Status: Open Location: Outside Elegance Dance Studio @aurorabaystarter
Linnea was standing outside handing out some fliers with another one of her coworkers just to get a little more attention to the studio. Sometimes people wouldn’t realize something was in town unless it was thrown at them. And she was always willing to help someone new dance. “ I promise it’s fun! And it’s all different types of dance “ she replied as someone walked away with the flower without acknowledging her. “ I don’t know if this is working “ she said out loud but gave another smile as she handed another flier out. “ would you like to learn how to dance? “

"I'm telling you, I have good aim...and I will win this duck damn it." Mason said to the other as he adjusted the hold and took aim. "Maybe my eyes are a little dry, how many times have I tried again...three? This is my last one before I have to pay another round. The real question is....is it worth it."

Who: @aurorabaystarter Where: Sharky's
It was a regular occurrence at this point. To be standing and minding his own business when someone fell into another and a drink spilled onto him. It was just the way of the world at this point. No longer did Tobias react in a big way, but instead merely sighed and began to pick up napkins at one of the dispensers. This time there was a partner in the spilling and he immediately offered them the napkins after grabbing them, "Does this also happen to you every time you're here or is it a curse only upon my house?"

"I can't believe they're going to ban TikTok, like who else will tell me about my future like them tarot card readers? I mean they never come true but it's fun to watch the video." Esme said as she placed her phone down onto the table with a sigh. It was tragic because that was one of her outlets of distracting herself from life and watching cute videos of animals. "But I was getting those weird ASMR videos too so I don't know."

Open: @aurorabaystarter location: all-nighter diner
"With the holiday right around the corner again, and perhaps watching Bad Moms one and two, I realize I have no Christmas Spirit. I'm even annoyed with the Christmas music." Haley said as she sat there at the diner sipping on her coffee, her bad habit of drinking caffeine so late. "Am I the only one feeling like the Grinch?" She asked the person near her.

Nelson never wanted to celebrate his birthday on his own because he just felt like that would have been a boring way to spend the day. It was why he’d messaged a few people and told them if they had the time he was going drinking and dancing for his birthday and they were more than welcome to drink on his dime. So when he saw the familiar face he smiled softly. “ what was it? the free drinks or the chance to see my shitty dancing ?”

Since coming back to Aurora Bay, Oriana found herself slightly bored with more free time on her hands. She had never been one to read for fun, but she was almost in her thirties and needed to pick up a new hobby. Stopping by the bookshop, she perused the shelves trying to find something that would be interesting to her. "Excuse me," Oriana cleared her throat and looked at the person beside her. "I'm looking for something light to read. Do you have any recommendations?"

who: open / @aurorabaystarter where: museum of art
Aurora Bay was not a very large town, but it was bigger than the town Holland had grown up in. One of the things that she had gotten used to in her travels was checking out all of the museums and whatnot a town had to offer. While she'd been here for a while now, she hadn't had time to hit any of the museums or other attractions that made Aurora Bay such a nice town to live in. Since moving, she hadn't been to the art museum—and since today she was off, Holland decided to prioritize that over something else. Staring at a portrait, she tilted her head to the side. "So what do you think this is supposed to be?"

Gracie was stressed, which was normal for her. She wanted to make sure her designs were good enough to not be rejected but of course it didn't go as planned so instead of crying about it, she decided to go grab baked goods to make herself feel better. Gracie turned to look at the other and waved the chocolate croissant. "I'm just saying, these chocolate croissants are the best."

"I think nothing beats being new, I got lost...lost, then I almost lost my phone, it's been a rough day." Claudia said out loud to the other that was nearby, taking a long sip of her drink. "But hey, at least it's not a huge city like LA or New York. God I can only imagine the type of shit I would be in."

"Okay okay" Mia chuckled, moving the spoon away and setting it down. "I will admit..." she said slowly "it's rather good. I didn't see that coming." Was she a food snob? The girl who once had nothing to eat. Yes, a little. But at least she was honest about it. "Maybe I should trust you more when it comes to food." she mused.

Achoo!! "...Excuse me," Nicholas sneezed for the hundredth time. It was beautiful here at the festival but spring time and all the pollen was not his favorite combination. Seeing as he was new to Aurora Bay though, he couldn't quite pass up on the event. "Sorry, I'm not great with flowers - both handling or picking nice ones. Any idea what would go together for a nice bouquet?".

Cricket & Nikki's birthday party @ Ocean Crest Rooftop || Open to all
Nikki let out an excited shrill, hands reaching out to take hold of the other's hands. "Oh my God, thank you so much for coming!" she offered with a grin, honestly excited. "I know this is..different, but it's going to be absolutely amazing" she gushed. How many people would throw a prom themed birthday party in the middle of November? Well, two..tada, and welcome to their party!!

open starter: @aurorabaystarter location: hidden gems thrift store
Maybe it was due to it being October that he was already eager to find a costume but here he was looking through every rack possible to find something that stuck out to him. Sure he had time but he didn't want to be one of those people who got everything last minute. He's done that too many times before to be happy with himself. Though he could make something himself if he tried though he knew his YouTube history would be filled with different things about sewing since he was clueless.
"Maybe I'm being too picky. Do you think this would look good on me or this?" He asked someone nearby, wanting a second opinion since his own mind was spiraling. He didn't want to look like a mess so he was hoping the other person would be able to help him out in some way.

who: open / @aurorabaystarter where: near town hall
Bas felt like this was just not his week. After getting a poor grade on an exam in one of his classes, he was honestly looking forward to a bit of a break—have a time to reset. He wasn't even sure if he'd be doing anything for Thanksgiving or if he was going to skip it, but there were options. Leaving town hall after dropping off a document for work—really the last thing he needed to do this week before he was done for the week. "I'm officially done with work for the week." Bas said to the person beside him on the sidewalk. "I feel like I should celebrate."
