1) Austria 2021

The weekend was not off to a good start, and that’s what caused you to drop everything to go to Austria. Qualifying did not go the best for Arthur, but where he qualified left him with a great opportunity for points, starting in fourth place. 

You should have listened to your gut when it said something was going to happen this weekend. Instead, you were at work when Lorenzo called you, saying that Arthur had been gone off the track and had to retire early, and he was beating himself up over it.

You told your supervisor that you needed to head out and that you would do work remotely for the remainder of the weekend and probably the next week. They let you go without a hitch, so you were on the next flight out.

When you landed, Race 2 was just about to start. Lorenzo came and picked you up, taking you to the track and into the Prema garage. Arthur was starting down in 27th place. He was already in the car doing the formation lap, so after greeting most of the team, you asked if you could wish him luck over the radio. Thankfully enough, Rene was there and let you use his headset, but told you to make it quick.

“Bonjour mon amour (Hello my love),” You said as soon as you had the headset on. “Bonne chance, je t’aime (Good luck, I love you).”

“Wait, what are you doing here, mon beau (my beauty)? I thought you had work,” he responded immediately as he pulled around one of the last corners.

“Came to surprise you, but I need you to focus on the race now,” You replied with a small, shy smile as the team was listening in on the conversation. “I want you to do what you do best. You’ve got this.”

2) Silverstone 2022

At the beginning of the week, you were not sure if you would be able to make it to Silverstone in time for the feature race. Nothing seemed to line up, so you had told Arthur you would not be able to make it.

However, it seemed like the world was working for you when everything you had to do worked itself out by Thursday night. The weekend shifts that you could not find coverage for were canceled due to overstaffing, your assignments’ due dates were pushed back another weekend, and flights just went on sale. It just seemed like everything was working for you.

Immediately, you got on the first flight out Friday morning to London. Just before taking off, you texted Lorenzo, knowing that Arthur was most likely in his practice or qualifying session. You sent Lorenzo your flight info quickly before shutting off your phone for takeoff. 

Landing in London, it did not take you long to meet up with Lorenzo since you only packed a carry-on. You were able to get right off the plane and meet up with Lorenzo in arrivals. He took you back to the rental car and you stopped off to get food before arriving in the F1 paddock where Arthur was hanging out with Charles in between races

You saw him standing against the doorway of Charles’s room with his race suit tied around his waist. You walked up behind him, immediately wrapping your arms around his waist as you hid your face in his shoulders. Arthur stopped talking abruptly, confused at who was hugging him until he turned around and saw your familiar hair color against his chest.

“You said you had work, liar,” Arthur gasped as he lifted you and held you against his body.

“What happened to ‘hello’ or ‘how are you’ or ‘I missed you’?” You laughed once he finally set you down. You leaned in to place a small kiss on his lips before whispering, “I couldn’t miss this. I always try my best to support you.”

3) Australia 2023

You recently got a new job that would allow you to travel with Arthur, but he didn’t know about it yet. It was only finalized it on the Tuesday before the race. You were hired by Ferrari to be their social media coordinator for their academy drivers specifically, and it was a ticket to follow him around for the season.

You had flown with him to Australia for the race, but you told him in advance that you would need to be doing work during the weekend. You told Arthur that morning that you had an early morning meeting which was not a lie, but he did not know it was at the track. By the time Arthur arrived at the track for prerace, you had already gotten acquainted with everyone and were in a grove. 

You two didn’t actually run into each other for a while because you were following Fred around, listening to everything he wanted from you before actually getting on with your job. About halfway through the day, Arthur wanted to call you, but he was pulled into a meeting before he could actually dial your number. 

Upon arriving in the Ferrari garage, Arthur sat next to Ollie off to the side. They were told it was a basic meeting to go over a new social media plan. The last thing Arthur expected was to see you walk in beside Fred. 

His eyes grew wide as his jaw dropped, causing Ollie to chuckle beside him. “Don’t you have a significant other?” Ollie whispered to Arthur. The man in question just ignored his friend.

You looked around the room, almost immediately making eye contact with Arthur. A wide smile spread across your lips as you waved shyly at him.

“Everybody this is Y/n,” Fred introduced you, “They will be working with the academy drivers for their social media.”

Needless to say, when Arthur got his maiden F2 podium, the fans could definitely tell who was your favorite driver.

