An idea that's been stirring in my head for a while, a softer, unassuming Lamb that was previously already raised in a cultish environment, so they saw the culling of her kind as an omen.

Though, once paying for her sins in the execution, the suffering did not end, and they were sought to be a vessel for Death itself. However, over time the crown began to influence her, whispering like the serpent to Eve and convincing them to overthrow the betrayed bishop. "Laine", as she named herself, now listens to the crown as an advisor, and is revered by the cult as a goddess of salvation.

No one questions where the former god of death might have vanished to.

headcanon i JUST thought of about idol ink au

error hates pictures but ink and blue absolutely have secret pictures of him just. on the job. because he's SO hot.

they have literally only one photo of him looking at the camera but that's only because he agreed to ONE. ONE PHOTO. and he looks deadpan in it (he thinks his smile is ugly :[ )

also. when error is blushing around them he uses his cap to cover his face. like full on takes it off his head and covers his entire face. im not taking other opinions.

Instead of tires Jason happens upon a fancy drone Tim had stashed somewhere. He takes advantage of the situation (this kind of fancy tech sells for a thousand bucks at LEAST!), hot wires the thing, and takes off with it. Sadly, Jason misses the tracker so Tim sniffs him out within the hour, thinking Batman’s onto him (who else could have the knowledge to wire HIS advanced tech but Bruce?)

Tim kind of blue screens when he sneaks into Jay’s hideout and finds a malnourished kid nibbling on a piece of stale bread and the drone clutched in one hand

Jason thinks he’s done for when the new crime lord shows up. Like- that guy cut the heads off several people only a few days ago and- oh, oh god, he just stole from a crime lord. Oh no, oh shit-

Tim is still blue screening and thus totally misses that the kid went into fight or flight mode until the drone comes sailing at him and hits him clean in the face.

Jason, in his panic, jumps right out the window (death via fall is better than having his head cut off, or whatever else perverted thing the new crime lord is into)

Tim barely manages to react in time to keep Jason from plummeting several stories, having even more trouble dragging the kid back onto solid ground because the little shit actually tries biting him! (Tim is lowkey impressed)

Jason never stops fighting, managing some solid kicks and punches that Tim’s gonna feel for several days, and keeps spitting at Tim even after he’s finally got him pinned

Tim, after inspecting Jason’s handiwork on the drone and considering the kid’s fighting spirit (not to mention the ill seated realization that Jason might not make it much longer on the streets with how thin he is), knows that the kid is either gonna die or be picked up by Batman (or god forbid, Damian) if he finds out about the kid’s skills. So really, it’s a no brainer what Tim has to do now

Bruce and Damian think they’ll have to do another tally mark in the list of crimes Hood committed, now thinking not even street kids are safe from him

Jason’s not sure he likes this weird arrangement, but Hood turns out to be surprisingly young and doesn’t want him to do any weird crime stuff and actually teaches him things about tech, so… he thinks he’ll stay. For now.

(Tim spends exactly one week around the spitfire that is Jason and decides that, yes, he would kill everyone in Gotham and then himself if anything happened to him. Not that he’s gonna let anybody know that.)

Okay so I got two ideas for godified Odysseus (inspired by @fictionforlifenz frayed feather spin-offs)

Odysseus, God of hatred and vengeance

It was his defeating of Poseidon that really cemented him in the position. The rest of the Odyssey goes the same, except the combination of besting a god in battle and the traces of godblood from Hermes results in his assent. The slaughter of the suitors is what grants him his domain. He doesn't realize what's happened until he gets a minor injury and instead of red it's gold.

Sacred animal being weasels for their mischievous and cunning nature. Though not his official domains, he's known for being just as cunning and tricky as his kin. Has three sets of wings like Hermes, head, lower back, and ankles. May appear as an osprey or weasel. Far more prone to general shitheadery, likes messing with mortals as much as he aids. More familiar with mortals than some of the other gods. Uses a "glamor" type spell to hide his wings from mortals.

Slabtek hockey au where Tango is on the local hockey team in a small town when he notices a face in the stands he'd never seen before, but mystery man shows up for every practice and game just to watch. Eventually he gets the guys name, Etho, and starts trying to learn about why they show up but never play. And on the other side, Etho just moved away from home after an accident that lost him his eye and is trying to get comfortable around ice again only for some random winger to take interest when he was trying very hard to avoid attention.

Some of the other major siblings in cycle of hands. All of them go through a journey of self discovery when they leave the castle and join shen yuan.

Luo Xihui is the insitgator for the entire story where upon realizing that she is going to be married off at 15 she runs away with her "twin" Luo Xuqiang and come across shen yuan. Mushroom kid was always viewed as a monster and disgusting to the wives and fellow children due to the way he looks. He has a damaged eye, chimerism and is either mute or selectively mute. This left him isolated from his siblings and those around him except his mom. His mother was a sun dew mushroom that cultivated into a human form and eventually had him. A lot of his birth defects are caused by his mom being from the fungi kingdom and his father being animalia. He finds out he can "teleport" via the use of a mycelium network he has made under the palace and eventually the outside world. He loves to travel. Flower kid has damaged meridians caused by lingering damaged caused to his mother by without a cure. He was meant to die before hitting one year old but binghe traveled to the ends of the earth to find him a flower that corrected his damaged meridians. He knows he owes his father his respect for keeping him alive but he is also upset that after this act of kindness he never saw his father again. He did get bullied for the flowers and veins growing out of his skin which leaves him with some chronic pain as he can feel them growing over time. Tian Feng is binghe's first born and is meant to replace binghe eventually, but he knows that will never happen. He was always under his father's watch and hated it growing up never feeling he has time for himself. He was expected to be a copy of binghe which he plainly isnt. He is a master of dream manipulation and uses these to help his siblings with nightmares but it eventually comes too much when he is helping newborn siblings with their sleep and hes 20 something. He sees binghe bring in wives that are younger than he is and it fills him with disgust. He is constantly out of the palace visiting the world outside and trying to fix whatever he can. He doesn't regret leaving but some part of him wants to stay to help his mother with her dreams.

He huffs, clicking his annoyance in a sharp staccato from the back of his throat, before settling back more firmly against Bruce’s back, arms loosely circling the larger mer’s neck.

Just wait until I’m all grown, Jason thinks mulishly.

Dick and Bruce both tend to laugh or nip at him fondly whenever he voices this. Like they’re indulging a tiny pup saying they’re gonna be the strongest of them all.

Thing is, Jason knows he will be. Bruce and Dick just don’t get that he’s being serious. Neither does Alfred, probably. But at least he’s kind enough not to laugh.

But Jason doesn’t really care, either way.

Bruce rumbles a warning when Dick gets too close again with the obvious intent to continue his teasing, angling his unprotected belly towards the reef mer so Jason is safely hidden on the other side.

Dick pouts, coming closer regardless.

And promptly gets hit in the face with the wispy end of Jason’s long tail.

Dick splutters. Bruce’s shoulders quiver with suppressed laughter. And Jason shoots the older mer a toothy grin from over the safety of Bruce’s shoulder.
