something that,no matter the fandom no matter the character, pisses me off is when character that are like past the age of 15 are treated like little babies. especially in the context of conflict or war. heros or villains.

a character talking about how they want an entire group of people dead because they’re slightly different and the fandom is like “he’s so sad and misunderstood…” “he’s my babygirl princess” no girl that is man murderer

a character that went through the most destructive complex storyline but has “softer” characteristics like being kind of nice and suddenly theyre a complete moron that is scared of hurting people and can’t be mean ever

HIYA its been a while oomfie. I wanted to ask if I can ask questions that vaguely allude to XC3 -- nothing that hits your blacklist but like. Questions about say Ruby and what you think her class would hypothetically be in XC3 type thing

Hello, friend!! It has been a bit, but it’s nice to hear from you!! I hope that you’re doing well at the moment, and also, thank you for sending this!

It really means a lot to me that you want to know more about Ruby!!! I’d be happy to take questions about her, it’ll be a good way of developing her more. You can ask whatever you specifically want to ask, whether it’s about Ruby or anything else - I just can’t guarantee I’ll be able to answer in very much specific detail or in a way that’s very game story-compliant. But, I’ll still absolutely try and give it a go!! I do feel like I have at least a decent grasp on some of the XC3 characters, as a result of hearing people - largely you, actually! - talking about them online here and there, but I still have little-to-no experience of gameplay, either from playing my own copy or from watching footage online (since I have not done either of these things). I know someone did some really good blade and driver guides for XC2, so if they’ve done the same thing for the XC3 characters, that will hopefully be a good resource.

Regarding your hypothetical question about class, the one thing I can tell you is that Ruby would be an attacker class, because this both matches her parents (Pyra and Sapphire) and would fit in well with her friends from XC2 (Ursula and Poppi, who are a healer and rank respectively). ..That’s definitely all I have so far because I’ve only just decided on it, but I’ll definitely try and think about it more/am happy to talk it through with you if you want to know more!!

Of all fictional characters which 3 would you bring to life and why?

Ohhh ok. I had to really think about this one. Because almost every character death I thought of happened for a reason.

Spoilers for Attack on Titan, The Last Hours and Jujutsu Kaisen

• Erwin Smith. This is not Armin hate. He's my favourite character. But I'd bring Erwin back because I'm curious. Part of me has always wondered how much of the story would change if Levi chose him over Armin. Erwin's only goal was to discover the truth of their world. He sacrificed thousands of lives to achieve it. And I'd love to see his reaction to the reveal. "Who do you think the real enemy is?" How would he react? He already felt the guilt of sending all those soldiers to their deaths and now he'd also have to reconcile with being the Colossal Titan and with all the death and destruction he'll be responsible for in the future. Would he feel like everything he did up until this point was meaningless? All those lives lost for the sake of humanity only to discover that the truth will only bring more death. Would that make him more jaded or would he be happy to finally know the truth? And the biggest question. Would he stand with Eren? I personally don't think so, but I've seen enough people being fully convinced that he would, and it does make me wonder. 

• Christopher Lightwood. Obviously. I've said this before, but his death was Clare's biggest cop out. He was the only one openly defending Grace and he already knew what she did when she was in the Silent City, and he didn't seem bothered at all. How would that affect his relationship with James? They were cousins and best friends and now he chose a girl who hurt his friend over him. I feel like we were robbed of that confrontation. Yes, James wants to move on and forget about it, but the fact that Kit openly defended a girl who SAed him in front of him would cause some friction in their friendship. But we didn't get to see any of that because Clare chose the easy way out and killed him. Why write interesting character dynamics when you can write a boring love triangle right? 

• Nanami Kento. There's no real reason behind this one…I just miss him and he deserved to retire.
