A Blue man and a Ghost meet in a churchâŚ
((Just an idea as Iâm having brainrott))
Danny, with his horrific injuries from being âcaughtâ, somehow escapes to his friends before retreating into his core. His friends take his core into the ghost zone, trying to get to Frostbite, but are stopped by (either Fenton parents or GIW agents) flooding into the ghost zone after them.
Tuck and Sam are panicking and so they wrap Dannyâs core into Tuckâs beanie and Samâs jacket before tossing him onto one of the flouting platforms and leading the ghost hunters awayâŚthey didnât expect Danny to be sucked into one of the natural portals along the way downâŚ
Danny wakes up in Germany of all places, alone, with pieces of his best friendâs clothing splayed over him⌠He takes this with surprising grace (not) and deals with his newfound homelessness in a foreign country as well as he can. At least his King status allows him to be a polyglotâŚ
Meanwhile, Kurt Wagner had returned church that had raised him, planing on pay respects (again) to the Priest that had sheltered him. It wasnât the same church, as that one has burned down far long ago, but there had been a new church built in its place. This new church had been abandoned soon after its construction, too many people saying that it was haunted with angry ghosts and feeling too anxious to worship within such a building.
Kurt had thought they had been silly, thinking like that and leaving the building to rot. Through, that was before he, himself, had caught sight of a ghost dwelling inside inside. Wait, no. This was still a living child. A boy sat in one of the pews and stared at him with wary curiosity. Through he was so washed out and in such a sorry state thatâŚWell, Kurt believes he could be forgiven for mistaking the boy for the dead.
In the dim morning glow flooding through the stained glass, his eyes reflected and glowed in the shadows. Which wasâŚhuh. Seems Kurt has stumbled upon not just a squatter, but a mutant squatter at that.
#Kurt sees this creepy child chilling in the church and asks âis anyone gonna adopt this child?â and didnât wait for an answer#meanwhile Danny is unsure if this blue guy is a ghost or not..#oh and Danny still has his vivisection wounds underneath his shirt#shits all inflected now and gross#They both bond over being experimented on#at least I think Kurt was experimented on#idk I donât know him all that well#Iâve got a whiff of this strange blue man and I was enchanted immediately#Danny Fenton#kurt wagner#nightcrawler#dp x marvel#dp x X-men#x man#oh and meanwhile Tucker and Sam are having a goddamned panic attack after losing Danny#which is always fun#could this count as a runaway experiment?#yes#Kurt Wagner & Danny Phantom#Nightcrawler & Danny Phantom

