Why, Emperor, it might just benefit us both if you abstain from sending any more Imperial guards and let Alderaan provide our own security! Now sign for what is definitely not a shipment of medical supplies directly to the rebellion. Not at all."

So Bail, get this, Bail Organa sends some ships to an Imperial-controlled planet. And those ships get stolen by The Rebel Scum. Bail goes ‘how dare you let my ships get stolen I demand full compensation’ and the Imperial Senate goes ‘ohhhHH of course of COURSE we are SO SORRY here are your credits Mr. Senator Organa sir’ and Bail, get this, Bail uses those credits to buy MORE ships and send them on Relief Missions to planets Suffering From Rebel Presences and those ships get STOLEN right out from under the Imperials’ noses. How could this be??? The INCOMPETENCE. In THEIR GREAT EMPIRE.

And Palpatine, who knows Bail had tea on the weekends with Obi-Wan Kenobi, has seventeen different reports on his desk every week telling him that the Empire is compensating Alderaan for losses sustained on Imperial planets and he’s seething as he signs them because he just KNOWS it’s never an accident and he’s actually funding the Rebellion but he can’t do anything about it because Bail, when asked about it, just presses a dramatic hand to his own heart and says, ‘why, Emperor, I have NO IDEA how The Rebel Scum keeps acquiring my vessels. Maybe if YOUR security forces were more effective we wouldn’t be in such a TRAGIC situation so often. Sign here.’

i've had an idea rattling around for a while, inspired by the friendship is space magic ending, where neyo, gree, and bacara drag maul back for The Jedi To Deal With. he is accompanied by savage, feral, and morley the talking snake. anyways eventually maul gets somewhat rehabilitated and the opress brothers are promptly recruited for boba's burgeoning Fullfall squad :)

This is a very in theory question (Cause no ship could beat Licorice to me, ok redbeans would) but since I'm assuming the beloveds when they were kids and just started out would be at the same level of strength, If another beloved (or young hero) had been the first to really do damage to BB would he have gone for them? Since you said that Sweetheart being the first person to actually hit him and getting your ass kicked was a normal reason monstrums liked who they liked.

Sure, that could be my Licorice biased brain talking (it is) but I think I also mentioned (if not then I am now) that the object of a Monstrum's affections could also best them. So sometimes a super strong Monstrum might be into a weaker Monstrum who outsmarted them. That's still an ass kicking even if it's not physical. There's also appearance that comes into play because not every Monstrum that kicks another Monstrum's ass is said Monstrum's type.

It's like when we humans see someone super strong and it's impressive or someone super pretty and we're stunned but we aren't immediately in love with them.

Her kicking his ass definitely put her on the radar of attention for him but Sweetheart also has an approachable personality, a soft heart, and was more open to talking to Bitterbat instead of blindly just following "KILL THE VILLAIN ASK NO QUESTIONS"

Plus she was and still is a cutie which was a plus in Bitterbat's book.

To entertain the thought, yeah Bitterbat might be impressed if he had someone else kick his ass but there's a rock solid 99.9% chance it would not have ended in "I'M GONNA DATE YOU" and instead would have ended in "YOU ARE NOW MY RIVAL"

my oldest boba fett headcanon, from before i even knew what a headcanon was, is that this man, who regularly whiled away the hours on kamino as a boy reading novels and who has a job that often requires him to do nothing more than stand around looking menacing for hours on end, definitely has an e-reader app installed on his helmet

hello! I love your work with the Soft Wars EU (16 is canon to me now). do you think kix ever mentioned also being a CC adoptee or did he and rex like. run in to each other while visiting 16&17's house?

also just wanted to say how i particularly like the ways the alphas' naming culture is subtly distinct from the CCs/CTs in how they use their numbers or different names/nicknames with different people (like 44/medix/meds) that go beyond the normal -ika type nicknames! (which inspired the headcanon that fordo(a-77) and 17 both go by Sev when in the same room/conversation specifically to confuse people lol)

Regarding Kix, I think he was quieter about being a CC adoptee compared to Rex and Keeli haha but he never tried to hide it. That would have been pretty difficult anyways, since Brix is both his ori'vod and the 212th CMO in my world! So Rex knew about it long before the Vode went Home 😄

The idea of 17 and Fordo both going by Sev to fuck with people is VERY funny to me, especially since that is a canon character in... one of the video games or book series I think? I am not the most widely versed in those areas of SW media lol but I'm like 95% sure that there's a canon clone named Sev that I've seen people talking about haha

Hanabi sits at the ruins. She WAS lost but now she's just distracted. Her eyes looks at the scenery ahead.

