You thought the Baker's reaction to your pregnancy would be worse. However, when both you and Marcus signed the words while simultaneously voicing that you were pregnant, they both wore a look of shock on their face, Max sitting on the couch with a wide grin. She practically threw herself at you and Marcus, pulling you both into a tight embrace.
“Oh my god, I-I don’t know what to say…” Ellen murmured, causing you to slightly frown, and Marcus to squeeze your hand in reassurance. Clint signed, “Well, at least I’ll be a young Grandpa,” He chuckled. Which caused a slight smile to grow on your face. “I wouldn’t say that this is the most ideal time for a baby, seeing as you both are so young, but just know you have our support, in whatever you choose to do. Being a grandma doesn’t sound too bad, the baby can call me Glamma!” Ellen began to ramble.
After you had told them your decision, they let you know that they’d be there for both of you, every step of the way. You felt the weight being lifted from your shoulders, pulling Marcus into a hug. You knew that you still had a long way to go, and you’d have to figure out how to raise a baby, where to raise your baby, and a lot more, albeit you had Marcus and he had you.
。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚
You woke up due to nausea causing you to run to your bathroom, and fill the toilet with vomit. You felt a hand holding your hair in a makeshift ponytail, another on your back, rubbing soothingly. You knew immediately that it was your mother. Her presence seemingly relaxed you. “It’s okay, baby, let it out,” She murmured gently, her voice slightly rough due to the fact that she had just woken up.
Once you were done spilling your guts, you pulled away from the toilet, the horrid smell of vomit hitting your nose, causing you to once again reach for the toilet. After you were finished, you slammed the toilet lid shut, leaning your head against it, a sigh escaping your lips.
You sat there for a moment, before getting up, your mother helping you up, you quickly rinsed your mouth with mouthwash, following it up by brushing your teeth, as you tried to rid yourself of the taste of bile.
“Come on, why don’t you go get some more rest, darlin’,” Your mom ushered you to your room, tucking you into bed before placing a kiss on your head. You smiled at her before turning to face the window. You reached for your phone, debating on texting Marcus. However, when you saw that it was 4:30 am, you decided against it, not wanting to wake him up. You gazed out your window as you tried to go back to sleep. However, you couldn’t, you tossed and turned, the moonlight shining in your room, seeing as it was still dark out. Suddenly your window was thrown open, and a figure fell onto the wooden flooring of your room. You immediately sat up, slightly frightened before you heard the slight murmur of a “Shit,”.
You turned your bedside lamp on, “Marcus?” You questioned the boy, “What are you doing here?” You gazed at him curiously. “Georgia told me you were up because of morning sickness, so I thought I’d come over, not only because she practically threatened me but because I wanted to see how you and the baby are doing.” He tiredly smiled, eyes slightly drooping.
A gargantuan smile broke out on your face, a giggle escaping your lips, before you patted your bed, so he’d come to lay with you. “You didn’t have to come over, but thank you. And excluding the morning sickness, we’re doing just fine.” You responded, your hand finding its way to your flat stomach, which would soon be not-so-flat with a baby bump. Marcus placed his own hand atop yours, “I know, but I wanted to,” He grinned, before gently placing a chaste kiss on your lips.
His hands found your waist, pulling you impossibly closer to him, cuddling you. “I can’t believe we’re having a baby.” He murmured. “I know,” You said, laying your head in the crook of his neck, breathing in his familiar, comforting scent, you let out a sigh. “What’s wrong?” He questioned. “Nothing, it’s just… I’m just kinda nervous about the appointment tomorrow- well, technically today.”
One of his hands left your waist, placing it atop your head. “Everything’s gonna go great, we’ve nothing to worry about, alright?”
“I know, I think it’s just cause, y’know it’s our first appointment…”
“Yeah, well let’s get some more sleep, everything’s gonna be okay, promise.” He smiled, before placing another kiss on your lips, causing you to smile against his lips. You pulled away, turning to shut off your bedside lamp. Out of the corner of his eye, your night light caught Marcus’s attention. He refrained from shutting it off, even though it slightly bothered him because he knew the gradual change of colors helped lull you to sleep, and you and the baby were the most important things in his life.
Marcus had drifted slightly away from you throughout the night- morning, which woke you up not even an hour later. You let out a whine, turning to find him practically at the edge of the bed, you scooted closer to him wrapping an arm and leg around his waist, the contact instantly relaxing you allowing you to drift off to sleep once again.
Marcus had gotten up a while before you, at around 9:30. Your doctor's appointment was at 12:30, so he figured he’d let you rest for another hour, while he went downstairs to make you a good, nutritional breakfast for you and the baby. He looked online and discovered that he should make you oatmeal, and decided he’d pair it with your favorite fruit and juice. Marcus placed your breakfast on a bed tray, making his way upstairs to your room, before running into Ginny and Austin. “Hey, I made some oatmeal, you guys can go ahead and get some, while I give this to your sister,” They both nodded in response, a small smile on their faces, Austin saying thanks.
Marcus opened the door to your room, placing the bed tray with your nutritious breakfast at the foot of the bed. He made his way toward you, gently rubbing your shoulder to wake you. “Princess, wake up I made you breakfast.” He gently voiced in an attempt to get you up. You grumbled slightly in your sleep, nuzzling your head closer to his hand. “Come on baby, it’s time to get up and eat, we gotta get you ready for your appointment,” He kissed your cheek, caressing the other one. You stirred, eyes slightly opening. Your eyes met Marcus’s brown ones staring at you with nothing but love and pure adoration, a small grin grew on your face.
“Hi, bub.”
“Morning, princess, you sleep well?” He laughed.
“Mhmm, amazing with you beside me.” You smiled at him, leaning forward to press a gentle kiss to his lips. You stayed like that for a moment, as he returned the kiss, before quickly pulling away, nausea once again rising in you. “Oh god,” You murmured, getting up and making your way to the bathroom as fast as you could. Marcus was quick on your toes, as you lifted the toilet lid and threw up. Marcus gently held your hair away from your face, caressing your back.
You pulled away, throat and back aching. “I’m so done with this morning sickness,” You groaned out. “I wish I could make it stop.” Marcus said, to which you responded with, “It’s okay, it’ll all be worth it,” You smiled at him. You went through the process of cleaning your teeth and mouth of the taste of vomit, before pulling Marcus into a tight hug. “I love you. Thank you for being here for me and the baby.”
“It’s the very least, the minimum I should be doing, you don’t have to thank me, bub.” He replied, arms around your waist. “By the way, I made you oatmeal, so you and the baby can eat before we head to your appointment.” This caused you to smile at his thoughtfulness.
“It’s the very least, the minimum, I should be doing, you don’t have to thank me, bub. After all, you didn’t impregnate yourself.” He replied with a grin, arms around your waist. “By the way, I made you oatmeal, so you and bub can eat before we head to your appointment.” This caused you to smile at his thoughtfulness.
“Thank you, love, we appreciate you so much,” You said, your hand gently caressing your stomach which would soon have a bump, a sign of your healthily growing baby.
“Don’t thank me anymore, I’m just doing my part in making sure you and our baby are taken care of,” He insisted.
“Thank you,” You stubbornly insisted, a giggle escaping your lips. Marcus was about to lecture you once again before you shut him up with a kiss.
Marcus returned the kiss, as he pulled you closer to him, both of you melting into the adulation-filled kiss.
He pulled away, a whimper escaping your lips as you chased his own. “One more kiss, please?” You whined.
“You’re lucky you’re so cute.” He muttered, allowing you to press your lips against his own once again.
Once again, you eagerly kissed him, before he pulled away. “Alright, no more kisses until you eat your breakfast, sweetheart.”
“Fine,” you sighed dramatically.
Marcus guided you back to bed where your bowl of oatmeal sat on the breakfast tray, along with your favorite juice.
“Come on, baby, eat your oatmeal before it gets cold or else I’m gonna feed it to you myself.”
You sat down, stubbornly crossing your arms, “I was gonna eat it, but because you said that, now you get to feed it to me yourself.”
He sat in front of you a laugh escaping his lips, “Fine by me,” He responded.
Marcus grabbed the spoon scooping oatmeal into it before lifting it to your lips. As you were about to eat the oatmeal, Marcus moved his hand, oatmeal getting smeared on your nose.
“Oops, I didn’t mean to do that, love, I’m sorry.” Marcus let out a quiet laugh at the pout on your lips.
“I think I deserve another kiss as compensation,” You murmured, Marcus giving into your wants as per usual.
。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚
Once you finished your oatmeal, you and Marcus got ready to go to your ultrasound. You insisted on doing your makeup because you wanted to look good to see your baby for the first time.
“Love, you already look amazing,”
“I know, but I wanna look even more amazing,” You said with a small grin.
“Alright, do you want me to braid your hair for you, while you do your makeup?”
“Pretty please,”
Marcus had been practicing braiding your hair, along with doing other styles as well, because he refused to be one of those dads that didn’t know how to style their daughter's hair.
Marcus nodded, standing behind you, “Alright, what do you want, French, Dutch?”
(A/N: I think you can dutch braid most hair types like curly, wavy, straight, and really tight curls, so I decided to keep this part in, if you have really short hair I guess this might not apply to you sorry! Imagine whatever braid/style you want!)
“You choose, baby,”
He decided on doing two Dutch braids, liking the way you looked with them. “And… done!” He said tying the end of the braid with a hair tie. “How do they look?”
“Wow, they look really good, bub, thank you,” You smiled at him, looking at the practically perfectly done braids.
“Your welcome, love, are you ready now?”
“Yup,”
“Alright, let’s start heading downstairs.”
You both made your way downstairs, running into Austin and Ginny in the living room, ever since you booked your ultrasound, they’d been begging to go with you and Marcus, and you just couldn’t say no to them.
“You guys ready?” You questioned them, and they both jumped up practically buzzing with excitement as soon as they heard your voice. “Yeah, we’ve been waiting for you two to hurry up!” Ginny exclaimed. “Alright… where’s Mom?” You asked. “Dunno,” Austin shrugged.
You let out a small sigh, before calling out for Georgia. “I’m comin’!”
“Mom, we gotta go before we're late!” You called back. You heard footsteps on the stairs, before your mom, Georgia, appeared on the landing looking extra as ever, as per usual. Suddenly Max barged in, “Oh my gosh, guys, this is it, is everyone ready?! I’m so excited, let’s go, go!”
Max and Ginny ended up riding with Georgia, and Austin insisted on riding with you and Marcus.
。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚
Everyone sat cramped in the small appointment room, with you sitting on the examination table, Marcus holding your hand, as he stood next to you. Everyone was talking about everything and nothing at all at the same time, however, as soon as the ultrasound tech walked in everyone went silent.
“Wow, it looks like we have a party in here!” She laughed, in an attempt to break the silence.
“Yeah, everyone really wanted to come with us.” You replied, giving a small smile to the woman.
“Well, it’s no problem at all, now, why don’t we get started? I assume you’re the father?” She gestured to Marcus, this prompted Max to pipe in, “Oh him? That’s so funny!” She laughed, “No, no, I’m the father.” She nodded seriously causing you to giggle quietly.
“Oh, uh…alright, we do get a lot of interesting couples in here.” The woman chuckled awkwardly.
“She-she’s kidding that’s- I’m the father.” Marcus nodded.
“Oh, okay…” She quietly answered.
“Alright, if you could just lay down for me, and lift your shirt a little just to expose your stomach, so I can apply the gel.” You nodded, doing as she said.
“Okay, it’s gonna feel a little cold,” She murmured before she applied the gel, “Now, this just helps the machine produce a clearer image as well as sound,” You slightly shivered as the cool gel met your skin.
(A/N: Idk what I’m saying tbh, just go with it…)
“Alrighty,” She grabbed the ultrasound probe, placing it on the skin where the gel had just been placed, “This can take a few moments to produce an image of the fetus,” She explained, moving the probe back and forth.
You simply nodded, as everyone intensely gazed at the ultrasound screen, just waiting for something to pop up. “So, it looks like you’re around 10 weeks pregnant, does that sound about right?”
