Ok ok 48hrs of none stop thinking and the lovely people who gave me more hope and fab theories later heres my wish:

I hope Marian Elopes with Larry.

Because it ties back with season one in that she knows she has to follow her heart. But unlike the first go around no she’s smarter about it, wiser in her choice and reality.

If season one was the down fall of Marian the idealist and season two the arch of Marian the conventionalist then let her next step be that of the woman she has become.

Also Larry Russell is the man tbh. I adore a confident king I mean the man is advocating for the engineer lady to get her due, mean while our dude Dashel is dissing Marian’s career 😒 shmeh

And since I’m wishing all my wishes here plsplspls let the elopement not land well with the families. Let Mrs Russel loose her head and kick the couple out, let her make her husband cut Larry off. I want to see them struggle I want to see them build a life and rise and Larry to work harder than ever and for Marian to realize that they do need society and connections and for her rely on her name to climb back into society this time with purpose and to help her husband land big contracts. I want to watch them build and empire!

Also can we have aunt Agnes please be the one to bring back Marian and Larry into the fold, before Ms Russell? To support them and help them when it really matters! Like I know aunt Agnes is the queen of shade but remember she knows what’s it like to be without money to have nothing but a name. And as much as she can be cutting we know this lady has her families back! And As Marian starts to take on society Agnes is there to teach her how to be a real player. (If Oscar hasn’t lost all their money)

Probably unintentional thing about Shezow but, Obie revealed in a tumblr ask that Aunt Agnes died of fright against a villain that represents one’s greatest fears, the Shezows before and after her had the ability to fly but she never could, and the way Guy learned to fly was by conquering his fears.

Fear is an indirect repeating and grave theme of Aunt Agnes’ character, her weakness and downfall, question is... what did she fear so much?

Where did Aunt Ada live?

In the series, it is mentioned that Ada has lived with Agnes since the death of Agnes’ husband, 10 years before the plot of gilded age start. But where did she live before that? Has it been mentioned? Because Marian didn’t know her, so Ada can’t have lived with Marian’s family even though it should have been Henry’s job to take care of her as her brother. Did Agnes or Henry give her an allowance so she could live by herself? I must knoooow

Only three episodes left in The Gilded Age season 2, folks. Larry and Marian went for a lovely walk. I have a feeling cousin Dashell is gonna propose to Marian (ITS SUPPOSED TO BE YOU LARRY). I love how they also show the servents in the show, I'm very happy that they discovered crazy lady's schemes and stopped them. I'm also very happy that Aunt Agnes decided to go to her sisters Wedding.

I'm hoping that Gladys will have her happy ending, and not how Conseulo Vanderbilt. (The Russell are based on the Vanderbilts).

I really wanna see more of newport mansions in the series, especially The Breakers. If they can show the Elms, why can't they do the Breakers?

Hides her ears behind her hair so she can hide her "lame" earrings that Gideon gave her. Secretly treasures the gift.

I'd have her outgrow her pretty silk skirt, but I thought it showed more development for her to keep it and use it for adventures, even though it's not shiny and perfect anymore.

Since her arc doesn't start with Mabel, her zodiac symbol is now a platinum ring that she wears as a necklace.

Gideon Gleeful

No amulet, no grey hair! He's a ginger now. "Oh but iden in the show he had white hair when he was a baby"shhh shhh

Early face wrinkles instead of grey hair due to smiling all the time. Because he's a positive person! And also feels like his emotions are a burden.

Unlike Pacifica, Gideon doesn't wear gloves to work. He gets a lot of scabs and scrapes and oil on his hands.

Gideon's new symbol is an upside-down star!!! Like the original symbol rotated 180 degrees and without the eye ^_^

Aunt Agnes

She's had her dress since Gideon was born. It's old, she's patched it up a few times.

Stress bakes. At least the kids like the sweets? Uses that as an excuse to check on them.

Look deep into her eyes. She is much more prone to evil than she appears. (More petty crimes like stealing fruit. Like a gentler stan). Much happier with a sane son and a much-needed divorce.

Agnes' symbol is like a geometric crescent thing?? Hard to draw.

Next up is either the Mystery Shack (needs a new name...) crew or the gleeful auto staff! ^_^

Peter: Mojo Dojo Casa House Ken

I just know Peter would dress up as Ken! He picked Mojo Dojo Casa House Ken because he wants to look cool and not wear a shirt.

Catherine: Barbie or clever pun costume

I could see Catherine doing one of two things; either she dresses up as Barbie because she's coordinating with Peter (and she probably likes the movie since it's feminist) or she's doing a pun costume that she came up with herself and thinks is really clever.

Grigor and George: Bonnie and Clyde

Couple's costume but well executed. George probably started putting together the costume months in advance. They've got super cool gunshot makeup and Grigor is stoked that he gets to carry a prop gun (that he'll probably pretend to shoot Peter, Arkady, and Velementov with). They win best costume.

Tatyana: Sexy badger

She's totally the kind of girl to wear lingerie and animal ears Mean Girls style. We saw her put ink on her nose to look like a badger in the printing press episode, so I think she would be a sexy badger.

Arkady: Han Solo

I definitely think Arkady would dress up as someone cool and suave like Han Solo (he would also pretend to shoot the guys with his blaster). He wanted to be Ken, but then he found out Peter was dressing up as Ken and he had to switch.

Orlo: Some obscure philosopher

He would spend the whole evening trying to explain his costume and get progressively more frustrated that nobody knows who he is.

Archie: Nothing

Of course Archie thinks that Halloween is the devil's holiday, but he still shows up at the party to stare at everyone in sexy costumes. People keep telling him "nice costume" even though he's wearing his normal clothes.

Elizabeth: Floor show Frank-N-Furter

Elizabeth definitely goes to midnight screenings of Rocky Horror every year. She's dressing up as floor show Frank because (like real life Elizabeth) she wants to show off her legs.

Agnes and Hugo: Misunderstood couple's costume

Agnes would be like "we should do Grease". Hugo would be like "got it" and show up in a toga.

Velementov: One of those pairs of glasses with a nose and moustache

Velementov is doing the lowest effort costume possible. He literally just came to the party to get drunk.

Marial: Sexy angel

Marial is probably wearing a super basic costume. Archie yells at her because he thinks her costume is blasphemous.
