this definitely isn't a full list of all of my personal headcanons, just a few that i really like. i've put the flag names/some thoughts under the cut! these are just my personal thoughts and it is perfectly wonderful if you disagree with any/all of them!

rosie: the rainbow flag. she is an enjoyer of women and everyone woman-adjacent!

henry: bi and nonbinary. i have such a fond spot in my heart for he/they henry!

james: genderfluid and biromantic. collects all the pronouns, with a preference for he and she depending on the vibes of the moment! i enjoy headcanoning james as biromantic and a big enjoyer of romance and flirting, but he is sooo bad at it. he tries out all of his best pickup lines on his friends and they just laugh in his face (with affection and care, mostly!) because she's just so terrible at them. she has never successfully flirted with anyone in her life and i love that for him < 3

emily: lesbian. professional enjoyer of all women. she fits so well with almost every single woman she meets and it is splendid. i really love in the great race how she has little chats with ashima and seems to really like her, it's a really sweet little bit of background interaction i enjoy. also, best engine ever is wonderful and her n caitlin are so sweet. give emily her women!

ryan: aroace. i honestly don't think i have much to say about this one, i just really like it.. though i also like ryan/thomas and ryan/daisy hehe. eh, those can all live in harmony in my brain :3

oliver: gay. professional enjoyer of men and those men-adjacent. i have a little comic planned that i will be making soon with him and douglas hehe

rebecca: omnisexual. i used to have rebecca as pan in my mind, but @togetherness23 (who has loads of gorgeous flags colourpicked from screenshots and is currently running a ttte sapphic ships poll tournament, go check them out if you haven't already!!!) has influences me with a gorgeous colourpicked omni rebecca and now i have to admit i can't think of her as anything else, omni tracks soooo well for her i love it!

EHEHEHE personally i think she’s genderfluid and uses he/she/they pronouns…….I think he was kind of an uncracked egg up until the trials though. like, he’s been in survival mode for so long that he’s never had the time or luxury to really think about himself or his identity….i think he’s had a lot of different disguises over his career though, and those personas are either male or female depending on what the situation calls for so he’s not a stranger to dressing femininely either.

but yeah…i think for a long time hugo just identified as male by default cuz like…what else would he be LOL. if he had any doubts at all they weren’t significantly hindering him or anything so he just buried them with all the other of the emotions he doesn’t want to feel. but like the closet is made of GLASS and this becomes especially obvious when she teams up with 3 other teenagers who are also transgender so sometimes she’ll just Say Shit and they all turn around and look at her like “…….🤨”

i have this very vivid scene in my head where varian comes out to the gang as trans and hes clearly really uneasy abt it. and hugo doesn’t know what to say so he just tries to relate by saying the first thing that comes to mind and goes “oh yeah i get it i mean. sometimes i wish i was a girl but like not all the time yk” and nuru and varian both just stop and stare at him

anyways yeah….other than her traveling party giving her some weird looks nothing actually really came of these conversations bc hugo would refuse to think about herself even if you put a gun to her head

fast forward to post-trials though, and hugo’s been living in the castle with varian for about six months…it was REALLY messy for both of them while she was adjusting, but at this point shes finally started to let her guard down a little, and all of a sudden she has SO much free time and she has no idea what to do with any of it. she’s stealing collecting things, tinkering with all kinds of useless little gadgets, rapunzel is teaching her tons of little arts and crafts projects. overall shes pretty content despite everything. So anyways then the gender crisis hits them like a fucking freight train

honestly i’m like half joking when i say i think it started bc they just kept forgetting to cut their hair. like one day they looked in the mirror and they’re like “wow my hairs getting so long i kinda look like a girl lol. Wait”

AND AS FUNNY AS IT IS ITS SO. WILDLY UNFAMILIAR TO THEM. like all of a sudden theyre SO insecure for as far as they can tell, NO reason and it drives them CRAZY. i dont even think that hugo dislikes their masculine features after coming out, i think they embrace them if anything but its just like…going from 0 to 100 so fast and suddenly being so hyper aware of themselves in a way that they NEVER were before…having to realize that they’re definitely Not cis. it’s fucking TERRIFYING!!!

not to mention it hits him all at once during a time when he’s still frankly really paranoid about him and varian’s relationship, and he’s kinda walking on eggshells bc deep down he’s convinced that var’s just gonna get tired of him eventually and kick him out. its like he’s just waiting for the final nail in the coffin despite the fact that there is literally no coffin.