i would like to request Cuclops, Beast, Storm, professor X, Magneto, Gmabit with a child reader who was made from theyâre dna with another person and they dound them in a lab and is now theyâre child they have to look after
X-Men x Child!Reader
You are their DNA child
The X-Men each find a child created from their DNA in a lab, taking on the role of protective and nurturing mothers and fathers despite their own struggles. As they guide their children through mastering inherited powers and dealing with past trauma, they provide unconditional love and support, forming deep familial bonds.
Characters: Scott Summers, Hank McCoy, Ororo Munroe, Charles Xavier, Erik Lehnsherr, Remy LeBeau (+ my personal addition: Logan Howlett, Jean Grey, Kurt Wagner, Wanda Maximoff, Rogue & Laura Kinney)
I didn't think I'd enjoy writing about Child!Readers so much, so thank you for this prompt ⥠Hope you like it â Love, Marie, your friendly marvel fangirl
Scott Summers (Cyclops)
- It had been a routine mission, or at least thatâs what Scott Summers thought. The X-Men had received a lead on a suspicious lab experimenting with mutant DNA, and Scott, as ever the disciplined leader, had led the charge. But nothing could have prepared him for what he found when they stormed the facility. Among the vials and tanks, amidst rows of sterile equipment, there was a childâyou. Your wide eyes stared up at him through the glass container, fear and confusion swirling in them. It wasnât until later, after the chaos settled, that Scott learned the horrifying truth: you were made from his DNA and that of another mutant. You were his daughter, created in some twisted experiment.
- Bringing you back to the mansion felt surreal. Scott, who had always struggled with family ties, now had a child to care for. He had never been one to show his emotions easily, but seeing you, so small and vulnerable, brought out something deep inside him. The first night you stayed in the mansion, you were scared, clinging to the unfamiliar surroundings. Scott sat beside your bed, his usually stoic face softened as he held your hand, unsure of what to say. âYouâre safe now,â he said, his voice quiet but firm, his thumb gently brushing the back of your hand. âI promise.â
- The days that followed were full of awkward moments for Scott. He wasnât used to being a father, let alone to a child created from his DNA in such a traumatic way. But as the weeks passed, he found himself growing more protective of you. He took it upon himself to teach you, both in combat and in life. Whether it was teaching you how to control your powers or helping you with homework, Scott was there, even if he fumbled through it. You were a reflection of him in so many waysâhis discipline, his strengthâbut there was also a sweetness in you, a gentleness that Scott often struggled to express himself.
- One day, you were practicing with your optic blasts, and the frustration was clear on your face when you couldnât get it quite right. âIâll never be as good as you, Dad,â you said, your small fists clenched. Scott knelt down beside you, placing a hand on your shoulder. âYou donât have to be like me,â he said softly, âYou just have to be you. And thatâs more than enough.â His words carried a weight that neither of you fully understood at the time, but it was a turning point in your relationship. Scott wasnât just your teacherâhe was your father.
- Over time, Scott found that you brought out a side of him he hadnât known existed. You gave him a reason to smile more, to laugh. It was in the small moments, like when you surprised him with a drawing of the two of you or when youâd curl up beside him on the couch after a long day. He wasnât perfect, and there were moments when the weight of being a leader and a father seemed too much, but Scott never gave up on you. He had promised to keep you safe, and for Scott Summers, promises were everything.
Hank McCoy (Beast)
- Hank McCoy had always believed in science, in logic, and in facts. But nothing could have prepared him for the moment he found you in that cold, sterile lab. Among the syringes and data logs, there you wereâa child created from his DNA and that of another person, a genetic experiment. At first, Hank didnât believe it. Heâd read about cloning and hybrid experiments, but seeing you, your little hands curled around a small teddy bear, he felt something crack in his usually logical mind. How could someone use his DNA for this? More importantly, how could he ever be a father?
- Bringing you home was no easy task. Hankâs lab, usually a place of quiet research and order, was suddenly filled with the chaos of a child. You asked endless questions, your curiosity insatiable, much like his own. âWhat does this machine do?â youâd ask, pointing at some complex piece of equipment, and Hank would patiently explain, even if your attention wandered halfway through. Despite the overwhelming change, Hank quickly realized how much you were like himâsharp, eager to learn, and always thinking two steps ahead. It wasnât long before he found himself smiling every time youâd light up with excitement over a new discovery.
- But being a father didnât come naturally to Hank. He was used to solving problems with science, but you were a whole different kind of puzzle. There were nights when you had nightmares, crying out for help, and Hank would rush to your side, his large, furry hands gently wiping away your tears. âIâm here,â heâd say, his deep voice soft and calming. Heâd sit with you, reading one of your favorite science books until you fell asleep again, your tiny hand clutching his fur for comfort.
- One day, while you were sitting on the floor of his lab, drawing pictures of the two of you, you looked up at him with wide eyes. âDad,â you said, hesitating for a moment. The word felt strange on your tongue, but when Hank smiled, it didnât feel strange anymore. âYes?â he replied, his eyes twinkling behind his glasses. âDo you think Iâll ever be as smart as you?â Your question was so earnest, so full of hope. Hank knelt down beside you, placing a gentle hand on your shoulder. âYouâre already brilliant,â he said, pride clear in his voice. âAnd youâll only get smarter.â
- Hankâs life, once so full of equations and experiments, was now full of laughter, of you running through the mansion, leaving a trail of questions in your wake. You were a constant reminder that science wasnât everythingâthat there were things like love and family that couldnât be calculated or put under a microscope. And though Hank didnât always have the answers when it came to being a father, he knew one thing for sure: you had changed his life for the better, and he wouldnât trade that for all the knowledge in the world.
Ororo Munroe (Storm)
- Ororo Munroe, known as Storm, had always been a force of natureâboth literally and figuratively. She controlled the weather with ease, a goddess in her own right. But when she found you in that hidden lab, a child made from her DNA and anotherâs, it was as if the wind had been knocked out of her. You were so small, so fragile, lying in a stasis pod with machines hooked up to monitor your vitals. Ororo felt a deep rage for the people who had done this, but as soon as you opened your eyes and looked up at her, that rage melted into something elseâsomething softer.
- Taking you back to the mansion was a whirlwind, not just for you, but for Ororo as well. She was used to guiding young mutants, but being a mother? That was a different kind of responsibility. You, however, adapted quickly, attaching yourself to her like a shadow. You loved when sheâd create tiny storms for you to watchâlittle gusts of wind that made your hair fly around, or small rain showers that youâd dance under. And despite Ororoâs usual grace and poise, you quickly learned that she was a soft touch when it came to you.
- There were moments when Ororo was unsure of herself, wondering if she could live up to the role of being your mother. One night, as thunder rumbled outside, you crept into her room, scared of the storm. Ororo, who could control even the wildest weather, pulled you close, letting you snuggle under the blankets with her. âYouâre not scared of storms, are you?â you whispered, your voice trembling. Ororo smiled gently, her fingers brushing through your hair. âNo, little one. Iâm not.â She paused, pulling you closer. âAnd you donât have to be afraid either. I will always protect you.â
- As the days turned into weeks, you became her world. She taught you everything she knew about the balance of nature and how to respect the power you might one day hold. But there were also simpler momentsâOroro teaching you how to braid your hair, laughing with you as you tried to copy her intricate designs. The X-Men often commented on how much you resembled Ororo, not just in looks but in the calm, confident way you carried yourself, even as a child. You were her legacy, and Ororo couldnât have been more proud.
- One afternoon, after a day of training, you sat beside her in the garden, watching the flowers sway gently in the breeze sheâd conjured for you. âMom,â you said quietly, the word feeling more natural every time you used it, âDo you think Iâll ever be able to do what you do? Control the weather?â Ororo looked down at you, her smile warm and full of love. âYou already have a power all your own, my dear,â she said, placing a hand on your cheek. âAnd one day, youâll learn to control it, just as I did.â You nodded, feeling a sense of calm wash over you. With Ororo by your side, you knew you could handle anything.
Charles Xavier (Professor X)
- When Charles Xavier found you in that hidden lab, it felt as though time had stopped. He had read the reports of genetic experiments being conducted on mutants, but he had never expected to find youâa child made from his DNA and anotherâs. The scientists who had created you intended for you to be the perfect telepath, a child who could rival even Charles in mental power. As you stared up at him, your eyes wide with confusion, Charles couldnât help but feel a deep connection to you. You were not just an experimentâyou were his child. And though the circumstances were unnatural, he felt an overwhelming sense of responsibility for you.
- Bringing you back to the mansion, Charles knew that your upbringing would be difficult. Not because of your powers, which were still developing, but because you had been created in a sterile, loveless environment. You had never known the warmth of a family. He could feel your fear and uncertainty through your young mind as you clung to him. âI know this is all new for you,â Charles said softly one evening, his voice calm and reassuring. âBut you are safe here. Youâll never have to be alone again.â His words werenât just for comfortâthey were a promise.
- Your powers began manifesting early on, sometimes in ways that startled even Charles. One day, during a lesson, you accidentally tapped into his mind without meaning to, and for a moment, you saw the depth of his thoughts, his past, and his pain. Frightened by what you had seen, you pulled back and cried, âI didnât mean to!â Charles knelt before you, his eyes gentle. âItâs alright,â he said, his voice soothing. âYour powers are a part of you, just as mine are a part of me. Weâll learn to control them together.â And thatâs what he didâpatiently guiding you, helping you understand the vast capabilities of your mind.
- Despite his often serious demeanor, Charles loved spending time with you. He took you on walks around the mansion grounds, explaining the history of the X-Men, the importance of protecting both mutants and humans. But it wasnât all lectures. Sometimes, heâd create small mental games for the two of you, making puzzles that you could solve together with your telepathy. He found himself enjoying the simple joy of watching you grow, both as a mutant and as his child. You werenât just a student to himâyou were family.
- One night, after a particularly long day of training, you crawled into his lap as he sat in his wheelchair, your small arms wrapping around him. âDad,â you said quietly, âDo you think Iâll be strong enough one day? Like you?â Charles smiled softly, placing a gentle hand on your back. âYouâre already strong,â he whispered, âIn ways you donât even realize yet.â His words comforted you, and as you drifted off to sleep in his arms, Charles knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, you would never have to face them alone.
Erik Lehnsherr (Magneto)
- Erik Lehnsherr had seen many horrors in his life, but finding you in that labâhis child, created from his DNA and that of anotherâawakened a new kind of rage within him. The people who had done this saw you as nothing more than an experiment, a tool for control, and that disgusted him. When he found you, weak and scared in your containment cell, his heart broke in a way he hadnât expected. You were small, innocent, and unaware of the forces that had brought you into the world. But as soon as he saw you, he knew one thing for certain: you were his, and he would protect you at all costs.
- Erik had never considered himself a nurturing figure, but the moment you reached for him, your tiny hand clutching the sleeve of his coat, something inside him softened. âYouâre safe now,â he promised, his voice low but steady. He could see the confusion in your eyes, the fear of the unknown, but Erik was determined to make sure you never felt that way again. He took you back to his sanctuary, away from the prying eyes of the world, where he could keep you close, keep you safe.
- As the days turned into weeks, Erik began teaching you about your powers. Like him, you had control over magnetism, though your abilities were still weak and unfocused. He showed you how to manipulate small objects, how to feel the pull of metal in the air. You were eager to learn, your wide eyes always looking to him for approval. And though Erik was a strict teacher, there was a tenderness to the way he spoke to you, a gentleness that he reserved only for you. âYou are strong,â he would tell you, his hands guiding yours as you lifted a metal ball with your mind. âStronger than you know.â
- Erik wasnât always the easiest man to be aroundâhis anger often got the best of him, especially when it came to protecting you. He was fiercely protective, and the idea of anyone harming you sent him into a rage. But with you, he was different. You had a way of calming him, of bringing out a side of him that he had long buried. One night, after a particularly hard day of training, you climbed into his lap and rested your head on his chest. Erik froze for a moment, unaccustomed to such displays of affection, but then he relaxed, his arms wrapping around you protectively. âYouâre my child,â he whispered, his voice barely audible, âAnd Iâll always protect you.â
- The bond between you and Erik grew stronger every day. He wasnât perfectâhis anger and need for control sometimes made things difficultâbut you never doubted his love for you. He taught you to be strong, to stand tall, and to never let anyone make you feel small. And though Erik was often seen as a villain by the world, to you, he was a fatherâa man who loved you fiercely and would do anything to keep you safe.
Remy LeBeau (Gambit)
- When Remy LeBeau found you in that lab, it felt like a punch to the gut. You were a childâhis childâcreated from his DNA and that of another person. Remy wasnât the kind of man to be easily shaken, but the sight of you, so small and scared in that cold, sterile room, hit him harder than anything else ever had. You looked up at him with wide, uncertain eyes, and in that moment, something inside him changed. He had never expected to be a father, especially not like this, but as he reached out to you, offering you his hand, he knew he couldnât walk away.
- Remy brought you back to the mansion, unsure of how to be a father but determined to figure it out. From the moment you arrived, you clung to him, and despite his usual carefree attitude, Remy felt a deep sense of responsibility for you. Heâd always been a bit of a rogue, someone who played by his own rules, but when it came to you, everything was different. He found himself caring in ways he never thought possible. You were his petite, and he would do anything to make sure you were happy and safe.
- Life with Remy was never boring. He taught you how to play cards, how to move silently through a room without being noticed, and even a few harmless tricks to keep life fun. But it wasnât all fun and gamesâRemy also took his role as your father seriously, even if he didnât always show it in the traditional way. He was patient with you, always ready with a smile or a joke when things got tough. âDonât worry, mon chĂŠri,â heâd say when you struggled with your powers. âWeâll figure it out together, eh? Jusâ gotta take it one step at a time.â
- One evening, after a long day of training with your powers, you sat beside him on the porch, watching the sun set. You had been quiet all day, and Remy could tell something was on your mind. âWhatâs on ya mind, petite?â he asked, his voice soft and full of concern. You looked up at him, hesitating for a moment before asking, âDo you think Iâll ever be as good as you, Dad?â Remy chuckled softly, ruffling your hair. âCher, you already better than me,â he said with a grin. âYou just donât know it yet.â
- Remy wasnât perfectâhe made mistakes, and sometimes his past caught up with himâbut when it came to you, he was always there. He taught you not just how to use your powers, but how to navigate life with a sense of humor and a light heart. You were his pride and joy, and though he didnât always say it, you knew he loved you more than anything. Remy LeBeau, the infamous Gambit, was a man of many faces, but to you, he was just Dadâthe man who made you laugh, who taught you to be strong, and who loved you more than anyone ever could.
Logan Howlett (Wolverine)
- When Logan first found you in that lab, he wasnât sure what to think. You were a kidâhis kid, created from his DNA and that of another person. Logan had been through more than his fair share of experiments, but this one felt personal in a way that cut deeper than any blade ever had. The moment he saw you, small and confused in the sterile environment of the lab, something inside him clicked. He was a lone wolf by nature, but now? Now, he wasnât alone. He had you.
- Taking you out of that lab and bringing you back to the mansion was one of the hardest things Logan had ever done. Not because you were difficult, but because the situation felt so foreign to him. He didnât know how to be a father, not after everything heâd been through. But when you grabbed onto his hand, refusing to let go, he realized that maybe, just maybe, this was something he neededâsomething you both needed. âYouâll be alright, kid,â he muttered, his voice gruff but comforting. âIâm not goinâ anywhere.â
- Life with Logan was rough around the edges, but there was a certain comfort in it. He was protective, always keeping an eye on you, making sure you were safe. Your powers, inherited from him, were slow to develop, but he was patient, teaching you the best way he knew how. When your claws first emerged, you were scaredâterrified of what they meant, of what you might become. But Logan just knelt beside you, showing you his own claws. âAinât nothinâ to be afraid of,â he said quietly. âWe got the same blood. Weâll figure it out together.â
- Despite his gruff demeanor, Logan had a soft spot for you. He wasnât the type to show affection openly, but there were little moments that made you feel safe and loved. Sometimes, heâd ruffle your hair or take you on quiet walks in the woods surrounding the mansion, sharing stories from his long, complicated past. And though he didnât say it often, you knew he cared. âYouâre tougher than you think, kid,â heâd say after a particularly hard day of training. âDonât let anyone tell ya different.â
- One night, after a long day of training and dealing with the chaos of the X-Menâs missions, you sat beside Logan on the porch, watching the stars. You leaned into him, and to your surprise, he didnât pull away. Instead, he put a strong arm around you, his usual gruff expression softening for just a moment. âAinât easy, beinâ like us,â he said quietly. âBut youâre doinâ good, kid. Real good.â His words, simple as they were, meant everything to you. Logan wasnât just your protectorâhe was your father, the one who would always be there, no matter what.
Jean Grey (Phoenix)
- When Jean Grey found you in that lab, it felt as if her heart had stopped. You were small, frail, and afraidâher child, created from her DNA and someone elseâs. Jean had always known the world could be cruel, but seeing you, a child born from her, used in an experiment, broke her heart in ways she hadnât expected. As you looked up at her, your wide, uncertain eyes searching for answers, Jean knew she had to protect you, to show you that you were more than just a projectâyou were her daughter, and you would never have to face the world alone.
- Bringing you to the X-Mansion, Jean took it upon herself to make sure you felt safe and loved. She was nurturing by nature, but being a mother, especially under such strange circumstances, was new to her. You had been raised in a lab, never knowing the warmth of a family, and Jean could sense the confusion and fear in your mind. âItâs okay,â she would often tell you, her voice soft and full of love. âIâm here now. You donât have to be afraid anymore.â
- Your powers began to manifest slowly, but Jean was there every step of the way. Like her, you had telepathic abilities, but they were unpredictable, sometimes overwhelming. Jean knew what it was like to be afraid of your own mind, so she guided you patiently, helping you control your powers in a way that didnât scare you. âI know itâs hard,â she would say when you struggled, âbut weâll work through it together. Youâre never alone in this.â
- Jean was the type of mother who balanced discipline with love. She taught you about responsibility, the importance of using your powers for good, but she also made sure you had a childhood filled with warmth and care. She loved reading with you, taking you out to the garden, and spending quiet moments with you when the mansion was still. âYouâre going to do great things,â she would whisper to you before bed. âI can already feel it.â Her belief in you was unwavering, and that gave you the strength to keep going.
- One night, after a particularly overwhelming day with your powers, you burst into tears, afraid of the thoughts and emotions that were swirling in your head. Jean held you close, her arms wrapped around you in a protective embrace. âItâs okay, sweetheart,â she said, her voice gentle and soothing. âYouâre stronger than you know. And no matter what happens, Iâll always be here for you.â Her words calmed you, and as you drifted off to sleep in her arms, you knew that with Jean as your mother, you would always be loved and protected.
Kurt Wagner (Nightcrawler)
- Kurt Wagnerâs heart broke the moment he found you in that cold, dark lab. You were a childâhis child, created from his DNA and someone elseâs. The scientists had clearly been experimenting on you, trying to replicate Kurtâs teleportation abilities, and the thought made him sick to his stomach. You were frightened, huddled in the corner of the cell, but when you looked up and saw Kurt, something changed. Despite your fear, you recognized himâyour fatherâand in that moment, Kurt knew he had to get you out of there. He teleported into the cell and scooped you into his arms, holding you close as he whispered, âYouâre safe now, mein kind. Iâm going to take care of you.â
- Life with Kurt was full of warmth and love, despite the strangeness of your origins. He was a kind, gentle soul, and he made sure you always felt safe and loved in your new home at the mansion. You had been raised in a lab, and the world outside was new and overwhelming to you, but Kurt was always there to guide you through it. âThe world can be a little scary sometimes,â he would say, his voice soft and full of love, âbut you donât have to face it alone. Weâll figure it out together, ja?â
- Your powers began to manifest early on, much like Kurtâs. You could teleport, though it was unpredictable, and it scared you at first. But Kurt was patient with you, teaching you how to control your abilities with care and precision. âItâs like a dance,â he would tell you with a smile. âYou just have to find your rhythm.â He made it fun, turning your training sessions into games, and soon enough, you were teleporting with ease, your laughter filling the air as you disappeared and reappeared around the mansion.
- Kurt was the kind of father who filled your life with joy and laughter. He loved taking you on little adventures, teleporting you to different places around the mansion, or even to quiet spots in the nearby forest where the two of you could sit and talk. He would tell you stories of his own childhood, of his time with the X-Men, and you always felt a deep connection to him. âYouâre a gift,â he would say to you often, his golden eyes full of warmth. âAnd Iâm so proud to be your father.â
- One evening, after a particularly difficult day with your powers, you found yourself frustrated and on the verge of tears. Kurt noticed immediately and teleported to your side, wrapping you in a gentle embrace. âItâs okay, mein kind,â he said softly, his tail curling around you protectively. âYou donât have to be perfect. You just have to be you. And thatâs more than enough.â His words were comforting, and as you leaned into his embrace, you realized that no matter what challenges you faced, you would always have Kurt by your side, loving and supporting you every step of the way.
Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch)
- When Wanda found you in that lab, her heart ached in a way she hadnât felt since losing her brother. There you were, small and fragile, created from her DNA and that of someone elseâs, a product of twisted science. The fact that they had used her powers, her very essence, to bring you into existence shook her to the core. But as she reached out, sensing your fear and confusion, Wandaâs maternal instincts kicked in. She saw herself in you, vulnerable and lost. âYouâre coming with me,â she whispered, her voice soft yet firm. And with a wave of her hand, she made sure the lab was nothing but a distant memory for the both of you.
- Adjusting to life outside of the lab wasnât easy for you. Wanda knew that better than anyoneâshe had struggled with control over her powers too. But she was patient with you, teaching you how to harness your abilities in a way that didnât overwhelm you. You inherited a portion of her reality-altering powers, though on a much smaller scale. Still, they frightened you at times, and Wanda was always there, offering a calm, understanding presence. âItâs okay to be scared,â she would say gently, holding your hand. âBut youâre not alone. Iâll help you control it.â
- Wanda took a different approach to parenting than most, understanding that you had been through so much already. She was nurturing and protective, but she also gave you space to find yourself. Some days, the two of you would sit together in the living room, working on spells and abilities in a way that felt more like a bonding experience than training. âYouâre stronger than you think,â sheâd tell you, her eyes glowing softly with pride. âAnd Iâll always be here to guide you.â
- Despite the intensity of her own life, Wanda made sure you had moments of normalcy. Sheâd take you out for walks, playfully manipulate reality to make flowers bloom in winter, or make the stars shine brighter just for you. There were quiet evenings where the two of you would sit outside, watching the moon, and sheâd tell you stories of her own childhood, of Sokovia, and of her brother Pietro. âFamily is everything,â sheâd say, a soft sadness in her voice. âAnd you, my dear, are my family.â
- One night, after a particularly hard day, you broke down in front of Wanda, frustrated with your powers and the fear of becoming something you didnât understand. Wanda knelt down in front of you, wiping your tears away with a gentle touch. âYou are not your powers,â she said softly, her voice steady but full of emotion. âYou are so much more. And no matter what happens, Iâll always be by your side. Youâre my child, and I love you.â The warmth in her words, the unconditional love, wrapped around you like a shield, and for the first time in a long time, you felt safe.
Rogue (Anna-Marie)
- Rogue had been through enough in her life to know that no one asked for the cards they were dealt. But when she found you in that lab, hooked up to machines, created from her DNA and anotherâs, it shook her to the core. The guilt hit her hardâsomeone had taken her powers, her life force, and used them to create you. As she gently pulled you out of that cold, sterile environment, she looked down at your young face, full of fear and uncertainty, and felt a fierce protective instinct rise within her. âCâmon, sugar,â she said softly, brushing your hair out of your face. âAinât nobody gonna hurt ya now.â
- Rogue wasnât sure how to be a mother, especially considering her powers, but she was determined to make it work. She had never been able to touch people without fear, but with you, it was different. The scientists had altered something in your genetic makeup, allowing you to be immune to her powers, meaning she could hold you, comfort you, without the fear of harming you. And for the first time in a long time, Rogue felt like she could give someone the care and affection sheâd always longed to give. âAinât that somethinâ,â sheâd say with a smile as she hugged you, grateful for the chance to finally feel human connection.
- You had inherited a version of Rogueâs powers, but they were different, more unstable. You couldnât quite control when or how you absorbed someoneâs abilities, and that scared you. But Rogue was patient, guiding you through your struggles with a warmth and understanding that only she could provide. âItâs okay, baby,â sheâd say whenever you felt like you were losing control. âWeâll figure it out together. I know what itâs like to feel scared of your own skin, but I promise, youâre gonna be just fine.â
- Rogue was fiercely protective of you, always making sure you felt safe and loved. Sheâd take you out on long rides on her motorcycle, teaching you the thrill of the open road while also making sure you knew that no matter what, you had someone in your corner. She shared stories of her own life, her struggles with her powers, and how she found a family in the X-Men. âWeâre family now,â sheâd say, her Southern drawl comforting and familiar. âAnd family sticks together, no matter what.â
- One day, after a particularly rough incident where you accidentally absorbed another mutantâs abilities, you were left feeling scared and ashamed. Rogue found you curled up in your room, and she sat down beside you, pulling you into her arms. âListen here, sugar,â she said softly, her voice full of warmth. âAinât nothinâ wrong with you. We all got our struggles, but youâre strong. Stronger than you know. And no matter what happens, Iâm here for you. Always.â Her words, her unwavering support, made you feel like maybe, just maybe, everything would be okay.
Laura Kinney (X-23/Wolverine)
- Laura wasnât one for showing emotion, but when she found you in that lab, something shifted inside her. You were a product of the same twisted science that had created her, only this time, they had used her DNA along with someone elseâs to make you. Seeing you, so small and fragile, hooked up to those machines, brought back memories she had tried to bury. But you were differentâyou were hers. Without a second thought, she destroyed the lab and took you into her arms, her voice soft but firm as she whispered, âYouâre coming with me.â
- Life with Laura wasnât easy, but she was determined to be the mother you deserved. She wasnât used to caring for someone else, especially not a child, but she knew what it was like to grow up alone, to feel abandoned, and she refused to let that happen to you. She didnât talk much, but her actions spoke louder than words. She made sure you were safe, protected, and had everything you needed. And when you were scared, sheâd sit with you in silence, her presence alone enough to make you feel secure. âIâm here,â sheâd say quietly, her hand resting on your shoulder. âI wonât let anyone hurt you.â
- Like Laura, you had inherited claws, but yours were differentâmore unpredictable. Sometimes they would come out when you didnât want them to, and other times you struggled to control your healing factor. Laura knew what that was like, and she was patient, teaching you how to manage your powers with a quiet strength that you came to rely on. âItâs not about control,â sheâd say as she watched you practice. âItâs about understanding who you are. Youâre not a weapon. Youâre my child.â
- Despite her stoic nature, Laura was protective in a way that only a mother could be. Sheâd watch over you constantly, making sure you were never in danger. She didnât express her love through words, but through actionsâtaking you hunting in the woods, teaching you survival skills, and making sure you knew how to defend yourself. âIâm not always going to be here,â sheâd say, her voice low and serious. âBut youâre strong. You can handle anything.â
- One night, after a particularly hard day of training, you broke down, frustrated with your abilities and feeling like you were more of a burden than anything else. Laura sat down beside you, silent at first, before she spoke quietly, her voice filled with an emotion she rarely showed. âYouâre not a burden,â she said, her eyes fixed on the horizon. âYouâre my child. And Iâm proud of you. No matter what happens, Iâll always be here for you.â Her words, though simple, carried a weight that made you feel loved and understood in a way you hadnât before. With Laura as your mother, you knew you were never truly alone.

