Can I request genderfluid! Reader just chilling out with the strawhats. Maybe they have a devil fruit that lets them have complete control of their body (within reason). I imagine Luffy, Chopper and Franky find it very cool, chopper and robin definitely want to find out the limits of their devil fruit. Sanji gets very flustered by their changing (they definitely use their fem body to get more snacks) and shopping trips with Nami. The rest of the straw hats are pretty indifferent to their devil fruit power (unless you have a cool idea for them) Also feel free to play around with how the devil fruit works if you want!

The Thousand Sunny bobbed gently on a calm, glittering sea. No Navy. No bounty hunters. No chaos.

In other words: the perfect day to do absolutely nothing.

“Y/Nnnnn!” Luffy's voice echoed across the deck, limbs flailing as he bolted toward you. “Let me see the stretchy one again!”

You stretched your arm lazily above your head, grinning. “Stretchy one, huh? You mean this one?”

Your form rippled slightly as your body shifted—arms lengthening, fingers flexing like elastic, before snapping back into a different version of yourself. Taller. Buffer. Your voice a little deeper, cocking an eyebrow at Luffy.

“YOOOOOOO!” Luffy gasped, eyes sparkling. “THAT’S SO COOOL!”

Franky, polishing something vaguely explosive nearby, paused to adjust his shades and nod appreciatively. “That’s a super fruit you got there, bro! Sis? Bro-sis?”

You chuckled, morphing again mid-sentence—your frame shrinking slightly, hair flowing out longer, features softening. “I’m just me, Franky. But hey, you can call me whatever fits. I shift more than this ship does in a storm.”

Chopper practically popped out of the infirmary, notebook in hand and eyes gleaming with scientific curiosity. “I have so many questions! Do your organs change? Your bones? What about your hormone levels—do you produce different amounts depending on your form?!”

You laughed and ruffled his hat, ignoring how Robin subtly appeared at your side, gaze curious but calm. “You’ll have to join the queue, Chopper. Robin’s been cataloging me like I’m a sentient encyclopedia entry.”

“I simply find the limits of your Devil Fruit fascinating,” Robin said with a small smile. “The Body-Body Fruit, was it? Total control of your own biology, within reason. Do you have to imagine the change or feel it?”

“Little of both,” you answered. “It’s not like drawing a picture—it’s more like… feeling myself stretch toward a different version of me.”

Robin tilted her head. “Have you ever considered turning into someone with wings?”

“Please don’t give them ideas,” Zoro muttered from his napping spot against the mast. “They’re weird enough already.”

You stuck your tongue out at him. “Love you too, sword boy.”

Sanji exited the kitchen right on cue, tray balanced on one hand. “Snacks are ready for—”

You switched to your more femme form with a flick of your wrist. Your hair bounced, your eyelashes batted, and your voice dropped to a sugary, singsong pitch.

“Saaaanjiii~ You’re so sweet to me~ Could I maybe get an extra plate? For all this shapeshifting, I really must replenish my calories~”

His nose erupted in a predictable geyser of blood as he collapsed backward with a dreamy sigh. “A-a-a-anything f-for you, mademoiselle…”

You winked at Nami, who had just walked up beside you with a shopping list.

“You’re so evil,” she said fondly, grabbing your arm. “Now c’mon. I need backup for the next island. Pretty faces get better discounts.”

“Just say you like shopping with me,” you teased, shifting seamlessly between forms as you posed dramatically. “This look or this one? Or maybe—” you flicked to something androgynous, long coat billowing behind you. “Battle-ready discount mode?”

Nami laughed, dragging you toward the helm. “Doesn’t matter, you’re paying half.”

Later, as the sun began to dip and the crew gathered for dinner, you relaxed in your favorite form—somewhere in-between. Hair tousled, voice warm and casual, you leaned back and watched your chaotic family bicker, laugh, and eat like pirates do.

Usopp was trying to convince Luffy he could also control his body with sheer will (“I can stretch my nose!” he claimed, yanking it violently). Brook played background music that didn’t match the tone at all. Sanji sneakily brought you another plate.

“I don’t get what the big deal is,” Zoro said, sipping from his sake cup, eyes half-lidded. “They change shape. So what?”

“Yeah,” you replied, mouth full. “And you fall asleep in every corner of the ship. We’ve all got talents.”

Robin smiled over the rim of her wine glass. “I think it’s nice. You’re truly yourself, however you choose to look.”

Luffy threw an arm around your shoulders. “You’re awesome! I wanna see what else you can do tomorrow!”