All that being said i think it takes him a while to work up the courage to talk to varian about it. and he knows he won’t like. hate him for being trans or anything (I sure hope he wouldn’t, at least, seeing as he is literally also trans) but varian’s already done SO much for him and helped him through literally everything already….he doesn’t want to burden him any more than he already has. he also cant comprehend that someone can just Like him, like, as a person, so he’s convinced himself that varian must see something specific in him right now and he’s afraid that if he changes himself drastically in any way then whatever varian saw in him just. won’t be there anymore. If that makes sense

as for who he actually goes to first- honestly i think it’d have to be lance. at least in my head lance was the first person hugo really started to bond with aside from varian….he didn’t start letting his guard down with rapunzel until quite a while after that. also i think he’s worried that if he tells rapunzel she’d end up accidentally spilling something to varian (which is like. Valid bc she’s a horrible liar) he’d definitely write a letter to nuru, too, but nuru is also in another kingdom, and that message takes a while to get to her, so it’s more something they talk about after the fact

when he finally does get a letter back after dumping this revelation on her it’s just like

“dearest hugo. upon reading your letter i desperately wanted to tell you that i told you so, but i realize that would be in poor taste, seeing as you are clearly struggling right now. Moreover,-“ /j

regardless of who she tells first, they obviously all support her and encourage her to talk to varian as well…And ofc varian hypes her up to no end when she finally does. i wanna say it’s a sweet emotional scene but i feel like varian was also under the assumption that she figured out the gender thing like a year ago /j

autistic!will. i mean. i was one of the first people to write it (and post it on ao3, but i had stuff about it on my long gone old blog before then). this is true. to me. it's not incredibly obvious unless you know what you're looking for because 99% of the time he's eloquent and very passionate and maybe it's just the hyper healer in him and he'd like to think he passes well. but for people who know they can just tell. it's the voice, man /gn. gives you away every time /lh

pots!hazel. she ends up (mostly!) recovering from the fainting episodes associated with her flashbacks but still faints and feels unwell a lot of the time. she spends a lot of her energy and magic on staying conscious and aware, leaving her foggy and with flare-ups. will ends up diagnosing her half-way on accident during the three days nico stays in the infirmary. she doesn't faint a lot, but she will frequently have her vision black out when she stands and feel nauseous if she has to stand still for more than ten minutes (more or less depending on the day). together with jason and nico the three of them make up the fainting trio

reyna speaks excessively formally and politely when she's uncomfortable and the moment she feels safe around you she will just loosen up completely. it becomes very clear very quickly how much of her time is spent being uncomfortable

genderfluid!lou ellen. most of the time she's happy to be referred to as a girl, but some days it just feels wrong and she prefers to be referred to either gender-neutrally or masculinely. it's not something she's out about to anyone but her closest friends, partially because there's kind of enough stigma around being the child of hecate and also, it's not all that obvious, even to her.

nico is a bit like a social interaction vampire. he's not as shut off as others seem to think, he just needs to be given explicit permission to talk about his interests because he's worried about annoying other people, especially after bianca essentially abandoned him. he could talk for hours and hours about his special interests (because yes, he's probably autistic too) like mythomagic (he picks it up again with percy's encouragement), ancient languages and literature

will and katie (gardner) friendship. they bond over liking star wars and when lou ellen join their circle she manipulates the mist to recreate scenes from the movies. as she gets better at it she manages to make the light sabers glow, much to will and katie's delight

after the battle of manhattan and will/kayla/austin almost dying from being overworked, the camp gets together with mr d and chiron without the apollo kids' knowledge and figure out how to run the infirmary in a more sustainable way than just forcing apollo and athena kids to be there. eventually they settle on apollo kids doing 8-hour shifts but none at night unless someone is severely wounded. for the night shift, other campers work in rotating pairs where one sleeps for the first four hours and the other for the last four hours. a lot more campers gain appreciation for the amount of work the apollo (and athena) cabin put in to keep them alive and healthy and the apollo cabin doesn't die of burnout