What kind of desert do you think Kurt would like? Is there any German deserts in particular he would like?
This is an interesting questions, thank you. So...
We don't really know a lot of what he likes in canon, however I seem to remember to have read that he is fond of chocolate and biscuits, which means I'm going from there.
I'd like to think, that Kurt is something we call a "Naschkatze" where I'm from. Don't know if it's used in other parts as well, but it's quite common from where I'm from. It's basically someone who loves to nibble on sweets as often as they can. Literally translate to "snacking cat" or "nibbeling cat"
He's got a sweet tooth, you could say. So, going from there:
He loves pastry. Doesn't matter if it's cake or cookies or cupakes, he loves it. If it got chocolate? He's in heaven. So, it's good that he's from Germany because we've got some really good cakes, if I may say so:
Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte: This is one of the most stereotypical cakes that you can find when looking up "German Cakes" but it's really good. It traditionally consists of several layers of chocolate sponge cake, cherries, cherry liqueur, whipped cream and chocolate rasps. It named after the "Schwarzwald" which is a region in Baden-Wßttenberg, the "neighbour" of Bavaria. It's really tasty and I'd like to think that he would love that.
Baumkuchen: Literellay means "tree cake", originating from it's looks. It consists of several layers of dough when baking it, making it look like the age rings of a tree. It's art to explain, but it's really good, one of my favourites actually.
Kalter Hund: Literally "Cold dog", also referred to as "Kalte Schnauze" or "Kalter Platt". I think this would be one of his all-time favourites because it not only consists of chocolate but also of biscuits. It is made from layers of chocolate cookies and a cream of chocolate and coconut oil. There are different variations of it, which can differ in the ingredients used. It's a little harder to make, at least in my experience, but it's really worth it.
Pudding: Kurt is in love with this stuff, especially chocolate, however only when it's hommade. The incredibly overly sweet stuff from the stores does not taste good in his opinion, so he refuses to eat it. He may have a sweet tooth but not that sweet.
Spekulatius: Another typical german sweet, that's an alltime favourite among Germans. It's usually just sold during Christmas time, due to the different spices that are used for it.
Mousse au Chocolat: Of course he's not restricted to German desserts only. It's a french dessert and since France is a neighbour of Germany it's not that far-feched that he loved it growing up. It's fluffy, it's chocolate... What more could he ask for?
GrieĂbrei mit Roter GrĂźtze: "Semolina porridge with red fruit jelly" It's not really a dessert but it's quite famous and I personally know many many Germans who love it, me included.
GermknĂśdel mit VanillesoĂe: GermknĂśdel are a traditional specialty of Austrian and Bavarian cuisine and are also popular in other regions of the Alpine countries. They are steamed yeast dumplings filled with a plum jam filling (ZwetschgenrĂśster). Although the classic version is filled with plum jam, there are also variations of yeast dumplings with other fillings such as poppy seeds, apricots or curd cheese. Personally, I have always loved the fruit filling. Top it with vanilla sauce and poppy seed sugar and it's perfect.
Pictures in order
It's a bit much, but there are so many good desserts. In general I think he loves anything with chocolate in it, as long as it's real chocolate and not some fake stuff from the industries. He prefers usually darker chocolate but especially in cake she doesn't mind so much. He also likes a bit more heavy desserts such as GermknĂśdel or GrieĂbrei, especially since he's from Bavaria where such desserts are more common, from my experience. You are welcome to correct me though.
Hope this was helpful :)