4) Monaco 2023

It was his home race in his own backyard. How could you not attend? Not only did you love the atmosphere of the Monaco Grand Prix, but it was his first time racing in his home country. Let alone, down the street from his house!

The F2 race had started a few minutes ago, and you were on your way back to the F2 paddock. You had run a little long with Dino’s post-race pictures, so you weren’t there for the start of Arthur’s race. You felt horrible.

You felt your heart sink when you heard the clashing of metal and the gasping of spectators. You glanced up at the big screen, and the one car you did not want to see was shown losing control and crashing into the barriers. It was the Dams number 12, Arthur.

You and Arthur would jokingly poke fun at the Monaco Curse, as Charles referred to it, but you never thought it would affect Arthur. It’s times like this when you really wish you never made those jokes in the first place. You unintentionally manifested this. 

By the time Arthur got back to the garage, you had an icepack at the ready. Despite him already having stopped by the medic tent, you knew that an icepack wouldn’t hurt. Especially with how hard the impact was, his head was bound to hurt.

You stood in the back of the garage, updating the FDA social media as you waited for him. When he did, he immediately put his helmet to the side, giving you a sad smile as he approached you. You looked back at him, offering an encouraging smile in return as you opened your arms for him. Arthur did not need to be told twice as he collapsed in your arms as soon as the space was available. You ran one hand up and down his back as you kissed his temple held that was already forming a bruise before holding the icepack to it gently.

“You don’t have to say anything right now,” you whispered as you twirled some of the hairs at the nape of his neck, knowing it calmed him down, “Just know, I am so incredibly proud of you. You did amazing while you were out there, and trust me, next year, you’ll come back stronger.”

+1) Las Vegas 2023

Being from Las Vegas meant that you wanted to attend the grand prix that was taking place in your backyard. Despite not actually racing in it, Arthur was planning on going anyway to support Charles, so you convinced them to bring you along as a tour guide of sorts. 

That being said, they all knew you were coming. There was nothing to surprise anyone with. At least, that’s what you thought. Arthur decided it was his turn to surprise you. He did not have all of the specifics settled, but he knew for certain that he wanted to propose to you.

It was Friday afternoon, and despite being on the track until 5 that morning, you still dragged Arthur out of the hotel by 2 to explore. You knew for certain you wanted to take him for slushies and to your favorite place to people-watch: Fashion Show Mall.

“It is way too early to get drunk,” Arthur laughed as he took a drink of the large slushie you two were sharing as you walked hand-in-hand through the streets of Sin City. “And this is comically big.”

“1, that's what she said. 2, it's not that high in alcohol percent. 3, we’re sharing it. And 4, it’s never too early to get drunk when you’re not the one driving,” you chuckled as you pulled him up the rainbow stairs to the top level. There was a grass patch that you loved to sit on while growing up, and it was the perfect spot to overlook the entire city. “This is basically where I grew up. I didn’t have many friends, but I would watch everyone from up here after school. It’s a nice view as long as you don’t look straight down.”

He followed you to the grass and jokingly fell beside you with his head in your lap when you sat down. He smiled up at you, causing you to chuckle, as he held your hand in his. 

“Your hand is cold,” He whispered.

“I’ve been holding the slushie since Elvis Presley Boulevard,” you joked, “I wonder why?”

“I can warm it up,” He joked back as he took your hand in both of his as he placed small kisses along your knuckles. You closed your eyes and threw your head back as you laughed at his antics until you felt a foreign object being slid onto your finger. You looked down at Arthur to see him smiling smugly up at you as you noticed the object was a ring, and Arthur had placed it on your left ring finger. “I’ve been trying to find the words, but I couldn’t wait any longer. Mon amour, you are my best friend and you have been by my side for as long as I can remember. You always surprise me, so I thought it was my turn. Will you marry me?”

“You’re crazy, Arthur,” you cried as you hid your face behind your right hand, your left hand still being held tightly by Arthur. His face dropped, thinking you were turning him down, but before he could try to remove the ring, you continued, “You’re crazy for thinking I would say anything but yes!”

Bonus scene: Average screen time

“Your screen time is more than five hours,” Olli Calwell read off as part of the challenge they were doing for the Prema Racing YouTube channel. It was a little game to see who uses social media more.

“I know, I check mine every day. I have a problem,” Paul laughed as he pulled out his phone immediately. Arthur looked off to the side where you were sitting as he chuckled, knowing his screen time was through the roof because of the Facetime calls you do every weekend. 