You leaned into him, grinning. “I’ll show you the stretchy one again, captain. But only if you don’t eat my dessert this time.”

“NO PROMISES!”

It started innocently enough.

Chopper had asked to do some basic testing—nothing invasive, just a few form swaps, flexibility checks, a reaction speed test, maybe a tissue sample or two (he was very polite about that part).

Robin had also taken notes. Pages and pages of neat handwriting. You were about 60% sure she was planning to write a paper on you.

“Can you shift muscle mass instantly?” “Yup.” “What about vocal pitch without altering your throat?” “Sure.” “Can you make yourself taller and still retain agility?” “Wanna race?” “What happens if you do this—” poke

Meanwhile, Luffy sat cross-legged in the middle of the deck, watching with wide, fascinated eyes. He clapped every time you transformed. “DO THE TALL ONE AGAIN!” You stretched up into a tall, broad-shouldered build with a sly grin. “Like this?” “YEAHHH! SO COOOOOL!”

Zoro leaned against the rail, arms crossed, brow furrowed.

“…Y’know,” he said after a while, squinting, “it’s weird.”

“What’s weird?” you asked, flexing one arm in a very gratuitous show of your newest build. You had gone with an athletic look—abs on display, golden skin glinting with sweat. It was giving swordsman rival energy and you knew it.

Zoro shifted slightly, cheeks just the faintest bit pink. “I mean… not bad weird. Just weird.”

Usopp peeked out from behind a barrel. “Yeah! Like, one second you look like a cool dude, and the next you're a hot girl, and then you’re just… something else entirely! It’s like—like—brain static!”

You looked down at your current form, which was leaning into gender-neutral grace: lithe, sharp-featured, with a killer jawline and the longest lashes you’d ever conjured.

Then you looked back at Usopp.

“I cause brain static?” you said, smirking.

Usopp made a sputtering noise. “I—I didn’t mean—I mean, maybe! But like, in a cool way!”

You shifted forms again, landing in your soft, femme form—the one with the dewy eyes and curves that made Sanji short-circuit every time.

You turned toward him slowly.

“Sanji~” He was already mid-spin with heart eyes before you finished the first syllable.

“YES, MY LOVE?!”

“…Do you prefer this version of me?”

THUD. Sanji collapsed. Again. Chopper was beginning to consider a “Sanji Nosebleed First Aid Kit” specifically for you.

Luffy wandered over and poked your face. “So wait… when you’re like this, are you still the same you?”

“Yup,” you said easily, shifting again—now back to a masculine build with striking eyes and a lazy smile. “Still me. Always me.”

Luffy tilted his head. “Then how come I feel different when you change?”

You paused. “Different… how?”

He frowned hard. “Like… when you’re the tall guy version, I wanna fight you. But when you’re the pretty one, I wanna give you meat. And when you’re in-between, I just wanna sit next to you.”

There was a silence.

Usopp and Zoro both looked away. Sanji was still unconscious. Chopper looked mildly stressed.

You stretched your arms above your head, cracking your neck. “I think that just means you’re into me, no matter what I look like.”

“OH.” Luffy looked thoughtful. “...Cool.”

You smirked and dropped into a lounging position in a sunbeam. “You guys overthink this way more than I do.”

Zoro groaned, dragging a hand over his face. “You’re too chill about this.”

You looked at him with a raised brow. “Why? You confused too?”

“…No.” “Yes,” Usopp whispered behind him. “Shut up, Usopp.”

Sanji groaned faintly from the deck. “Th-this is too powerful… weaponized attraction…”

You threw your head back and laughed.

“Y’all are lucky I’m nice. I could be so dangerous with this fruit.”

Robin flipped another page in her notes. “You already are.”

It started during another chill day on the Sunny.

Nami had asked for your help at a merchant island—not because she needed it, but because shopkeepers tended to give you the “we-don’t-know-what’s-happening-but-we-like-it” discount.

You walked beside her in a charming, neutral look—cool, suave, just the right mix of soft and sharp.

She was talking about coral bracelets or something, but then she paused.

“…Wait,” Nami said, blinking at you. “Have you always had that jawline?”

You tilted your head. “Nope. Shifted it like ten minutes ago.”

She opened her mouth. Closed it. Then made a very quiet, very frustrated noise.

“…Do you ever not look attractive?” she muttered, mostly to herself.

You wiggled your eyebrows. “You noticing, Cat Burglar?”

Nami elbowed you in the ribs and stormed off muttering about “stupid sexy shapeshifters.”