Post-canon oneshot; gen; a family discussion which does not end with any assassinations, which is potentially a new record
Tarvek dropped the pile of papers on top of Martellusâ desk, picking up the ink pot in the same gesture to avoid it spilling.
Martellusâs quill (because of course the man still used an actual feather quill; he was too theatrical to be practical and Tarvek couldnât even mock him for it because Martellus absolutely knew about Tarvekâs own collection) paused in midair where he had been in the middle of working. âGood morning, cousin.â
âGood morning.â
âAnd whatâs this?â Martellus took his ink pot back to rest his quill in it.
âYou tell me.â
Martellus picked up the first page, flipped through the second, and then rolled his eyes. âDonât be so suspicious.â
âI donât know whether Iâm more offended you thought a fake wall with such an obvious trigger was enough to keep it hidden, or that your newest plan to assassinate me involved framing Cousin Elias.â
âThat shelf isnât where I keep any actual secrets; itâs just meant to be a convenient place to keep things in reach.â
âRight, the real secret desk is attached to the third storeroom on the second level, with the switch at the eighth brick to the left.â Tarvek waved his hand dismissively, and was pleased to note the flicker of annoyance in Martellusâ face. Good. âThatâs not my point. Elias is an idiot.â
âWhich is why he makes an excellent scapegoat.â
âHardly a believable one.â
âItâs not like I would want to sacrifice Uncle Kurt to the Heterodyneâs vengeance.â Martellus rolled his eyes and started rearranging his papers back into order. âIâm not currently planning to have you assassinated.â
Tarvek raised an eyebrow and gestured at the papers.
The thing was, Tarvek had willingly walked into the Refuge of Storms. He and Martellus needed to make some normal, ordinary negotiations about the current treaties, and Tarvek had agreed to go visit. Martellus hadnât actually tried anything in the year since they broke the time stop over Mechanicsburg, and although there had been the usual stream of assassins Tarvek was reasonably sure none had been from this specific cousin. They were almost getting along.
Well, the wine at dinner last night had been drugged, but to be fair Tarvek had also mixed his own poison into Martellusâs slice of an actually delightful cake. It would have been almost ruder not to have at least one poisoning. Neither had been a serious attempt.
Martellus sighed. âIâm concerned that you might have an actual accident one day.â
âWere you thinking an experiment gone wrong or perhaps a slip and fall down the stairs?â
âEither. Any. Iâm not being euphemistic; I mean accident.â
Tarvek frowned. âWhat?â
âThey happen sometimes.â Martellus spread his hands in exasperation. âHave you ever actually looked into Aunt Cathrinâs death?â
âWhy bother? That was clearly Nataliaâs ââ Tarvek trailed off as he realised what Martellus was implying. âYou canât be serious.â
âI am.â
âYou think her carriage genuinely justââ
âIt has been known to happen.â
âBut Nataliaââ
âGenuinely mourned her.â
âYou can mourn someone and still have them killed!â Tarvek protested. âShe had the most to gain!â
âFirstly, the fact that someone else gained more doesnt mean that the person with the second-most to gain couldnât have done it,â Martellus said, infuriatingly condescending. âOr third, or just a petty grudge.â
âThat Iâll concede, butââ
âAnd secondly, sometimes the carriage wheels are genuinely made badly, and a driver just happens to hit a pot hole at an unfortunate angle.â
It was indeed possible, but Tarvek was having trouble â although, Natalia had seemed genuinely distraught, and he remembered thinking at the time that heâd never considered her a good actress. Maybe he should send her a box of chocolates or something.
âBut thank you for demonstrating my point so clearly.â Martellus tapped at the paper. âIn our family honest accidents, as rare as they are, are not actually believed.â
âSo you decided to frame my hypothetical, accidental death on Elias in order toââ Tarvek left the question open.
âIâm concerned that if you were to fall down the steps tomorrow, the Lady Heterodyne would methodically go through the family, one by one, removing organs and testing creative death rays, until she found someone she believed the culprit. And, unfortunately, I would be the top of the list.â
âDonât be silly, cousin. Itâs Wulfenbach who keeps torturers on his payroll, and unlike Agatha, his rooms remain in perfect working order,â Tarvek said, as if Agathaâs dungeons were not kept well prepared at all times. It wasnât like she wanted it.
Martellus shook his head. âIâm sure between the two of them they would very successfully wipe out the entire Valois line.â
âUnlikely. Agatha likes Violetta.â
Martellus wrinkled his nose, probably irritated at the image of Violetta as the last surviving heir of the Storm King. Violetta would probably stab him for that, as if she also wouldnât be horrified at the idea. Tarvek had once offered to help her figure out where she was in the line of inheritance, and she punched him enough times heâd burnt the calculations heâd already finished. Somewhere in the seven hundreds, although he hadnât added the new children born since then.
The whole concept was amusing, but unrealistic. Despite everything Martellus had been around for, heâd never actually gotten to know Agatha â or maybe he understood she believed in justice, but Martellus himself didnât fully understand what justice meant. If Tarvek died tomorrow, Agatha and Gil probably would go on a rampage to find who did it, but they wouldnât kill anyone without proof.
He could explain that to Martellus, but Martellus having a vested interest in Tarvek staying alive was so much more useful.
âDonât frame Elias. Aunt Henriette is a far more realistic choice.â
âAunt Henriette has the subtlety of a rampaging construct with rayguns for arms; how is that more realistic?â
âOr, currently, the Countess of Mount Peuckert.â
âYou canât use this as an excuse to have your enemies dealt with post-mortem.â
âWhy not? By definition my current enemies are the most likely to have me assassinated.â Tarvek smiled, mostly because he knew it would annoy Martellus, and turned to leave. âAnd I already sent a message to Agatha that you were planning to assassinate me and frame Cousin Elias, so I doubt heâs that believable anymore.â
âWhat?â Martellus stood up abruptly, barely catching his ink pot before it fell.
Tarvek plucked the quill from the desk for absolutely no reason other than Martellus couldnât stop him. âIâll go send her an update, shall I?â
âYes. Now. Do that.â
Tarvek raised an eyebrow.
Martellus scowled. âPlease.â
âSince you asked nicely.â
Martellus waited for Tarvek to leave the room before slamming his head against the back wall.
Tarvek, paused outside the door as was his usual habit, had to bite back the urge to laugh.
He really did need to write that letter. The Refuge of Storms was close to Mechanicsburg, and it would take no time at all for a horde of Jägermonsters to arrive. Tempting as it was to let them get close enough for Martellus to see, that seemed more likely to terrify the castle staff.  Not to mention it would waste Agathaâs time.
Although it was nice to consider that next time Martellus started testing the boundaries or generally being obnoxious, Tarvek merely needed to fake his own death. Heâd tell Agatha and Gil first, of course, theyâd never forgive him if he didnât, but they would love the chance to act the avenger. Martellus would realise it soon enough, but the lie didnât need to last to give Martellus nightmares. If Tarvek planned it well enough, he could probably get one of his spies in the same room when Martellus heard the rumour to get a picture. Maybe come up with some excuse for it to be Violetta, she deserved it. Though she might prefer to stay with Agatha so she could help with the potential threatening. Tarvek could workshop it later.

â Have you ever felt like Atlas, threw your back out on the axis... â
â â Third person
A dream interpreter, that's what you were, basically, your mutation consisted of controlling, entering and experiencing other people dreams, you discovered when you accidentally transformed your neighbor's kid dream in a nightmare while babysitting them, silly you.
And that happened until you realized that you were the problem. You also could do that with your own dreams, well, that was bad because there was one little problem...
You could hurt yourself in your dreams, one day you dreamed you were drowning, just to wake up soaking wet, or like when you dreamed you were bitten by an animal, just to wake up with a bite mark, bleeding, in your arm.
It took a few time to Professor found you, asking you about your experience, it was hell for you, you could control your dreams? Yes. You knew how to do that? No. Did you almost die in these dreams and nightmares? Yes.
He also asked your father about this, talking about how the institute would be an amazing experience, where you would stay with teenagers like you, and help you control your abilities.
Your father was hesitant, his only kid, away from him? After hesitating, he agreed, not before talking about your problems to the Professor, warning him to have patience with you.
" Please just be patience with they... they have these hallucinations, and they can hurt themselves in these dreams, and- "
" There is no need to worry, sir, we will take care of them. They are in good hands. "
Well, technically, you were in good hands, all of them tried to do be your friends and thought your power as rather different (Kurt and Evan asked you to interpret the dumbest dreams ever.)
They were very patience with you, or tried to be, and they were very, very protectives. It could be suffocating, so you tried to not tell them what happened so they wouldn't worry.
Your power had another problems, sometimes, you can hallucinate with things and creatures from your dreams, but the most recent and common ones are from your nightmares. You aren't sure if they are real or your imagination, but how you were the only one that could see them...
And this made you pass for many problems and situations at all, some classmates would have patience with you, some would find you weird, and others would be... downright mean and bullies.
" Come on, freak! Tell me what you're saying! It's another scary clown?, " Ram mocked, arms crossed, looking at you with like a total idiot. He is your main bully, he thought he was so funny, like this 'joke' wasn't made before.
" Yeah, it's a clown, the dumbest one i have ever seen in my entire life. " You responded him bluntly, you already were feed up of him at this point, why couldn't he just leave you alone? He has nothing better than to do? Like, smacking lunch trays? Or be a huge dickâ Oh wait, he already is that.
It took him a while to understand you were talking about him, that he was a clown, that guy was really dumb. His face darkened with pure annoyance at you.
" Well, at least i'm not an insane freak! How did your parents didn't leave you when they had a chance? How do your friends even support your presence? " He scoffs.
" You are so right! But you know? I have to go. " You said, closing your locker, preparing to walk away, he really thinks he is offending you, sure it still hurts, but crying or fighting him wouldn't make this better, it would only make his ego get worse. So you just decided to agree and leave, hoping he wouldn't do anything.
However, you felt him grabbing you by your shoulders, making you look at him again, he was pissed off you were walking away, he grabs you by your jacket and press you in the lockers. Preparing to punch you.
" Who said you could just walk away from me? Your little piece of shit- "
" What's happening here? "
You hear a familiar voice, you and Ram turn your head to see a familiar figure, your hero... or your military general:
Scott Summers.
" Let them go. Before i do something you won't like. " Scott said to Ram, while crossing his arms, if looks could kill, Ram would be dead right now. I mean, you couldn't know because of the glasses, but you felt that he was giving him a death glare to Ram, you just knewn that.
Ram lets you go, not before sending you a " This isn't over. " look, he walks away, leaving you and Scott alone in the hallway.
You turn your head to look at Scott, the good thing is that you're safe from Ram... the bad? Having to listen to Scott giving you a whole speech about how you should ask them help in moments like this. This is the safiest option, actually.
" Who was that? "
" Ram Kelly. "
" Ram Kelly..., " He repeated, you could feel something weird in his tone, something that caused shivers in your spine. " And... he picks on you daily? "
You didn't know how to respond to that question, yes, Ram did that daily, it was part of your routine at this point. But if you tell Scott that, he will realize you are hiding things from him and the other X-mens.
" I will consider your silence as a yes., " He sighs, obviously disappointed with you. " Y/N, we already told you... if someone is messing with you, you need to tell us. " He advised you, he and the others have told you that many times.
" I know, i know! Sorry... i don't want you guys to worry, my problems, my deal. " You responded him, and it was truth, you already worry them enough with your nightmares, creams and bruises in the middle of the night, you don't want to bother them with some stupid school problems.
Before he could say anything to you, the bells rang, you rushed to your class, not wanting to be late, but also not wanting to hear Scott's possible scolding.
" We want to worry... " Scott mumbled to himself, observing you rush away, before going to his own class.
" Ugh! This guy is so disgusting! Now i'm feeling weird because of that... " Rogue complained after touching Ram, making him faint.
" Don't worry, i will be worth it! " Kurt responds her, while Scott looks at Ram's body.
" It is. " Scott said, before taking his glasses off, in direction to Ram's head.