“Mine is 13 hours,” Arthur spoke up. Both Olli and Paul’s eyes grew wide in shock as they snapped over to him, questioning if that was really his average. “Yes, look!” Arthur spins his body around to show the other two his screen time as you also lean forward a bit to see, and he’s right. It was 13 hours on average, causing you to laugh to yourself.

“Are you okay?” Olli asked and that’s what broke your cover. The fans heard you laughing in the background of the video and immediately spammed the comments asking about you. That’s when you decided to go public with Arthur.

"Spa is always fucked," is all Lando says on Wednesday. Oscar knows it's fucked, of course he knows, but he doesn't say anything. He just grunts and nods, and then they're filming another TikTok, both their smiles as bright as they are fake.

Oscar really just wants to sleep properly.

Mark frowns at him worriedly, and he never reminds Oscar of his dad more. "You can't take anything," he says apologetically. "It'll fuck with your training."

"I know. It's okay," he replies, even though it really isn't, and Mark pats him on the shoulder. It's enough to give him a boost of, if not really energy, than at least the will to push through another day of sim and obligations.

It's not a big deal, that's the thing. Sometimes he sleeps a lot, and sometimes he doesn't sleep at all, and it's been that way his whole life. He doesn't like ot but he has to live with it, which has been his philosophy ever since he was old enough to figure out what a life philosophy means. Oscar is used to it, and he's used to working around it so nobody notices. Mark has to know because he's his manager, and his trainers have to know because they're responsible for his fitness, and the bosses have to know because he is their investment, but as for the rest, nobody knows. He makes an image out of his sleepy, stoic countenance, and it's fast becoming a meme since his transfer to F1. The Prema video of him sleeping helped, especially with Robert playing it up, so it's okay. Nobody else needs to know.

Arthur takes one look at him in the paddock in Hungary and figures it out. He doesn't say anything, not with Fred and Ollie and Jack close, all chatting together, but his small frown is clue enough for Oscar.

The biggeat giveaway is the text message he gets not ten minutes after he says goodbye to the F2 guys.

Oscar stares at the message for too long. Lando intercepts him on the way to the hospitality and he uses that as an excuse not to even open Arthur's message.

He qualifies fourth. He finishes the race fifth. The celebrations in the McLaren garage are so wonderful, he thinks he will be able to sleep.

He doesn't sleep. He doesn't open the message either.

Arthur doesn't text again.

"Do you think it will rain?" he asks nobody in particular on Thursday. He doesn't even know why he does it; it's stuoid of him. He doesn't remember what he was thinking about, waiting for his group to get to the press, and he hopes nobody heard him.

"Probably. But you'll be fine, Oscar."

He turns his head to the left and it's Charles. Of course it's Charles, with his tiny smile that is painfully familiar, and his cheekbones that look like Oscar almost remembers underneath his fingers, and the voice that sounds out his name in a way that makes Oscar feel three times more tired than he already is.

He hasn't slept properly since Austria. He doesn't think he'll sleep this week, either.

"I... yeah," is all he says. "Thanks."

Charles tilts his head and it's clear to Oscar that he knows - something. It makes Oscar want to throw up, because nobody can know. Nobody needs to know, and if Arthur told...

Charles' smile softens and he heasitates only briefly before he says "You should come visit us in Monaco again. Arthur would like that," and before Oscar can figure out if he's more relieved or mortified by the implications, Lewis joins them, distracting Charles quite thoroughly.

Oscar tries to listen, but his head is too full and he is too tired and he needs to be aware for the interview, so when Max offers him the Red Bull as a joke, he drinks as much of it as he can stomach.

He isn't going to sleep anyway.

He's laying in his bed and it's almost Friday and he has to drive tomorrow and there's a knock on his door.

It's a perfunctionary one because his door opens in the next moment, and he knows those shoulders and that hair and that sillouethe. He knows how it is to be pressed into the bed by that body, and that's exactly what happens not a minute later.

Oscar is tired and there is no light in the room and his eyes are too heavy and Arthur still smells the same and Oscar would know the feel of him anywhere.

"I don't -"

"Shut up," Arthur says, and Oscar is glad he can't see his face in the dark because he sounds angry and wrecked, "shut up, Oscar." Oscar feels him swallow. "It's Spa. I'm not letting you - not in Spa."