t1 diabetic!kayla. she's been sick with it since she was six, but thanks to having a very supportive dad and a team of professionals around him considering his status as an olympic archer, her condition is well-managed (most of the time, war time is unpredictable) and she knows how to treat and manage it considering her demigod lifestyle. accompanying headcanon to this: while ambrosia and nectar is mostly to heal injuries and wounds of a divine and/or serious nature, it can short-term manage blood sugar. mortal intervention is always needed to fix the problem though. a bit like how narcan delays but can't entirely fix an opioid overdose

cecil wasn't properly accepted as a child of hermes at first considering he didn't express exceptional skills at the more obvious and everyday traits associated with the cabin (multilingualism, athleticism, thievery). first when he was found to accidentally being an exceptional saboteur was he properly accepted by the rest of his siblings. due to this he tended to hang out with the unclaimed children in the hermes cabin rather than his own siblings, especially lou ellen

hjs!cecil (hypermobile joint syndrome; double-jointedness). he's not good with most physical activities because of this and easily discouraged to even attempt most sports due to how his cabin alienated him for not being exceptionally agile, a trait associated with their cabin. it's not uncommon for his wrists and ankles to not work well (such as the twisted ankle in boo). however, he feels like he "compensates" for this by working in the shadows. when properly encouraged and supported, he prefers fighting with knives (close combat or throwing), relying on being obnoxious to throw the enemy off

Buggy being genderfluid but the Roger crew not really giving a flying fuck about it. Who cares how you dress so long as you're still you? Yeah, sure, go apeshit, just be loyal, strong, etc. You're one of Us and your pants or lack thereof doesn't impact that.

Shanks and Buggy get smth of a culture shock once they are no longer in that protective bubble. Buggy is getting hateful looks, comments, snide remarks. Shanks is at his side, completely taken aback and honestly pretty pissed. Buggy, on more Femme days, faces more animosity, misogyny, and it's astounding to the former apprentices who different men and women are treated. And if you can't tell by a glance, people can get so upset?? What the hell????

Buggy refuses to be anything but themself/himself/herself, depending on the day and vibe. Shanks refuses to comply with this newfound social expectation to be rude and mean for no reason to innocent people.

The Grandline is the most progressive of the seas, due in part to the natural insanity it breeds. The Blues aren't as open, but the East is the more chill of the four. Buggy chooses there for many reasons, but the Big Top and crew is open to any sea. There's an information network, smuggling division, crowdsourcing area, etc.

Shanks will drop tips at places he visits for Buggy to get a foothold if they don't already exist, and Buggy will drop tips for Shanks regarding pertinent information for adventures, expectations, and etiquette.

It's a good dynamic. They go for years like this.

Buggy's stint in Impel Down was.... not fun. Aside from the misgendering, general torture and absolutely overwhelming energy there, it was stifling.

Marineford was a hot mess, but by the end, Shanks offers Buggy a ride to the Big Top's docked location, and on board, he just leads Buggy to this little chest in his cabin. Says, "here, take your pick. You wear whatever is most comfortable for you." There's a dress or two, a few skirts, tops, pants, shirts, and while most of it is in different sizes, there's belts and loops. Buggy bites back tears when they find their old skirt. They'd left that one on the Oro. How did Shanks even get this??

The time skip goes down, and by the time Cross Guild is running, Buggy has had to decide between masquerading as a Cis person or just... being themself. One morning, they wake up and everything feels too TIGHT, too STIFF, too much and she's left eying her leotard, half skirt and thigh highs.

I adore this. Buggy being genderfluid is actually so important to me as a genderfluid person-- My beloved. The concept of cold reality suddenly hitting them both (because they were so, so supportive back at the Oro Jackson) when the crew disbands is so good. Shanks is extremely protective of them when that happens, refusing to let anybody talk shit about Buggy. It's just so sweet of him. Tbh, it hurts so much to think about Buggy having to hide that part of himself,,, But then they come out to Mihawk and Crocodile and it's not only that they support them but they also absolutely love them. These two men are having a whole crisis over a clown again (as usual). But yeah, it's actually really sweet to see Buggy finally being free with them in that way,, Thinking thoughts about Crocodile going full mafioso with money and buying Buggy all the clothes she wants (he does it more for himself and Mihawk but yeah).