Later, Robin walked beside you, arms folded elegantly, and said very softly:

“Do you find it enjoyable, causing identity crises in everyone on board?”

“Immensely,” you said, flipping your hair (which hadn’t been long ten seconds ago). “You feeling the brain static too, Robin?”

She hesitated. Then calmly said, “…I will neither confirm nor deny.”

You didn’t have long to bask in your power.

Marines.

A small ship spotted yours, then sped toward it—clearly thinking a frontal assault on the Thousand Sunny was a good idea.

“Want me to take care of it?” you asked, already walking to the rail.

“No killing!” Luffy called from the deck.

“No promises,” you called back.

You were in your tall, femme form—long legs, battle-ready, impossibly elegant. You leapt onto the enemy ship mid-sprint.

“Hello boys,” you purred, one hand on your hip. “Need something?”

Half of them froze. The other half tried not to stare.

“We—we are here to apprehend—”

You shifted mid-sentence—taller, broader, a sharp masculine form with rolled-up sleeves and a very punchable smirk.

“Oh,” you said, cracking your knuckles. “You’re here to die.”

BOOM.

The deck exploded into screams and confusion as you pummeled through them—fluid, fast, a one-person hurricane. When one of them tried to run, you shrank into a petite, lithe body, dodging low and then slamming an elbow into his gut with brutal precision.

When the dust settled, you stood atop a pile of groaning Marines, adjusting your collar like it was just another Tuesday.

“Done.”

Zoro invited you to train with him. That was a first.

You joined him in your most jacked, bulky form—biceps like tree trunks, tank top barely holding on. He eyed you once, nodded in approval, and threw you a sword.

You sparred for a while, clashing blades, sweat flying, both of you grunting in that way that said "respect earned."

Then, just as he swung for your shoulder, you ducked, spun, and shifted—

—into your smallest, most delicate-looking form. Wide eyes, sharp smile. A twirl and a flip over his blade.

Zoro froze. The sword missed you by a mile.

You landed behind him and whispered, “You always this easy to distract?”

He made a noise somewhere between a grunt and a gulp. “Don’t—do that.”

You winked. “What? Scared I’ll win cute too?”

Later, you were lounging in the crow’s nest when Luffy climbed up beside you.

He flopped down, chin on your thigh like a lazy dog. “Hey.”

“Hey, Captain.”

“…What were you like before the fruit?”

You paused. Shifted forms once. Twice. A third time. Settled somewhere right in the middle.

“Mm,” you said. “Yes.”

Luffy blinked. “…What?”

You smiled. “Exactly.”

He giggled, kicked his legs lazily, and nodded. “Cool.”

You patted his head. He fell asleep ten seconds later.

You hadn’t expected it.

The Straw Hats were not a subtle crew, but they weren’t exactly known for heart-to-hearts either. Chaos? Absolutely. Fistfights? Daily. Group therapy? That was… new.

It started with a dinner.

You had walked in late—fresh from training, barefoot, a towel over your shoulders, and casually morphing from one body to another to get the stiffness out.

Tall to short. Femme to masc. A soft androgynous blend somewhere in the middle. Your muscles still ached pleasantly.

You sat down, yawned, and said, “Smells good.”

Sanji blushed so hard you worried he might combust.

The table was rowdy as usual—Luffy stuffing meat in his cheeks, Usopp talking with his hands, Nami counting coins, Franky yelling about cola, Brook asking someone to see their panties, Chopper taking notes on your post-training flexibility.

And then Robin—blessedly, elegantly, horrifyingly—spoke up.

“You know we love you, right?”

The table went dead silent.

Your brows raised. “Excuse me?”

Robin smiled faintly, eyes half-lidded. “All of us. In different ways, perhaps—but we do. No matter how you look, no matter what form you’re in.”

“YEAH!!” Luffy shouted around a mouthful of meat. “You’re YOU! That’s what matters!”

Chopper’s hooves flailed. “You’re so cool and strong and kind and funny and—I don’t care what you look like!!”

Nami leaned her chin on her hand. “Honestly, sometimes you’re prettier than me and I hate it—but you’re amazing. I trust you with my life.”

Usopp raised his cup. “I can’t even explain what I feel when I look at you. But it’s definitely… affection. And fear.”

Zoro huffed, arms crossed, eyes slightly averted. “…Tch. Doesn’t matter how you look. You’re a pain in the ass either way.”

“Translation,” Robin added smoothly, “is: Zoro also cares deeply.”

Franky jumped up, doing an exaggerated pose. “YOU’RE SUPERRRR! Doesn’t matter what body, gender, height, or hairstyle—if you’re one of us, you’re one of us! Forever!!”