Oscar is so tired, tired of not sleeping and tired of resisting and just tired. He drags his palm over Arthur's back slowly until his fingers tangle in Arthur's hair. It feels different when he washes out the gel. Oscar's heartbeat is too slow. Arthur's is too fast.

He falls asleep before he can finish saying "I'm sorry" properly.

Cinema Tropical Announces the Best Latin American and U.S. Latinx Films of 2022

        Cinema Tropical, the non-profit media arts organization that is leading presenter of Latin American cinema in the United States, is proud to announce its annual list of Best Latin American Films of the Year, comprised of 25 Latin American titles from twelve different countries, plus five U.S. Latinx productions—all of them by female directors—that the New York-based organization has selected as the best of the year.

     Featuring productions from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, the United States, and Venezuela, the films selected in this list will compete for the 13th Annual Cinema Tropical Awards.

     The winners for Best Film, Best Director, Best First Film, and Best U.S. Latinx Film, will be announced in an in-person event on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Film at Lincoln Center in New York City.

    A jury composed of programmer Cecilia Barrionuevo, former Artistic Director of the Mar del Plata Film Festival; Andrea Picard, Senior Curator at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF); José Rodriguez, Programmer at the Tribeca Film Festival; and filmmaker Dominga Sotomayor (Too Late to Die Young); will choose the winners of the 13th Annual Cinema Tropical Awards in the Latin American cinema category.

     Filmmaker Rodrigo Reyes (499, Sansón and Me); Ximena Amescua, Manager of Artist Programs at Firelight Media; and film programmer and producer Virginia Westover, will select the winner in the U.S. Latinx category.

         Please note that all the films under consideration had a minimum of 60 minutes in length and premiered between May 1, 2021, and April 30, 2022.

Announcements In Australia

In which Juliette and Max journey to the 2023 Australian GP, Julia's first race of the season, and some big news is shared among their grid family.

The first thing Juliette registers when they get off their jet in Melbourne is how warm it is, she's been to Australia twice now, but she'll never quite get used to it. But, she's here with the love of her life, and a stunning ring on her finger. The proposal was just wonderful, by the fire of their ski chalet in Austria. She had no idea it was coming, but was so excited to say yes. Max has gifted her quite a bit of jewellery since they got together in 2020, but this one definitely takes the cake. As yet, only heir families know about their engagement. Max holds her hand as they enter the main airport, and get their visas checked, as well as getting their stuff checked. ''Nice ring, wedding bells on the horizon?'' The security man asks.

Max nods, beaming with excitement and pride. ''Yeah, we can't wait.'' Juliette says, nodding in agreement. ''We're so happy to be finally doing this, we've known each other for so long.''

They grab their bags, and head out to their rental car. Max opens Julia's door for her like the gentleman he has always been, she gets in and buckles up. Max hops in after her, and they drive off to the hotel together.

After unpacking in their suite, they grab lunch, and head down to the paddock. The race is in five days' time, and already everything is set up to perfection. They walk up to the McLaren garage, Lando instantly perks up to see them. ''Well, if it isn't the best couple on the grid. Wanna do a track walk with us and the Alpha Tauri guys?''

Max nods, and says. ''Yeah, of course.''

Juliette asks her fiance, fiddling with the ring, inspired by Princess Grace's ring. ''Shouldn't we wait for Checo though, amour?''

Daniel joins them, clapping Max on the shoulder, and kissing Julia's cheek like always. ''He doesn't get here until tonight.''

Oscar surfaces from talking to someone, he pegs the glimmering diamonds first. ''Oh, wow, what is that?''

Max decides to take this one himself, kissing Juliette on the head. ''Well, Juliette and I are getting married, we've been engaged since winter break.''

Yuki finally turns up. ''Our very own royal wedding, about time really.'' Juliette laughs. ''Yeah, our inner teenagers are probably jumping for joy right now.''

The group go for their track walk, Albert Park is one of the deceptive tracks, it looks so easy when you look at the track layout, no real inclines or chicanes. But, it's tight, and there are a few spots where things can get difficult. Juliette has went on track walks with Max ever since Hungary 2021, to calm her anxious mind after that God awful Silverstone crash. She'll never forget that day, the day when the world stopped spinning, the days she thought she'd lose him. ''So, no crashes this weekend?'' She anxiously asks.

Max puts his hand on her back, he knows her better than anyone on this Earth does. ''No, liefje, no crashes.'' Juliette nods, leaning into his side as they come back into the pit lane. ''Good, because I'm not marrying anyone else.''