Yesteryear. She heard people talking about it upon her arrival. This is Day 2 of being stuck in this place. You hear a lot of conversations from people. SO far, she's learned that there are a lot of cafes and bakeries (she's got this redbean paste and delicious boba tea from one of them!) She's learned that there is an amusement park (and even went there), libraries, a floating island, a desert, beaches...This place has everything. She's heard of some dangerous parts of this island as well and put a mental note to never visit those places. NO matter how curious she may be.

So, this young teen just sits at one of the rocks by the ruins, sipping on her boba tea and chewing on the tapioca balls.

"Haru-ya...do you think everyone back home is...." safe? If Sukuna was here then surely the dangers were gone back home. The danger would follow him here, wouldn't it?

LEGO NINJAGO SUBTERRANEAN AU (p4)

These are original designs so I’d appreciate you didn’t heavily reference, steal or copy them :)

If you haven’t seen the other posts and aren’t aware what Subterranean AU is, again see the post before this one. Easy explanation, it’s a magical boy au with the ninjas as magical boys. In the AU the boys are all tied together to Lloyd in ribbons of fate. The AU takes place in an original setting I made for a group of ocs that I out the ninjas in.

If you seen the original you already know this but if not, this is his role in the story

Cole is very big in his disdain for magic. He doesn’t like other magics and he hates his own magic. For plot reasons, he almost never uses his magic unless he feels it would be the right thing to do. He wants to help people and he isn’t completely hopeless but he still hates magic. He was raised with the hating magic beliefs and it was hard to lose them even when he found out he himself was magic. Really it was Lloyd who got him to move on from his past. Let go of the anger that was rotting him and let him feel light again. Because he was fated with Lloyd, he felt more responsibility to protect him, and not let another situation like that ever happen again. He learned young to ignore the pains from an Ananthema attack, so being on the team actually fighting them? It was hard for him to adjust too. Cole is an easy guy, he didn’t like holding grudges, he didn’t like feeling so hateful all the time and he appreciates the others for helping him out if it. Especially Zane, who helped the most in getting him out of his self loathing. While he does end of trusting the others he still has little liking for other magic users, though he hates their government more.

His magical boy design is visually based off boxing and kick boxing. I wanted him to have this more hands on fighting look and style, cause I thought it fit both his personality and element, I wanted him to be similar to Toph from AtLA. I tied his hair back like the movie and colored it grey cause I’m really fond of changing the hair colors of my magical designs, and I thought the grey looked nice. I kept his color pallet to mainly black,b browns greys and gold. Or well, a deep yellow more like. I admit it comes off a bit more metal than earthy cause I always associate green with earth but green is kind of taken by Lloyd. I’ll be honest when I say I mainly used this gold-ish brown cause it was in my kickboxing reference imagine and thought it looked nice in him. I made his eyes green as a reference to him being green when turned into a ghost. His fate bows are around his wrists, and his magic gem is on his back.

Little trivia on him.

He lives alone in an apartment with a cat named Redbean. Named after the fact that when he found her, she had her paw dipped in red paint and he thought it was funny. She was a stray.

Again, he’s somewhere between age 16-18 depending on how old you think the ninjas are, I’m indifferent

He goes to the same public school as the others.

His powers aren’t just earth and controlling rocks. While he can use geokinesis. he can also use instanginility that he uses to phase through things like a ghost. he does this by passing his atoms between the spaces of other particles in the surface he is "going through". He can still control earth, to a much stronger degree than the show. But I thought giving him a power to pay homage to his time as a ghost would be fun!! While every subterranean character does get a significant strength boost when transformed, Cole's is by a larger degree.

He works at a movie theatre, cause all the places he actually wanted to work at didn't allow him. He's still salty about it.