SUN — sits comfortably somewhere in the transmascneu range i think. pangender, encompasses anything and everything. makes little to no effort into really transitioning simply because he has better things to do! he has a solar system to run! also he is above the concepts of gender. whether you think hes more "masc" or "fem" means nothing to him. hes the sun.

MERCURY — the most trans transmasc to ever trans. i dont know if hes more male or nonbinary leaning but that honestly just depends on the day for me personally. probably more nby. he 100% would go through with physically transitioning because the dysphoria is killer

VENUS — literally the complete opposite to mercury, the most trans transfem to ever fem. honestly see her as more butchy, but only really becomes more comfortable with being more masc once she has transitioned (transitioning in this case just meaning socially, though physically i imagine shes on the fence abt it. change and whatnot. she does have a bit of a chest though i think #boobs)

EARTH — transmasc like mercury, but unlike mercury he does not give a FUCKKK!!! i think you're confusing my earth for a trans man, which he very much is not considering hes a lesbian LMFAO. i see him being more bigender/genderfluid than anything, he doesnt really care to transition physically bc he likes his body! he likes the mother earth thing yk. obnoxiously transgender but you still cant misgender him. tragic. also yes he did keep them for fun

thank you very much i love your jervis too !!! ::D AND IM VERY SORRY, THIS ENDED UP BEIGN ENTIRELY JERVIS FACTS LOL . if people ask about specific rogues ill be happy to share my thoughts on them tho!! ::D and even if that doesnt happen ill get to it eventually . ANYWAY!! - My Jervis is genderfluid and switches between he/him and she/her pronouns depending on the day/week/whatever. This is part of why he connected with Wonderland so much - he related to Alice changing size uncomfortably and randomly and never really being the size she wanted to be a lot of the time - He's had schizophrenia for basically his whole life, since it started in really early childhood. His hallucinations started focusing on Wonderland stuff at around 10 - Despite what I will inevitably make Jervis say on my ask blog, HIS ALICE IS ENTIRELY FICTITIOUS! He never knew anyone real named Alice who inspired her or anything, it is entirely him manifesting his desire to be understood and no longer alone onto an imaginary woman in his brain. Also because she is imaginary and as such cannot say anything Jervis cannot imagine her saying, and Jervis doesn't exactly like himself very much, she can actually be very aggressive with him and will reprimand him for paying attention to other things, which spurs on more crimes and such - He worked at Wayne Enterprises! He was. ABSOLUTELY miserable there, just because he was so lonely. But he considers himself and Bruce Wayne friends! - On that note, he knows Bruce Wayne is Batman. But through sheer cognitive dissonance - and because his identity stuff with being Jervis vs being the Hatter is already weird - he believes that while Batman and the Mad Hatter are enemies, Bruce Wayne and Jervis Tetch are still friends. Bruce has exploited this and will continue to - He knows how to sew! Every part of his costume is handmade, and he adores new projects. He is especially meticulous with making dresses for his Alices. He even made my Jonathan's hat! - And the last and saddest fact of all. He is unfortunately 4'9".

Loki Children Headcannons

Disclaimer: probably obvious from the fact I am talking about his children, but this is myth Loki, not Marvel’s bastardisation. 

Sleipnir 

Sleipnir is the eldest and is non-binary (he/they). 

They are capable of taking on a human form and, when they do, they act like a diva who drinks way too much and complains about Odin using him as a steed. 

If they existed in the modern day, they would absolutely dress like a young woman in the 30s – shawl and all. 

Out of all the siblings, he is somehow the one with the highest alcohol tolerance. 

Loki struggled at first to bond with Sleipnir because they were born out of r*pe (depending on how you interpret the only source we actually have on his conception, it could be seen as consensual or not. I personally think it was supposed to be non-consensual but, because the author was Christian, was vague about it). 

Hel 

Her dead side is only mildly blue and bruised looking like a fresh corpse when she is happy. It becomes more grotesque the angrier she gets. She becomes a full-on skeleton on that side when she is furious.  

Hel is a lesbian and occasionally dates some of the women who die and come to Helheim but doesn’t have a consistent partner. 

She is the youngest of all her siblings but ends up acting like the eldest because the only place they can reunite is in Helheim after Ragnarök where she is queen. 