As they return to the hospitality area for some dinner, George and Alex come to join them with Carmen and Lily. Lily clocks the ring, it's kind of hard not to really. ''Oh, my God, good eye for rings, Max.'' George adds. ''Charles just told us.'' Juliette rolls her eyes, of course her brother told them.

Media day is on the thursday, so it's interviews, little games with Checo, and the press conference with Zhou, Charles, Oscar, and Fernando. After some questions about the upcoming race, a journalist from Nine News asks Charles and Max. ''For Charles and Max, how are you two feeling about becoming brothers soon? Do you think it'll affect how you race in the future?''

Max takes the question first. ''No, not really, I think we'll be family off track, and rivals on track still. But, yeah, I'm very excited to join the family.''

Charles laughs, agreeing with his future brother-in-law. ''Yeah, it's cool to be combining our families, and I am so happy for Max and Julia, no one deserves this like they do. But, we're still rivals.''

Someone from CNN asks Max. ''Max, just a question about you and Juliette. When did you know she was the one for you?'' Max takes a moment to think back in time, over all his memories of them as friends and as lovers. ''Probably sometime in 2016, I can't describe it, but when you know, you know, I guess. She's just... my everything, and has been for a long time.''

Press over for the day, they go to hang out in hospitality for a while before track review.

Free practice is on friday, the couple head down to the paddock for breakfast with the others, then go to Max's motorhome so he can get ready for practice. Juliette watches as her fiance changes into his fireproofs, and takes his racing suit from the hanger. So many people online poke fun at Max for his lack of fashion sense while she co-owns a design house. But, as far as she's concerned, this is the sexiest he ever looks. All geared up for the thing he is so good at. Max gets his boots on, and asks her. ''You okay, schatje?''

Juliette snaps from her little reverie. ''Y-yeah, I just got zoned out, that's all.'' Max raises an eyebrow at her, for them this can mean one of two things, so he asks. ''Good zoning out, or bad zoning out?'' Juliette runs her hands up his biceps, his hands locking together at the small of her back. ''Good zoning out.''

Max looks intrigued by that. ''Care to share, Julia?'' Juliette feels her face warming up. ''Just thinking about how hot you always look in your racing gear, that's all.''

Max's head tilts a slight, not taken aback, but surprised. ''Really? My racing gear of all things?''

Juliette flirts, tracing the Tag-Heuer logo on his chest with her index finger. ''Is there anything weird about that, amour?'' Max leans down to kiss her on the lips. ''Absolutely not.''

They head down to the garage, GP briefs Max on some strategy for saturday and sunday, and goes to the pit wall. Max grabs his balaclava and helmet, and kisses his lovely fiancee before heading out to Rocky. Juliette watches his laps on the TV screen, it never gets old, even since his days in Karting and F3, the sensation of watching her man doing what he does better than anyone else does. She turns her engagement ring on her finger, now fully used to the new weight on her left hand, her inner sixteen year old must feel like she fell asleep that sunday night in Barcelona, and all of this is some entirely too tempting dream. But, it's not, and there's so much more to come still. Juliette pulls her sketchbook and pencil case out, and begins designing her wedding dress, and his tuxedo. It's only right that Vita Luxuria dresses their wedding.

Max gets done with FP1, so they have some time between sessions. ''What are you drawing, liefje?''

Juliette smirks, putting her stuff away. ''Something for the wedding, I'll show you the sketches when they're done.''

FP2 is next, Juliette goes to grab something to eat and gets back on with her sketches in the Red Bull Lounge where it's quieter but she can still see the pit stop. After FP3, they head back to his room, and Max quickly showers and changes. They meet up with Checo, who gives Juliette a friendly kiss on the cheek. ''Good to see you, hermanita. Good to have you back.''

Juliette smiles, she's always gotten on really well with Max's team mates, from Carlos to Checo. ''Good to be back, ministro. How are the family?''

Checo says, smiling brightly. ''Good, they'll be with us for Miami.'' Juliette beams. ''Oh, good! I'll be there too! I'm going to: Miami, Monaco, Spain, Austria, Silverstone, and Spa this side of summer.''

Carlos jumps in, hugging Julia from behind. ''You always come to Montmelo, mariposa.''

Juliette says, smoothing down her dress again. ''Well, it is a very important race for us.''

