So... before tomorrow's episode drops:
What is up with the Fangs?
theory talk + spoilers for episodes 0-5 of the suckening
Emizel has been described as (at least mechanically) being part Ventrue, part Brujah. The Ventrue part was inherited from his mother, the literal Ventrue queen; so Emizel's sire was from that clan.
The guy mentioned needing to 'prove himself', probably to his higher-ups who are also vampires, maybe even the ones who embraced him. The name too - with such overt theming - makes be think that the gang was founded and run by vampires.
Interested in seeing if the Fangs are affiliated with the local vamp society aligned with the Queen - working to maintain influence over organised crime, similar to how Deacon has some control over the LAPD - or if they're part of a faction trying to undermine her rule (think the Sabbat or Anarch movement of base-game VTM).
Both would have interesting consequences on the Demons, now that Emizel's aware of his claim to the throne.
Either 1) Emizel can take over the Fangs, or 2) He just became their prime target after he put a 'kill me if you want any chance of securing the throne for yourself' sign on his back with that little announcement at the Elysium.

Yk what I want? I want a very early stages post canon labrumisu, but from Chilchuck's POV.
Imagine mister 'interparty romance is the devil' visiting court just to see these three circling each other like a pack of uniquely unhinged cats.
And of course he sees it immediately, he's nothing if not perceptive and he's seen this happen so, so many times before. Kabru is hardly subtle in his fascination with Laios, who trusts him in turn more than nearly anybody else. He can see how close Mithrun and Kabru still are, even when there's little reason for the former captain to even stay in Melini. He can see where this is going. And he can see the disaster it's gonna end up in.
So he's just staring at them in horror, trying to figure out what in the world the dynamic here even is and glaring daggers at Kabru all the while for seemingly being the linchpin of this entire bullshit situation.
King, his adviser and a fucking foreign noble?? Who thought THAT was a good idea! Is nobody else seeing this?? (no lol) Why is nobody objecting to this politically unsound love triangle that could literally ruin the kingdom they've only just established??
The anger! The distress! The despair when he first sees Laios getting all giddy when Mithrun so much as talks to him. Because hell, now he can't even blame the entire situation on one pretty boy insisting on having fingers in every possible pie, on political and personal level both!
And then they just. Quietly get together. All three of them. And Chil's just watching from the sidelines in complete bafflement because he's invented infinite worst case scenarios for how this will implode in all of their faces and destroy their friend group and topple the entire country and--
Instead they do. This. He'd be relieved if he wasn't so goddamn mad that he's spent months worrying about this shit just for them to resolve it in the least dramatic way possible.
Fuck this, he's taking a holiday.

Prompt: Anakin plays Fuck, Marry, Kill with the Clones or someone else when his Master comes in.
“Fuck, marry, kill: Ventress, Dooku, Greivous.”
“Oh screw you,” Rex groans, his head falling back, eyes squeezed shut like he can erase the question from his mind if he tries hard enough, “That’s horrible.”
“That is the point of the game, Captain.”
Anakin and the handful of clones around the table chuckle mischievously at the horrified look of obvious annoyance on Rex’s face, prodding him with playful elbows and a teasing stream of “Come on, who’s it gonna be? You have to answer!”
Laughter flows easily tonight, still a few days travel away from their next engagement, enjoying the calm comfort of companionship and Waxer’s homebrew [well, Anakin is not entirely certain it could reasonably be described as enjoyable but it certainly is potent.]
“Kill Greivous,” Rex says with an almost sober certainty, “That spider freak gives me the creeps.”
There’s a general hum of agreement around the table before Rex continues.
“I guess marry Dooku? Hope the old man croaks immediately after the wedding?”
“So you’re fucking the witch?”
“Guess so,” Rex shrugs as a few other clones mutter that they wouldn’t exactly mind taking the sith assassin for a ride.
“Your turn, General” someone announces, a chorus of “Ooooo”s sounding from all around him.
“Alright,” Anakin replies coolly, folding his arms over his chest and sitting back in his chair, “Hit me with it.”
Rex hums consideringly, drawing out the prompting question of “Fuck, marry, kill,” like he’s trying to come up with the most horrifying combination possible and Anakin only narrows his gaze.
“Master Yoda—“
“You bastard,” Anakin scoffs before the grand master’s entire name has even leaves his captain's mouth.
“Master Jocasta Nu—“
“I could have you demoted, you know.”
“And—“
The word seems to stretch on forever as Rex’s eyes dart around the room, trying to decide on the final name in his torturous trilogy. Then his eyes brows shoot up, his eyes widening over Anakin’s shoulder.
“General Kenobi!”
Anakin’s heart lurches, a hot twisting in his gut at the mere suggestion that he could ever kill Obi-Wan. Then at the thought of fucking him. Marrying him.
“Okay, hold on, I need some clarification,” Anakin blurts out, the brew in his blood loosening his lips, “If you marry someone, you can fuck them whenever you want, right?”
Rex doesn’t seem to understand the question, or maybe he’s had one glass too many, his eyes glazed and face gone a bit ashen.
“Like, it doesn’t have to be a sexless marriage, does it?”
“Uh, sir— General Kenobi is—“
“Amazing? Yeah, I know. He’d be the perfect husband but if I had to wake up every morning to that man in my bed and couldn’t fuck him—“
Behind him, someone clears their throat and suddenly Anakin realizes not a single clone is looking at him.
“Well, I’m glad to hear you wouldn’t kill me.”

This chapter was better than I could have hoped in some ways, and a little disappointing in others.
I am upset about the whole 'slowly dying' thing, but honestly I'll take it over him dying in this chapter. Touya shouldn't have survived a long time ago anyway, so I'm not buying that he's actually going to die anytime soon now. (They didn't even touch on the whole ice quirk thing.)
We finally know his favorite food (the fact that it's the same as Shoto's is killing me), and I'm not accepting that Horikoshi will kill him off before he gets to have soba with his family, minus Endeavor.
Also I really appreciate that Horikoshi didn't make Natsuo forgive Enji in any way, and that he's going no contact. Good for him.
I do wish we could have seen the family talk to Touya more, especially Rei. But maybe, hopefully, that's something we might see in the future, like in one of the light novels or something. (Hori, I'm begging, please give me a LoV focused light novel.)