Brook tilted his skull slightly. “I do not have eyes, but if I did, they would weep with admiration. You are lovely, my friend—no matter how you appear!”

Sanji, dead silent this whole time, stood awkwardly. He looked at you like you’d hung the moon. Slowly, he walked around the table, stopping right beside your seat.

You watched him.

He cleared his throat, rubbing the back of his neck. “I, uh… I’ve said a lot of dumb stuff. Probably still will. But…”

He crouched beside you, one hand reaching—not to grab, but to rest gently over yours.

“You’re beautiful. All the time. In all the ways. But it’s not about that. I love you because you’re you. You’re strong, and clever, and stupidly good at messing with my head—but you make the Sunny feel more like home.”

You stared at him, a smile tugging at your lips. “Sanji…”

He grinned, a little crooked. “You already knew, didn’t you?”

“Yep.”

The whole table groaned.

“You’re the worst,” Nami muttered.

You looked around, heart warm, body soft and relaxed in whatever form it chose. “You guys really mean it?”

Luffy gave you a big thumbs-up. “YEAH! You’re one of us!”

“You’re our crewmate,” Zoro said firmly. “No matter the body.”

Robin nodded. “And always loved.”

You tilted your head thoughtfully. “So does this mean I don’t have to do chores for a week?”

“NO,” everyone said at once.

You laughed so hard you almost fell off your chair.

Later that night, after the dinner, after the hugs, after the crew had dispersed into their chaotic sleep schedule, you sat at the bow of the Sunny—alone for a moment.

The wind blew through your hair—short, long, curly, straight. You didn’t even notice what form you were in anymore.

You were just… you.

And that was enough.

EHEHEHE personally i think she’s genderfluid and uses he/she/they pronouns…….I think he was kind of an uncracked egg up until the trials though. like, he’s been in survival mode for so long that he’s never had the time or luxury to really think about himself or his identity….i think he’s had a lot of different disguises over his career though, and those personas are either male or female depending on what the situation calls for so he’s not a stranger to dressing femininely either.

but yeah…i think for a long time hugo just identified as male by default cuz like…what else would he be LOL. if he had any doubts at all they weren’t significantly hindering him or anything so he just buried them with all the other of the emotions he doesn’t want to feel. but like the closet is made of GLASS and this becomes especially obvious when she teams up with 3 other teenagers who are also transgender so sometimes she’ll just Say Shit and they all turn around and look at her like “…….🤨”

i have this very vivid scene in my head where varian comes out to the gang as trans and hes clearly really uneasy abt it. and hugo doesn’t know what to say so he just tries to relate by saying the first thing that comes to mind and goes “oh yeah i get it i mean. sometimes i wish i was a girl but like not all the time yk” and nuru and varian both just stop and stare at him

fast forward to post-trials though, and hugo’s been living in the castle with varian for about six months…it was REALLY messy for both of them while she was adjusting, but at this point shes finally started to let her guard down a little, and all of a sudden she has SO much free time and she has no idea what to do with any of it. she’s stealing collecting things, tinkering with all kinds of useless little gadgets, rapunzel is teaching her tons of little arts and crafts projects. overall shes pretty content despite everything. So anyways then the gender crisis hits them like a fucking freight train

honestly i’m like half joking when i say i think it started bc they just kept forgetting to cut their hair. like one day they looked in the mirror and they’re like “wow my hairs getting so long i kinda look like a girl lol. Wait”

AND AS FUNNY AS IT IS ITS SO. WILDLY UNFAMILIAR TO THEM. like all of a sudden theyre SO insecure for as far as they can tell, NO reason and it drives them CRAZY. i dont even think that hugo dislikes their masculine features after coming out, i think they embrace them if anything but its just like…going from 0 to 100 so fast and suddenly being so hyper aware of themselves in a way that they NEVER were before…having to realize that they’re definitely Not cis. it’s fucking TERRIFYING!!!

not to mention it hits him all at once during a time when he’s still frankly really paranoid about him and varian’s relationship, and he’s kinda walking on eggshells bc deep down he’s convinced that var’s just gonna get tired of him eventually and kick him out. its like he’s just waiting for the final nail in the coffin despite the fact that there is literally no coffin.