Loki, Sigyn and Angrboda still baby her though. She will never admit to secretly liking it. At least, not in front of her siblings. 

Narfi 

He is trans. I don’t know why, it's just vibes. 

He is the elder of him and Vali.

He is studious and generally much softer and nicer compared to Vali. 

He is a user of seidr (Norse magic) which he learnt from Loki and even Sigyn a bit. This made him a target of teasing as a child since seidr is a girl's thing. 

He has his mother’s dark hair and darker skin with Loki’s green eyes. 

Vali 

He is gay but started off with a lot of internalised homophobia because he was teased for being the child of Loki, a notorious genderfluid in a culture that saw feminine men as a bad thing, and became unwilling to accept what could make him seem like a girl. 

He is a warrior and is prone to rash decisions, making him a lot like Loki. 

Vali and Loki have a bit of a difficult relationship since Vali is a mama’s boy but he is so similar to Loki in many ways (which a large part of him hates but the rest of him can’t help but love). 

He is very muscular with Loki’s red hair and Sigyn’s black eyes. He has a long beard with he braids and decorates with Narfi’s help.

He used to either curl up in front of the fire, against Fenrir or in Hel or Loki’s laps. Those memories are the only thing staving off his pain from being a land serpent in the cold depths of the ocean. 

He and Fenrir used to get into play fights all the time as a pup and hatchling and someone would always end up having to break them up before they broke something. 

He can speak in human tongue, but not nearly as well as Fenrir. He is also the only non-human child of Loki who can’t take a human form.

He is a cuddly teddy bear and used to sleep curled up in bed with one of his siblings or Loki, Angrboda or Sigyn. 

He was the gentlest of his siblings before being chained up. Even after that, he remained shockingly kind but became very protective over his family as a result. 

He has black fur with an almost purplish tinge and bright yellow eyes. 

He is able to change his size, going from normal wolf to “able to eat the sun and moon” big. 

He has a human form with long, thick black hair, sideburns and the same eerie yellow eyes.

naruto - trans man, he/him. one of my simpler headcanons tbh, i just like the idea of it. he wore a binder all through og naruto, tsunade did his top surgery.

hinata - trans man, he/him. testosterone could save him. naruto cracked his egg probably, he saw him being openly transmasc and went waow...i can just become a boy?...waoww...

shino - agender, any pronouns. shino don't give a fuck, to be honest. you ask him for her pronouns and they go "not my problem. figure it out" and leave without elaborating.

gaara - trans woman, she/her. estrogen could save her. her and rock lee are so butch4butch. probably cracked her egg between og naruto and shippuden, came out to kankuro and temari first and then slowly made her way through the list of people she wanted to tell.

rock lee - transmasc lesbian, he/him. boydyke, honestly. he's such a girlkisser. was absolutely ecstatic when gaara came out.

deidara - bigender, he/she. i just don't think he'd fuck w/ gender conformity. both a lesbian and a gay man, depending on the day and who she's with. classic fagdyke type of deal.

sasori - trans man, he/him. again i just like the idea. i could also make a case for the themes of his character, and the whole "changing himself into a puppet" thing.

orochimaru - non-binary/genderfluid, they/them. pretty straightforward. essentially canon because of boruto. personally i'm just really interested in the possibility of their transness having influenced their life more than they think, since they were already othered as a child. being specifically neither male nor female definitely influenced their peers' perception of them as inhuman.

konan - trans woman, she/it. i just feel it in my bones.

pain - trans man, he/it. they're matching.

the brothers r first because i was thinking abt this for one billion hours:

asmo is genderfluid and i think he'd use she/he pronouns. (we could also argue bigender asmo because that'd be cool also)

he/they transmasc mammon. literally they/them'd in a call and i saw a transmasc mammon headcanon and i think abt it all the time now.

it's been discussed here before but levi is nonbinary transfem. she uses they/she pronouns and i will die on this hill. also uses some type of neopronouns. gamer girlfailure /j (might be femcel. idk it might be the amount of times they use "normie") (i'm in love with her)

belphie is too tired to give a shit about gender. he says "no" if asked. they/it/he maybe. probably uses star/starself neos too cuz that stuff rocks (agender belphie anyone???)

