
LXVI A spectral entity from the void, decently well known in the dimension for streaming games with his brother and two friends.
Puppeteer Shork Once a manipulator of fate, he takes control of characters, puppeteering them, earning him his title. Kind of known for being a survivor of the Puppeteer Genocide
Terror One of the spookier ghosts, Terror is known for her insane acts of skill with archery, and professional assassinations. Part of a quintet, with four other assassins who will be added to the blog later
Avani A cluster of seven different Avali minds in one body. Each form gives a different mind control of the body, but they all use their senses at once.
Flame Your average human, with a small bit of fire magic. He stays at home to avoid the world’s chaos, but it doesn’t always work.
From Memory:
CO Headless From: Undetrials [HARD MODE] Job: Second in command of the royal guard. Description: One that takes his job seriously, CO Headless [Chief Officer Headless] is the sans of Undertrials HARD MODE, a sub timeline of Undertrials, which is an undertale AU.
Shadow From: SRPS Job: Top ghost Description: This inky black ghost was artificially made… and ended up being suicidal, but now in the afterlife he’s stuck in a haunted mansion with a bunch of chaos
GG Charlie From: GG Job: Unlicensed doctor Description: A German who’s personality was inspired by Medic from TF2, this Unlicensed doctor will heal all your wounds, and also steal your liver
From Darkness:
Rei The highest god from an alternate universe, Rei has a short fuse and a lot of power. It's best not to get on his bad side, because you will end up erased.
333 The all-knowing god that doesn't exist, 333's past is not one commonly talked about. Ask him whatever, you're guaranteed to get the right answer.
Darkness The personification of both life and death, this being has bad memories, although not nearly as bad as the consequences of getting too close to him.
From Clocked:
AURio A black rabbit that survived the deletion of everything, and finally can catch a break.
Orio(+7 Souls) A goat-sheep hybrid(Geep) that has 7 souls on tow with him, and also a god.
Sunset: Brazilian wolf goddess with ADHD go zoomies.
Glitchy A skeleton child who was made of scrapped code and stuck alone, found and adopted by Orio (YES HE'S A SANS AU BY TECHNICALITY.)
And from donuts, who forced me to include this:
just a normal robot¿? named R.A.M.

It’s been a while since Ravi feels blocked in his career. No promotions have been given to him in a long time and he keeps wondering why. The answer to his questions was Avani.
Avani Parikh: work nemesis, arrived at the same time as him, the same age, no kids and she impressed the boss recently with a revolutionary article about an underwater restaurant.
Ravi tried everything to get her out of his path to glory but each of his plans were useless. Now it’s time to try one last plan, the final plan ! : Inviting Avani for dinner and … talking to her (ewww!).
Everything went well (except Avani’s outfit) and Ravi discovered that Avani is actually a sims with feelings and a great personality. Well, who would have thought?
Since then, their relationship at work is better and Ravi obtained a few promotions…