For the One of Us au, the power of visions of past and future that u mentioned could have a lot of potential.
I imagine Reader has little, or maybe no, control over when, where, or what when it comes to their visions. They could get a vision of the end of the world while in algebra on Tuesday and then a vision of their friends' past dates while in the Danger Room on Wednesday.
For the big, important visions, like future attacks or potential threats, they warn the adults and the rest of the team, but for smaller visions, they leave it on a need to know basis because their friends need to learn and make mistakes. Tho reader may nudge them in the right direction.
I'm sorry did I say nudge? I meant SHOVE cause a reader with visions would ABSOLUTELY NO CHILL AT ALL.
Their powers aren't useful at all in combat. Everyone else can do something in a fight. But Reader doesn't, so they make themselves useful in everyday life.
The group knows Reader always has their best interests at heart, but it always throws them for a loop when their normally sweet friend suddenly starts acting really protective and aggressive.
When Duncan starts dating Jean and everyone tries to be polite, except for Scott and Reader. Scott's reasoning is obvious, and his dislike is mostly harmless. Reader? Is about 5 seconds away from biting Duncan and is actively crashing dates. (Reader knows he's a racist bully ass. They know what he'll do.)
There's a solid month where Reader kept crawling into Kurt's bed, snuggling him and following him around. At first, he just thinks they're just being cuddly, then everything about his birth and his mom and the experiments come out. Then, it's like oh, that's why.
Reader gets a vision of Logans past and has to deal with the fact they know more about this man than he does.
They get a vision of Jean getting kidnapped by Fred and decides to NEVER EVER LEAVE HER ALONE EVER. Seriously Jean how does this keep happening to you?!
Reader approaches Rogue first out of everyone cause they know she's Kurt sister and so desperately wants to show her she's not alone.
Ooooooo... I don't known if I'll choose this as the canon power for Reader in đOne Of Usđ§Ą, but let's explore it for a minute, shall we? (If you want to explore the other potential powers and help figure it out, I'm okay with it! I like when anons and hivelings do so! Thank you for this ask, @sugar-soda!)
Reader is such a worried, odd friend. They seem to always know something about you, no matter if they've met you or have ever even heard of you. They sometimes stutter or mumble- other times they're loud and assertive- sometimes they're sweet as pie and cuddly- and sometimes they glare daggers at you like you murdered their goldfish. With Reader, no one ever knows what to expect.
Duncan, the school football star, for example, is given death glares, is given at least three shovel talks (complete with an angry/protective Scott for back-up), he's given notes telling him to break up with Jean or else, he's told to be a better person or he'll regret it, Reader outdoes him in the poetry club (he joined to impress Jean), etc. . The consensus is Reader, the school's go-to life advice person, despises him, and no one knows why... (Then Duncan amd Jean break up, and now everyone knows Reader knew somehow those two wouldn't work together...)
Reader is gentle and open with Rogue, the school goth girl and lone wolf, on the other hand. They hold the door open for her, they ask if she needs a break during group projects or study sessions, they scare creepy students away from her, they offer to walk her home when the Brotherhood teens left her a few days, they even give her space if she asks for it. No one gets it; why bother with someone they don't even know or seem to get along with? Until the next week Rogue is with the Xavier teens, eating lunch and sharing classes and being overall friendly amd cordial, and once again Reader seems to have known it was possible to be friends with her (the school wonders how that was possible...)
Then Reader tries to share food with Todd, who has an odd (really gross) smell and who steals from others, and no one in any clique can figure out what Reader is up to now. They just leave food for the toad-like teen, then go about their day. Todd eats it, enjoys it, and there's always three meals each day waiting by or in his locker, enough for him, and then later, enough for the other boys at the Brotherhood home. The Xavier teens can't figure out why, neither can the school, but Todd knows, and tells everyone to not mess with his friend/buddy, be it the jocks or the bullies or even his group (turns out the Brotherhood don't have a lot of money for meals, so Reader pulls together their cooking skills and leftover ingredients to make them enough food for each day. Todd knows this, and accepts it as a sign of friendship; Xavier in the end ends up sending them money for a food budget so Reader will leave them alone...)
Logan, tough as nails and deadly as a wolverine, is struggling with his nightmares and wakes up at night, not able or willing to fall back asleep, and wanders into the kitchen late at night. Except Reader is also there, and keeps him company, pushing a plate of meat over to their teacher/guardian and saying they couldn't sleep either. It becomes a ritual every Thursday night, the two of them sitting in silence sometimes, or watching some old western movies, sometimes Reader even opens about their past, saying it's okay to not remember certain parts of their trauma, and it's just as okay to one day remember it. If Logan needs a hug, they give it, if he needs quiet, they give it, if he's about to go out, Reader warns him to not chase stray cats or to jump headfirst into the unknown (the teens find it strange, and so does Logan, up until when Logan destroys the remains of the Weapon X labs and connects the dots Reader knows more than he does about his past, yet he's not mad, just worried about what they saw...)
H*ll, Reader even sees the past of Sabretooth during a mission where they fought the Acolytes and end up in a cave-in, and all they can do is stare at him with sad, haunted eyes and apologize for what he lost and what he's had to go through (the Acolytes think it's creepy at first, Magneto is suspicious, and at first Sabretooth is angry- until Reader reveals they know his life was hard, and they don't know the depth of how it feels, but they know what it feels like to be abandoned, and it isn't fair, even to him... and surprisingly he let's Reader walk away unscathed...) (Xavier and Storm and Logan then decide to keep Reader away from the more deadly adult members of the Brotherhood, in case their powers aren't as welcomed the next time...)
(You can bet if Reader says something, after awhile the teens start to listen and try to go down what they think is the right path... Of course, Reader is trying to stay on the path where everyone is happy and okay and alive, which is hard, considering how traumatized everyone else is, and how scared they are to lose the people they view as family... which does include Reader...)

Since the photo of the pope on Stuâs fridge has been discovered Iâve seen a lot of takes about how Stu would definitely have religious guilt and would have more issues with his feelings for Billy. I want to be clear I donât think thereâs anything wrong with that take, itâs definitely something to explore if it interests you but it also flattens the breadth of responses to a religious upbringing and religious trauma. There are so many ways a person might respond to that kind of experience and it doesnât just stop with internalized guilt.
What about the people who just kind of never fall in line? Theyâre punished for it over and over but it doesnât make the religion make sense to them. And maybe they learn over time hide their disbelief, they learn to be quiet at church and hide their same sex partners but the moment theyâre 18 they are gone.
What about the people who believed when they were young and have had an experience to change that? Maybe they saw religion used to justify the mistreatment of a sibling or a friend, and they thought âif there is a god, they wouldnât think this is rightâ.
What about the ones that swing hard in the opposite direction? The ones so angry with the beliefs instilled in them that they do almost anything they can to enrage their religious family? They may not even be doing this intentionally, but teenage rebellion is teenage rebellion, and if your family is catholic then Catholicism might be what you rebel against. What better way to rebel against the anti gay religion than to kiss another boy? Do you know how many queer pagans and Satanists I know who have a history of religious trauma?
Have you ever felt so mistreated by someone or something, so deeply wronged, that almost anything they disapprove of becomes enticing? I definitely have.
And hereâs the thing with Stu, he might have a religious family but he sure does talk about sex a lot. Unabashedly too. He spends the night at his girlfriends house, and she confirms that they have sex. He fills his house with people, feeds them booze, and kills a bunch of them. This isnât giving me the picture of a fearful catholic son.
Before I saw the pope picture I had already been writing Stuâs family as conservative and religious. He definitely grew up with the idea that sex is a sin and gay sex is even worse. But heâs not a guy that likes authority. He likes sensory pleasure and chaos, and at least some of that is a rejection of his upbringing. Dude watches slasher movies and raunchy comedies like clerks. He fucks and he talks openly about it. He gets drunk and he directs his best friend to go take his girlfriends virginity in his parents bed.
Heâs rebelling.
To me? Yeah he might have been the kind of kid who had religious fears and guilts when he was younger. Heâs definitely been baptized and his family probably still makes him go to church sometimes. But heâs not isolated. Itâs the mid 90s and he has access to more media than kids did ever before. Heâs had access to alternative view points, narratives that contradict the ones instilled in him when he was young.
And the 90s are a time characterized by a loud rejection of convention. Grunge rocker Kurt Cobain wears dresses, the riot grrl movement is in full swing, and people are getting really into modern forms of paganism. Itâs popular to reject your parents beliefs.
Thereâs an interview with Neve Campbell where she talks about how she thinks Billy and Stu were partly motivated by the rage of being unable to be themselves in Woodsboro and I think that works really well here. What better what to say a fuck you to your religious parents than to have buttsex with a pretty dude and kill a bunch of people?
Again, this is just the way I see the character. Thereâs nothing wrong with different interpretations and fandom would be boring if we all saw these characters in the exact same way. But yeah just an alternative way to look at it.

Round 5 - Catholic Character Tournament
Propaganda below âŹď¸
Sister Michael
She drives a DeLorean. She does judo on Fridays. She likes a good statue and despises the French. Her full nun name is Sister George Michael, after the guy from Wham!. She is the fiercest nun youâll ever come across and, if youâre attending Lady Immaculate College, sheâs the woman in charge. So whatever you do, if youâre feeling anxious or worried or just need a chat: donât come crying to her.
joined the nunnery for the free accommodation?
she does love a good statue it has to be said
She is the headmistress of a catholic school <3
sister michael so reminds me of the nuns who taught me. they're tough and sometimes a little harsher than a woman who dedicated her life to god should be but they're also wonderful people. i had a nun teacher who was 60 years old and would do handstands. another nun (also in her 60s) told me god was nonbinary. another was really mean and made me cry. (so did the handstand nun.) while the catholic girls school is The Catholic Experience, the school wouldn't have been the same for me or the derry girls without at least one nun who seemed to have sprung up out of the ground fully formed, ageless.
Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler Propaganda:
good lord where do i start. in the animated series he converts logan to catholisism and then fucks off basically thats the main thing he did there. i think one time they tried to make him a demon to explain how he looked but everyone hated that. he sold his soul one time to help his friends out after he died. he and logan have a weird little gay thing. he was a priest one time but he was made a priest by a fake bishop from a religion that hates mutants iirc so he just wasnt a priest. like 3 people have written him in a way i like and one of those is my friend just talking about how they view him.
wow marvel loves making catholic characters dress/look like demons
Kurt is a mutant who was born to mystique who looks a LOT like a devil (technically is half one but that cannon truth isnât real go back to bed), his mother dropped him off a cliff when he was born and he was picked up by a Romani group/circus (fuck old comics man) however he then narrowly escaped being sold to a freak show and found himself in a small German town. There he met a kind priest, who showed him God, and he quickly grew attached to the idea- However, it wasnât long before people began labeling him a demon and soon the whole town was against him with pitchforks and fire. Cornered and injured, Kurt thought this might be the end for him- maybe he would see heaven so long after finding it- but he was then saved by Charles Xavier who invited him to the X-Men. AND ITS BEEN SO MANY YEARS AND HE HAS BEEN THROUGH SO MUCH THERE. SO MUCH. SO GOD DAMN MUCH. BUT THE MOST AAAA THING TO ME CONCERNING HIS FAITH HE WHEN HE LITERALLY DIED AND WENT TO HEAVEN BUT THEN BECAUSE OF DRAMA WITH HIS FATHER HAD TO BRING HIS FRIENDS IN WITH HIM FROM THE BEYOND. THEN WITH ALOT OF TROUBLE THEY FOUGHT HIS FATHER AND THE ONLY WAY KURT SAW TO STOP HIM WAS IN A MOVE THAT STRIPPED THEM BOTH OF THEIR SOULS AND PUT THEM BACK ON EARTH. SO KURT CANONICALLY HAS NOW LOST HIS ABILITY FOR ETERNAL PEACE, LOST HIS VERY SOUL, TO SAVE PEOPLE- AND ALSO TOLD NO ONE NOT EVEN HIS GAY LOVER WOLVERINE.
Nightcrawler is a mutant vigilante who looks like a classical demon. He canât even go to church without people panicking and trying to exorcize him. Despite it all, heâs so full of faith and hope and compassion, and he wants to believe the best of everyone. Also, heâs bffs with an extremely angry Jewish sword lesbian. That has nothing to do with anything, but itâs important to me that you all know that.
What if you were a devout christian and literally looked like the devil? He nearly became the pope, which was a plot by some supervillains that also involved faking a rapture? There is nothing like comics I swear to god.
A catholic who is half demon I donât think I can better explain a struggle than that. But his character is so relatable to people who feel unwelcome with their congregation because of something that is a part of them but still feeling a connection to the faith. Kurt actively engaged in his faith and shares how his faith helps him through all the things he has faced in life and how he found a home with those of the church who leave the judging to God.
so they made kurt a priest briefly before deciding to retcon it, resulting in nightcrawler actually being part of a plan by villains to promote him to pope then reveal to the world that the pope is a demon. wild.
I have a side blog and a tattoo about him and i really really want him to win
Wisecracking devil-appearing devout Catholic with the Best superpower (teleportation)? HECK YES
German Catholic circus acrobat who looks like a demon & can teleport through a hellish alternate dimension with a puff of sulfur. Character of all time.
hes catholic and his dad is the devil. what could be funnier than that. also hes my silly little guy.
Nightcrawler is the worldâs most fun catholic priest. I first was introduced to this kindhearted teleporting acrobat while he saved a boat full of stowaway refugees from inter dimensional pirates with swashbuckling gusto!