You and Marcus nodded before she continued on, “So, because this is your first pregnancy, your bump can take a while to start showing, but you should start showing at around 12 weeks,”
“Now, I can’t seem to find- ah, there they are, oh my-”
“What, i-is something wrong?” You blurted out, beginning to sit up, worry immediately filling you as you gazed at the image displayed on the screen of the machine, Marcus’s grip on your hand tightened.
“Oh, no, no, nothing like that honey, it’s just- congratulations, you’re having twins!” She grinned.
“Twins?” Everyone exclaimed.
“Oh my god, we're having twins,” Marcus exclaimed, turning to you, he couldn’t stop himself from pressing a chaste kiss to your lips. You both pulled away, tears in your eyes.
“So, I’m seeing two placentas, this just means the twins are fraternal, not identical, right now the babies are about the size of a strawberry, now let me see if I can find their heartbeats,” She once again moved the ultrasound probe back and forth.
“Aww, there just two little twin strawberries hanging out in your uterus,” Max exclaimed in the background, causing Georgia to laugh and Austin to question what a uterus was. Ginny attempted to explain it to the young boy without explaining too much, resulting in Austin understanding that a uterus was your tummy. “I have oatmeal in my uterus,” He told Ginny. Which prompted everyone to burst out laughing. “I’ll just explain it when you’re older,” Ginny murmured.
A small yet strong thumping began emitting from the machine. “There they are, so far so good, the heartbeats sound nice and strong, the placentas seem to be forming properly, and everyone appears to be nice and healthy.” She smiled as tears escaped your eyes as you listened to the sound of your baby’s heartbeat, “Sorry,” You gave a teary-eyed smile to the woman in apology, Marcus gently wiped your tears with his thumb, before pressing a kiss to your cheek.
You were so happy your babies were healthy, but never in a million years did you think you’d be having twins. That was twice the crying, twice the cost, twice the feeding, and bathing. You tried not to show it but you were stressed. You and Marcus were going to raise not just one baby, but two small innocent humans, who were dependent on both of you.
“Don’t worry, almost every single parent cries when they first see their baby, in your case babies,” She grinned, grabbing an antiseptic wipe to remove the gel from your stomach. “Well, I’m gonna print the sonogram images for you, before I forget to mention it on your way out don’t forget to schedule you’re next appointment, we recommend you come in at least every 4 weeks.”
“Yes, we will do that, thank you,” You responded, pulling your shirt down, to its normal resting place now that the sonogram was over.
You sat up from your lying position, “I-I’m gonna go use the restroom,” You hurriedly murmured, before walking out of the room. You let out a breath, searching for the restroom, once you spotted it you quickly made your way to it. You slammed the door shut, locking it, taking a few more deep breaths in an attempt to not panic.
Albeit all you could think about was the twins in your uterus. Which caused you to slightly panic and spiral. But you were carrying twins you can’t panic, that’s not good for the baby. Before you knew it you were sitting on the restroom floor, having a panic attack. “I c-an’t do… t-this,” You quietly stuttered out through your tears, as they continued to cascade down your face. You tried to calm yourself down again but failed.
Suddenly a knock sounded from the other side of the door, “Bub, are you okay in there?” You heard Marcus question. “Mhm,” You managed to get out, a whimper escaping, as you tried to hide your sobs. “Baby, let me in, I can tell you’re not okay, please,” He quietly said through the door, his head leaning against it.
“Okay,” You sniffled as you stood up, unlocking the door, and allowing Marcus to walk in.
He immediately pulled you into a hug at the sight of you in distress. “What’s wrong, love?” He asked as you clung to him, tears rolling down your cheeks still. You attempted to get the words out, however, you’re breathing was too quick and uneven for you to get anything out. “Baby, you need to calm down okay? Listen to my heartbeat, and just follow my breathing, okay?” He told you in a questioning manner, pulling you in tighter, wanting to somehow squeeze out whatever was causing your tears.
You nodded, your head pressed against his chest as you listened to his calm heartbeat. Somehow listening to his relaxed heartbeat and being in his arms soothed you, following as he took a deep breath in and exhaled. Both of you stood there for a moment, a comforting silence enveloping you.
“I’m sorry,” You whispered.
Marcus shook his head, “You have nothing to apologize for baby, just please tell me what’s wrong?”
“It’s just- we’re having twins, Marcus, I mean, I was scared shitless when I found out I was pregnant with a baby, but now we’re gonna have two. I mean we’re barely gonna graduate, and I mean- how can we afford two babies!? I know you have your job, but- this is two babies, not just one anymore! And where are we gonna live? With my mom? Your parents? A-and what about college? I-I don’t know how you’re not freaking out, w-why aren’t you freaking out?”
Marcus simply smiled at you, “Because I love you, Y/n Miller, and I know no matter what, as long as I have you, and our families, we’re gonna be alright. We’ll figure everything out, I promise you,” He said his hands now gently holding your face in his hands, so you could look at him. “Just please don’t stress about this, it’s not good for you, or our precious cargo,” He grinned.
“You’re crazy.” You stared at him and all his calmness, causing him to laugh.
“Crazy in love with you? Yes, very much.”
“I probably look a mess now,” You said with a slight hint of sadness, as you fell into his arms once again.
“Well, if you look like a mess, then you’re the most beautiful mess I’ve ever laid my eyes on.”
“Hey!”
“What? It’s a compliment, come on,” He said, pulling you toward the mirror.
“See, still stunning, as always.” He told you, placing a kiss on the top of your head.
“Wow, my makeup looks pretty good still…” You said, grabbing a paper towel and patting the tear tracks away.
“That’s all you baby,”
“No, I think it’s that new setting spray I got.” You smiled lightly.
Another knock echoed off the restroom walls interrupting you, followed by Ginny’s voice, “Y/n/n are you okay in there? You’ve been gone a while… Marcus was supposed to come get you but he probably got lost, he’s kinda an idiot-” she was interrupted by a squeaky voice speaking up, “Hey, that’s not a nice thing to say, Ginny.” Austin said.
“I mean, is she lying though?” Max questioned.
“Honey, you alright?” Your mom called out after, as you and Marcus tried to contain your laughs.
“Maybe she’s not in there,” Max murmured.
You opened the door, being met with your family huddled around the door, “I’m fine guys, just a little worried, and hormonal, but besides that, fine.” You gave them a reassuring smile.
“Well, come on then, we gotta set up you’re next appointment,” Georgia said, nodding toward the front desk.
You all began walking toward the desk as you overheard Marcus, “Thanks for sticking up for me bud,”
Austin nodded, “You’re welcome, Ginny’s just a big old grump.”
“You’re right about that, Max too,” He replied teasingly, causing both girls to roll their eyes as you laughed at the conversation taking place.
。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚
You texted Padma images of the ultrasound seeing as she wasn’t able to make it. She congratulated you, her messages filled with love and excitement. Seeing as it was Saturday, the rest of the day was spent with your families, Clint and Ellen joining everyone at your house. They both sat in amazement as they stared at the sonogram images of your little strawberry twins.
“Wow, two healthy babies! We’re gonna have our hands full, again!” Clint signed.
“I know, I wonder if it’s because you and Maxine are twins Marcus,” Ellen murmured.
“Actually the ultrasound tech said something about it affecting ovulation, so Max would be twice as likely to have twins than me, or if one of our babies is a girl, she’d be more likely too. We just got lucky, I guess,” Marcus explained to his parents.
“Alright, remind me to never try for kids then, we don’t need two pairs of twins running around. That’s chaos is what that is.” Max laughed.
“I mean I’m sure you guys will be fine though,” She smiled awkwardly.
“Well, I can’t just wait to meet our little twins!” Georgia spoke, as you were all lounging around in the living room.
“Were they able to tell if they’re gonna be identical or fraternal? I don’t remember how many weeks I was when they were able to tell us, with Max and Marcus.” Ellen asked, Clint nodding in support of the question.
“They’re fraternal, thankfully, I don’t know how we would do it if they were identical. I mean we’d probably mix them up while they’re babies…” You answered while signing.
“There are actually a few tricks to tell them apart when they’re babies, like name bracelets or, painting their toenail a certain color, stuff like that,” Ellen responded.
“Yeah, and you guys might need to use some of those tricks, I mean, Max and Marcus looked almost identical when they were babies,” Clint informed you.
“Well then,” You smiled nervously, leaning into Marcus's arms even more. He rested his chin on the top of your head, as you sighed into his neck, beginning to feel slightly tired.
“You feel alright?”
“Mhm, just a little tired…”
“Wanna go nap for a little bit?”
“No, it’s okay, we can hang out down here a little longer if you want.”
“Y/n/n don’t make me drag you upstairs, if you’re tired, go nap,” Ginny said seriously.
“Yes, ma’am, I guess I’ll see everyone later,” You said, before Marcus helped you up and to your room. He closed your curtains to block the evening sun, before pulling the sheets back, allowing you to get into bed. You lay down, letting out a sigh in comfort, patting beside you for Marcus to join you.
He gladly obliged, cuddling you once he laid down. You nuzzled your head into the crook of his neck, breathing in his calming and comforting scent. “You feel a little bit better about having twins?”
“Yeah, especially since your parents have experience in that department, I still can’t believe it.”
“I know, we’re having twins,” He murmured.
“Yup, I wonder what gender they’ll be…” You mumbled.
“Me too, but as long as they’re healthy, that’s all that matters.” He said as he caressed your back with his hands, rubbing it soothingly.
“Mhmm,” You hummed, you’re breathing slowing as you began to fall asleep.
“Love you, bub,” You sleepily muttered.
“I love you too,” Marcus responded before placing a gentle kiss on your lips, “Sweet dreams, baby.” He whispered as you drifted off.
He pulled you closer to him as he began to drift off as well. Your favorite place was in his arms and his favorite place was you.

Pairing: Georgia Miller x Fem!OC
Summary: A blonde woman moved in across the street, little did Samantha know she’d be turning her life upside down.

Notes: welcome to my new series! i’m really excited to write this:)
Tumblr media
being adopted and hispanic in a small town like Wellsbury was rather lonely.
at least that's how Samantha always felt. she had never really felt like she fit in with her siblings or in her family, really. Ellen and Clint had problems getting pregnant early into their marriage, in fact they thought there was no hope so they adopted Samantha as a newborn. then two years later Ellen ended up pregnant. it was a miracle, a happy miracle. Samantha would have siblings and that's all the Baker parents really wanted.
growing up Samantha was alone most of the time, she went a school with mostly white people, only a handful of kids that could relate to Samantha. thankfully that all changed once she started middle school, she had met the twins, Oliver and Nia first during the first day of sixth grade. Samantha was going to sit alone like usual but Oliver saw her and sat at her table no questions asked. Nia followed after her brother and soon they became best friends. Mathew came into their lives only a couple of months later during their gym class. he was considered popular, he even played on the football and basketball team but even then he chose to hang out with the three best friends. it wasn't hard to understand why, they all had one thing in common; being outsiders.
the four became inseparable, even when Oliver joined the football team or when Nia joined cheer or even when they all started high school. it was as if they were a small family. they fought sometimes, like normal friends do but it never escalated into anything serious.
it was freshman year when Natalie and Jade joined their friend group. Oliver had a crush on Natalie so he asked her out and the group accepted her without much thought, Oliver seemed to really like her so they didn't find a reason to give her or him a hard time. they had met Nicole one day when they were at the skate park hanging out, she had approached them speaking to Samantha in particular and from then on she seemed to linger with them more and more to the point in which she just hung out with them everyday.
Oliver and Natalie dated most of their high school years, they broke up briefly during their junior year which wasn't surprising. junior year was known for being the most academically challenging. Oliver had practice along with keeping up with his AP classes and Natalie had an after school job so they didn't have much time to hang out. regardless they made it work and got back together just four months later.
junior year was also the year Max and Marcus started high school. Samantha didn't love it, especially considering Max would ask her for advice literally every second of the day or include herself in the friend group even though she most definitely was not. it didn't last long though, her Abby and Norah soon blended in and left Samantha and her friends alone. thank god.
the six teens were hanging out in Samanthas room the day before the first day of school. Oliver was sitting on the floor with Natalie beside him whilst Nia was on Samanthas beanbag and Jade was on the bed beside the shorter girl. Mathew was on his way and they were all waiting for him to bring the alcohol. initially they planned to smoke but Ellen had said Samantha couldn't go out since she started school the next day. they wouldn't stupid enough to do it inside though, the smell would be too obvious and Samantha did not want her parents image as a perfect child to be ruined.
