The Truth About The Moon

My first ever animatic! It took several months, but we got there! I’m much more proud of the ending then the start cause it’s newer, but again, for a first attempt, I don’t think it’s bad!

I am so sick of “if you remember, there is one person in this house who didn’t want that damn dog” as a fucking excuse not to take care of her. I’m trying to do homework for 4 different classes, sorry I’m not constantly watching the puppy who peed on the floor once. My step dad has said that stupid sentence 50 fucking times since we got our puppy about a month and a half ago. It’s not my fucking job to watch her 24/7, I’m busy. I have band, theatre, math, and heath stuff I should be doing but noooooo, watch the dog while I sit on my phone in the bathroom for an hour. I take care of her, but seriously, he can help sometimes.

redfinch but albert is military and deployed!!

finch stays curled up on the couch a lot in their apartment, huddled in a hoodie albert left behind.

albert keeps a picture of finch with him pretty much 24/7, uses it as motivation.

he sends back a copy of his dogtags and finch wears them every day, forever.

albert calls when he can but their calls are always short because otherwise, they will both start sobbing.

he finally finishes his service and travels for hours upon hours on end just to get home to see finch.

he's still in uniform when he shows up on their doorstep. he rings the doorbell and hears finch shout "go away race" so he rings again. when finch opens up, his phone and the cup in his hand drop.

finch SHRIEKS, albert starts crying, and finch jumps on him. he holds finch up, the two of them clutching onto each other for dear life. theyre both crying at that point, finch muttering desperately about how much he missed albert.

they just stand on their doorstep, crying, and holding each other.

i don’t know about you guys but the main reason i am still on tumblr in 2024 is BECAUSE it is the most cloutless least influential social media app out there and that is the experience i am after. absolutely none of this will ever translate into significant attention or real success in my life and that is so beautiful.