Kitty Pryde Experiments with Costumes
I vote for the full Vader cosplay.
Umm, I don't give a shit what anyone says - this one slaps! Maybe the roller skates are a little impractical though perhaps I'm ignoring Intangibility synergy. Kurt disagrees but Ororo zaps him on the bum. I'd be so frustrated with Chuck's big bald head appearing all the time.
Of course he's thinking gay thoughts about Magneto. So am I.
I wish I had the confidence of a 13 1/2 year old presenting this last costume. "HERE I AM!" The jewellery might be a bit impractical but I like this one too. Kid's got style, and IMO she's heavily influenced by Ororo's aesthetic/costume here which is so cute. The POV of the last panel just sells it even more - I'm not taking fashion advice from most of these dorks. Storm looks dope but no one else has room to talk.
Kitty acquired a rep as being unfashionable, even frumpish. Maybe if her creativity wasn't STRANGLED IN THE CRADLE BY UNFEELING MONSTERS that would be different. At least allowed to compromise and express herself instead of being slapped down, insha'Allah.

Hey dude I totally donât know at all you should totally write a manifesto on trans/intersex wolverine ooooo you wanna write it so bad ooooooo
you tease me, tumblr user that i am definitely not friends with. we both know this is bait i simply cannot help but bite. << if you read this till the end you get a surprise :) >>
i could go on a big long rant and list every single instance in which logan defies gender norms in the comics, but i'm gonna try to be brief this time. my headcanon that logan is trans/intersex is so personal and deeply rooted in my mind that discussing it kinda feels like sharing the secrets of a close friend if that makes sense. like, it's his business, it ain't my right to share that information.
i know there are trans logan truthers out there. i have seen them in the wild. i know there are people who would agree with this headcanon, and i'm sure i'm not the only one who takes trans headcanons super personally as a trans person, projecting your experiences and feelings onto a character you really like. it's the same thing with ol' logan (and kurt is not spared of this treatment either).
with the intersex headcanon, i don't often see those enough (for any character, in any fandom, honestly) especially considering intersex people make up, like, 2% of the entire world population. i know of several canon intersex characters in media, but not headcanons.
the biggest reason many people have the trans logan headcanon is because of his clone x-23/laura having XX chromosomes due to the sample used by dr. kinney having a damaged Y, making her 'female'. this is going off of a ciscentric intersex-exclusionary idea of what biological sex is, though.
i'm still totally down for the base concept of 'laura and logan having different gender identities means that at least one of them is trans since they have basically the same DNA' though, but i think both logan and laura are intersex. i think part of the reason it was so hard to clone wolverine is because of his unique DNA. it isn't contradictory for them to have different gender identities or different biology. i think we should stop looking for a reason to label laura Girl and logan Boy and just accept that they can be neither, both, in and out of the between, anything, it just requires so much less hassle. why is their biology so important anyway? that doesn't change their characters.
there's also just...general biological fuckery happening in the weapon x program as pointed out by 1random-starfish because this is superhero comics we're talking about where they're trying to explain how characters get superpowers. this shit doesn't make biological sense and that's okay. it doesn't need to make sense. transphobes and interphobes are constantly saying that our existences "don't make sense" and why should we ever even slightly cater to their beliefs? we make sense to ourselves and that's all that matters. trans and intersex logan makes sense to me.
another argument brought up in defence of trans logan is the fact that he's a short king. as a short king, i approve of this. but there's little emphasis on the fact that he is naturally extremely hairy, both him and sabretooth are super hairy, like way more so than most other characters (besides the ones that are covered in fur like kurt and hank) and that's pretty significant to me. i'm also hairy as fuck. almost all of my intersex friends are hairy too. obviously how much hair a trans and/or intersex person has will vary, but like i said, this trans/intersex logan headcanon is super personal, so i'm projecting personal attributes onto him, damn it.
as i said in a previous post, though i don't feel it's incredibly important to disclose, logan likely has POTS or CAH or something similar to those conditions. i don't think medicine can or should define what logan is. but just to give a reference for how i interpret his appearance, some of those attributes are similar to the ones logan has in my brain. fat, hairy, short, often experiencing fatigue/vertigo/disturbed sleep/etc (worsened by him having PTSD), adrenal issues (paired with PTSD), breast tissue, facial hair, decreased bone density (which was strengthened by his skeleton being bonded with adamantium), etc. he was also allegedly a very sickly child.
onto how i portray logan in my art. some artists prefer to give him top surgery, not just for the "who cares it's a headcanon i do what i want" reasoning but also because there's evidence that logan could experience a permanent surgery like that if enough effort was put in. i, however, am one of the no-op logan truthers. not only do not all transmasc people get top surgery but it doesn't always feel required due to diversity of body types. it's why there's so many different kinds of top surgery, there's so many different ways a chest can look. i don't always draw logan's chest the same way consistently, and like, who cares. the only reason i bring this up is because i personally will never draw logan with any kind of scars, top surgery or otherwise, because of my understanding of how his healing factor works.
regardless of any reasoning i may have for these headcanons, it's just what i feel is right. i draw stuff how i want to. i think about these characters how i want to. the little version of logan that lives in my brain told me he is trans and intersex so that's how i'm gonna portray him. anyway,

Marvel/X-men high school au
So, I've had this idea for a while, and Deadpool & Wolverine reminded me that I had this idea, which I have been nervous to share. It's a Cherik no powers crossover
It starts with the aftermath of the a car crash which resulted death of Erik's wife Magda and their youngest, Nina. (As an aside, Pietro and Wanda are also their kids, and Peter is Erik's from a previous relationship, either a marriage or college one-night stand that ended in pregnancy). A couple months or maybe a year after their deaths, Wanda and Pietro get accepted into the Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters (which is a stem school in this universe) and Peter accepts a student-teaching (where a college student shadows a teacher) position there as well because he maybe feels guilt over not spending enough time with Nina when she was alive, so he accepts it so that he's able to spend time with twins. Or maybe he blames himself for her death or something.
Erik experience trepidation over sending, as he and Charles have a history. They dated in high school, then one day Charles left, leaving nothing, not even a note. So, when they meet during the welcome new parents and students meeting, he's surprised to see Charles there, not because he wasn't expecting him, but because he's in a wheelchair. They keep running into each other, maybe with some influence from Erik's kids as well as maybe Mistique.
For Peter's part of the story, he's under the tutelage of Logan, who teaches history. He's mostly professional, but he's also a little shit. Like, with seating charts, he takes note over who he thinks has a crush on who, and sits them next to each other. Or, the fact that he notices how he wants to project how one Wade Wilson annoys him to death, but only to hide that he secretly likes his attention. Peter tries to parent trap them, along with parent trapping Erik and Charles with some help.
Wanda and Pietro's part of the story is parent trapping their dad and principal, (at least) two of their teachers, as well as some of their friends, as well as each other (or at least just Pietro to Wanda) and maybe Peter too because maybe there is another student-teacher there.
other ships could include the thruce, lokius or Theo/Loki (maybe a love triangle there, idk), ironstrange, stucky. For X-men, like maybe Jean/Scott, maybe Kurt/Warren, or anything... dealers choice really. Maybe it could be in one story, or it could be like my no homophobia au. One fanfic per storyline, or whatever.

âBut you want that experience,â Eddie says.Â
And⌠Yeah? Yeah, he does. Maybe thatâs wrong. Maybe he needs to unpack that. He didnât realize how much he wanted it until the suggestion that he willingly give it up. He never imagined he and Eddie would get to have a kid that was part of them both. As two queer men, thatâs not a simple thing. And coming from two people who have offered them this incredible generosity? It feels right. It feels important. Maybe it isnât, but thatâs how he feels.Â
âYeah,â Buck sighs. âI guess I do. More than I realized.â
Eddie exhales. âOkay, I mean⌠I donât not want it. You know that right?â
âBut?â Buck asks.
âBut I feel like I need to at least hear Pepa out,â Eddie says. âMeet Lourdes. See how we feel.â
Buckâs jaw tightens. He knows Eddie loves his aunt. Feels indebted to her. Sheâs always supported him, been his cheerleader, even when his own parents werenât. So Buck gets it. Why he wants to do as she asks.Â
âOkay,â Buck sighs. âWeâll meet her. But Iâm serious about not leading her on if itâs not what we want.â
Eddie nods. âThatâs fair. If we meet her, hear what she wants, and decide biology is more important, weâll drop it.â
âHey,â Buck shakes his head. âItâs not about that. Itâs not about biology.â
Eddie raises an eyebrow. âIsnât it? And I mean⌠Itâs okay if it is.âÂ
âNo,â Buck shakes his head. âItâs⌠Itâs not. You know I donât care that Chris isnât related to me.â
âI do know that,â Eddie nods. âBut itâs okay if you do want a kid that is.â
But that doesnât feel right either. âIf it was⌠If it was just me and a random egg donor,â Buck says. âI donât think Iâd care. Itâs not about it being my baby.â