Max says, an idea written across his handsome face. ''Why not rock up to Zandvoort married, schatje? We have almost a month between Spa and Zandvoort, plenty of time, right?'' Juliette nods, he's read her mind again. ''That's exactly what I was thinking! Have the wedding during summer break.''

Fernando says. ''Well, I suppose we're all clearing the schedules, eh?'' Oh, God, what have they unleashed upon the grid this time?

Max is to start on pole for Sunday, which is an afternoon race. Max and Juliette arrive for the drivers parade, then, it's down to real business. The race itself is chaos incarnate, though. Lance forcing Charles off the track during the formation lap, triggering a red flag and safety car. Juliette's heart aches for her big brother, he's been so down on himself lately, and she hates to see him trudging back to the Ferrari garage like that. ''Oh, Charlie.'' She sighs, turning her ring on her finger.

On lap seven, Alex spins out of control and crashes as well, causing another safety car while they clean up and assess Alex. First her brother, now Alex, who next? Max is in the lead by lap 18, when George's car catches fire, triggering a virtual safety car. ''Mon dieu, what is going on here?'' Juliette asks.

Callum, one of Max's pit crew, laughs as he says. ''The race is haunted, Julia.''

Juliette jokes back, she's always loved the atmosphere in the Red Bull paddock, Ferrari has always been just a bit too tense for her. ''That would explain it, Callum.''

Max gives her a brief scare when he goes onto the grass on lap 46. No matter how many years pass, even after a million race wins and 20 years of marriage, Copse will always linger in her head. Kevin's car breaking apart on him triggers yet another restart. Which goes pear shaped really quickly as both Alpines, Nyck, and Logan all crash out on turn one. And, another red flag is called. ''Come on, Max, I wanna finish designing your wedding suit.'' Juliette says, fiddling with her water bottle. The final lap begins under the safety car, which guides Max home to his first race win in Australia. Lewis takes silver, Fernando takes bronze. Juliette watches him take his place at the head of the podium, before trophies, he is briefly interviewed. He's asked. ''Now, Max, this is your first race with your lovely fiancee present, anything to say to her?''

Max beams, the crowd erupts into applause. ''Uhm, yeah. Julia, mijn schatje, thank you for saying 'yes' firstly. Uhm, I love you so much you have no idea, this would not be possible without you, and I cannot wait for summer already.'' He blows her a kiss, she places her left hand on her chest, blinking tears away. ''Ik houd van je, Juliette Leclerc.'' Juliette beams up at him while he receives his medal and trophy, he never fails to make her happy. She can only hope she's doing the same for him, she must be doing something right.

That night, they collapse into bed together, exhausted from the longest race day they've ever had together. Sometimes, the best celebration is relaxation. Max's eyes flutter closed, he looks so soft now, stripped of his racing finery, Juliette says, kissing him on the forehead. ''Je t'aime, mon vainqueur.'' He dozes off to sleep, Juliette curls into his side, the silver and gold plate forgotten on the sofa for now.

They arrive back in Monaco on the tuesday, Max ready for some rest at home before Baku. Jimmy and Sassy rub up against their legs when they come through the door. Juliette bends down to pet their cats. ''Bonjour, notre anges.''

As if by cue, Julia's cavachon, her beloved Luna, runs into the foyer. Tail wagging like crazy to see her maman and papa home. ''We've missed you too, Luna.'' Max says, it took her ages to convince him to take Luna from her friend and co-worker Daphne after her Bichon and her husband's Cavalier King Charles Spaniel had a litter late last year. But, little Luna has been a much beloved addition to the family. ''We're home, guys.'' They ditch their bags, kick their shoes off, pick their pets up, and crash on the sofa with some Peaky Blinders. Baku won't be calling Max east until the 26th of April, so, they can relax for a few weeks. Juliette returns to work tomorrow, but that's also a labour of love for her, and always has been. Max and Julia steal a glance at each other, his blue eyes to her hazel, he lovingly kisses her on the lips. ''Ready to become Mrs Verstappen? In the summer?'' He asks.

The surname issue has been a no-brainer for her since she could put a name to why Max makes her feel what he does. ''Oh, yeah, I've been ready for a long time, amour.'' His sister has her husband's name, his mother kept hers. And, there will be four Mrs Leclercs running around someday, so, she wants to be Juliette Verstappen. ''Since Barcelona 2020.''

