where: sea shanty shack
who: open @aurorabaystarter
Being the new owner of the Shack was easier than he expected, the place basically ran itself, he didn't know why people complained about work so much, it was all going great, it was like living in the hotel again, ordering what he wanted for the kitchen, and not even having to pay for it now.
After getting a beer he returned to his table and smiled when he noticed someone walking in. "Wanna join me for a drink?"

"Shit-!" He cursed to himself barely managing to catch his beat up hat from getting blown off his head. Clint worked to hoist the trap he had set earlier that day from the water while Luna whined, eagerly pawing at guys leg. He peered up at the horizon, making note that the storm he had been watching brewing a few miles out appeared to loom closer. Angry growls of thunder rolled over the sound of the waves crashing into the structure. " 's gonna be a nasty one." The observation came as he finally got the trap over the edge and let it crash down onto the wooden boards. Not as much of a catch as he was hoping for, but it was better than nothing.

"i'm just saying, if no one wanted us to come in here... they would've done a better job of locking the place up." kai spoke, head tilting to the side a bit before he bent down and started to search through some cabinets. the abandoned looking home seeming to still have some untouched items. although, some of it looked like it was barley hanging on. "jackpot!" the male yelled out, standing back up with a bottle of alcohol in his hand and a couple glasses. blowing inside the glasses to try and get the dust out, it came back up and smacked him in the face. a cough following before he set the glasses down on the counter. "it's good for the immune system." he nodded, beginning to pour the liquor into the glass. "you think they got any cheese around this place? bag of shredded parmesan? could be a cute little makeshift wine and cheese type situation." the male commented, his words drenched in sarcasm. "and they say i'm not romantic." he laughed, handing one of the glasses over.

Open: @aurorabaystarter (Feel free to assume connections) Where: Laying on the concrete path in a park
Nina doesn't quite know it got to this point of the night. Drinking at Oasis, then stumbling through the park only to find herself on the ground and looking up at the sky. She accepts where fate and alcohol has brought her, only now realising her company for the night too had fallen onto the ground. "Want some?" Plucking her cigarette out of her mouth between her index and middle finger, succumbed to the asphalt, holds it out towards the other person.
"People suck, y'know? Like so many people in this town choose to be the bastards that they are."

where: driftwood coffee
@aurorabaystarter
"Is it too cold for ice cream?" Mel asked the person that was in front of her if like, she had come in intending to order a cappuccino, or maybe even a hot chocolate, but the more she thought about the hot beverage choices, the more she wanted something cold. "Is there such a thing? I mean a lot of people keep drinking hot coffee during summer, so maybe having a milkshake is not that weird?"

who: anyone @aurorabaystarter (ignore the gif u cant see it's him) where: sharky's
jude had picked ghostface on purpose for his costume. that illusive element of anonymity was hard to justify in real life, but at a costume party, it was part of the charm. he could drink (under the mask, the logistics of getting his glass under the mask was something he was working on), vibe to some music, and not get asked to dance. if there was a time to play into the stereotype the town had thrusted upon him, the time was now. pitty he didn't cut a hole into the costumes mouth so he could go out and have a smoke. navigating around the outskirts of the dance floor, jude ghostface parks himself against the wall with a whisky in hand.

where: the reef
who: open to all !! (@aurorabaystarter) it's already the 4th over here ok fight me on it
there's a box sitting on the counter, and it had been there for a while now. it's white, about the size of a toaster, with the reef's address and the words 'happy birthday' scribbled in armenian beneath her name. if it wasn't already clear to layla why this box had turned up, a set of balloons and a birthday present was drawn below the message in red and blue pens were an egregious reminder it was in fact her birthday. layla had spent most of the evenings staring at it between serving patrons, deciding whether or not she'd open it. pacing, back and forward. the bartender was almost certain who it came from, and it had been twenty years since her mother had vanished off the face of the earth. after the fifth hour of her shift passes on the clock, layla still hadn't touched the mysterious box. well, it was until she catches someone in the corner of her eye sliding into the stool in front of it. "sorry, let me move that out of your way." finally! a guilt-free excuse to put it somewhere out of view — or the bin perhaps.

Cam sipped his Long Island iced tea happily as it was that time in the day to unwind after work and the gym.” Hey thanks for coming out with me, I really needed this.” He told the other sitting next to him.

Aurora bay seaside || Open || @aurorabaystarter
“Nice day, huh? Just the right amount of breeze.” The sound of the waves crashing and the warm breeze put her in a perfectly cozy mood to enjoy the romance novel she’d brought along while getting some sun. Glancing at the person who’d taken residence near her; she cleared her throat and laid the book she’d been thumbing on her chest. “I fear I’ve made a grave mistake though. My legs haven’t seen the light of day in months, and I forgot my sunscreen at home. You wouldn’t happen to have any, would you?”

"I'm telling you, I have good aim...and I will win this duck damn it." Mason said to the other as he adjusted the hold and took aim. "Maybe my eyes are a little dry, how many times have I tried again...three? This is my last one before I have to pay another round. The real question is....is it worth it."

Gracie was stressed, which was normal for her. She wanted to make sure her designs were good enough to not be rejected but of course it didn't go as planned so instead of crying about it, she decided to go grab baked goods to make herself feel better. Gracie turned to look at the other and waved the chocolate croissant. "I'm just saying, these chocolate croissants are the best."

"I think nothing beats being new, I got lost...lost, then I almost lost my phone, it's been a rough day." Claudia said out loud to the other that was nearby, taking a long sip of her drink. "But hey, at least it's not a huge city like LA or New York. God I can only imagine the type of shit I would be in."

open for @aurorabaystarter where: sea glass boutique
Maia straightened the racks in her boutique, the soft hum of pop music creating a soothing background as she tidied up. The Sea Glass Boutique was now her pride and joy, and she loved every moment of running it. Today was particularly busy, with a steady flow of customers filtering in and out, each one hoping to find something special.
As Maia adjusted a display of elegant summer pants - the linen kind, the boutique’s bell chimed, announcing the arrival of a new customer. "Hey, welcome!" She greeted them, "let me know if there's anything I can he-" her attention was drawn to one of the jewelry cases that had made a noise. A few of the necklaces had fallen. Maia let out a heavy sigh, clearly it wasn't the first time it had happened. "Sorry, I swear to god my grandmother is haunting this place and she hates the way I've redecorated."

“Can you believe they have Salmon vodka?” Lacey turned to the other to hold up one of the bottles before setting it back on the shelf, figuring to waste some time by browsing at the store when she knew she probably should have been grocery shopping and alcohol technically wasn’t food, she picked up another bottle to look at. “Makes you wonder what type of person drinks these absurd alcohol choices and before you ask, yes I am procrastinating on doing homework."

"The best part of eating out is the fact you can box up what's left to eat it later." Chase picks up the bowl to start dishing it into the to-go box, pausing when a few pieces fall onto the floor instead. "Oh shit, well... Tell me you had better luck than me."

Cole paced back and forth outside his apartment building, anxiety gnawing at him. He had searched his apartment from top to bottom, but Rocky, his beloved pet rat, was nowhere to be found. "Rocky? Rocky!" Cole called out, his voice echoing through the otherwise quiet night. He could feel the stares of a few neighbors who had stepped out to see what was going on. "You haven't seen my rat have you? He's grey, long tailed...kind of round.."
