#atlas and the stars kin

Apologize for the rather obscure source (feel free to decline or ask for more information), but may I get a scrying answer for Quasar from Atlas and the Stars (indie animated series)? I would like to know what my relationship with Nebula was like, especially after I had lashed out to her in episode one.

I used a slightly modified version of my usual ritual for this and used salt water dyed with bat's blood ink as a scrying medium.

Q. What was this anon's relationship like with Nebula (Atlas and the Stars) in their Quasar timeline?

What I saw: I first saw a ringed planet in symbol form with a small opening, followed by a cluster of 3 dots and then a flash of dark green. (The dark green flashes were something that occurred many times throughout the reading.)

I next saw a figure lying down, then a dark green flash, and then it disappeared. I also saw two dots that stayed equidistant, with one "chasing" the other. There would often be one or two dots in the peripheral, as if watching. I saw a hooded face that appeared a few times in the reading.

At one point, the image of this hooded figure became a glaring eye looking to the right.

After this, my intuition told me to focus on the equidistant dots again. This time, they looked to be facing each other, but much farther away. The dot that was being "chased" earlier becomes "cornered," and then it's image turns into that of a reproachful eye, looking to the left.

My intuition told me there was a final image to be seen, and I saw the shadows of two different hands. The one on the left seemed to be grasping or grabbing, while the one on the right seemed to be pinching.

My interpretation: Person A was lauded and put on a pedestal by person B, who also often chased person A. This admiration turned into jealousy, which person A picked up on and exhausted them. This jealousy then turned into suspicion, likely due to one or two outside influences, who perhaps enjoyed to "watch the show."

It is possible that this soured relationship culminated in a physical confrontation at some point, indicated by the hands making such negatively associated gestures (grabbing, pinching) and the eyes looking towards them, emphasizing them.

I also think that person A is also represented in the "hooded figure" I saw, which I believe to be an alternate identity for person A (which is what person B may have admired in the first place.)

I'm not 100% sure which of you is person A and who is person B, but my intuition tells me that you are most likely person A in this reading.

putting the background story and symbolism about this piece under the cut bc i feel like it really deserves an in-depth explanation

i can’t believe i’ve never properly discussed it before, but Liz’s main goal is to stop Chief turning out like his father.

after she tries and fails to kill their Chief Circle and instead kills his guard in Atlas’s defence (and i’ve decided that this is the incident where she loses her arm), she can’t risk taking any more blows like that. so instead of resorting to physical violence, she instead tries her hand at ‘positive manipulation’ to tear her problem from the root up.

she makes sure Chief has enough emotional ties to the lower classes (Atlas and Vance), irregulars (Ruth and Elijah) and lines (Liz, Ruth, Stella and Irene) for him to reconsider everything he’s been told about them. this is all to make sure that when Chief Sr. kicks the bucket they have a somewhat more progressive next-of-kin lined up to take his place. this works for her as Liz first meets Chief when he’s only about 15, so he’s still pretty young and an impressionable teenager.

but Chief Sr is still alive so boo. he has a strong grip on everything and has Chief Jr pinned under his thumb out of fear. while he doesn’t know about Stella, he does know that this ‘false shepard’ is up to something that involves his son. again, he still doesn’t know exactly who Liz is but he’s working on figuring it out.

so this image of Liz - a large, dark, looming, unnerving figure - is made to fit the circles’ depiction of her. how the next Chief Circle and his daughter are locked in her clawed grasp, and she smiles almost mockingly about it. her prosthetic is replaced by a white geometric hand and it sticks out like a sore thumb, as though it makes her ‘unhuman’ - but easily identifiable. her body is made up of a mass of lines, joined together in their force (danger !! women !!). the glass is only coloured around her head (the sun is the same as her colour palette when she’s not greyscale) and at her ‘feet’ (it’s more like the bottom of her torso but you know what i mean) which is mostly shaped with triangles - as if she’s breaking their world of grey out over the blood of the circles (again, i use purple as circle symbolism). the sun is rising in the sky, as the dawn of a new day and a new era begins.

essentially, she’s a revolutionary of the lower class, and a tyrant to the upper classes.