Which is fair. He was the wronged party in his breakup. And, anyway, he and Abby donât have any reason to hold onto lingering resentments. Much easier without marriage and children in the mix. So he charts at dinner and makes friends with Taylor and Shannon - a miracle, given how they met - and exchanges zombie survival stories. Heâs just⌠Well, heâs absurdly charming. Itâd piss Eddie off, if he didnât like him so much.Â
By the time they wake up the next morning, Eddie is just ready to get moving. Shannon had explained that Lucy - the person in charge of their van - and her girlfriend will be back as soon as they can. She likes to go to other settlements where she knows there are people in need and distribute whatever aid she can.Â
âShe was a firefighter, before the end,â Shannon says.Â
âAnother one!â Buck exclaims in response.Â
âYep,â Shannon says. âYou seem to have a knack for survival.â
So they spend the next morning waiting for Lucy to come back.Â
Buck and Eddie keep to their agreement. They donât do anything else. Not even a brush of hands. It feels disrespectful, with Shannon and Abby nearby. Getting caught by accident was one thing. Being deliberate is another. So they keep a healthy distance apart. Even if Eddie is itching to reach out and touch him again.Â
When Lucy returns back in the van - which turns out to be an old UPS delivery van - itâs past noon. Eddie is surprised to find he recognizes her girlfriend immediately. Not that he should be surprised to recognize anyone, after Shannon. But this really isnât who we would have guessed.Â
âMy god, Buck,â Eddie whispers, as she climbs out of the van and he sees her face. âItâs Felisa Valdez!âÂ
âWho?â Buck asks.
âDonât look!â Eddie hisses.Â
Buck looks at the ground. âHow am I supposed to know who youâre talking about if I donât look?â
âFelisa Valdez,â Eddie repeats. âTelenovela star. Didnât come up when you were in Peru?â
âNo,â Buck says. âSorry. We mostly had movies on DVD playing at the bar. The head bartender really loved Kurt Russell.â
Well, duh. Good taste.Â
âSheâs super famous in the telenovela world,â Eddie explains. âOr⌠When there was one.â
Buck pats him on the shoulder. âIâm sure sheâll be glad to know not all her fans have been eaten.â
âWhat? No, Iâm not a fan. Donât tell her Iâm a fan!â

âHeâs the only thing in my life that I could just rely on,â Eddie whispers. âAlways. No matter what. No strings attached.â âI think you still can,â Shannon says.Â
âNot if I literally canât talk to him,â Eddie says. âIf he doesnât leave his damn apartment when things donât go his way. If he does things that will tear us apartâŚâ
âThatâs not what he thinks heâs doing,â Shannon replies. âCome on, Eddie. You really donât believe thatâs his intention.â
âIt doesnât matter what his intention is!â Eddie bursts. âHeâs still doing it!â
âAnd you donât have any sympathy for why?â Shannon argues. Because Buck isnât here to shout for himself. And because maybe - maybe - the argument is hitting just a little too close to home.Â
âWhat are you talking about?â Eddie asks. âWe just established itâs safer for him not be on active duty.â
God, he can be so thick.Â
âNot that, Eddie. I mean, whatever is going on in his head that led him to this choice.â
That seems to shut Eddie up for a second.
âEddie, heâs had a hell of a year,â Shannon says. âI think heâs in more pain than heâs telling you. Iâm worried about him.â
Eddie closes his eyes. Takes a deep breath. Itâs something Eddie wrestles with, Shannon knows. His sense of right and wrong, his sense of duty, versus other peopleâs emotions. The hard edges of his armor versus the soft center of his heart. Â
âI know heâs had a hard year,â Eddie says eventually. âBut this isnât a good way of handling it.â
âNo,â Shannon agrees. âBut if you keep expecting people to live up to your expectations of soldiering through hard times, everyone will always piss you off, Eddie. No one can live up to it. Not even you.â
Eddie flinches. âWhat is that supposed to mean?â
âOh, please,â Shannon scoffs. âEddie. You didnât handle being fucked up well either! You can pretend you did all you want, but I remember. I was there when you got home. You were broken, too.â
Eddieâs face freezes. Thereâs a drawn out silence where Shannon worries sheâs gone too far. She knows itâs sensitive. She knows itâs sort of⌠Forbidden, even. Talking about what he went through. He doesnât. He wonât. It used to drive her crazy. Heâd be so flippant and nonchalant about it, but he would cry out in his sleep. He was withdrawn and miserable for months. The only person he seemed to have any light around was Christopher. She still doesnât know the whole truth. His chopper went down. Someone died. He saved a bunch of others. He was shot and nearly died.Â

Controversial Character Tournament Round 2: Blaine Anderson from Glee vs Barok Van Zieks from The Great Ace Attorney
(remember that these characters are fictional and your fellow tumblr users are real. i will block you if you harass others in the notes, please consider sending your unhinged harassment to my inbox instead)
Propaganda under the cut, may contain spoilers:
Blaine Anderson:
LOVE: - "you know that post that's like "fandom will call a character evil and immature and then the character is just 15 yo" because that's what happens with blaine. he's just a sweet but socially inept kid with a lot of insecurities who's trying his best. compared to most glee characters he hasn't done anything wrong in his life. and yes he cheated on his boyfriend that one time, but he was super depressed afterwards (also this is glee literally every character has cheated and none have suffered as most as blaine because of it). in conclusion he's just a silly goose. my little princess <3"
HATE: (tumblr will not let me format this one bc its too long)
"A lot of people say he's the male Rachel Berry, and while I think that is absolutely a true statement, I actually don't mind his personality all that much. Literally everyone in Glee has a personality that ranges from inconsistent to downright horrendeus, so instead of talking about what he's like, here's some things he canonically does (buckle up, this'll be long): In season 2, when we first meet him, he's the leader of his school's showchoir. (redflag no.1/j) This gives him the freedom and authoritity to do a lot of stuff- not all bad, but he does serenade a closeted guy he doesn't know all that well, who works in costumer service AT HIS WORKPLACE, with a song about sex toys. (The guy in question ends up getting fired of course). He also gives some pretty hypocritical advice to his love interest, Kurt, about how he should try to blend in (hypocritical, cuz Blaine does the opposite and he's thriving under the attention), and he asks some insesitive questions, but those are all pretty excusable, or at least standard for Glee. In s3, him and Kurt are boyfriends, and he transitions school for him, which we could absolutely count as a decent thing, however it all kinda sours when he gets the part of Tony in the school's production of West side story. Why is this important? Kurt is a senior, and the performing arts university he's applying for is really competitive, so he needs all the extra curriculars and theatre experiance he can get. He asks Blaine to not aidition for Tony- which he agrees to- than promptly goes against that by singing one of Tony's songs at audition. He then gets offfered the role, doesn't turn it down, tells Kurt he should be happy for him, and honestly, BY GLEE STANDARDS, this is also pretty chill. Meanwhile: enter Sebastian Smythe, another contraversial character, who's now the new captain of Blaine's former showchoir, and who decides that either 1. Blaine is hot 2. Gonna use Blaine as an informat (His reasons are unclear tbh) Either way, he starts flirting with Blaine, who does end up rejecting his advances and telling him he's taken (though much later than it's probably ethical, idk tho, I'm aro). He (Blaine) really enjoys the attention though, so they end up keeping in touch. (Important for later.) Back to our main plot though; Blaime doesn't have sexual chemistry with his co-star, so the director tells him to lose his virginity (yes, you heared that right, it is fucked up). So he tries to sleep with Kurt, who of course, doesn't know that his boyfriend's sudden interest in him is due to directoral instructions. And then probably the most contraversial Blaine scene happens- see, Blaine, Kurt, and Sebastian (who Kurt hates with passion) end up going to this gaybar. Blaime gets drunk (though he only drinks one beer on screen, so we don't exactly know how drunk), and tries to sleep with Kurt in the parking lot. Kurt is visibly upset, and tells him no multiple times. Blaime doesn't oblige, and Kurt ends up shouting at him, which Blaine...doesn't take well, and blames Kurt, then leaves by foot. (They end up having sex by the end of this episode btw. No, Kurt still doesn't know about the directoral instructions. Whether he does it out of love or fear that Blaine will leave him is unclear) So we already know these two are not very good at boundries and communication, but the writers say they're "soulmates" so apperantly it's okay? Anyway, this all culminates in cheating incident no.1, where Kurt meets a guy whom he shares similar interests with, and who gives him some very cheesy compliements. They exchange numbers, and text a lot. Blaine doesn't like this. He checks their texts in secret, and then sings a song in front of the entire Glee club about how he's being cheated on, to humiliate Kurt.
Kurt insists it's not cheating, giving the example that Blaine's doing the same/used ro do the same with Sebastian. Blaine says "that's different" and they leave it at that. Kurt apologises via song. S4- Kurt moves to New York. Has to work a lot, since rebt is high, and also gets an internship at vague, so he's quite busy. Blaine feels ignored, so he cheats on him with some guy we only see the facebook profile of. They break up. S5- Blaine has a crush in this other guy, Sam. (He's been trying to get Kurt back, so him moving on is a big deal). Except gay marrige gets legalized, and Blaine decides to propose to Kurt. So he gets back together with him, then bot a week later he arranges a huge public proposal where it'd honestly just be plain emberassing to say no, but dontcha worry, because Kurt accepts. They move to New York together. Blaine becomes insecure, because Kurt gets ripped thanks to his fencing lessons, meanwhile he lrts go of himself a bit, enjoying all the fine food New York has to offer. His reaction to this is to try manipulating/tricking Kurt into eating copious amounts of food too. (To be fair, Kurt's reaction to the situation isn't perfect either, but this is not about him, their actions can co-exist without one of them necessarily having to be "the right one") S6- Kurt breaks up with Blaine. Blaine ends up going back to Ohio, and dating the guy who bullied, non-consensually kissed, than threatened to kill Kurt. (The guy did have a redemption arc, but I still dunno how to feel) You might be wondering- "wow, this was so lpng and extensive", and you'd be right but also this was mostly romantic relationship centric. There's also a lot of stuff Blaine says to his friends that make me question my sanity, but this is Glee, so that's every character in basically every episode. What makes me hate Blaine isn't even JUST all this- it's the fact that in universe, he almost never gets called-out, people take his side, it's as if the writers are condoning his actions, and I Don't Like That. I'm all for liking morally grey, or even morally dispicable characters, as long as their actions don't get excused. Hell, I started out just mildly disliking Blaine, but a lot of people paint him as innocent and pure, and that didn't feel right. Then I was ready to like him BECUASE of his questionable morality- but turns out, the guy doean't have much else going on besides this. His personality is almost the same as Rachel, except Rachel's more...full? If that makes sense? Blaine is just...bland. And inconsistent, and boring, and I just Do Not Like Him At All."
Baron Van Zieks:
LOVE: - "man's 6'4", british, looks like a vampire, took a mental health break for 5 years thanks to the dead bodies that cropped up after he lost in court, and is uhhhhhh kinda racist which is a key part of his character. the explanation for it is divisive but he does grow as a character eventually?? i think he's fun. there's a bonus case exclusive to the 3DS version of the games where he mentions he was almost poisoned in one of the first cases he ever handled. he objects with his leg. he brings wine into court but rarely drinks it. he has bats in his office. we have no idea where the scar on his face came from. his voice actor did a subway commercial. i think he wants to believe he is the sane one in the courtroom but that title belongs to the 16 year old judicial assistant for the defense." - "I love to hate him tbh!!! He's a complex interesting character tied up in things outside of his control and being used by the antagonist to hurt people, isolated due to his grief and rumors from the public. He also sucks SO fucking bad and I want to punch him. Lovingly. But I love him I promise."