Natalie giggled as Oliver kissed her neck making Samanthas nose scrunch in disgust, "can you guys please stop" she groaned and threw her body back on the bed. Oliver chuckled with his arm thrown around his girlfriends shoulder whilst the blonde stuck her tongue out at Samantha.
"suck my dick. you're just mad that you're still single" Natalie smirked.
Samantha rolled her eyes, she turned her head to see Jade looking down at her with an amused smile. the shorter girl smiled back and moved her body closer to Jade so she could rest her head on the girls lap. immediately after Jades hands began to softly comb her hair.
"yeah. why are you still single? arent half the girls at school in love with you or something?" Nia asked and narrowed her eyes in confusion.
Samantha scoffed, "please like that matters. Maxine would kill me if i got a girlfriend" she rolled her eyes with a huff.
Nia mimicked her actions, "are you serious? don't you get tired of having to put your life on pause because of her? i mean didn't she pretty much welcome herself into our group and when i asked you to join cheer you said no because 'Maxine thinks cheer is a cliche for mean girls' or whatever" she said holding her hands up in quotes.
Samantha could hear her friends chuckle at Nias words, "it's not like that. i just don't want her to feel left out, okay?" she said feeling a little annoyed by their comments now. sure, Maxine could be a lot but she was her sister and as the older child she felt like she had a responsibility to protect her sisters feelings.
"fine if you say so" Nia said holding her hands up.
it was Jade who spoke next, "what about you Nia? excited for Mathew to come over?" she said wiggling her brows in a suggestive manner earning laughs from the other two girls in the room.
Oliver looked at them confused, "Mathew? why would you be excited about him?"
Samantha glanced at Nia who was looking at her in warning. "it's nothing" she muttered lowly to try and cover for her best friend.
Jade laughed, "yeah nothing at all" she added.
Oliver didn't seem to be buying it as he glanced at each girl still obviously confused by Jades comment. thankfully the door opened to reveal the subject of their conversation with a huge smirk on his lips.
“why wasn't i aware of the smoke show moving across the street?" he said immediately moving across the room and toward the window. he moved the curtain to the side and looked outside.
"what are you talking about?" Samantha asked confused and began to sit up from Jades lap. Nia turned her body toward the window as well to look out of it, her eyes widening.
"holy shit, she's hot"
Samantha didn't waste another second and jumped up from the bed, she almost tripped on her own feet as she shoved Mathew out of the way making the boy groan and hold his stomach.
"shit girl, chill. she's not going anywhere" he joked making Samantha roll her eyes and give him the finger. the raven haired girl could faintly hear her mother yelling at her brother but she didn't much bother listening to whatever it is she was lecturing him on. it was the same story everyday with him.
her eyes roamed the street to try and find the woman Matthew was talking about. she didn't have to search for long as her eyes landed on the blonde woman in a yellow top with jean shorts on. she had a bandana to top it all off and she looked hot as hell.
"close your mouth, you're drooling" Nia said and Samantha didn't have to look at her to know she was smirking.
"fuck you" the short girl responded.
"Samantha, i made cookies!" a loud voice called from downstairs making all the teens jump up and start rushing out of the room.
"move your ass!" she heard Oliver say most likely to Matthew as they shoved one another to get downstairs first.
Samantha was about to turn around and leave when the blonde woman grabbed a box from her trunk and began to walk to her house. she was beautiful, really. her hips swayed naturally and everything about her was screaming Samanthas name. until the blonde stopped abruptly and turned her head, her eyes roamed the house until they landed on the window the young girl was currently looking through. any normal person would've backed away from the window and walked away but Samantha didn't. she felt like she was in a trance. instead she kept her eyes locked on the blonde, intently watching every emotion swirling behind her eyes. it was hard to read her though.
the blondes lips quirked into a small almost missable smile but Samantha caught it. their staring contest lasted just a second longer before the blonde turned back around and continued walking into the home.
a blaring alarm was what woke the short girl up from her deep slumber. a loud groan echoed throughout her room as she hit her hand against the pillow beside her. black hair was sprawled on the pillow underneath her and her face was smudged into the pillow, some strands of hair resting on her face. she was surprised she wasn't woken by her parents instead of the horrid noise coming from her phone. she reached over toward her nightstand where she finally found her phone and slapped it until the noise finally stopped.
it took her a couple of minutes to actually wake up. she wanted to skip school, it was the first day and most teachers just went over the syllabus or made them introduce themselves to the class as if they weren't already seniors. she only had half days, taking all AP classes when she was in her junior year paid off. so enduring three hours of school shouldn't be that bad.
the raven haired girl got out of bed lazily, her feet dragging against the ground as she walked to her dresser to choose an outfit for the day. a pair of light blue jeans and a white tube top. she'd take a sweater with her just in case she gets dress coded. her room was slightly messy from the day before, they all got a little buzzed and ended up watching a movie before it got dark and Ellen told them they needed to get home.
the white duvet on the bed was neatly made and sitting under three pillow. there was a black nightstand on the left side of the room that held a  picture of her and her friends during their junior prom. her walls were painted dark gray with LED lights along with posters of movies she liked. she had a dark blue beanbag near the window and across her bed was her dresser with a television on top. she even had a desk pressed against the left side of her room among that there was small tokens of her, like the plant on her desk, the pictures of her and the people she loved, even the mini figures of characters from her favorite movies.
once she was completely dressed with her hair curled and makeup ready she went downstairs and was met with Max and Marcus arguing about who knows what. it was like that almost every morning and at a certain point Samantha just learned to not care.
"good morning" Ellen said with a smile.
"good morning" Samantha signed with a slight smile.
"want me to make you chocolate chip pancakes?" she asked as she held up the spatula in her hand.
Samantha shook her head, "kinda in a rush. i have to pick up Jade" she said as she grabbed piece of pancake already cut up form Marcus's plate and ate it.
he looked at her with a bored expression to which she winked, "what? i'll consider that my pay for driving you around all summer" she said with a shrug.
he gave her an annoyed smile and looked back down at his food, "can we stop by blue farm on the way?" Max asked her sister.
"nope"
"what?! why not?"
"because i am not paying for your caffeine, i don't need you freaking out because i'm going five over the speed limit again" she said.
Marcus chuckled making Max groan in annoyance.
"mom, tell Samantha to take me to blue farm"
Ellen shook her head, "her car, her rules" she shrugged.
Maxine huffed in annoyance once more and Samantha shot her a cocky smile. once she drank all of her orange juice and ate half of Marcus's food, she grabbed her backpack and kissed her fathers cheek in goodbye. "let's go chums" she said as she walked toward her mom to give her a kiss goodbye as well. Ellen smiled in appreciation and watched as her daughter walked to the front door with marching steps.
she had always been the more responsible out of the three. being mexican meant she didn't get a lot of the opportunities that her siblings could have, that meant she had to get a job at blue farm since she was a freshman, had to take the most advanced classes and even join a lot of extracurricular activities. she even bought her car with her own money - although her parents pitched in for the down payment she had to pay every single bill from that day on.
the girl got inside her white Camry with her siblings behind her, as Marcus was about to get in the passenger side she clicked her tongue with a shake of her head. "nope, you know the rules. in the back, i don't need your sister ripping Jades head off" it wasn't much of a surprise that Jade and Max didn't get along, they were slightly alike yet completely different. Max thought Jade was a bitch and Jade thought Max was too loud and possessive over Samantha which meant Samantha did everything possible to keep them as far away from each other as possible.
"cant i just get in the back once we pick her up?" Marcus asked slightly annoyed.
Samantha sighed, "fine. whatever. just get in" she said waving him inside. he smiled in triumph and got inside the car like she had said. "seatbelts" she turned to look at each of them to make sure they were buckled in before finally backing out of the driveway.
the ride to school from Jades house was a little awkward, Max kept talking about how she was crush sophomore year and interrupting Samantha and Jades conversation every other second.
the shorter girl shot Jade an apologetic smile but she just waved her off, she already knew how Max was and after four years she was used to it. once they pulled into the parking lot Samantha got out with her backpack slung over one shoulder.
"later losers" she said to her siblings as she walked alongside Jade.
"i know you're gonna hate me but your sister is a bitch" Jade muttered with an eye roll.
Samantha laughed, "yeah she is and you know you're the only person i'll let say anything about her"
Jade smirked, "cause i'm your favorite?" she asked and fluttered her eyelashes flirtatiously.
the shorter girl shook her head, "whatever" she muttered shoving her softly. Jade laughed loudly as they approached the other three teens who were sitting at their usual spot. "sup losers" she saluted them as she sat down on Nias lap who was sitting on the couch. the curly haired girl wrapped her arms around her best friend and placed her chin on her shoulder.
"how was it?" Natalie asked Jade who shrugged.
"like always, didn't let me get a word out" she said making everyone chuckle.
they soon fell into a conversation that didn't last long considering they all had to get to class.
"i have calc and AP Lit after" Samantha announced as she stood from Nias lap.
"fuck, isn't it exhausting being little miss perfect?" Matthew asked with an amused smile.
Samantha looked at him with a neutral expression, "isn't it exhausting acting like a slutty jock?"
he laughed holding his hands up, "damn. you're breaking my heart here, Sammy" he joked making her roll her eyes.
"yeah, yeah. save the dramatics for Lauren. where is she anyway?"
"we broke up" he shrugged.
everyone stopped walking and turned to look at the boy in slight surprise, "seriously?" Jade asked.
"yeah" Matthew shrugged once more with his hands in his front jean pockets, "she was bitching about how i don't have enough time for her so i figured it's better to call it quits now. she was only supposed to keep me company for the summer anyway" he said with a smirk.
Samantha groaned, "oh my god, you are such a fuck boy it physically hurts to be around you"
"what? my parents are divorced and i went through emotional trauma and-"
"oh my god, shut up!" Jade exclaimed quickly earning laughs from everyone including Matthew.
"you know i'm fucking with you guys"
"yeah super solid joke, it isn't five years reused or anything" Natalie shot back making Oliver laugh.
"god i love you" he admitted and pulled her in closer as he had his arm wrapped around her shoulder.
Jade made a gagging noise, "please leave and never come back"
"gladly" Oliver said happily. he dragged his girlfriend with him into his next class.
"relationships are gross" Samantha grimaced.
"please, i live with him and they don't know what being fucking quiet is so if anyone has a right to complain here it's me" Nia said with a grimace.
Samantha and Jade laugh at her whilst Matthew slings his arm over her shoulder, "don't worry, i can keep you company" he said shooting her a wink.
anyone else would've missed the look on Nias face but Samantha didn't, the girl had a slight blush coating her cheeks and her step faltered for just a second before she continued like normal. soon after she shoved the boy off of her, "please, you would be my last option. after like - Marcus"
"absolutely not!"
three hours later Samantha and the five teens were sitting at a table in blue farm. Samantha and Nia were the only ones with half days but the rest decided to just skip the rest of the day, it's not like there was anything important anyway.
everything was going great, they were all talking like usual when a certain blonde walked in and everyone went quiet. in fact they didn't do much talking after that but Natalie commented on how obvious they were being so they tried to act as if they were making conversation. they all glanced at the blondes table as she talked to Paul and even after he left.
"i swear you guys are staring like some kind of stalkers" Natalie said in a hushed tone leaning toward the middle of the table.
"she's hot" Matthew shrugged.
Samantha was trying to be more discreet. she sipped on her coffee and listened to Matthew and Natalie argue back and forth.
the young girl was glancing at the blonde from the corner of her eye every couple of seconds, that's when she noticed the blonde woman stand from her table and approach them.