All that being said i think it takes him a while to work up the courage to talk to varian about it. and he knows he won’t like. hate him for being trans or anything (I sure hope he wouldn’t, at least, seeing as he is literally also trans) but varian’s already done SO much for him and helped him through literally everything already….he doesn’t want to burden him any more than he already has. he also cant comprehend that someone can just Like him, like, as a person, so he’s convinced himself that varian must see something specific in him right now and he’s afraid that if he changes himself drastically in any way then whatever varian saw in him just. won’t be there anymore. If that makes sense

as for who he actually goes to first- honestly i think it’d have to be lance. at least in my head lance was the first person hugo really started to bond with aside from varian….he didn’t start letting his guard down with rapunzel until quite a while after that. also i think he’s worried that if he tells rapunzel she’d end up accidentally spilling something to varian (which is like. Valid bc she’s a horrible liar) he’d definitely write a letter to nuru, too, but nuru is also in another kingdom, and that message takes a while to get to her, so it’s more something they talk about after the fact

when he finally does get a letter back after dumping this revelation on her it’s just like

“dearest hugo. upon reading your letter i desperately wanted to tell you that i told you so, but i realize that would be in poor taste, seeing as you are clearly struggling right now. Moreover,-“ /j

regardless of who she tells first, they obviously all support her and encourage her to talk to varian as well…And ofc varian hypes her up to no end when she finally does. i wanna say it’s a sweet emotional scene but i feel like varian was also under the assumption that she figured out the gender thing like a year ago /j

pots!hazel. she ends up (mostly!) recovering from the fainting episodes associated with her flashbacks but still faints and feels unwell a lot of the time. she spends a lot of her energy and magic on staying conscious and aware, leaving her foggy and with flare-ups. will ends up diagnosing her half-way on accident during the three days nico stays in the infirmary. she doesn't faint a lot, but she will frequently have her vision black out when she stands and feel nauseous if she has to stand still for more than ten minutes (more or less depending on the day). together with jason and nico the three of them make up the fainting trio

reyna speaks excessively formally and politely when she's uncomfortable and the moment she feels safe around you she will just loosen up completely. it becomes very clear very quickly how much of her time is spent being uncomfortable

genderfluid!lou ellen. most of the time she's happy to be referred to as a girl, but some days it just feels wrong and she prefers to be referred to either gender-neutrally or masculinely. it's not something she's out about to anyone but her closest friends, partially because there's kind of enough stigma around being the child of hecate and also, it's not all that obvious, even to her.

nico is a bit like a social interaction vampire. he's not as shut off as others seem to think, he just needs to be given explicit permission to talk about his interests because he's worried about annoying other people, especially after bianca essentially abandoned him. he could talk for hours and hours about his special interests (because yes, he's probably autistic too) like mythomagic (he picks it up again with percy's encouragement), ancient languages and literature

will and katie (gardner) friendship. they bond over liking star wars and when lou ellen join their circle she manipulates the mist to recreate scenes from the movies. as she gets better at it she manages to make the light sabers glow, much to will and katie's delight

after the battle of manhattan and will/kayla/austin almost dying from being overworked, the camp gets together with mr d and chiron without the apollo kids' knowledge and figure out how to run the infirmary in a more sustainable way than just forcing apollo and athena kids to be there. eventually they settle on apollo kids doing 8-hour shifts but none at night unless someone is severely wounded. for the night shift, other campers work in rotating pairs where one sleeps for the first four hours and the other for the last four hours. a lot more campers gain appreciation for the amount of work the apollo (and athena) cabin put in to keep them alive and healthy and the apollo cabin doesn't die of burnout

t1 diabetic!kayla. she's been sick with it since she was six, but thanks to having a very supportive dad and a team of professionals around him considering his status as an olympic archer, her condition is well-managed (most of the time, war time is unpredictable) and she knows how to treat and manage it considering her demigod lifestyle. accompanying headcanon to this: while ambrosia and nectar is mostly to heal injuries and wounds of a divine and/or serious nature, it can short-term manage blood sugar. mortal intervention is always needed to fix the problem though. a bit like how narcan delays but can't entirely fix an opioid overdose

cecil wasn't properly accepted as a child of hermes at first considering he didn't express exceptional skills at the more obvious and everyday traits associated with the cabin (multilingualism, athleticism, thievery). first when he was found to accidentally being an exceptional saboteur was he properly accepted by the rest of his siblings. due to this he tended to hang out with the unclaimed children in the hermes cabin rather than his own siblings, especially lou ellen

hjs!cecil (hypermobile joint syndrome; double-jointedness). he's not good with most physical activities because of this and easily discouraged to even attempt most sports due to how his cabin alienated him for not being exceptionally agile, a trait associated with their cabin. it's not uncommon for his wrists and ankles to not work well (such as the twisted ankle in boo). however, he feels like he "compensates" for this by working in the shadows. when properly encouraged and supported, he prefers fighting with knives (close combat or throwing), relying on being obnoxious to throw the enemy off

Shanks and Buggy get smth of a culture shock once they are no longer in that protective bubble. Buggy is getting hateful looks, comments, snide remarks. Shanks is at his side, completely taken aback and honestly pretty pissed. Buggy, on more Femme days, faces more animosity, misogyny, and it's astounding to the former apprentices who different men and women are treated. And if you can't tell by a glance, people can get so upset?? What the hell????

