yea idk. i generally liked datv, combat/exploring in particular was for me extremely fun. did a mage on underdog. The game ran flawlessly on launch day with a mid gaming rig, which is unfortunately not the fucking norm anymore. I personally think it was quite pretty, and did see stylization that tied it backwards to other games.

the game has many flaws in culture, characterization, writing, but i can recognize that, be critical of it, and still enjoy it. cause it's a just a fucking video game at the end of the day. I almost wish it wasn't a dragon age game cause it just brings so much fucking baggage along side it.

I will say, that not enough of you are prepared for what private equity/corporate money will continue to do to the quality of games from big studios. I am going to enjoy this bit of representation, even if flawed, for now because the american apocalypse is on the immediate horizon and I doubt we'll see a big studio in this country with an NB character at the forefront in the next decade.

Who remembers Castlevania Curse of Darkness? (I reckon a fair number of you since this one has an existing tag it just gets ignored a lot)

…I really like this one, it’s actually my favorite of the 3D-vanias (I had no love for Lord of Shadows.. more like l…l-load of shat ohs… gotem) mainly for the shear variety in combat options you have and the Innocent Devil System. True the back tracking and gathering the mats to make certain I.Ds was a pain in the rect but the evolution tree forcing me to play with different weapon types just to see what interesting new form my already forged Devils will take made it fun. The abundance of chairs all around the game world that existed just to be sat in to see a new animation was fun. The secret little spots you could stand in to heal or knock into to get a little reward was fun. THE CHARACTER DESIGNS WERE FUN! Look at these two! These two deserve to be remembered and brought back on a modern console! Isaac alone would thrive on Tumblr!

It is a crime that the Netflix series got to put its hands on this game but we still haven’t gotten a single remake/remaster/rerelease forever trapping this game on the PS2 and Xbox.

People are right GameCube version of majoras mask is indeed the worst

I redid all the side quest and main quest I did last time before it crashed by talking to the wounded soldier to get the stone mask ( I got the zora mask, did Romani ranch side quest and got the Garo master mask before it crashed the first time)

I constantly saved it in between quests by owl statues in my second play through, (game did save what I did btw I had to keep editing out to even save it), did a last save before Cremias side quest, it crashed after I did it and im back to clock town after the snow head temple practically back to square one :/ as if I didn't redo all of that

Honestly just try to get the wii virtual console wad file of play it on switch online

So much better than the constant awful crashing in the GameCube version

i just had a dream where i had been yard sale shopping at someones house, and they had this big cardboard box full of N64 games, and on the box had the writing "3 games have water damage" and listed the serial numbers for each cartridge rather than listing the names. anyway i don't remember a lot of the cartridges names beyond one clearly being "Super Mario 64 DS", which even in the dream i was confused by. within the box was another mario title that was similar to mario pinball and mario golf, and came with a miniature set you had to put together and included little fence posts you had to click into the board to ensure the marble wouldn't fall out during play.

anyway so im curious about a lot of these N64 games, since ive never heard of them, and i wanted to see if they were custom or bootlegs. a seperate family at the sale is looking at a miniature house of sorts as im pulling out my phone to look up the names of these games. im not even able to type anything in before i hear two giant concrete cylinders hit the floor from just around the corner of the basement. that's right. the mother fucking waterwraith appeared

my goal with all my Thralls designs, especially those that appear in part 1 (yes there are parts, don't ask..........), is that you could reduce them to 30 polygons and they would still somewhat read as those characters. so Big Shapes it is.

majoras mask twilight princess and tears of the kingdom are like three very distinct shades of "dark zelda game" so when a zelda game is considered "dark like majoras mask" it's not true because majoras mask was a very specific type of dark.

My ex/roommate moved out and while I am kinda sad and now lonely in a house by myself I took the time to reorganize after a few days and make the space mine again.
