Learning Languages
Hey! It's Anastasia! I'll teach you how to learn languages, coming from someone who can speak 6 languages, understand 7, and currently learning 2!
Languages I know: 𓉸ྀི english 𓉸ྀི french 𓉸ྀི hindi 𓉸ྀི gujarati 𓉸ྀི marathi 𓉸ྀི hebrew
Languages I understand: 𓉸ྀི all of the above 𓉸ྀི spanish
Language I'm learning: 𓉸ྀི west Frisian 𓉸ྀི italian
How To Start Off With Languages:
𓉸ྀི Find a language you actually want to learn. Motivation is a big thing with language learning. 𓉸ྀི If you find language learning harder, I would suggest finding a language that is closer to the one you speak the most. For example, you may want to try Portuguese if you speak Spanish.
Side note: If you guys would like, I can do a separate post on this.
How To Study A Language:
𓉸ྀི Document your progress! Make your own dictionary with phonetics you can look back on! Write the alphabet, words and sentences you have learned 𓉸ྀི As we all know, Duolingo is a great app for language learning but, Drops is super helpful too! 𓉸ྀི Practice with your friends and watch YouTubers who teach you the language! Repeat after them! 𓉸ྀི Find a TV SHOW/MOVIE you have already watched! Now watch it in the language you're learning! Really helps if it is a show/movie for kids. Like a Disney movie! 𓉸ྀི Learn slang. It's fun!
How To Study While Busy:
𓉸ྀི As a student, I get super busy with homework. I try my best to at least do ONE lesson on Duolingo or Drops daily. 𓉸ྀི I try to translate some of the words I know from my homework into another language. Ex. Drama = Drame (French) Ex. Biology = Biologie (French)
How To Study Multiple Language At Once:
𓉸ྀི As a victim of this, PLEASE don't do this. Even knowing so many languages, I feel overwhelmed that I'm trying to learn two languages simultaneously. Stick to one, move to the next after you've mastered the first.
Thank you so much for reading. We appreciate every like, comment, reblog and follow. Please do follow us for more study, glow-up, and fashion content!
Love, Anastasia

10 things to keep in mind for the upcoming school year
you're never too late to prepare for the school year.
Set goals: Define what you want to achieve academically, socially, and personally. Whether it's improving your grades, joining a club, or learning a new skill, having clear goals gives you direction.
Break your goals into smaller, manageable steps and track your progress regularly. Use visual reminders to keep your goals in sight and celebrate small victories along the way. This can help maintain motivation, ensure you’re on track, and make big goals feel more achievable.
Prioritize yourself: While school is important, make sure to take care of yourself to avoid burnout. School can be and is stressful, and you'll find your mental health draining more than once. Take a day to put yourself first. A day is all you need.
Join clubs: Get involved in things that interest YOU (not your friends). It's a great way to find your passions, help you try new things, find friends with similar interests, and of course, look great on your university application. Clubs are a fun way to help yourself and your school out!!
Connect with teachers: You have no idea how much this will help you in the long run. Not only will you better enjoy your class, but teachers will be more forgiving and lenient when it comes to your final mark. You may also be able to get a university recommendation letter!
Don't be afraid to ask for help: Whether its academic or personal, asking for help isn't something to be hesitant about. "Ughhh im the only one who doesn't understand!! Im gonna look so weird if i raise my hand AGAIN." Dude, respectfully, shut up and go ask for help. You're only harming yourself in the process. Too scared? Ask privately. Don't want to talk upfront. Send an email. Your grade is on the line!!
Be Nice: Seriously, it's not that hard! being rude is not cute, you're just an ass!
Support your friends: Be there for them. The relationships you build now can last you a lifetime.
Take on Leadership Roles: Step up when you can. It may be difficult initially, but how else would you learn more about yourself? It's a good way to discover your strengths and interests. Also not only will be an amazing add-on to university applications, you meet a ton of new people!
Avoid Drama: As tempting as it sounds, it can take a toll on you mental health, having to comfort one person and then being told to choose between person a and person b? stay out of it. you come first
(+ EXTRAS: Manage time wisely, and balance schoolwork with leisure and other activities. Avoid procrastination by breaking tasks into smaller, manageable steps and tackling them systematically. Being adaptable, be open to changes and challenges that may come your way. Whether it's adjusting to a new schedule or dealing with unexpected events, adaptability is key to success.

How to romanticize your school life
Hi guys, it’s Medea! Let’s be real, school can be so boring at times. But we can change that! Romanticizing your school life is about finding the magic in everyday moments. With a few of these tips, you can create a vibe to make your school life 10x more bearable and fun.
˖ ᡣ𐭩 ⊹ ࣪ ౨ৎ˚₊
Put more effort into your appearance!
➳❥ Don’t underestimate how much a cute outfit can change your day. Add cute accessories, pretty hairstyle, and even some makeup. When you feel good about how you look, it can really boost your confidence and make you feel more comfortable in school. It also makes going to school feel more exciting, like you’re getting ready for something special instead of just another day at school.
Imagine you’re the main character (dont get main character syndrome tho.)
➳❥ You are living your own unique story. You should appreciate the little moments, like walking through the halls with purpose or enjoying a quiet moment by yourself. This mindset helps you see school as a part of your personal journey, making it feel less like a grind and more like something meaningful.
Try studying in the library or nearby cafés!
➳❥ Changing up your environment can make studying feel less like a chore. Being around others who are also working hard can motivate you to do the same and studying in another place just feels more aesthetic.
Get cute stationary and decorate your notes!
➳❥ Invest in some cute pens, highlighters, notebooks, and other stationary. When your notes look good, it makes studying feel less boring and maybe kinda fun. Plus, you get to look back at all your hard work at the end of the year and feel proud.
Listen to music whenever
➳❥ Make playlists to fit the vibe of your day! A good playlist can totally change your mood, so fine songs that match the feeling you want to create and let it carry you through your school day.
Record little moments of your school life!
➳❥ This is probably my favourite tip, it might sound a bit odd, but recording yourself studying or getting ready is really motivating. It helps you stay on track, plus making vlogs or having these little clips of your everyday life makes everything feel more fun and memorable.
˖ ᡣ𐭩 ⊹ ࣪ ౨ৎ˚₊
So there you have it! Romanticizing your school life doesn’t have to be complicated. Just embrace the little moments to make each day feel special.