Samantha tried hush them but they weren't listening, up until the woman was standing at their table. "hello" she said a very strong country accent dripping in her voice that made the young girl feel queasy.
she had on a pink dress that highlighted all her curves and pushed her breasts up. her hair was down and she was holding a bag in one hand. Samantha's mind went blank at the sight.
"uh hey" Jade said with a slight wave.
the woman looked around the table until her eyes landed on Samantha, "i moved in just across the street from you" she said directing her words at Samantha.
the young girl gulped before nodding, "yeah." she said dumbly. she was never really the type to be left speechless, in fact it was always the other way around but somehow with this unnamed woman she couldn't come up with a single coherent thought.
"Georgia Miller" she smiled with her perfect teeth and held her hand out. they all glanced at each other then looked at Samantha in anticipation.
the girl smiled, "Samantha Baker but i assume you already know that" she chuckled softly as she shook Georgia's hand.
"your mom is so kind, she brought cookies over" she said happily.
"oh, her cookies are to die for" Oliver said making everyone look at him including Georgia. he didn't seem to care that he said his thought out loud.
"i can second that" Georgia said, "not to be.. that adult but shouldn't you guys be at school?" she asked looking around the table again.
"i have half days" Samantha said quickly, cursing at herself silently for answering so quickly.
"me too" Nia responded.
"and we're just getting lunch, we'll be back once we're done. right guys?" Jade asked looking at her friends with a slightly tightened jaw. they all nodded quickly.
"yeah, yeah. of course. we're very responsible" Oliver said with a charming smile.
Georgia seemed amused by all of them as she nodded, "okay well i'll be leaving you guys to it" she said, "have a nice rest of your day" she finished glancing at them all once more. and yet again her eyes landed on Samantha for just a second longer. soon after the blonde put on her sunglasses and walked out of the restaurant with a slight sway of her hips.
"holy shit" Matthew said practically reading Samanthas thoughts.
"she's hot as hell" Nia said breathily.
"how is it you check out girls more than your brother does?" Jade asked.
Nia shrugged with a smirk, "i actually have good taste" she said looking at Natalie who rolled her eyes and lifted her middle finger at her.
"fuck off"
"my eyes are simply captivated by this beauty right here" Oliver shrugged and pecked his girlfriends cheek.
"gross" Samantha said with a slight smile.
if only either of them noticed the look of longing in the girls eyes.
after blue farm they all went to the store to buy snacks and then parked outside of an abandoned building to smoke. Samantha opted out of it for the time being, she had to go home and confront her mom and she had already seen the way she reacted with Marcus and did not need that kind of weight on her. once school was officially released she said her goodbyes - much to everyone's disappointment who still wanted to hang out but she had to pick up Marcus from school. Max was already home, she had texted her saying she skipped after lunch.
much to Samantha's surprise they all decided to just hang out at her house. everyone was there except for Oliver who had practice and Natalie. the two worked at blue farm but Samantha wasn't scheduled in for the day. they usually had the same schedule but Joe thought they distracted each other too much so he made sure their work times didn't align all that often. unfortunately.
they were all outside, Samantha didn't feel like spending another day cooped up in her room so she decided to just stay outside instead. she was on the hood of her car with Jade beside her whilst the other two were standing to the side.
"there's gonna be a party Friday" Matthew said once he blew out the smoke out of his mouth. Ellen didn't have much of a problem that her daughter vaped, of course she didn't love it but she was eighteen and she couldn't really control that part. although Samantha always made sure to never do it in front of her or make it obvious that she was doing it.
"already?" Samantha asked confused.
"what do you mean?" Matthew chuckled, "it's the back to school party, Tyler is hosting" he says referring to one of the guys on the football team.
"hell fucking yeah, he always has the best parties" Nia smirked and snatched the vape out of Matthews hand to take a hit.
"i charge for every hit y'know" he says looking at her. Nia rolled her eyes.
"oh yeah? how's that?"
"i wouldn't mind a kiss" he shrugged innocently making Nia snort out a laugh.
"hilarious. really"
Samantha laughed at them along with Jade. the shorter girl had one leg resting on top of Jades with her head on the girls shoulder. "im assuming your going then?" Samantha asked Matthew who quickly looked away from Nia and at her.
"of course. i can't miss out on the first party of the year" he said with his usual smirk, he and Nia had a respectable space between them but every so often Samantha could see both of them inching just a millimeter closer. it was cute how oblivious they both were.
"Oliver and Natalie are probably going so count me in. just please don't let me do shots like last time" Nia said in a desperate tone.
the two girls chuckled at her whilst Matthews smirk widened. "i can take care of you"
Nia laughed, "right. sure. maybe i'll wake up in the bathroom floor and see you hooking up with some other girl in my room again"
Matthews smirk twitched, "that was one time and  i said i was worry" he said and even though he was trying to sound playful it was obvious he truly felt bad about it.
Nia chuckled, "yeah okay"
Jade glanced between them, the tension so strong it was starting to suffocate her so she turned to Samantha, "are you going?" she asked.
Samantha shrugged, "maybe. i have to ask but she'll probably say yes. i'll just need a ride" she said knowing that was one of the only rules Ellen had set when she started going to parties. she knew her daughter would drink and she'd rather be aware of it then the fact being hidden from her so she just always made sure Samantha wasn't the one driving.
"i'll drive. Oliver and Natalie will probably ditch me either way" she rolled her eyes. Samantha smiled. she had been ditched by them as well, having to find a ride home from someone she'd rather not think about.
"cool then yeah i'll go" Samantha nodded.
Matthew cheered softly knowing he wouldn't be having to venture yet another party alone. it wasn't really anyone's fault, he seemed to want to go to one every weekend and they all were busy. considering his parents were divorced he had the benefit of their guilt on his side so he didn't have to get a job or do anything other than the bare minimum. he even got a black mustang for his sixteenth birthday.
Marcus had joined them a little later as he began to clean his bike. Samantha thought it was pointless that he got one, he couldn't ride it for another couple of months and she knew their mom wouldn't be all that in favor of him riding it all that often.
they were talking calmly until a girl with curly brown hair walked out of their house. Marcus stood up from cleaning his bike and said something but Samantha want entirely listening. she wondered who the girl was, though.
she saw the teen get on the bike and put on the helmet, she was slightly confused but then assumed she was just trying to show off to Marcus. she knew her brother could be an asshole and for some reason girls really loved that. but she was wrong seeing at the teen turned the key to start the bike and soon drove off.
"shit" Samantha muttered as she stood from her car and saw Marcus tell the teen to stop and come back but it was to no use. Matthew stopped talking to see what she was talking about and by the time he did the curly brunette was back on their driveway. she took off her helmet and got off, her body turned and she grabbed Marcus by the shoulders and leaned in to kiss him.
"damn" Matthew said amused, all of them now forgetting whatever it was they were talking about as they watched the scene unfold before them. the kiss looked awkward and weird and it made Samantha laugh along with her friends.
Matthew couldn't cover his amusement so he held his fist up to his mouth to try and contain his laughter. then a car pulled up making Samantha turn to it. shit.
Padma said something to Marcus and he immediately turned around to walk to the car. Samantha knew all about them hooking up and in her opinion Padma deserved better than an emotionally unavailable fifteen year old. they all watched as Ginny watched them drive off very obviously embarrassed by her previous actions.
"bold move Maxine's friend" Matthew called out obviously having heard what Marcus had told Padma just seconds before. the brunette blushed pink and began to walk away. she saw her walk toward Georgias house. huh. could she be her daughter? Georgia looked way too young to have a fifteen year old but then again she could've been a teen mom.
once the brunette was out of sight Matthew began to laugh even louder making Samantha turn and smack his arm. "stop being an asshole!"
"hey!" he laughed, "you've got to admit that was funny" he said his laughter still not dying down.
a small smirk formed on Samanthas lips, maybe he was right. Nia and Jade broke into a fit of laughter too which a wave of laughter escaped her lips as much as she tried to fight it. she just hoped that girl wouldn't cause problems in Marcus's life, he already had to go through enough shit already.
once the sun had set everyone except for Jade went home. Samantha was the one who had to take her home and she didn't feel like being without the girl so she told her to stay for dinner instead. Ellen loved that. Jade was always extremely respectful toward her and seemed to be the closest to Samantha aside from Nia.
after dinner Samantha drove her home, they stayed in the car talking for an hour before Ellen told her it was late and she should start heading home. the girl did so, even watched a movie with her parents before saying she was going to bed. of course she wasn't, she just had to wait until it was after one before she could sneak out and smoke. her mom never really suspected her daughter smoked weed and she'd never been caught, even by her siblings. she made sure to keep her secrets hidden. that was the point of a secret after all.
the raven haired girl already had a blunt rolled so she climbed down from her window and sat behind her car where no one could see her. she took her lighter out of her pocket and flicked it on. once it was lit she inhaled deeply, leaving it for a couple of seconds then exhaled. a wave of relief hit her at the feeling. the girl laid her head back against the white car, her arm was on top of her knee whilst the blunt was held with her thumb and pointer finger.
the neighborhood was quiet to no one's surprise, she lived in a rather wealthy side of town so it made sense that there wouldn't be crime or people on the streets. it was almost depressing how boring everything around her was. only the crickets could be heard and occasionally a vehicle or two would drive by. the only thing accompanying her was the starlit sky and the full moon.
or so she thought. her eyes landed on the house across the street. it was normal, just like any other house in the neighborhood. the porch light was on, Georgia's car was parked in the driveway and it seemed quiet. just like a basic suburban home. but it wasn't just a basic suburban home because this home had a blonde woman sitting on the balcony that was on the side of the house. the woman looked to be drinking a glass of red wine and she was staring at Samantha intently.
it was dark so Samantha couldn't really make out what she was wearing but she could feel her eyes on her. she wasn't expecting much so she just sent the blonde a smile, although she wasn't all that sure if she could even see her. it was hard to make out but once she narrowed her eyes she saw the blonde motioning her over. Samantha was confused, was she imagining this? she debated on if she should go over, she reeked of weed and she's sure Georgia saw her smoking but she didn't seem like a snitch. at least that's what she hoped. maybe going over and asking her to keep what she just saw on the low wouldn't hurt.
the raven girl put out the blunt and stood, she was a little high, just enough to feel fuzzy but not enough to actually feel it. she dusted her silk shorts and put her hands in her gray sweater. she was wearing black silk shorts that didn't exactly like hide much but she wasn't exactly expecting to have eyes on her, especially not her hot neighbor. she was only wearing a tank top so she decided to throw on of Marcus's sweaters on that for the record it looked like it was drowning her.
she made sure to look both sides before crossing the road, it was pointless considering it was the middle of the night but she did not want to die tonight. once she reached the blondes home she looked up as the blonde looked down at her. "hey stranger" she said with a smile.
Samantha smiled back, "hey" she responds. the blonde looked at the shorter girl slightly amused as she looked at the girl up and down. the action alone was making the raven haired girl grow nervous. she cleared her throat,  "you didn't see anything.. right?" she asked extremely nervous now.
Georgia laughed, "oh, you mean the weed you were just smoking?" she asked with a very cocky smirk. Samantha was shifting from one foot to another and she scratched the back of her neck nervously. the blonde woman seemed to find pity on the girl as she waved her off, "i'm kidding of course."
a sigh of relief left the girls lips, "cool so you like, won't tell my mom or anything?" she asked hopeful.
there was a glint in the blondes eye that made Samantha feel even more nervous if that was even possible. "on one condition" Georgia said making Samantha raise a questioning brow. "share" she said simply.
Samantha was confused as hell by her comment. did she hear her correctly? she wanted her to share? "share?" she chuckled nervously.
Georgia simply looked at the girls right pocket that her hand was in and she was holding her blunt. the young girl finally cracked a smile, "fine" she shrugged. if she had to share her drugs to not get in trouble then that's fine with her. the blonde motioned to the tree making the shorter girl look at her confused.
"what? want to go through the front door instead?" she asked with a raised brow. Samantha glanced at the front of the house, contemplating if she should just go through the front door or not. chances are she'd end up making too much noise and wake her daughter up, not something she needs. she sighed heavily and took her hands out of her pockets.