Buggy refuses to be anything but themself/himself/herself, depending on the day and vibe. Shanks refuses to comply with this newfound social expectation to be rude and mean for no reason to innocent people.

The Grandline is the most progressive of the seas, due in part to the natural insanity it breeds. The Blues aren't as open, but the East is the more chill of the four. Buggy chooses there for many reasons, but the Big Top and crew is open to any sea. There's an information network, smuggling division, crowdsourcing area, etc.

Shanks will drop tips at places he visits for Buggy to get a foothold if they don't already exist, and Buggy will drop tips for Shanks regarding pertinent information for adventures, expectations, and etiquette.

It's a good dynamic. They go for years like this.

Buggy's stint in Impel Down was.... not fun. Aside from the misgendering, general torture and absolutely overwhelming energy there, it was stifling.

Marineford was a hot mess, but by the end, Shanks offers Buggy a ride to the Big Top's docked location, and on board, he just leads Buggy to this little chest in his cabin. Says, "here, take your pick. You wear whatever is most comfortable for you." There's a dress or two, a few skirts, tops, pants, shirts, and while most of it is in different sizes, there's belts and loops. Buggy bites back tears when they find their old skirt. They'd left that one on the Oro. How did Shanks even get this??

The time skip goes down, and by the time Cross Guild is running, Buggy has had to decide between masquerading as a Cis person or just... being themself. One morning, they wake up and everything feels too TIGHT, too STIFF, too much and she's left eying her leotard, half skirt and thigh highs.

I adore this. Buggy being genderfluid is actually so important to me as a genderfluid person-- My beloved. The concept of cold reality suddenly hitting them both (because they were so, so supportive back at the Oro Jackson) when the crew disbands is so good. Disclaimer: probably obvious from the fact I am talking about his children, but this is myth Loki, not Marvel’s bastardisation. 

Sleipnir 

Sleipnir is the eldest and is non-binary (he/they). 

They are capable of taking on a human form and, when they do, they act like a diva who drinks way too much and complains about Odin using him as a steed. 

If they existed in the modern day, they would absolutely dress like a young woman in the 30s – shawl and all. 

Out of all the siblings, he is somehow the one with the highest alcohol tolerance. 

Loki struggled at first to bond with Sleipnir because they were born out of r*pe (depending on how you interpret the only source we actually have on his conception, it could be seen as consensual or not. I personally think it was supposed to be non-consensual but, because the author was Christian, was vague about it). 

Hel 

Her dead side is only mildly blue and bruised looking like a fresh corpse when she is happy. It becomes more grotesque the angrier she gets. She becomes a full-on skeleton on that side when she is furious.  

Hel is a lesbian and occasionally dates some of the women who die and come to Helheim but doesn’t have a consistent partner. 

She is the youngest of all her siblings but ends up acting like the eldest because the only place they can reunite is in Helheim after Ragnarök where she is queen. 

Loki, Sigyn and Angrboda still baby her though. She will never admit to secretly liking it. At least, not in front of her siblings. 

Narfi 

He is trans. I don’t know why, it's just vibes. 

He is the elder of him and Vali.

He is studious and generally much softer and nicer compared to Vali. 

He is a user of seidr (Norse magic) which he learnt from Loki and even Sigyn a bit. This made him a target of teasing as a child since seidr is a girl's thing. 

He has his mother’s dark hair and darker skin with Loki’s green eyes. 

Vali 

He is gay but started off with a lot of internalised homophobia because he was teased for being the child of Loki, a notorious genderfluid in a culture that saw feminine men as a bad thing, and became unwilling to accept what could make him seem like a girl. 

He is a warrior and is prone to rash decisions, making him a lot like Loki. 

Vali and Loki have a bit of a difficult relationship since Vali is a mama’s boy but he is so similar to Loki in many ways (which a large part of him hates but the rest of him can’t help but love). 

He is very muscular with Loki’s red hair and Sigyn’s black eyes. He has a long beard with he braids and decorates with Narfi’s help. 