Some part of her will never quite get used to this, this being her real life and not something she dreamed up while with her ex. But, here they are. Australia down, Baku next.

To which Verstappen replied that Hamilton was only complaining because he was no longer winning. The spat started ahead of Sunday's Austrian Grand Prix, Red Bull's home grand prix, as Hamilton outlined his plan to delay the world champions' development of their 2024 car. He said: 'Red Bull are already focusing on next year because they're so far ahead and don't need to change this year's car. 'So the FIA should set a time when everyone is allowed to start developing next year's car.  'Say August 1, so that no one can get an advantage, because that sucks.' 'It needs to change because what we have now is why you get dominance for so long, and they keep allowing it to happen.  'Ferrari were ahead and the same thing happened there, the same with Red Bull and Seb (Vettel) back in the day. 'They start earlier so they are always ahead.' Neutral observers would agree with Hamilton that any whiff of a threat to Red Bull's dominance would enliven a one-sided contest, after Verstappen has established a 69-point lead this season over team-mate Sergio Perez by winning six of the eight races so far. The Dutchman is well on his way to a third consecutive world title, though it should be pointed out he is driving at peak power. Not being a neutral observer, Verstappen retorted: 'We were not talking about this when he was winning his championships, right, so I don't think we should now. The pair's most famous clash came during and after the infamous Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in 2021 'That is how Formula One works. When you have a competitive car it is great, but at some point you have to look ahead to the following year. 'A lot of things in life are unfair. You just have to deal with it.' McLaren's Lando Norris, meanwhile, was recently burgled while on a three-day holiday in Marbella. The 23-year-old Briton confirmed he was out having dinner with friends when the thieves struck, adding: 'They took some expensive things, some not so expensive things.' I don’t think Kelly is going to Austria, she seems to be flying now and Max is streaming tomorrow for Redline so obviously he will fly to Austria on Thursday, like he does for every European race/// someone posted somewhere i can't remember where that her bff Maria was supposed to get married around these dates back in 2021 but it was rescheduled so she might be heading to the wedding, she had a civil marriage but she just had the bachelorette so the wedding might be coming up

Majd Abdel Hamid est un artiste palestinien. Il est né à Damas en 1988 et vit actuellement entre Beyrouth et Paris. Il est diplômé de l'Académie d'art de Malmö (2010) et de l'Académie internationale d'art en Palestine (2007-2009). Il a produit des installations et des vidéos et, depuis une dizaine d’années, il a surtout réinvesti des artisanats dits traditionnels, comme la broderie et le point de croix, afin de figurer les conflits ultra-contemporains avec lesquels il vit. Il travaille les tensions entre le temps de l’actualité et le temps de la fabrication matérielle de ses pièces, qu’il appelle des « sculptures de longue durée », auxquelles il consacre des centaines d’heures. Majd Abdel Hamid dit vouloir fabriquer de la beauté malgré ou contre l’horreur politique. Des expositions monographiques lui ont été consacrées : Muscle Memory au Centre d'Art Contemporain de Glasgow  (2022) ; 800 meters and a corridor, gb agency, Paris (2022) ; A Stitch in Time, Fondation d'Entreprise Hermès, Bruxelles (2021). Son travail a été présenté dans de nombreuses expositions collectives, dont Memory Sews Together Events That Hadn't Previously Met, Sharjah Art Museum, Sharjah ; Splendid Isolation, SMAK, Ghent ; La Beauté du Diable, Frac Franche-Comté, Besançon (2022) ; Répare, Reprise, Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris, (2021) ; Heartbreak, Ruya Maps, Venise et Touché !, Beirut Art Center, Beyrouth, (2019) ; à Krognoshuset Lund en Suède (2016), à IVAM (Valence) et au Centre culturel Halil Saakini en Palestine (2018). Il a participé à plusieurs résidences et ateliers internationaux, notamment March Project (Sharjah Art Foundation, 2015), Former West (Berlin 2013) et Truth is Concrete (Graz, 2012). Majd Abdel Hamid est actuellement en résidence à la Cité Internationale des Arts (où il a déjà été résident, en 2009).

[EN] Majd Abdel Hamid is a Palestinian artist, born in 1988 in Damascus; he currently lives between Beirut and Paris. He studied at the Palestine Academy of Art from 2007 to 2009 and graduated from the Malmö Academy of Art in 2010.

Hamid is currently in in residence at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, where he was a resident in 2009.