"if i fall please tell my mom you coaxed me into smoking with you" Samantha said as she began to climb the tree. a beautiful laugh echoed throughout the dark night making the girls stomach fill with butterflies. it was hard to get her balance at first, her foot slipped once or twice but finally she was able to grab onto the railing. Georgia was standing now holding her hand out in case Samantha needed help but the girl was able to do it on her own. "fuck that was horrible" she breathed out and held her hand against her chest.
"you're so dramatic" Georgia rolled her eyes in amusement. once the girl calmed her heart she sat down where Georgia was previously sitting and the blonde followed her actions, taking the spot beside her. Samantha wordlessly took the blunt out of her pocket and the lighter as well.
“wanna do the honors?" she asked holding it close to the older woman. Georgia smirked and grabbed it from Samantha's hand before pulling it up to her lips. the raven girl turned the lighter on making the fire illuminate her face with an orange light. her freckles could be seen perfectly in that instant. the young girl made eye contact with the blonde before they moved down to the blunt, she bit her lip as she carefully brought the fire toward the blunt and heard it sizzle before it began to burn.
she pulled away a second later, still a little dazed by how close she was to the blonde. she cleared her throat awkwardly and looked at her hand as it reached into her pocket to place the lighter there. her eyes soon met Georgia's body, they started at her legs that were exposed. she was only wearing shorts and a silk shirt, both a beige color. her skin looked so smooth and soft Samantha had to hold herself back from recaching toward her and touching her. but she was snapped out of it pretty quickly by a cloud of smoke hitting her face slightly. her head shot up to see Georgia already looking at her with a small smirk.
Samantha cleared her throat, "i think i met your daughter today" she said and watched as Georgia offered her the blunt. the young girl grabbed it and brought it up to her lips, she inhaled deeply letting the smoke remain in her lungs for a couple of seconds before releasing it into the night.
Georgia chuckled, "oh, you mean the one who stole your brothers bike and then kissed him?"
Samantha smiled in amusement, "guess so"
Georgia sighed and brought the bud up to her lips and took a long drag. "that little shit doesn't know what's coming" she said as she released the smoke form her mouth. Samantha watched in amazement. she had been around people who smoked all the time but something about the way Georgia was doing it made her mind go blank.
she quickly blinked, she did not want Georgia to see her as the hopeless lesbian in love with her hot neighbor. "hey now," she said with a slight laugh "my brothers an asshole but.." she trailed off, where was even going with this? "yeah no he's just an asshole" she nodded in agreement.
Georgia laughed and blew the smoke out of her mouth once more. she did the same thing once more and gave Samantha the blunt. "you're not like your siblings huh?"
Samantha furrowed her brows in slight confusion, she looked at the ground as she took a small drag out of it. she was starting to feel it a little more now and wanted to pace herself. plus Georgia looked like she needed it more than her and she's willing to just give her the rest. "well i'm adopted" she tried to joke.
Georgia looked at her with a 'seriously' look that made Samantha laugh even more, "you know that's not what i mean"
the raven haired girl turned a lot more serious suddenly "i don't know i guess we just.. we don't have the same privilege that's all." she shrugged. Georgia saw the look on Samantha's face that told her she shouldn't push on the subject so she decided to change the conversation topic instead.
"your friends are funny" Georgia commented.
Samantha chuckled and pulled her knees up to her chest, she placed her chin on her knees for support and turned to look at the blonde. "if by funny you mean stupid then sure."
Georgia shook her head with a slight laugh. "you're a senior, right?"
"yeah. i was supposed to graduate early but i just couldn't leave those losers behind."
Georgia raised a brow, "so you're polite and smart, huh?"
Samantha did a double take "polite?" she asked completely confused and why she came to that conclusion. the blonde seemed to be asking completely random questions and she was starting to wonder how hard the weed is hitting.
the blonde smiled, it was one of those that made Samanthas heart beat a second time in just a second. "well, the first conversation i had with your brother he gave me weed" she started and was interrupted from continuing
Samantha looked a bit bewildered "he.. what?" she was aware her brother smoked every once in a while but she didn't think he'd be stupid enough to do it somewhere in which he could be caught. although she felt stupid for even thinking that considering their mother found him smoking on the side of the road a day before.
the blonde laughed softly at how concerned Samantha looked, "okay i'll admit i might've pried it off of him but regardless and this is the second conversation i've had with you that isn't ending up with you kissing up to me or you staring at my boobs."
Samantha looked even more shocked by her statement "oh?"
Georgia laughed even harder, "i just mean.." she chuckled breathlessly "you're mature for your age. that's all." she explained with a slight shrug. by now she had smoked all that she could and the tiny bud was resting on the ashtray beside her.
the girl finally understood what she was trying to say, she wasn't like her brother or maybe some of the teens she had met recently. it wasn't that she wanted be boring or a suck up but she just always craved the validation of her mom and sometimes even other adults. it was the way she could always be trusted and she was never considered to be irresponsible that really fueled her to always be perfect. she shrugged, "yeah well i guess that comes with being the older sibling and all."
Georgia nodded at her words and the two fell into a small silence. most of the time it would've made Samantha's skin crawl, she wasn't a fan of awkward encounters but somehow the way Georgia was smiling like this just gave her so much comfort. but even then she felt the need to fill the silence and he did, "so Ginny is your daughter?" she asked although she already knew the answer.
the blonde could understand the intentions behind her question pretty easily, it was everyone's question. "yeah," she nodded. "had her when i was fifteen."
Samantha's eyebrows rose in surprise "damn, that's.."
"slutty?"
the girl chuckled "i was gonna say brave"
the older woman raises a brow in question, obviously not believing her words. that had never been a way she was described and she didn't think the stoned eighteen year old in front of her would be any different.
Samantha chuckled at her actions, "i'm serious. you seem to have your life together, it's really impressive."
the blonde didn't seem to find a single lie behind her question so she accepted it "thank you"
the smile and intensity of the woman's stare was making Samantha feel all giddy. a shy smile overtook her features "yeah." she said lowly. she realized the conversation ended there when Georgia didn't make a move to speak again. a beat of silence passed before she spoke, finally getting the hint. "i think i should probably get going though."
"yeah," the woman nodded "don't want your mom knowing you were smoking with me."
Samantha smiled and stood "most definitely not. have to keep up the whole 'perfect daughter' persona up, y'know" she said and dusted herself off again.
"absolutely" the blonde agreed with a slight smile. she didn't stand and Samantha assumed she was going to stay out a while longer.
she carefully climbed to the other side of the railing and held on tightly as she said one final thing to the beautiful blonde "i'll see you around bud buddy"
Georgias eyebrows furrowed in confusion, a dozen different emotions flashed by her "i-.. did you just.. you know what? i'm too high for this" she shook her head holding her hands up in defeat.
Samantha laughed at her and climbed down the tree. once her feet were safely on the ground she turned up to look at Georgia again, she shot her one last smile that the blonde returned with ease. a second later she turned around and ran back to her house. she climbed her tree back up to her room and closed the window behind her, she didn't even bother taking off her sweater that reeked of weed and threw her body on the bed.
an uncontrollable smile overcame her features.

I really like the family dynamics going on in Ginny and Georgia. I appreciate that Zion and his parents treat Austin like he's their family as well and not just Ginny's.
I like that Paul's parents said Ginny would be a legacy if she went to Brown [? I can't remember if that was the school they mentioned]
I like them already treating her like family. In different shows they'd already being talking about how Paul needs a blood child and if or when Georgia is gonna have another.
It's just so freaking positive and refreshing to see.

Canon things Georgia has done.
1. Constantly uprooted her children and moved around a lot to where none of them could make a friend.
2. Doesn’t hesitate to harm children when they harm her children such as cutting the brakes on a little boy’s bike when he shoved Ginny down and she scraped her knee, and breaking Zach’s nose because he broke Austin’s Glasses
3. Constantly shoves it in Ginny’s face that she never had a childhood and that she sacrificed a lot for her while dismissing Ginny’s trauma
4. Raised Ginny in Poverty despite the fact that Zion’s parents would have helped her out. There is no indication that they wouldn’t have helped her.
5. Became a serial killer. One kill was to get rid of her abusive ex, the other was to kill someone who was going to sexually assault Ginny and the other was a mercy Kill. Still knowing your mom is a serial killer is a lot of pressure.
6. Made of fun of Cynthia to Joe for looking a mess knowing her husband was dying and still said she would still look amazing if her husband was dying
7. Failed to warn Ginny she had two guns in the house and they also ended up pointing the guns at each other
8. Throws out perfectly good food and probably around $300 worth of groceries just because Ginny said wasn’t hungry not even thinking about Austin her nine-year-old son and then made a jab at Ginny for not working. After she threw the food away she gave Ginny the double finger.
9.Lied to Paul about only having one gun in the house
10. Finds out about Ginny self-harming by reading her therapy journal and goes in starts yelling at her and then proceeds to tackle her which basically forces Ginny to pull down her pants and show her mom her burn marks.
11. Screws Ginny’s window shut. Yes, Ginny was sneaking in a boy through the window but that was not the way to go about it. For one it’s a fire hazard, it’s not safe and if there ever was a fire how would Ginny escape?
12. She smokes with Ginny’s boyfriend and acts like her daughter’s peer. It’s not cute, Georgia is not cool and its weird.
13. Forces herself into Ginny’s therapy session, and even when Ginny tells Georgia issues, she has with her Georgia still wants Ginny to appreciate her. Georgia has a habit of weaponizing her own trauma to dismiss Ginny’s. She also kind of mocked Ginny’s therapy session
14. Dressed as Scarlet O’Hara a racist figure for Halloween and when Ginny told her it bothers her Georgia dismissed it and didn’t see the issue.
15. She acts like she respects like her daughter’s boundaries when she really doesn’t. Two examples, her smoking with Marcus and her barging in on Ginny’s therapy session.
16. She took out credit cards in her children’s name resulting in Ginny’s credit score being ruined before Ginny could legally get a credit card. Then Georgia had the audacity to be upset with Ginny for using Austin’s card. Yes, Georgia did it for survival but still who wouldn’t be upset about their parent ruining their credit score before they were old enough to obtain credit themselves? Yes she did it to put Gil away which was clever but still I agree with Ginny why not get something out of it?
17. She tells her 16-year-old daughter she is afraid of her despite the fact she has no qualms of harming children, she is a serial killer by definition since she killed three people. She has a criminal past, and she is the one who lied by omission about having two guns in the house. This caused Ginny and Georgia to point guns at each other because both were startled. Yet this woman had the audacity to tell her daughter she feared her? Your daughter fears you.
18. Instead of trying to talk to Ginny rationally she immediately starts attacking her or tries to be her friend. That’s very weird and not cool at all.
19. Tried to put alcohol in her English’s teacher’s desk. Yes, Georgia did it out of love for Ginny but in the long run it sets Ginny up to be hated on, sets her up for racist microaggressions. Yes, Georgia loves Ginny, but she fails to see the full picture of her actions on how they might affect her daughter.
I am sure I am missing some, but these are all things Georgia has done. People keep saying Ginny wants mommy issues or that she makes her mommy issues worse than what they are. when all of the thing I listed above would be enough to have mommy issues. Whether people acknowledge it or not Georgia is one of Ginny’s triggers for her-self harming. Why on Earth would anyone feel like they could talk to their mom when they have extreme reactions. This fandom does one of two things, one it infantilizes a grown white woman while dismissing a biracial girl trauma, and two they give Georgia praise for doing the bare minimum as a parent. Ginny never said she wasn’t grateful. Ginny can be grateful and still feel the way she does. It’s also hard to be grateful when a parent constantly weaponizes their trauma and sacrifices they made for you to minimize trauma their child might have experienced. Yes Georgia has trauma however her trauma does not negates Ginny’s trauma.

Okay, Can we talk about the brilliance of the way "Until I Found You" was used in the Ginny and Georgia Season 2 Ep. 9 soundtrack??
Like- I had GOOSEBUMPS.
