thinking about a humanoid twoey form that looks y'know, human, but then in the real intense moments and tonal shifts his movements become stiff and jerky, bending at odd angles and his face stretching in unnatural ways. i feel like it could make him more unsettling, especially if the form presents as almost completely human initially ! this would probably work well with a more 'charming' portrayal of twoey to really show that juxtaposition between the illusion put forward and the creepy alien form underneath !!!

side note i love versions of twoey that can have more stage presence and interactions with the cast, can u imagine how much more eery and awful it would be to see a 'person' eating the cast one by one >:]

Audrey (Little Shop) Appreciation Post

Extremely random rant incoming...

OMG.. They could never make me hate Audrey. I've LITERALLY never seen an actor of her that wasn't amazing in their own unique ways. I love all of the renditions that I've seen of her, but I also saw the Ford's Theatre production, and Chani Wereley was BY FAR my favorite Audrey... I also met her, as well as a few other cast members, but that's off topic ....

Audrey's character is so comforting to me, and I'd literally want to be her BFF if I could (day 100 of wanting to be BFFs with fictional characters!) LIKE, GAHHH. SHE HAS AN AMAZING PERSONALITY.

This is a a little bit related to my last post about Audrey’s costuming but something I really want in more productions is more trans women cast as Audrey. I think it adds another interesting layer to her arc. Especially if they do the costuming correctly. Audrey’s arc is all about her trying to behave and dress in a way she thinks other people want her to. She’s locking herself into a very narrow view of womanhood and femininity because she thinks she’s supposed to. And then she realizes she doesn’t have to, and starts to dress how she wants to and lets herself go from societal expectations for lower class women. Idk I just think that hits especially hard when she’s played by a trans woman and they should cast more trans women as Audrey.