Extremely niche post catering to approximately six of my mutuals and/or followers about how I think the GreedFall characters (in an idealised, good ending where a cure is possible and everyone is happy) would react/interact with the BG3 companions and Tav (well. my original tav, at least)
Vasco is hard to warm up to new people, but then he hears Wyll and Karlach hyping each other up and talking about their adventures, and especially with the way Wyll romanticises things so much, he's now listening SO intently. In return the two of them are enraptured when Vasco describes his life as a Naut, and the range of things he experienced on the seas at such a young age. He has an almost pained sort of reaction when he hears about Wyll growing up as nobility, and circumstances ripping him away from it, but is inspired to know how Wyll grows from that experience to be so much more than just the Duke's son. He really loves how much Karlach loves her people
Siora is also a little stressed about how she would be received but Jaheira and Halsin are super easy to gravitate towards and there is very quickly an understanding as they discuss their deep connections to the land and their people. Siora describes the NĂĄdaig with such reverence and fear and awe and the two druids are positively spellbound. Halsin talks about Thaniel, and then both he and Jaheira take turns describing their wildshaping and giving some demonstrations, much to Siora's delight. I think she would also be quietly in awe of the other women in the group too, and their prowess and experiences
Kurt is pretty standoffish and just wants to keep an eye on De Sardet and Constantin, but at some point he strikes up a conversation with Shadowheart and Astarion. It's tense and cagey for a long while, and I'm not sure how it would even come up, but he learns of the Dark Justiciar training and Astarion's past under Cazador's heel, and then he's gently sharing his own traumatic experiences to show how much he understands. The camp, and the things they were made to do.... Nobody makes mention of the quick, but fiercely protective hugs between the three of them (I headcanon Kurt is a hugger. The man WILL crush someone in a hug). There is a wordless bond of strength and healing through action (and no small amount of revenge)
Aphra and Gale are warily eyeing each other up, but man. You can fit so many 'intense special interest in my chosen field of study' into these bad boys. If you can get one of them to shut up for long enough, the other will just as easily keep the conversation going. They don't quite understand much of what the other is talking about but there is mutual acceptance and respect from a scholarly point of view. Gale mentions the view from his tower in Waterdeep, and Aphra's resolve will crumble as she describes the observatories where she grew up
Petrus is stuck between Lae'zel and Minthara who are both ranting about power struggles and God/s in the Fanatics Cornerâ˘ď¸. He quickly learns to keep his mouth shut unless he's asked for an opinion, but there is a great deal of intelligent theological debate, and about how to deal with hierarchy and control of a people, when what they have been told is the truth, simply. Is not.
De Sardet and Tav are passing a bottle of something STRONGLY alcoholic back and forth, lamenting the staggering amount of work that a 'Chosen Leader' has to do to bring people together and broker some sort of peace or alliance, OR make the hard choice and cut ties before things become unsalvageable. The conversation starts off pretty unhappy and painful, but ends with a lot of hope and love
Finally, Constantin has been utterly charmed by Minsc and Boo. So neither the Stone Lord nor our dear, darling ball of curiosity, Constantin, are causing any trouble right now. Boo is pulling every string and eldritch(?) favour he can to keep this duo contained

One critique I have seen of the whole "Homura (or her double) is/becomes Walpurgisnacht" theory for WnK is that it's "too obvious and therefore won't happen". This is so funny to me because a certain degree of predictability is actually a sign of good writing--the best plot twists do not come randomly out of nowhere, they are heavily foreshadowed earlier in the work, even if this is only obvious in hindsight. Or, to quote one of my favorite pieces of writing advice ever from Kurt Vonnegut,
Give your readers as much information as possible as soon as possible. To hell with suspense. Readers should have such complete understanding of what is going on, where and why, that they could finish the story themselves, should cockroaches eat the last few pages.
In other words, as the story progresses, the number of possible routes dwindles, until only one path remains. The best endings not only make sense, they are inevitable.
From this perspective, the original Madoka Magica TV series is one of the most predictable shows I have ever watched, dropping exposition with remarkable precision and clarity at steady intervals. It's like watching a chess master at work, moving the characters from square to square until suddenly--CHECKMATE!
On my first viewing, I blinked when Mami demonstrates how a grief seed purifies a soul gem in Episode 2. "Wow, that looks just like a soul gem," I said to myself. "And it powers their magic, too? That can't possibly be a coincidence. Magical girls and witches are connected in a symbiotic relationship, but it's clearly meant to be a secret, so let's see where this goes." Later on, of course, the show makes a big deal of how Sayaka is refusing to purify her grief seed and the ominous but unnamed consequences that would come of it, and it was abundantly clear to me at that point that magical girls transformed into witches when they ran out of magic, several episodes before the actual reveal.
Likewise, when Madoka didn't immediately become a magical girl after hearing Kyubey's offer in episode 2, I took this to mean the show was actually about her journey to become a magical girl (and not being a magical girl, an important distinction), and she would only make her wish in the final episode after she was fully aware of the consequences. Sayaka's narrative role was to leap headlong into her wish, and show us exactly what the downsides were--through her failures, Madoka's hesitation would not only be justified, but that knowledge would inspire her to reform the clearly corrupt magical girl system entirely (an impression supported by Kyubey's speech by the fountain where he tells Madoka she has the power to become a god).
You might think that seeing these big plot twists coming would ruin my enjoyment, but quite the contrary--it was so refreshing to feel like I was on the same page as the author and that my careful attention to detail was rewarded. Paradoxically, it made me love the show even more precisely because I could see the twists before they happened--as if I was watching the show for the second or third time already. The best plot twists deepen the experience, allowing us to fully appreciate and savor them on subsequent viewings. It's why tragedies tell us in the beginning that the hero will die; the drama and suspense are not so much in what happens, but how and why.
I mention all of this not to try to impress people with how smart I am (when it comes to predictions about the future, past performance does not guarantee future success), merely to explain why I trust my instincts when it comes to this show, because they've served me so well before. Unless Gen Urobuchi and SHAFT have completely changed their approach with Walpurgis no Kaiten, I expect every single twist to be carefully foreshadowed in advance, just like previous installments--and therefore, inherently predictable, at least in theory. Whether we currently have all of the information and/or interpret it correctly are entirely different questions, of course.
Despite its reputation for obfuscation, I have found the original PMMM anime to be remarkably straightforward in its storytelling approach, and I hope that Walpurgis no Kaiten will be no different in this regard. Thus, I see no need to second-guess myself or to assume that the simplest approach is automatically off the table in favor of something more complicated.
That said, if you don't personally care for the idea that Homura and/or her double is Walpurgisnacht, or you are skeptical it will happen, that's fine. But "it's too predictable, therefore it can't happen" is not an argument I can take seriously given my own experiences.

Kurt's Diary - Thoughts and Theories
(Including crack theory Naib didn't kill Murro)
1) Emily's (first aid kit?)
2) Wu Chang's umbrella is still here, and NE is making sure we know this. That means either Jose did leave but didn't bring the umbrella with him, or he didn't leave
If he did win, was he put into another game like Emma and Murro (Emma's letter did mention her being with others her 2nd time around)?
Orpheus did say he "treasured" the opportunity to include Jose in his experiments, which could mean he'd want to use him as long as he could?
* Michiko's mask is still here too.
3) The "guy" Murro would rather "freeze to death" than encounter can't be the Hullabaloo group (Murro the only survivor). Likely Naib, who's chasing Murro based on Naib's 1st letter (only other possible option is the manor owner)
4) HA! I WAS RIGHT! THERE WAS SOMETHING SECRET ABOUT THE FROG AND ITS GOLD BALL! (I'm sorry, I've been focused on that stupid thing since I first joined IDV and saw the diaries.) Question now is what it does... (secret exit?)
We know the gold ball was in Murro's room based on William's diary before he returned it to the statue. Maybe Murro knew its secret. But for what purpose? Did Murro hide something there, like how he used apple juice to write secret pages in his diary? Or something else?
5) Pretty sure the "explorer" isn't literally Kurt here. The one who "refused to trust his allies" and was "brutally slain by a wild beast" should be Murro, based on Murro's diary page Kurt finds, and Kurt may assume Bane killed Murro for now and thus Bane is the "beast"
Though considering the other letters, Naib is another option, but Kurt should have no reason to know that (if Naib did indeed kill Murro), so at least in this context Kurt says "wild best" to refer to Bane.
I've always had 2nd thoughts/doubts about the idea Naib wants to kill Murro. We know Naib works for Arthur Russel, who we know is a detective. Arthur is currently the one investigating both the Hullabaloo tragedy and Lakeside Village.
We know Arthur cares about his investigators as he pulls them out of the investigation when he believes a "crime syndicate" is involved with Lakeside. We haven't seen anything yet that implies Arthur also has his men do assassinations though...
Not saying that can't be the truth but I want more info before jumping to any conclusions, despite whatever the manor owner says, especially as we know even the manor owner isn't all-knowing (like with the people who only leave puddles behind, or Naib managing to disappear).
It's hard for me to say, but it is possible there were multiple sets of footprints belonging to more than 1 person, aka maybe Naib's was 1 of them (if not Bane's, if Bane only stays in his cabin in the forest).
Seem to be maybe 4 sets of footprints
1 set
2nd set
3rd set
4th set
But if Naib can disappear from the manor owner's sight, maybe he can also help other people to disappear too? If Arthur wanted to find the culprit of the Hullabaloo deaths and they discovered someone else from the circus had survived, they may have wanted to find him to help solve the mystery of the circus murders, which could be why Naib went after Murro as we saw in his 1st letter.
As an investigator, a new witness could be the key to solving the whole mystery (maybe that's just me as someone who reads/watches/plays too much detective stuff)
Naib obviously knows how to be stealthy/sneaky considering he has to do the same for himself to hide from the authorities, since Naib is a deserter, and desertion is a serious offense.
Murro's smart too considering the sort of invisible ink he uses.
So I think it's possible...
Maybe a good question to ask is âWhyâ? Why would Naib want to kill Murro? Mike is friendly with Murro, who Mike helped fake his death for, so heâs not the reason. And Naib isnât just a brainless killer, since he deserted after refusing to kill his comrades, so heâd need a reason.
I guess you could say he might if he was paid to do so, but whoâd ask to kill Murro? I doubt there are too many people that know too much about him enough to either hate him or have a reason to kill the person Bernard labeled as a âwild childâ for his circus.
Different note, but the hole is gone in Servais' diary, but the boars are now in that same area that 1 set of footprints led to. It's also where Naib leaves the dead boar, which has a section of it torn open.
Still no idea what might've been inside.
Too many questions...
6) Info about Kurt's 2nd letter
"tree cave" = Murro's room
William and Kurt were awake in the evening due to the "awful weather". Nothing about sounds of "wild beasts"
Kurt thought they should do more than sit in their rooms, which is why he had Will help gather Naib and Murro. This was when Kurt went to look for Murro, found Murro not in his room + door locked, then went outside, where he saw footsteps, a (freshly dug?) hole, and Bane. He didn't see a "corpse", any heads being "bit off", or it being dragged off
Last thing Kurt says is to ask Naib to look at his new "work" based on his "experiences". This may be, at least in part, related to the work "Kurt Frank's Travels" from Kurt's 4th letter that he writes to Blackett Publications to get published. But nothing, at least from this yet, about telling Naib about seeing "a wild beast dragging his corpse into the shrubs. It bit off his head". Doesn't mean he didn't tell Naib this, but based on how much of the previous stuff was true, it's at least doubtful this is the full truth