beel uses any pronouns and doesn't rly label his gender i don't think. never really gave it much thought probably but i don't think he cares. love them lots. :3

i don't think satan really cares about gender either BUT i think he could identify with catgender (he/cat pronouns (maybe more) he'd use cat-centric neopronouns this has to be canon)

nonbinary lucifer is canon on my SOUL. they use they/she/he pronouns because they can and will.

barbatos is agender. bro is a time master lord guy they do NOT give a shit. they/them and maybe it/its depending on the day

solomon uses them all. every single pronoun. they've lived so fucking long that they just said "fuck it" or something and claimed all of them. he made the genderfluid in his cauldron and promptly drank it. uses neos too but there's a lot that fit here. maybe it's all of them too. i do think xe/xem (and other variations) are used though because i said so

i don't know if angels have a concept of gender or not. they/he simeon though something about him is nonbinary af luv u simeon

i'm not sure for luke because he's like... 10... but again idk if angels really have the gender concept at all (probably not they're supernatural beings. they all are actually). might be a mainly he/him user but doesn't mind it when other pronouns are used. idk the gender because hes a child but maybe he'll figure it out later in life cuz rn he's worried about baking really good treats for michael

last but not least the characters they refuse to add to the system (please im in love with thirteen please PLEASE):

mephisto got that bigender swag idk something about them screams it. i do think they use they/he pronouns though (maybe she/her also, but it depends on the day lawl)

Like Orange knows MC is not inherently evil or anything, he just hates that she’s hiding something as when people are lying it irritates him. She thinks her life is none of his goddamn business so she’s not telling him jack about themselves leading to this whole hatred between them. 

They game together so often! Like almost every night. It was just a coincidence that they found each other in their party one day, and then it kept happening so they became online friends before using mic to talk now. Neither recognise the other's voice because they are so friendly online and so stubborn in person. 

They have absolutely ranted to each other about one another before and neither of them have connected the dots. 

Even if neither of them have connected that their online buddy is also their arch nemesis, both of them are super perceptive and smart which only adds fuel to the fire of hate that they share. They are in some of the same classes and have a major rivalry over top of said class. 

Orange is totally crushing on his online friend even if he’s never seen what she looks like and as said in another post Orange’s friend Asgore keeps trying to set him up with the kid of one of his other close friends (who also just happens to be MC) but Orange keeps denying it.

Mc is the first to figure out that her online friend is the skeleton monster who hates her guts. Something he said that happened to her connects all the dots and she feels like an idiot. 

She starts being nicer to Orange IRL but he is super sus about that and she just feels like a moron. She wants to hang with Orange away from the computer screen but if she tells him he’ll think she had conducted some elaborate scheme to trick him and he’d be crushed.

Sucks that shes also acting weird online now and Orange feels terrible that something is bothering his crush. She asks him a hypothetical about if she was someone he hated in real life and he said he would never hate her. 

She’s going to confess to him but through a bunch of mishaps he figures it out first and is so distraught. Because on the one hand he doesn’t want to hate her and on the other she lied to him. The drama and misunderstanding is so huge that the two need to calm down for a bit

Then one day Orange sits next to her in the cafeteria at lunch. He starts ranting about a level he can’t get past and from there they become friends again with Orange defending her to the others which Blue does not understand. 

Side note! I think the MC for this particular story is going to be genderfluid (yay representation for me). I am referring to them as she a lot currently but in the future it could be they or he depending on the day or story plot points. She is probably their default too but I want the MC to look androgynous so they can dress either way.

I kinda have this comfort headcanon that Mike is genderfluid cause I like projecting my own identity/sexuality onto my fav characters and cause I need some wholesome and gender accepting content (More under the cut)

I feel like Mike has just recently discovered he was genderfluid because he never really thought about questioning his identity cause really...his mind was always full with other things. Maybe he randomly read the word and the definition somewhere and it just...clicked. Or Ness, who's really into the subject rambled about some terms anf what they meant and he went like: "Hold on, thats me!"

He usually just sticks with hoodies/plain shirts no matter what he's feeling like cause it's the safest option...and because he cant afford that many outfits anyways.