The way they put it right after a really heavy scene. And this is a song that got really famous for being the perfect love song. We all adore the way this song makes us feel. But all the scenes that were put over the song were so heartbreaking that the irony was terrifyingly beautiful.
Give an award to whoever is responsible for this particular needle drop.
(Also- they took perfect advantage of the fact that this song starts with Georgia.)

Champagne Problems
marcus baker x miller!female!reader (I just realized some of y’all may think this means that Zion’s your dad but it just means that Georgia’s your mom but you have a different dad)
flangst! ( if y’all can’t tell I really like flangst, haha)
word count: 7.1k
warnings!: mentions of pregnancy & abortion, cussing, toxic? relationship (on&off), mentions of food, anxiety, & panic attacks… i think that’s all 😅
includes: bestfriend!padma, younger!sister!ginny (15 years old), you and Marcus are 18, OC? (not really) Noah (Marcus's best friend that he lost to cancer, they never gave him a name in the show, so from now on I’ll probably just refer to him as Noah, it was the first name that came to mind)
ALSO: before reading, I just want to preface, that it is your body and your choice. 💞
unedited!
part 2 part 3
Tumblr media
。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚
You never thought you’d be stood here, however there you were. It was as if the box full of pregnancy tests was laughing at you. You had been practically been disintegrating it with your eyes. You’d had enough, you were just gonna do it.
As you waited for the three tests for three minutes, it was the longest three minutes of your life. You were filled with anxiety and intrusive thoughts that almost sent you spiraling.
Your breath trembled with unevenness, your timer causing you to jolt out of your stupor. You held your breath. This was it. These pink sticks would cruelly decide your fate.
You quickly glanced at the tests. All three tests were undoubtedly positive, each reading the word ‘positive’ on the little digital screen.
That one word ‘positive’ sent you panicking, gasping for air, as the word ran rampant in your head. Positive. They're positive.
You couldn’t even form the words in your brain, “I’m preg-“. It was as if even acknowledging the word in your mind would make what was already your reality true. That was something you didn’t want to accept.
Your legs gave out from under you, sending you crashing to the cold tile flooring. Goosebumps arose on your arms, unsure if they were caused by the frigid tile or the shock of the recent revelations.
Silent sobs fell from your lips. Tears tainted your cheeks, the pregnancy tests taunting you from the counter. You were so livid with yourself. How could you have let this happen? How could you have been so stupid!? How? Why?
Your mother had desperately tried to protect you from this; from the pain of becoming a teenage mother. You weren’t sure how you were gonna tell her, you knew it’d break her. Would she scream at you? Throw you out? Would she simply cry? And what about your siblings, how would they react?
And Marcus? You knew from the moment you read that word on the pregnancy test that he was the father of your unborn child. Would he even want to be in your child’s life? You knew what it was like to grow up with an absent father, and you would never want your child to have to go through that. To grow up wondering why all the other kids had dads and they didn’t.
Having to question why they were abandoned by him as you did.
Your hands formed tight fists, your nails imprinting crescent moons on the palms of your hands due to how hard you’d been clenching them.
You threw your head back, wanting to scream but you couldn’t. You didn’t want to alert anyone of what had happened while you were in the bathroom.
A knock on the door, caused your breath to hitch in your throat. “Y/n are you almost done? You’ve been in there for like 20 minutes now,” You heard your sister Ginny call from the opposite side of the door.
You cleared your throat, hands sweeping away the tears that had created streams down your face.
“Yeah, Ginny, I-I’ll be out soon.” You said trying to hide the emotion your voice held.
Ginny knew something was up, but she figured it had something to do with your on-again-off-again relationship with Marcus. She decided she would give you your space and check on you later. Sometimes she just wanted to quite literally slap some sense into you, scream at you to drop his ass. But she knew even that wouldn’t do anything.
Marcus had your heart in a cage. You loved him unequivocally. But she wasn’t sure he felt the same. When he wasn’t with you, and you guys were in the off stage, he was with some other girl.
Ginny loved you with all her heart, and she and everyone around you could clearly see you deserved and were worthy of much more than Marcus could offer you. Albeit, you were too blinded by that captivating, enamoring smile of his. It pulled you back into his arms every time. His brown eyes brought you crawling back to him each time you tried to escape them.
。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚
You tried your best to mask your emotions, however, you were pregnant and even more hormonal. So to say you were hiding it well, well, it was contradictory, to say the least.
You hadn’t told a single soul. As the days passed you spent them kissing Marcus and doing a lot more, taking in all of him that you could, trying to memorize every part of him. This minute voice in the back of your mind told you once you told him, you would lose him. For good.
When you weren’t with Marcus you spent your nights hysterically crying in bed. Your hand clamped against your mouth in a feeble attempt to obscure your cries.
One night Ginny had heard you, coming into your room to find you on the verge of a panic attack. That was when she knew something was terribly wrong.
Your chest shook, heart, beating erratically. You shook your head wanting to wake up from this nightmare.
“Y/n/n, calm down, you’re okay, everything’s gonna be okay, alright?” Ginny attempted to calm you down.
You only shook your head, somehow your sobbing becoming even louder at her words. She pulled you into a tight embrace. Rocking you back and forth in an attempt to soothe you. Something you had done for her numerous times when she would have panic attacks.
You felt disgusted with yourself. You were her older sister. You were supposed to set a good example for her. You are the one whose supposed to comfort her, and be her shoulder to cry on, not the other way around.
Ginny couldn’t seem to calm you, no matter what she did. She wasn’t quite sure how your mother hadn’t woken up or Austin.
“Y/n/n, do you want me to call Marcus?” She asked you, she may not like him for you, but she knew he would somehow be able to instantly calm you down.
“No,” You cried sobbing harder, at the mention of his name.
“Okay, okay, I won’t call him,” She murmured.
She gently rubbed your back, continuing to rock the both of you back and forth. It took a while but you eventually calmed down. Ginny stayed with you that night and cuddled you to sleep not wanting to leave you alone. A tear escaped Ginny’s eye, she hated seeing you like this.
The following morning, Georgia burst into the room, searching for her youngest daughter. She found her in your bed, the two of you holding each other; it was something she hadn’t seen in a while and it piqued her curiosity. She could immediately tell something was up. Your eyes were swollen, cheeks splotchy, all pointing to one thing.
You had been crying. She had a feeling it had something to do with the boy that just seemed to keep on hurting you. Often times she thought it would be best if she poisoned his food or drink while he was over but she refrained from doing so for your sake because somehow you loved that boy. She knew what it was like to be so in love with someone that just seemingly couldn’t commit to you.
Marcus could hurt you so deeply, and send you on a rollercoaster of highs and lows. But the highs, God were they so good. You would be smiling for days, nothing able to tear you down except the only person who could paint that same smile on your face. She loved seeing you that happy, that was all she wanted for her kid's, unfaltering happiness.
Your mother let you and your siblings stay home that day. She woke you with your favorite breakfast and favorite drink paired with it.
“Thanks, mama.” You tried your hardest to bring a smile to your face, for her sake. But you couldn’t and it ended up being more of a grimace. Hiding this secret was taking a toll on you, it had been two weeks since you had found out the shocking news, that you were gonna be a mother in 9 months. Give or take. You were beginning to drown.
Ginny glanced at her mother, eyes full of worry.
“Anything for my girls,” She smiled at you.
“How about we have a girl's day, huh, how does that sound?” She inquired.
“I really appreciate you mom, but I kind of just want to stay home today if that’s alright?”
“Of course, babygirl.” She gave you a warm smile.
“You know, you can tell me anything, right, baby?” She pulled you into a hug. You fought back the tears that so desperately were trying to slip out. You nodded, not trusting your voice to respond.
“Alright, well, I’ll leave y’all be.” She trailed out, closing the door behind her.
You took a small bite of your breakfast, you were beyond starving.
“Y/n? What’s wrong, please talk to me,” Ginny murmured, hurt in her voice.
“I hate seeing you like this,” She whispered.
“It’s nothing Gin, alright, don’t worry about me. Okay, me and Marcus are just having a rough patch that’s all.” You lied to the girl, you just needed more time before you inevitably broke your family’s hearts.
“I know that’s not true Y/n/n,” she shook her head, “this is different.”
“Ginny, I promise you, I’m fine-“ as that last word fell from your lips, you felt an overwhelming rise of nausea fill you. You leaped up from your bed, sprinting to the bathroom. You practically vomited your intestines into the toilet.
You wiped your mouth with some toilet paper. You rinsed your mouth, followed by brushing your teeth along with some mouthwash to get rid of the horrid taste of bile.
As you turned to walk out, Ginny stood in the doorway, eyebrows scrunched together.
“Something in the food must’ve been bad or undercooked,” You explained.
“Mhm,” She nodded.
。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚
You hadn’t talked to your best friend Padma, in a few days, like everyone else Padma knew you were acting odd, however, she had yet to voice her opinion. You knew being around Padma, would cause her to lure your secret out, and you couldn’t risk that. So, you had been hanging out with Marcus a lot more.
Albeit, it caused you to feel extremely guilty for keeping it from him. It had almost been a month that you’d been harboring this secret, and you knew you’d need to tell everyone soon. However, you decided to keep on basking in the bliss of ignoring your problems.
You had decided to go over to Marcus's house, you knew he was home seeing as you were neighbors, but he hadn’t been responding to your texts. You should’ve just given him the space he clearly wanted. You walked into the house, as if it were your own, seeing as you spent a lot of time there.
Max was nowhere to be found, so you signed hello to Ellen and Clint and made your way to Marcus’s room. You knocked on his door, before pushing it open. The boy barely glanced up at you, before returning to his sketchbook. “So, now you’re ignoring me?” You questioned him.
A sigh escaped his full lips at your remark. “Really, Marcus? You’re gonna do this again?” Shaking your head in annoyance. Your hormones were not about to put up with his shit.
“I don’t wanna talk about this right now, Y/n,”
“Well too bad, Marcus, because I’m here, and I want to talk about it. Right now. I seriously don’t feel like paying your games right now.”
He raised his eyebrows at your tone, never having heard you speak to him like that before. “I’m too tired for this, Y/n, just go.”
“No, Marcus, I’m not leaving until you tell me what the hell your problem is.”
“You, Y/n! You want to know what my problem is, there it is, Y/n! You’ve been so fucking clingy this past fucking month, I haven’t had a second to myself. God, I just wanted a little space but clearly, that’s too much to fucking ask of you.” He spat at you, brows scrunched up in anger.
His outburst caused you to purse your lips in shock before your jaw clenched with anger.
“Oh, sorry, for wanting to spend time with my boyfriend before he inevitably breaks things off at the beginning of each month, like some sort of fucking routine! So he can be with some other bitch for a few weeks, before deciding to come back to me, god, Marcus!”
“What the fuck is up with you, why are you acting like this all of a sudden?”
“What’s wrong with me?” You questioned letting out a humorless laugh.
“What’s wrong with me is that I’m tired of your shit, Marcus. What’s wrong with me is that I’m pregnant with your fucking kid!” You exclaimed in exasperation your hands flying up in anger.
Marcus’s brown eyes widened immensely, at your words. It dawned on you, that you had just told him that you were pregnant. Your hand flew to your mouth in shock, “Oh my god,” You murmured.
He sat in silence for a few moments, and you turned to face his door as you began to feel panic bubble up in your chest. “You’re pregnant?” He quietly questioned, as his head dropped into his hands.
You couldn’t bring yourself to form the words, simply nodding your head, as your eyes burned holes into his wooden flooring. “This can’t be happening, Y/n, we’re only 18, I mean we haven’t even graduated high school yet!”
You took deep breaths trying to calm yourself, “Don’t you think I know that, Marcus?” You hissed at him.
“What the hell, Y/n, you- you said you were on the pill!”
“I was, Marcus, it’s not 100% effective, and don’t you dare try to fucking blame this on me okay?” You turned to him with nothing but irateness smeared across your face.
“I can’t deal with this shit right now,” He quietly muttered, however, you still heard him.
“How the fuck do I even know that it’s really mine?” He questioned, now standing up.
“You’re fucking with me right, Marcus?” Fury burning in your eyes.