He usually kept to himself at school, always wearing his headphones and not talking to many people. Not gonna lie he was kinda emo (/j) but one day he feels himself drawn to this one library. He doesn't know why, cause he isn't really into reading but he goes in anyways. He meets the others there, He is the last to join the group.

When he does join, he's kind of an asshole honestly. He kinda has a drastic personality difference from the show, except the asshole personality is really more of a front? Like he does have his goofy, tough but sweet personality but it's hidden behind walls because he isn't very trusting. He's got some serious Trauma (which everyone does in this au, Subterranean isn't a fun environment to be in) and he can come off as cold and uncaring, more than Zane sometimes. But he does warm up to the others and becomes the cake loving himbo we all know and love.

honestly hilarious how gideon did all that because he wants to be mandalorian when the mandalorians are possibly the easiest culture in the galaxy to join. literally all he had to do was show up and be like 'hello please adopt me' and there you go.

There's been a lot of posts about how Moff Gideon is appropriating Mandalorian culture that I've found extremely interesting. Even Giancarlo Esposito pointed out that this isn't just a matter of simple exploitation: he wants to be a Mandalorian.

"Moff Gideon would really like to be a Mandalorian, and there’s a reason for it. That’s his psychological, real problem. He really wants to be a Mandalorian because the strength and power of the Mandalorians is not necessarily that they are individuals. It’s that they are part of a group that have an ideal and a morality."

His new armor even has the ka'rta beskar on it, so it's really not just that he's stolen beskar alloy to make himself a cool set of armor: it is Mandalorian-style armor specifically. However, it's also armor based explicitly on the armor of Death Watch Maul loyalists.

It's reasonable to conclude that Moff Gideon would alike himself to Maul, an outsider who was able to inherit Mandalorian identity only through the possession of the darksaber. He would see Maul as a legitimizing path to Mandalorian-ness. I could easily see him idolizing Maul.

Bo-Katan - who rejected Maul instantly - would indeed be someone that Gideon would wish to destroy, but not by killing her. He once mocked Bo-Katan for needing the darksaber to legitimize herself, but his glee wasn't simple cruelty. He was delighted that she was legitimizing the darksaber itself, which in turn would legitimize him if he possessed it.

I think it's also telling that the episode goes out of its way for Din to say that no, the darksaber isn't important, and the belief that it is is a disservice to us. The darksaber isn't really what makes Bo-Katan a good leader.

Moff Gideon wants to be a Mandalorian, but like any fascist who appropriates another culture, he is only able to engage with the symbols and artifacts rather than engaging in a deep, life-long commitment to the culture and identity itself.

Do you have a Little? Or is that something you’re into at all?

When I first saw this Ask I thought it surely must be a mistake, a person can browse through my blog and see many Dd/lg related posts. Then I got to thinking about it, it wasn't a mistake because even though I tag everything as Dd/lg related, my posts as of late really haven't related to the topic at all.

Is it something that I'm into? That's a simple question with a complicated answer. An answer I have thought long and hard since receiving this Ask. I was deeply into it and loved every aspect of it, especially the caregiver roles. I've had many people darken the door of my blog seeking help, whether it just be encouragement, guidance, education, love, whatever. I loved giving it, I still do but not with the veracity I once did. I've had littles, people I still care deeply for, but my second ruined it for those to follow. You can't give someone your heart and soul and them you and not expect to fall apart when they tell you it's best if you go to just being friends. Talk about having the wind knocked out of you. Thoughts run rampant through your mind, "I'm not good enough, she never truly loved me like she said, what did I do wrong", you know, every thought imaginable. It plants seeds in you, seeds that make walls. It even affected my home life which is a non-Dd/lg life. You try and try to trust again but you know that in the end, it will end. It isn't fair to those that have followed because of those seeded walls, but I try hard not to let them see my walls. I'm human, I fail and I know that I do. It doesn't mean I love any less, I'm just more guarded with whom I let fully in. You know if you are one that is fully in my heart, you are a rare few.

In Jack's case-just about everyone in town was aware about him pining since he's such a transparent person.

For Najla, Ashe was mainly the only person since she knew what it was like to crush on someone and Najla was showing all the signs. It didn't help that she made the mistake of telling her on a whim one day.

She regrets it.

Kai isn’t fully aware but he also is and thus...he acts as a secret wingman