When he told Abby, he struggled to find the right words, afraid she wouldn't understand but she does. Kids are smart

Mike told her over dinner and it probably went sth like: "So sometimes I have a big brother and sometimes I have a big sister?" "Uh, yes..." "And sometimes you're neither?" "...yes." "Cool. Can I have some more soup?"

We already know she's creative and likes to draw, maybe she's interested in anything that has to do with crafting and makes pins/bracelets in different colors or sth for Mike in school that he can wear so she knows which pronouns to use.

And to throw in some securitywaiter:

Mike was already dating Ness when he found out he was genderfluid because Ness is really invested with everything that has to do with the LGBT community. He's loud and proud and loves to go to pride parades and stuff. He also introduced him to all the different terms.

When Mike told him, he was really supportive. He even lets Freddie wear a bandana with the genderfluid flag most of the rime to show his support and Mike still wonders where he got it.

Ness changes pet names and compliments depending on how Mike feels

Mike feeling pretty euphoric when she hears a "Hey beautiful" or simply the word "girlfriend" on a girl day

Mike cant really choose a good name for such days, she'd just stick with Mikey or Michel, but feels like they're too plain. Abby and Ness saw it as their job to pick the perfect name and have already spent enough time doing research on different names and their meaning

For some reason I feel like Ness would be good with Make Up and would offer to do her Make Up or help her when she wants to try out something else

Mike actually struggles most days to detect what they're feeling like and just groans in frustration when Ness asks them (cause thats a whole mood) and Ness sticks with neutral terms of endearment when that is the case or uses the funniest pet names ever lmao "Okay, today is just a cute potatoe day then." "Hello my beloved gremlin." etc

Renevou / Vou ~ a shattered!dream au of which ate the negativity apple to become the guardian of negativity, taking over his brother’s original post. goes by vou in the multiverse, but can be called dream too. they use all pronouns and are genderfluid. kindheartedness, honesty, and determination drives them, but their negative apple may reveal a side of himself they don’t want others to see. works alone, and resides in a small cottage in the outskirts of the multiverse.

vou is british! she was even nicknamed “brittered” by friends on my discord server and has kind of stuck since, but please don’t call them that ❤️

his soul is considered unstable and can act up often, causing abrupt emotions and actions.

his social and love life is down the drain— they would like to improve, but people have been rude to them more times than preferred, so they keep to themselves often.

Rêve [re-v] ~ a positive guardian incarnation, following the death of dream [of whom was shattered] in their universe. she and her brother nuit [played/owned by @/denieatsart] were raised by ink and zephyrtop, and the two are new to the whole guardian thing and are used to being harassed by others in multiverse because of the mistakes of their past lives. she is trans, autistic, a minor, and uses she/they pronouns. she’s very socially anxious, but sweet, empathetic, lively, and sometimes naïve when she warms up to others.

So uh, what is the best way to tell people my pronouns (freinds who know I'm genderfluid) in casual convo or something?

Also how do you know what pronouns to use that day??? one time in the middle of the night I was full blown He/Him all the WAY. Wake up and I am no where near that and have no clue what's happening but it ain't masc.

It really all depends on how subtle you want to be:

If your friends are attentive people, you could just use your pronouns in a phrase and let your friends pick up on it. You could also tell them to generally pay attention to the pronouns you use for yourself and just copy that.

A quick heads-up at the beginning of the day (or whenever your pronouns change) can go a long way! E.g.: "Hey, I'm using he/him today! Anyways, I wanted to tell you about this thing!"

Visual clues! You could for example make bracelets with certain colors, each color being assigned a pronoun (e.g. purple=she/her, green=they/them, blue=he/him). That way your friends have an easy clue they can follow that others don't have to know about. If you are comfortable, you could also wear pronoun pins.

As for your other question, I think it's really individual. I personally don't fluctuate that much between pronouns, and I always use any pronouns, so this isn't really something I deal with. But I've heard from other genderfluid people to just try them out to yourself. Refer to yourself with different pronouns, and see which one makes you feel the most euphoric in the moment (or which one makes you the most uncomfortable is a good clue as well!).

You might also realize the answer spontaneously from reacting positively/negatively to the way other people refer to you. There is really no guide on how to know your pronouns, just take your time and don't get too caught up on it. Just use whichever pronouns feel the best in the moment, and if they suddenly change then that's fine too <3