His face remained stoic, “Unlike you Marcus, you’re the only person I’ve ever been with,” You said through clenched teeth.
You couldn’t control your anger anymore, and the next thing you knew you were slapping him. “You’re a fucking asshole.” You said, before leaving his room, tears beginning to cloud your vision.
You attempted to rid yourself of the tears, but you couldn’t. They streamed down your face like a rapid, as your breath began to quicken. You reached for your phone calling Padma.
You sat in her SUV, as she shushed you, caressing your hair.
“Everything’s gonna work out in the end, Y/n/n, I promise.”
“It’s not Lo,” You managed to say through your crying and whimpers, “I fucked up so bad,” You whaled.
(*A/N: Padma means Lotus in another language, I don’t remember what language… but Lo is short for Lotus, I don’t know, I thought it was a cute nickname, rather than using ‘Pad’.)
“I’m here for you, Y/n/n, and I always will be okay, you know that, right?”
You gave a nod in response, sniffling.
“I’m sorry for ignoring you, I’m a terrible friend.” You cried.
“It’s okay, bub, I know you’ve been struggling this past month, I don’t hold it against you for needing some time.”
“You should, I have no excuse,” You whimpered.
“But I don’t, okay? Do you think you’re ready to tell me what’s wrong?” She gently asked. You nodded, staying in her warm, comforting embrace as you explained why you had been so distant, due to the fact that you would be a teen mom in less than 9 months. You told her about the fight with Marcus, how you hadn’t meant to just blurt the words out, and how he had the audacity to question if your child was his.
“Oh my god, Y/n/n, he’s a complete dick!”
“I know, and what’s worse is that, after everything that we’ve been through, I still love him. Does that make me crazy?” Your eyes welled up with more tears, and a dry laugh slipped from your lips.
“Very much so, but that’s what love does. Anyone who says they're in love and doesn’t feel crazy, well they’re not really in love.”
“Can I ask you something?” She voiced.
You nodded, “Why didn’t you feel like you could talk to me about this? We’ve been friends forever Y/n/n, you know I’d never judge you…” She gently probed.
“I know Lo, I just didn’t know how to and I didn’t wanna burden you with this secret,”
“You wouldn’t have bub, I promise you,” She said her hands clasping yours.
“Does anyone else know?”
“No,” You responded, “I have no idea how I’m gonna tell my mom, or Ginny…”
Tears began to leak from your eyes once again, “Mom is gonna be so disappointed in me,” You cried, “I mean she was a teen mom, and this is literally what she has tried to prevent from happening,”
“I’m a terrible daughter, and I’ll probably be a terrible mother too, I mean I’m only eighteen, and- and this kid is gonna have to grow up without a Dad, just like I did. They're gonna wonder why they weren’t good enough, and I-I’m gonna have to raise them by m-myself,” Your breath hitched, as you continued to cry and ramble.
“You’re gonna be a great mom, Y/n/n, if there’s one thing I’m sure of it’s that. And yeah, maybe it’s not exactly what your mom wanted but, I’m sure she’ll be supportive, especially because she knows exactly what it’s like to be a teen mom. And Ginny and Austin will probably be so excited to have a niece or nephew. Everything’s gonna be okay.”
You nodded your head, trying to believe her words.
“When are you gonna tell them?”
“I have no idea…”
。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚
Marcus hadn’t talked to you since last week when you had accidentally told him you were pregnant. You hadn’t tried to reach out to him either, unsure of how to feel anymore.
You glanced up at your mother’s dark brown eyes which were filled with shock as she tried to keep her face neutral. Your younger brother Austin was giddy with excitement, a wide grin playing on his face, Ginny’s face furrowed in worry.
You nervously played with the ring Marcus had given you when you first began dating at 15. A ring filled with false promises, empty words, and happiness that no longer remained. “I tried, I tried so hard… to prevent this, so you wouldn’t have to go through what I did,” She muttered, her tone holding a wave of slight anger to it.
“How could you be so fucking stupid Y/n?! I mean, truly, I-I cannot believe this...” Your mother suddenly burst out.
Your mouth was agape, you were speechless. You had hoped she would’ve reacted better, but you knew better. Your bottom lip trembled, eyes shimmering with tears. “Mom!” Ginny snapped at her.
You quickly got up, making your way to your room. You were too busy trying to drown the feeling of an oncoming panic attack that you didn’t notice Marcus sat on your bed. Your breathing became more erratic, your panic causing you to not hear Marcus as he questioned if you were okay.
“I should just get rid of it,” You sniffed, the words being filled with bitterness as they left your mouth.
“Princess?”
You looked up, eyes now meeting Marcus’s. Your eyes widened, “What-what are you doing here?”
“You were planning on aborting our baby? Without telling me?” He accused you with belligerence.
“Marcus, I-”
“I can’t believe you, Y/n,”
“Marcus, please, let me-”
“I’m out of here,” He shook his head, leaving the way he came.
“You’re not the one who’s carrying this baby, okay, Marcus!” You called out to him, as he was midway through climbing out of your window.
He turned toward you, “Yeah, soon neither will you.” He snapped at you, slamming your window shut.
(A/N: Damn, double homicide. LMAO please tell me y’all have seen those tiktoks, if not just ignore this… 😅)
You gasped for a breath and stood frozen in place for a moment. In a fit of anger, you began flinging things across the room. A picture frame of you and Marcus went flying at your window, the force causing it to shatter. You let out a scream of frustration, as you sat on the floor, sobbing loudly, your heart physically paining you.
Your fists met the floor, pounding on the wood, not knowing how to handle all the anger, sadness, and frustration that filled you.
When Marcus reached his room, he slammed his door in frustration and anger. Anger at himself, you, and the world. His eyes held unshed tears, his face in a scowl. He abruptly began punching his bedroom wall. Not stopping until he felt a force holding his fists back. He hadn’t realized he had been crying until he felt his tears now hitting his fists. His head fell against the wall, as Maxine pulled him into a hug, “What’s wrong Mark?” She spoke up after a few silent moments.
(A/N: I’m never using that nickname again, I’m sorry but that made me physically cringe…haha)
“Everything.” He breathed out.
Marcus had decided to confide in his twin, something he hadn’t done in a while.
“I- I haven’t been able to say it but, I-I love her, Max. I know I don’t deserve her, I’ve been treating her like crap for the past year. Our relationship has brought her nothing but pain, and I try and try to let her go. But I can’t each time I try to break it off, I end up going back to her because I can’t fucking breathe without her. I’m such a fucking asshole.” He shook his head in frustration.
“She’s- she’s fucking pregnant, Max, I don’t- I can’t be a dad. I can barely fucking take care of myself,” He whispered, exasperation in his voice.
“I thought for a second that maybe we could figure things out, so I went over there, and she’s fucking talking about getting rid of our baby, Max.”
“I think- I think you need to figure out what you want, Marcus, and once you do, you need to tell Y/n alright? Because this is something big, that you both need to discuss, and you need to stop being an idiot and tell her how you really feel, instead of getting scared and running away from your feelings,” She told her brother, trying to contain her thoughts, she wanted him to come to his own decision, albeit she really excited at the thought of possibly having a niece or nephew. Preferably a niece.
。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚
After Ginny and Austin had told their mom off for shouting at their hormonal, pregnant sister, Ginny texted Padma hoping she’d be able to cheer you up. Padma had shown up at your house to whisk you away for a little. Before you left you tightly hugged Ginny and Austin who had showered you with love before you left, showing they supported you in whatever you would decide to do. Their kind words brought tears to your eyes, but you blinked them away not wanting to cry anymore. As for your mom, you assumed she was hiding in her room, an attempt at hiding you from her disappointment in you.
Padma came from the even wealthier side of Wellsbury, so money was something she didn’t lack. She had taken you out for some ice cream, ordering your favorite. Once you both had finished your ice creams, she decided you both needed a mani-pedi.
Padma had definitely helped relax you with her impromptu girl’s day. Once you guys finished at the salon, you begged Padma to let you stay the night at her house, not wanting to return to your own and possibly run into Marcus or your mother.
You were grateful when she said yes, and it was a good thing seeing as Marcus had shown up at your house, looking for you.
Ginny stood with her arms crossed, her full eyebrows raised in umbrage. Marcus nervously swallowed at your little sister’s seeming repulsiveness toward him. Before he could even utter a letter she began, “She’s not here. And even if she were, she most definitely wouldn’t want to see you.” She told him, her words filled with nothing but loathing for the boy.
“Ginny, I-”
“You know I really don’t understand what she sees in you. You have treated her like some disposable toy for I don’t even know how long, yet somehow she still loves you.” She bit her lip in anger, “You don’t deserve her, she deserves someone way better than you, someone who actually loves her, cares about-”
“Ginny, you can say whatever you want about me, but don’t say that I don’t care about or love your sister, because I do.” He interrupted her, with anguish.
“Then act like it, Marcus!” She shouted at him, “Because you say one thing, but you do the complete opposite! You need to get your shit together before it’s too late, and she leaves you. For good. It seems like she’s this close to dropping your ass,” She gestured with her hand.
Marcus clenched his jaw, his eyes glazing over with tears as he gave a small nod at the young girl who was grilling him, “I’m trying, Ginny.” He softly spoke.
“Well try harder, Marcus, for my sister, for your unborn child. I mean, don’t you want to be in their life?”
“I don’t know if they’re gonna have a life”
“Well, that’s something you guys need to talk about, and Marcus, please, stop hurting her,” Ginny begged.
“I promise,” He murmured his voice breaking slightly.

You returned home the next day and were full-on expecting to come home and be met with an angry mom, and a torn-up room. Albeit, it was the opposite. Your eyes held a sadness in them, feeling completely lost and overwhelmed. You were surprised when you swung your door open, your mother sat on your bed in your somehow tidy room.
She gave you a soft smile, tears in her eyes. You weren’t sure what to do, so you simply stood there, feeling shame, waiting for her to practically throw you out. You attempted to blink your tears away, hugging yourself in an attempt to comfort yourself.
“Baby… I’m- I’m so sorry for what I said yesterday.”
Your eyes were turned downward, your gaze on the floor. Suddenly you saw her feet appear in front of your own before you felt her wrap her arms around you, causing your tears to silently fall. “I should have never called you stupid, because my sweet girl you are anything but, and I am so proud of you, okay?” She said her voice full of emotion, her hand soothingly rubbing your back.
You silently nodded, sniffles and soft whimpers leaving you. “I’m gonna be here with you baby girl, every step of the way, alright? I support you no matter what, darling, I love you so much.” She whispered as you continued to keep your head buried in the crook of her neck.
“I’m so mad at myself for what I said to you baby, please forgive me, I know what it’s like to be in your position and I really should have comforted you instead of making you feel worse.” She cradled your head in her hands, before pulling back from you, wiping your tears, and placing a kiss on your forehead.
You sat on your bed, cuddled up with your mom, being in her arms brought you the utmost comfort. Your head once again, found its place in the crook of her neck with your eyes closed. They felt so sore from all the crying you had done in the past month and a half.
“Have you and Marcus talked about what you’re gonna do?” Your mother softly asked you.
You wordlessly shook your head ‘no’. “I think he thinks I want an abortion,” You gently voiced. “Oh, and may I ask why he thinks that?”
“It was after I told you guys about my pregnancy, and I came up here, and I was really upset, and I said that maybe I should just abort it. I didn’t know Marcu was here and he heard me, I haven’t talked to him since.” She quietly nodded, processing your words.
“And is that what you want, baby?”
“I don’t know mama, a part of me wants to try and raise this baby but I don’t wanna do it without him, but I think I’m gonna have to.” Your voice cracked at your last words.
“If he’s in your baby’s life, is up to him. But honey, you won’t have to raise your baby alone, you’re gonna have me, Ginny, Lo, we're all gonna be here to help you and support you if you decide you want to keep this baby.”