Jörmungandr 

His first word was “Ssssssnack!” 

He used to either curl up in front of the fire, against Fenrir or in Hel or Loki’s laps. Those memories are the only thing staving off his pain from being a land serpent in the cold depths of the ocean. 

He and Fenrir used to get into play fights all the time as a pup and hatchling and someone would always end up having to break them up before they broke something. 

He can speak in human tongue, but not nearly as well as Fenrir. He is also the only non-human child of Loki who can’t take a human form. 

Fenrir 

He is a cuddly teddy bear and used to sleep curled up in bed with one of his siblings or Loki, Angrboda or Sigyn. 

He was the gentlest of his siblings before being chained up. Even after that, he remained shockingly kind but became very protective over his family as a result. 

He has black fur with an almost purplish tinge and bright yellow eyes. 

He is able to change his size, going from normal wolf to “able to eat the sun and moon” big. 

He has a human form with long, thick black hair, sideburns and the same eerie yellow eyes.

His hallucinations started focusing on Wonderland stuff at around 10 - Despite what I will inevitably make Jervis say on my ask blog, HIS ALICE IS ENTIRELY FICTITIOUS! He never knew anyone real named Alice who inspired her or anything, it is entirely him manifesting his desire to be understood and no longer alone onto an imaginary woman in his brain. Also because she is imaginary and as such cannot say anything Jervis cannot imagine her saying, and Jervis doesn't exactly like himself very much, she can actually be very aggressive with him and will reprimand him for paying attention to other things, which spurs on more crimes and such - He worked at Wayne Enterprises! He was. ABSOLUTELY miserable there, just because he was so lonely. But he considers himself and Bruce Wayne friends! - On that note, he knows Bruce Wayne is Batman. But through sheer cognitive dissonance - and because his identity stuff with being Jervis vs being the Hatter is already weird - he believes that while Batman and the Mad Hatter are enemies, Bruce Wayne and Jervis Tetch are still friends. Bruce has exploited this and will continue to - He knows how to sew! Every part of his costume is handmade, and he adores new projects. He is especially meticulous with making dresses for his Alices. He even made my Jonathan's hat! - And the last and saddest fact of all. He is unfortunately 4'9".

He was raised in rural West Virginia, his father was a game hunter, and his mother too affected by postpartum psychosis to work. He is the younger of two siblings, his oldest sister is Cyta and his older brother's name is unimportant. His birth was completely accidental which led to a feeling of contempt from his parents.

Believe it or not, Shrike as a child was very meek and scrawny, not hitting that 'Luciferian growth spurt' that most children in his species type did. which, among many other things, made him a target for bullying by his peers, which caused him to drop out of school in just 1st grade and become heavily dependent on his siblings. He has never returned to school since.

As he grew into a teenager, his brother took on the 'role' so to speak of his primary abuser. Isolating him from the world at large. Due to this, he became emotionally, mentally, and physically stunted. As he matured, he began to rebel and would sneak out while his brother was at work to meet up with friends in the neighboring cities. Interacting with others like Ikurou made him start to see his brother for what he truly was - his abuser. One day, after a large explosive fight, Shrike killed his brother. Shrike's sister assisted him in covering up the murder as an accident. With that, he fled his old home to start his new life with his wife, Annette, and their son and is trying to pick up where he left off in developing his social skills. He operates a business under the label of a butcher but his real professional entails several dirty, illegal jobs.

ANNETTE MARY-ANN VICARIO - cis woman (she/her) - 38 years old - Human

Annette was born to two hoarders in Kentucky. Living In a trailer on a large patch of land, due to the sheer amount of stuff in her parent's house she really had no room to live comfortably. So she found herself escaping to the houses of her cousins (Plural, she has so many cousins.) She really has no possessions of her own, just her childhood cat and a backpack of things she hauled around with her everywhere, so she developed a habit of stealing from everywhere she went. The cops in that area were very well acquainted with her even as a teen.

As she grew up, she dropped out of high school. Feeling nothing but contempt towards the system she decided she did not care to partake and began stealing things to make ends meet. She would steal car parts, possessions, anything. Then she was drafted into the escorting business where she remained for a good number of years right up until she and Shrike decided to get married. She still has a habit of stealing to this day.

Annette cannot hold a job for the life of her. She bounces between new ones constantly because she impulse quits or gets fired because she's got a good awful work ethic.