So, the endings* for my first Iconoclast run of Rogue Trader:

With Nomos at my side, my RT establishes a new order in the Expanse, one of mercy, compassion, and understanding, so antithetical to the Imperium that I'm declared an apostate, and Nomos creates a dimensional barrier to lock the Imperium out of my territory.

Abelard serves as best he can for as long as he can, eventually retires to look after his family, and lives a long happy life. He never quite escapes the trauma of Commoragh, but it doesn't hold him back.

Idira continues to serve in the Rogue Trader's retinue for several years, until the warp eventually overcomes her, and Jae takes her somewhere isolated to live out her final moments in peace.

Speaking of Jae, she becomes a powerful merchant that rules the Koronus economy from the shadows. Good for her.

Sister Argenta establishes a new order of Sisters of Battle, but when confronted with the Rogue Trader's independence from the Imperium, chooses to leave her order and travel as an exile rather than denounce her friend.

Yrliet travels with the Rogue Trader for a few years as a friend and ally before returning to Janus to depart through the webway with the rest of her people after their brief period of coexistence with humanity, taking her new appreciation for mankind with her to share with her kin.

Heinrix takes over as Lord Inquisitor and Warden of the Expanse, leading the good fight against the enemies of humanity in his friend's domain.

Pasqal becomes a heretek and kills Yrliet goes on to seek more knowledge with his followers as the Messiah of Discontinuing. With the Explorator fleet free from the restrictions against creation, he and Abel pioneer the restoration of myriad lost technologies.

Ulfar travels the stars as the Lone Wolf, smiting evil wherever he can find it, and inspiring heroes and legends everywhere he goes.

And Lady Cassia, wife to the Rogue Trader, succumbs to her mutations after a short but happy life negotiates the removal of the Starway Atlas from the Orsellio Navigators, and with her spouse's influence on the Aeldari, quietly settles the schism within the house without taking over as Novator. Thanks to the revived Null Caliph of Kiava Gamma handling the duty of projecting routes for warp travel, Navigators are no longer forced to bear the burden of warp exposure, and become a protected people under the Rogue Trader's rule, allowing Lady Cassia to live a long, happy life with her spouse.

Marazhai is still dead after the Rogue Trader shot him back in Chapter 3.

Music and related hobbies

I found that rhythm games inspired me to try out some music related hobbies! Here are some ones you can do quite easily (and for free in some cases).

Try and instrument | Before buying one that you don't know if you will stick with, you can try using a digital alternative. For example, there's many apps that allow you to play the piano for free, you could try learning a song on that you like on it.

Music producing | Again this would be an expensive hobby, so think carefully before making any purchases of music software. However you can get Ableton free for free for 30 days.

Making playlists | I don't know if this would entirely class as a hobby, but we take great joy in making playlists and sorting music for all sorts of things including: Alters, daydreams, kins, characters, ships, interests, ect. You can use most music streaming software for this, and you could even download music and sort that.

Learn music theory | This will depend on how academic you are, but there are free apps and videos that can teach you about music theory and how music is made. This doesn't mean you have to make music, but learning about it can be fun.

Learn a dance from a song you enjoy | If you play rythm games like project sekai, then there's a chance there will be a dance, or maybe an unofficial dance cover that someone else has done. This could also link into sports.

Going to the gym and/or exercising at home | Some exercises you can do specifically to improve are linked here, however if you don't want to do them for any reason then the gym has a lot of equipment for you to experiment on. You can also do these exercises at home incase going to the gym isn't doable for any reason.

Running, jogging or walking | You may not be able to run every day, but even a brief moment outside can help with improving your mood.

Star and cloud gazing | This is a good way to relax outside (or even inside), you don't have to invest in anything. There's a few apps that can tell you about the stars you're looking at. This is also fun to do as a system and/or with friends, as your opinions will probably vary.

Learn about astronomy | This could be a very outdoor based or indoor based for you, depending on how you feel. You can read books or take trips and go outside to see the stars.

Learn about the zodiac | This may depend on how you feel about spirituality and the zodiac in general, but we find it interesting to learn about (even if we don't necessarily believe in it)