You nodded, her words bringing some comfort to you. Your mom let out a small sigh but before she could say anything else you spoke up. “Mom, how did you decide you wanted to keep me?” You questioned her. “Honestly, honey, I just knew. I mean from the moment I found out I was pregnant, I couldn’t wait for you. I was so happy to finally be able to love someone so dearly, who’d love me just as much as I loved them. I guess in a way… it was for my own selfish reasons of wanting to feel loved, but I try not to think about that too much, and just focus on being grateful for you, and to my younger self for making the only decision that I felt was right.”
“I think, I think I wanna keep them.” You said, gently placing your palm against your tummy that’d soon grow to carry your baby.
You stayed in your mother’s loving embrace for a while longer before she moved, explaining to you she had some things she had to take care of. She sent Ginny and Austin up to cuddle you, before making her way towards the Baker’s house.
It was pure luck that Marcus happened to be walking out of his house, just as she had begun walking toward their front door. “Marcus, just the boy-soon-to-be-father, I wanted to talk to.” She smiled, a calculating smile, at the boy.
“Mrs. Miller, uh, I don’t know what to say…” He murmured.
“Well, I just wanted to come over here and congratulate you, of course. As well as to remind you that you will help raise this child and if you continue to string my daughter along, and treat her like your little plaything, you won’t get to see your child grow, let alone the light of day, okey-dokey?” Her serious expression abruptly disappeared as she once again smiled at him and patted his shoulder.
“I think this chat went splendidly, but I best get going,” She said before walking off.
Marcus was left speechless, mouth slightly ajar. He had yet to tell his parents, and he hadn’t thought you would’ve already told Georgia. His talk with Max had made him realize he needed to tell you how he felt about you and your unborn child.
You, Ginny, and Austin had just settled into a comfortable position on your queen size bed, which was oh-so-comfortable. A knock interrupted your laughter at the movie that had been playing. It caused the three of you to glance at each other before Ginny decided to go and answer it. You followed her, not wanting her to answer the door by herself. Of course, that prompted Austin to go as well.
“Ginny, wait, for-”
You were interrupted by Ginny pulling the door wide open, Marcus stood on your porch, your favorite flowers in hand and a stuffed teddy bear. He looked up as the door opened, making eye contact with Ginny, his eyes held remorse, he was ready to plead with Ginny to speak with you, however as his lips moved to form the words, his eyes caught you, as you stood a little ways behind her.
“Y/n?” He questioned in a soft tone.
Ginny raised her full brows at the boy, unimpressed, “Y/n do you want me to-” she began but you cut her off. “It’s okay Ginny, why don’t you and Austin go watch the movie, I’ll be up soon.” You smiled at the two.
Ginny stood there for a moment before you shooed her away. Austin left after he had turned to Marcus and said, “If you hurt my sister, I’ll hurt you. Trust me, I’ve stabbed someone with a pencil before.” in a serious tone.
“I promise I won’t, not anymore.” He said with a nod of his head.
You turned back to face Marcus, you attempted to keep your guard up, arms crossed as you raised your brows expectantly at the boy, waiting for him to speak. Marcus held out the teddy bear that was half your size and the chocolates, you silently accepted them, gesturing for him to follow you to the living room. Once you had both gotten seated comfortably on the couch he spoke up.
“Bub, I am so sorry for the way I’ve been treating you and our relationship recently. I know nothing I say will excuse my actions- not that I want it to, I just, want you to know that I’m so sorry for the way I’ve acted recently. And  I-I,” He clasped his hands together before he closed his eyes for a second, taking a deep breath. Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion at his struggle to say whatever he was trying to say.
Marcus opened his eyes glancing at the ceiling before returning to meet your own eyes, his brown eyes slightly glazed over. “Y/n, I love you.” Those three words were not what you were expecting Marcus to say, after all, he hadn’t said them in over a year. You tried to remain stoic, however, Marcus knew you, and he could see the tears that had welled up in your beautiful eyes. You turned away from him to wipe a stray tear that had cascaded down your cheek, you hated how hormonal your pregnancy made you. You faced Marcus once again, his eyes practically begging for you, your touch, your love.
You gave in as you practically jumped into his arms, your head buried in his chest. He embraced you in his arms, as your eyes watered. “I’m sorry I haven’t told you I love you in so long. I just, I guess… since- Noah, I was… I don’t know, scared of losing you, and I- I tried to push you away. I could never commit though, I love you too much to ever truly let you go.” His arms tightened around you as he said those last few words.
You sniffled you can’t believe you had never realized that maybe Marcus had been acting this way due to losing Noah, you were mad at yourself. “I’m sorry too. Sorry for not realizing, god how could I have been so insensitive, all this time…” You whimpered.
“Princess, you have nothing to be sorry for, you were there for me through all of that, and I’m so grateful for you and so sorry I never showed you how much I appreciated it. I don’t know how I’m gonna make up all of this to you, but I will, I want to spend the rest of my life making you happy.” He said, one of his hands cradling your head in his palm.
“And I-, if you decide that you want to keep the baby, I will try my hardest to be the best dad to them that I can.” He gently murmured. His words caused you to slightly pull away so you could meet his eyes.
“Marcus, that day you were in my room, I-I never meant what I said,” Your voice cracked, “I was just so upset because I had told everyone about the baby and my mom didn’t really react that well… and she called me stupid, I- I overreacted and I wish I could take back what I said. I never once thought about aborting the baby, our baby.” You sniffed, as more tears fell from your eyes, prompting Marcus to wipe them.
“I’m sorry you had to tell your family by yourself. I wanted to be there with you, and support you. I never should’ve acted like such a fucking asshole when you told me, I was just scared…and just a fucking dipshit, god. I never should have said what I said to you Y/n, and I will never ever act like that ever again. I know I’m the only person you’ve been with and I should have never questioned if the baby was mine, I was being a complete dick. I know you think I’ve been with others but I haven’t. You were my first, and only.” He said, which slightly shocked you.
“What? How did I not know that…”
“I wanted you to think I was cool and I don’t know somewhat experienced, I was dumb and immature.” He responded. You simply nodded, he was.
Marcus cleared his throat, “Y/n, I-I understand if you don’t want to be with me anymore and you want to co-parent our baby. I mean- I’ve hurt you so, so much and I wish I could take back all that I did to hurt you, and all the pain that I’ve caused you. So, I-I won’t like it, but I’ll understand.”
You looked at Marcus, his eyes full of remorse, and love. “I love you so much Marcus, with all my heart. And after everything that we’ve been through, I love you just as much as the day I first met you. I still want to be with you, and raise our baby.” You smiled, your eyes scintillating with tears. “But, if you ever, ever treat me or speak to me the way you have been, I will not hesitate to end things. Because as much as I love you, I will not allow anyone to treat me like that again, let alone the father of my child.” You said, trying to keep your voice even, so he couldn’t hear the hurt.
Marcus nodded, “Thank you, for giving me a second chance.” He said cradling your face in his hands. He began to lean in closer toward you, and you followed along, closing the distance between the two of you. As your lips met, you felt tears fall from both his and your eyes as you both poured all of your heart and love into the kiss. Your hands wrapped around his neck, one moving up into his hair and running your hands through his silky strands of hair, as you tried to pull him impossibly closer to you. Marcus was just as eager to be as close to you as possible, pulling you in his lap.
Your lips continually met, kissing until you had to pull away to breathe.
“We're having a baby,” He said as tears of joy fell from both of your guy's eyes. You nodded, your grin matching his own. His eyes widened for a second, “What?” You questioned him.
“We still have to tell my parents.”
“Crap, and Max.” You whined.
“I already told her…”
“Oh, okay. What’d she say?” You said slightly relieved and slightly nervous.
“She didn’t really say how she felt just slapped some sense into me, but I can tell she wanted us to keep the baby..” He smiled.
“Well, I’m glad, remind me to thank her.” You returned a smile to him. He nodded, pulling you into him, once again hugging you, which you gladly accepted. You stayed like that for a couple moments.
“Let’s go and watch the movie with Gin and Austin?”
Marcus nodded with a smile, pulling you to stand with him. Once you both made it to your room, you smiled at the sight of your siblings cuddled together on your bed, waiting for you.
“Make some room for us?” You questioned them.
They both turned to you, raised eyebrows of curiosity.
“We’re keeping the baby, so we’re gonna need all the help we can get.” You grinned, hand in Marcus’s own.
Ginny and Austin had smiles plastered on their faces, as they jumped off your bed and ran towards you and Marcus, pulling both of you into a hug. This caused you and Marcus to laugh. You both had a feeling that everything would be okay. As long as you had each other and your families, you’d be able to overcome anything.

A/N: I hope this was good and I hope it made y’all cry because once my writing has brought tears to someone's eyes, I’ll know my writing is at least okay, haha. Anyways I kinda wanna write a follow-up to this like about y’all going to the first doctor appointment, and stuff like that!
ALSO, a lot happened in this. I LOVED miller!reader,  little!sister!Ginny & BFF!Padma, but how do y’all feel about it? 🤨
don't ask about the fic name i feel like it was kinda related to the fic but also not... I was just listening to champagne problems by taylor swift & was like that’ll do 🥲
& this idea just randomly popped in my head and I had to write it and if the ending feels rushed it’s because it kinda was because I wanted to post this for y’all! 💞

DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVENT SEEN GINNY & GEORGIA SEASON 2 TIL THE END ALSO TRIGGER WARNING: MENTION OF SH.

Honestly the way Ginny acts in the 1st 3 episodes is hella annoying I get that she has panic attacks and is going through a lot but she has no right to treat her mum the way she does. Once her & MANG get back together my opinion of her changed she still defo has major issues and can be super annoying at times. My girl Abby is everything like i freaking love her  so much shes killing it this season idk whether its the fact that she's got new hair and thats giving her confidence vibes (Don't like the fact she slept w that Press dude not just bc hes a major asshole but bc she deserves soooo much better) I honestly hope Abbie finds love in the next season bc she derserves it and omg Georgia is still a freaking amazing queen of a mother (i love the southern accent anyway but Georgia's is  freaking amazin😍😘🤣). Anyway Marcus and Gin are sooo cute but its clear hes got  some issues of his own that he needs to work through first before loving anyone else its mad but i do feel for him love him so much but other scenes that made my heart warm were:
MANG being friends again  honest to god Best friend goals for life.
Also the fact that Zion and Paul had their bonding session was hilarious (mainly bc Joe was working at the time and his facial expressions were soo funny🤣🤣🤣) Anyway The very last scene that touched my heart a hell of a lot was Georgia and Ginnys talk about Ginny selfharming I realise that although i was ranting about Ginny in the beginning she has grown a whole lot im glad she sorted things w her mum tho its been nice to see that after episode 3 (off and on bc lets be real here she's still a teenage girl).
Lets not forget Austin my sweet boy man he's now tramautised and will never be the same after shooting his Dad
The fact that Georgia got carted off by the police on her wedding day tho😮😮
Honestly i really hope she finds a way outta this one cause as much as i love Paul (way he stood up for her with Gil after learning all that stuff was hella adorable😍💜) but just bc Austin & Ginny love her and bc she belongs w Paul & Zion and the kids.
I really Reccomend this show if you like drama and Comedy and female empowerment.

I have been rewatching Georgia & Ginny season 1, because there's a season 2 now, and while there's some criticism of this show that is very valid - like over the "oppression olympics" joke and the Taylor swift joke - what I like about this show is that it makes me feel incredibly uncomfortable.
Like, they talk about "we're like Gilmore Girls" in the first episode or so, but this show is not like Gilmore Girls. Both Ginny and Georgia do things that make me feel deeply uneasy and awkward. How Ginny's relationship with Hunter develops, for example, and her interactions with Marcus on the side. Obviously with Georgia, it's the way she deals with Austin's pencil-stabbing behaviour and her stealing money from the town, while she's dating the mayor.
Every episode there is just so much discomfort. And I love that. Like, one review mentioned on Wikipedia writes
"Ginny & Georgia wants us to love the way that Georgia always manages to stay one step ahead... Instead, I kept hoping that Child Protective Services would finally catch up."
But I don't think we're supposed to be rooting for Georgia? I don't root for Georgia. I don't want her to get away with this stuff. I want her to get caught and face the reality of what she's been doing.
