The Atlanta police want to remind you that exercising your first amendment rights is considered terrorism as is any political opposition.

Cop City: Racist police terror continues in Atlanta
By Lev Koufax
On Jan. 18, police and officials demonstrated just how far they would go to secure the Cop City site for what is really a domestic military base. In short, they would kill to do so.
That day, a Georgia State Trooper executed a queer environmental activist of color, Manuel Esteban Paez Terán (known by the nickname Tortuguita.)

Oren Root, a longtime New York City lawyer and Columbia University graduate who was at the school when anti-Vietnam War protests rocked it in 1968, said Shafik's summoning of police was "an extraordinary miscalculation."
"President Shafik and her advisers clearly didn't learn from history," said Root, who was a top editor at The Spectator, the Columbia student newspaper, in 1968 and 1969. “Calling in the cops was clearly a mistake. Things have not gotten any calmer.”

Protester sets themself on fire outside Israel consulate in Atlanta, Georgia
To add insult to injury an Israeli spokesperson declared this an "act of hate". To play the victim card when someone else attempts suicide has got to be a new low. I don't think anyone would label the monk who did this same thing decades ago in protest of the war and killing in Vietnam an act of hate.
The victims name has not been released but they have said that it is a woman & she is in critical condition due to extensive burns. A security guard also suffered minor burns to his hands when he attempted to stop the woman as she poured gasoline on herself and set it alight. The guard then tried to help extinguish the flames

A week of actions in Atlanta supporting Palestine
By Lizz Toledo
All over Atlanta, anti-racist, anti-imperialist, and anti-Zionist activists took over the streets despite the attempts by the APD and the Georgia State Patrol to surround us and get us off the streets. Families, youth, Jews, Palestinians, BLM, and LGBTQ+ united against the Israeli terrorist state. “Netanyahu, you can’t hide; we charge you with genocide.”

According to the search warrant used by police, owning cameras, camping equipment, paint and black clothing are now evidence that you're conspiring to commit domestic terrorism. Forty police raided private land, where people were camping with the owner's permission, and damaged their property, slashing tents and breaking the windows of camper vans. They arrested one person, who happened to have an outstanding parking ticket.
