guess who just went to the texas fair..... i tried to honor everyones bear encouragement and ate as much as i could. fried cheese curds, spicy garlic fries, mango ice cream, of course funnel cake with an ungodly amount of whipped cream, tons of water, iced pineapple jarrito soda, and something ive never heard of til now called rattlesnake lemonade (lemonade with tajin and i think jalapeño juice, holy shit). alsp some snacks for home. did i do good 🐻

why did din spend all that time trying to get peli (random tatooine mechanic) to find a new razor crest (extremely rare old ship) when he is friends with several rich, famous, and influential people who probably have access to the auctions and collections where said rare old ship could be found. two of his friends live in castles for erus sake

loom angst again sorry

is it stupid to buy a loom if i'm planning to replace it with the 50cm version of itself, possibly quite soon/as soon as i get frustrated with only making 9" wide fabric. i'd currently be getting a good deal on the loom + stand, but i'd have to resell the loom for pretty close to its original sale price in order to have meaningfully saved money on the accessories it comes with after buying a new one, & i really don't think that's realistic. so i'm going to go with "yes that is dumb" and may just buy a new loom at rhinebeck if no one's selling a table loom near here that i can get to and actually would want

stress dream last night about my 1st craft market today really jumped the shark. apparently my subconscious answer to "what's the worst that can happen while i try to sell my crochet + baked goods" is WEREWOLF ATTACK

#was stressing before bed and thinking whats the worst that can happen. then i dreamed that i got locked in the basement of the building with #a bull. a very angry bull. bc some guy brought his cattle to auction off i guess? then i escaped. but i walked right into a werewolf lair #truly one of the dreams of all time.

ok, got high last night as part of the agreement with myself, i have retained the ability to smoke better because one was a lil too much, going to have relearn my dosage limits

i am full of critique for book 3′s plot and how there was so much that could have been added to make it interesting, but i romance nate and mason so i’m eating good

#and so is nate <3 #playing twc #twc spoilers #SOOOOOO much had potential but it felt so rushed #god and the whole rebecca dilemma #why couldn't it just be elidor??#why can't my combat detective get out of that situation?#the way you can miss out on so many scenes with the blood drive #the auction was SO short #the trapper guy wasn't intimidating??#Sin felt so weirdly nonexistent #there are almost no consequences??#poor F feels hm...flanderized?? watching my wife romance felix was kind of :(#you know what would've been cool?? getting to explore more world building and getting attached #to those kidnap victims even if its just pics and details #instead of just 'ah yes i do feel bad about this' like who are they!!!#but nate ate charlotte out and banged on a pool table and mason's whole 🥺🥺 arc killed me #still excited for book 4 though. sighs sadly for the next 3+ years

HAPPY PRIDE GUYS (and almost one year to this comic!)

I’ve grown so so much since this comic and I couldn’t be more greatful. I haven’t been sharing art as much because of some more professional opportunities I’ve been pursuing, but I really couldn’t have gotten anywhere without this comic. Never had I expected this to have gotten as big as I did, but I couldn’t be more greatful. I’m so so glad I could show so many people my trans Don and Leo sib headcanon. This comic was a huge comfort to me when I originally made it on a whim at three in the morning, and to know it could be that for others is more than I could ask.

Everyone who’s interacted with this comic has become a huge part of my art career going foreword, so once again, thanks so much for everything.