IKUROU STEELE - cis man (he/him) - 39 years old - White Oni

A lot of Ikurou's childhood he downright refuses to elaborate on, but many signs indicate it was far from perfect if not downright harrowing. All most people know is that he was born in Indiana. He was a volatile teenager, lashing out at almost everyone around him and getting in deep shit with the law before he was only 16. Around 18, Ikurou dropped out of school entirely and cut contact with his parents. Being a skilled bassist he played a lot of shitty local shows to scrounge up enough cash to get his own dingy apartment but at these local shows, he was scouted by another musician - Ismael. He wanted Ikurou in his new, up-and-coming band. The two proceeded to form a long-standing toxic co-dependent friendship that was sure to lead to mutual destruction. Ismael got Ikurou hooked on several substances, namely cocaine.

After a few long years of harsh stress from Ismael and using Ikurou as a personal attack dog. Pushing him so hard he'd play until his fingers would bleed on stage. It lead to Ikurou finally snapping and freaking out which Ismael kickstarted a domino effect that lead to his freakout being heavily publicized, resulting in an industry-wide blacklist. It left him jobless and to top it all off he was evicted from his apartment and became homeless. In one last act of desperation, he called some of the few people he knew before he made it big and that was Shrike and Annette.

As of now, Ikurou lives in Shrike's basement bedroom as he attends rehab, deadset on bettering himself. His main goal is to finish rehab and get a job so he can finally get a cat.

KASVI AO - trans woman (she/her) - 36 years old - Angel

Unlike the rest of the cast, Kasvi had a very loving upbringing. Born to two loving parents who were immigrants from Las Paradeisos who settled down in Upper middle-class Ohio. Nothing horribly eventful happened to her as far as she can remember - That was until her father was diagnosed with brain cancer, the severity missed several times over by his doctors resulting in a life expectancy of 2 months. As she visited her father in hospice she made a promise to him that she'd carry out her dream to be a teacher just like he was.

As Kasvi started attending college, she grew into a social butterfly of sorts. Big into parties, making lots of friends, and even had a few boyfriends here and there...But when she was just about ready to graduate, she got involved with another man who she split from after just around 2 months due to his massive array of red flags that popped up as their relationship progressed. Little did she know that after their breakup he became deeply infatuated with her to the point of obsession and began to relentlessly stalk her. After his obsession peaked, he attacked her in her home. The attack was so brutal she lost a wing and an arm, the other wing becoming non-functional due to trauma, leaving her unable to fly. She was thankfully found after her attacker fled the scene which resulted in her survival however she was now disfigured and became deathly afraid of the world around her.

With the resounding support she had gotten from others, especially her friends, her coworkers, and her family, she decided after years of staying inside she wanted to finally get out there. Kasvi's attacker was put to death after he murdered & attacked a string of other women, Kasvi herself was present at his execution, and seeing him finally die cemented that she was no longer afraid. She now is back working full time and involves herself heavily with Ikurou. They sleep together often but insist they are 'just friends'.

SIDE CHARACTER TIME (keeping these short)

Cyta Dolores Vicario - cis woman (she/her) - 41 years old - Luciferian Chimera

Shrike's eldest sister. She is wracked with unspeakable amounts of grief. Turning to religion and painkillers to cope with the tragedy that was her family and how she couldn't do anything to stop it despite being just a child herself. Believes her primary worth is taking care of others. Vacillator love style. Many, many ex-lovers.

Ismael Jacob Desdemona - cis man (he/him) - 33 years old - Vampire-Incubus hybrid

A self-absorbed dickhead. Portrays a loveable, quirky e-boy persona to his many fans but in reality, a silver-tongued manipulator with the media and his bandmates wrapped around his finger. His parents are industry veterans meaning he is a nepo baby who was spoiled rotten his entire life. Hooked on lots of party drugs and is a chronic sex addict but believes it'll never catch up to him because 'Rockstars never die!'. God should kill him.

Beryl Eve Locke - cis woman (she/her) - 42 years old - Sparkle Demon

A long-time friend of Cyta. Spiraled into drugs and harmful sex work after Cyta was forced to move for college and just recently managed to crawl her way out. Lives with Cyta as she's terrified of the outside world. Met Ikurou in rehab and is like a 2nd older sister to Shrike.

Maxwell Vicario - dumbass Fortnite baby (he/him) - 10 years old - Cambion

Shrike and Annette's son. Despite who he was raised by he has had a very loving childhood so far. Every person in his life is dedicated to making sure Maxwell has a proper, fun childhood like they never did. He fucking LOVES Pokemon dude.

Everyone is FUCKED UP in some sort of way, yet they all love each other very much. except for Ismael fuck that guy #Ismaelisoverparty. Expect some more of these for my other stories.
