Who orders takeaway?

Honestly, I think neither Ray nor Fenrir are really too guilty of this, not very often anyway. It��s a rare occasion for either of them to order takeaway, but I do think Fenrir would do it a little bit more often, and that when he does, it’s usually the more ‘junk foody’ order out of the two of them.

Who has the more adventurous love life?

See, I think until he finds someone who really interests him (so, in short, someone he has to spend a lot of time around, enough to get to know them enough for it to dawn on him that hey, this person is kind of awesome and I think I might be catching feelings for them), Ray’s not really all that interested in dating. He has a lot going on in his life and it’s just not something he prioritizes. And I’m not saying that Fenrir really has all this free time or that dating is something Fenrir really prioritizes either, because it’s kind of not, but at the same time, I do see Fenrir having a more marked interest in dating (and sex) than Ray does, so by that reasoning alone, I do think it’s Fenrir with the more adventurous love life. Add to that the fact that I firmly believe Fenrir broke a couple hearts in high school, often completely unintentionally and that he’s always had a penchant for attracting people who are a little crazy to begin with, and you can imagine the issues those crazy people can cause when he breaks their hearts, usually by not wanting anything either at all or anything serious with them.

Who is better at keeping secrets?

Ray. Ray is a fucking vault when he wants to be. The man actually knows a lot more than most people would assume, just in general and in regard to all the men under his command. But Ray takes this information seriously and, unless it’s of importance that someone else knows it, he’s not sharing it.

Who knows every rumor?

Weirdly enough, I feel like they both learn them quickly. Fenrir is so friendly and approachable, and I feel like people tell him the gossip and the dirt and all their own secrets pretty damn easily while Ray is quieter, both in nature and in how he moves and talks, and honestly, if he’s not aiming to be noticed, he can go pretty well under the radar and because of this, he’s really prone to just overhearing conversations and such. His really fantastic sense of hearing really helps with this.

Who suggests a movie night?

Now, we’re working under the assumption that movies are a thing in Cradle, which they aren’t in canon, but under that assumption, I honestly think these two have a monthly standing movie night where they just relax all night and eat snacks and watch movies. Both of them bring a movie they want to watch that month and it’s just really chill and relaxing and while both men love their busy, crazy lives, they do look forward to the laziness of movie night. I could even see it getting to the point where it becomes a ‘movie day’ of laziness, unless the Army is needed, in which case it is postponed, because the other Black Army men will notice this tradition of Ray and Fenrir’s and they’ll really want to join in and bring along their movie picks and so on. I will say, Ray tends to go more comedies or feel-good family movies while Fenrir tends to go more action, so they often end up watching a lot of action-comedies to meet in the middle.

Who tries to convince the other to try skydiving?

Brave of you to assume there would need to be convincing on either end. Honestly, Fenrir brings it up as something he would like to do, because Fenrir is the more daredevil of the two of them, but when Fenrir tells Ray he doesn’t want to do it alone and wants his best buddy to do it with him, there’s no convincing needed for Ray because he’s agreeing.

Who is the holiday planner?

Well, it’s definitely neither Ray nor Fenrir. Sirius and Seth are really the planners in the Black Army.

Who spams the other with memes?

Fenrir would send more Tik-Toks, Ray would send more picture memes. That is, of course, operating under the assumption that such things exist in Cradle, but I do feel that texting-wise, these two would almost certainly go through spells where they communicate solely under memes and dumb videos.

Who has never enough money with them and lets the other pay for things?

Okay, I don’t want you to think this is a cop-out or anything, but this is honestly neither of these men. Neither Ray nor Fenrir is hurting for money and, while Fenrir can come off as a little bit absent-minded at time, he’s really not forgetful of the important things and both men always have money on them if they plan on buying anything. If they don’t have money on them, they simply don’t buy anything.

Who wants to try a classic sleepover?

Again, brave of you to assume Ray and Fenrir haven’t had sleepovers before. Sleepovers were so much a staple of these boy’s school lives beside each other and while they probably didn’t look like what everyone thinks of for sleepovers, because the word normally conjures up images of young girls and makeup and boy talk and giggling, both Ray and Fenrir have really fond memories of games of truth or dare, camping out in tents and ‘roughing it’ or of frog-hunting and firefly-catching.

Who answers their phone at 2 am?

It’s more than likely going to be Ray. He’ll be asleep, most certainly, and he probably won’t be happy to be woken up, but where he is in a position of power and authority, he assumes that anyone calling that late is calling because it’s important and he snaps awake at the sound of the phone. Fenrir will sleep through the phone or he puts it on silent while he sleeps.

Who plays pranks?

I think I’ve actually brought this one up before in previous headcanons, but both of these men play pranks on each other. And if Ray plays a prank on Fenrir, then Fenrir has to pull a prank in return, right? And since Fenrir got Ray in return, there has to be some retaliation from Ray, right? The pranks will spiral and get bigger and more elaborate and they tend to evolve into good-spirited but all-out prank wars that tend to either irk or amuse the rest of the Black Army, who will often end up baring the brunt of these elaborate and insane pranks as well.

Who initiates dates for the other?

Neither. If Fenrir is interested in dating, he tends to do pretty well finding people to date on his own. He’s rather charismatic and handsome, so Ray has never really had to help him. Ray, as mentioned, doesn’t have a lot of interest in dating and a lot of people might assume that ‘well, hey, Fenrir doesn’t want his bro to end up alone, so he has to be setting Ray up on all these blind dates’. But nope. Fenrir understands that Ray simply is busy and doesn’t have an interest in dating and he’s cool with Ray’s choice because, hey, it’s Ray’s life and Ray’s choice and who is Fenrir to judge. And Fenrir knows that Ray would hate being set up on blind dates and he’s not going to make his friend uncomfortable and trash Ray’s boundaries because that would make him a shit friend, in Fenrir’s opinion, and one thing about Fenrir is that he does try really hard to be a good friend.

Who is more chaotic?

Oh, this is easily Fenrir. Fenrir is such a force of chaotic good and he’s a little insane, but god, do we all love him around this blog.

Who has the more bizarre quirks?

Now, you would think that it would be Fenrir, simply because he is more chaotic than Ray, but it’s actually the exact opposite because Ray has such weird little things about him. He can’t sneeze properly – his sneezes always come out silent but his whole face crinkles and wrinkles right up and his sneezes make his whole body move, for example.

Who spends the most money on unnecessary things?

It’s Ray…and it’s definitely on cat treats and toys or cat related items.