The Importance of Setting Boundaries
I don't think many of us do this often enough. We're constantly connected, whether we like it or not. Whether it be with family or friends more often than not, we may feel like we’re always “on” and available to everyone.
But what does setting boundaries even mean? And how can you do it without feeling like you’re letting people down or being “selfish”? Spoiler alert: Setting boundaries isn’t selfish at all. It’s one of the healthiest things you can do for yourself—and for others.
What do Healthy Boundaries Look Like
Emotional Boundaries:
Not absorbing other people’s emotions or problems.
Saying no to emotionally draining situations.
Time Boundaries:
Protecting your time by saying no to things that don’t fit your schedule.
Setting aside time for self-care and personal activities.
Physical Boundaries:
Deciding who is allowed in your personal space.
Being clear about your comfort level with physical touch.
Mental Boundaries:
Standing firm on your opinions and beliefs.
Avoiding conversations or debates that drain your energy.
Material Boundaries:
Setting limits on lending possessions or money.
Protecting your own resources before offering them to others.
Digital Boundaries:
Limiting time spent online or on social media.
Not feeling pressured to reply to messages immediately.
Boundaries are basically a way of saying, “I respect myself, and I need you to respect me too.” When you set clear boundaries, you stop feeling drained, taken advantage of, or stretched too thin. Without boundaries, you might feel resentful or overwhelmed because you're giving too much of yourself ( and receiving too little ). Setting limits to things helps you protect your peace, your time, and your emotional well-being.
And here’s the thing: Boundaries are good for your relationships, too. They help the people in your life understand what you need and what’s important to you. When you’re clear about your limits, you’ll end up with healthier, more respectful connections.
Respecting Other People’s Boundaries
Just like we need to set boundaries, it’s important to respect other people’s too. When someone sets a limit, don’t take it personally. Boundaries aren’t about shutting people out—they’re about creating healthier, more balanced relationships. So, if someone says they need space or time, trust that they’re doing what’s best for them.
How to Set Boundaries
Figure Out What You Need: Before you can set boundaries, you’ve got to understand where your limits are. Think about what makes you uncomfortable or stressed. When do you feel drained or pushed too far? Those are your starting points for setting boundaries.
Be Honest and Direct: You don’t need to apologize or over-explain. Just be clear and straightforward when communicating your boundaries. For example, saying, “I need time to myself tonight,” or “I’m not comfortable with that,” is enough.
Stick to Your Boundaries: Once you set a boundary, it’s important to hold firm. If you’re inconsistent, people might push those boundaries, thinking it’s not a big deal. So, stay strong, even if it feels awkward at first.
Expect Some Pushback: Not everyone will immediately respect your boundaries, especially if they’re used to you always saying “yes.” It’s okay to get some resistance—just remind yourself why you set the boundary in the first place.
Check In With Yourself: Boundaries can change over time. Maybe what worked for you a year ago doesn’t feel right now. Make sure you’re regularly checking in with yourself and adjusting boundaries when needed.
At the end of the day, boundaries are about taking care of yourself. They’re about recognizing that your time, energy, and emotions are valuable. Setting boundaries can feel uncomfortable at first, especially if you’re used to being a people pleaser, but it’s one of the best ways to protect your well-being and build stronger, more respectful relationships.
The more you practice setting boundaries, the more natural it becomes. You’ll find that they’re not barriers; they’re bridges to much healthier, happier connections and a better sense of balance in your life.

Reality check to escape slumpness ASAP
╭☞ Being lazy is only for privileged people
Being lazy often goes hand in hand with having some advantages in life. Imagine someone who's well off, maybe they've got a comfortable job, some money saved up, and maybe even people to help with chores. They can afford to kick back, binge watch shows, or take long naps because they have the means to do so. On the other hand, people who aren't as privileged might not have that luxury. They might have to hustle more, have multiple jobs, or handle all their responsibilities on their own because they can't rely on others or have safety nets. If you find yourself being lazy when you have the means and opportunities to do better, you are wasting your potential. Life rewards effort, determination, and hard work. So, stop making excuses and get up! Success doesn't come to those who lounge around; it comes to those who hustle, grind, and strive for their goals. So, get out there, work hard, and make something of yourself! (ofc none of this applies to depression tho always take care of urself & its ok to have off days)
╭☞ Time can’t be regained
Lost time is the ultimate thief, and it won't ever give back what it's stolen. Once those hours, days, or years slip through your fingers, they're gone for good. There's no magic rewind button in life. So, let that reality hit you like a wake-up call. Every moment you waste is a moment you can never get back. Regret won't change a thing. It's a harsh truth that should jolt you into action. Now, instead of dwelling on the past, use this harsh reality as a fire under your feet. Don't let another second slip away. Harness the urgency of time's irreversibility. Channel it into relentless, focused, and determined action. Make the most of what's left, because that's all you've got. Time waits for no one, so seize it before it steals even more.
╭☞ People will always advance
Life's a relentless race, and it couldn't care less if you're lagging behind. While you're hesitating or procrastinating, others are charging forward, leaving you in the dust. That's the harsh reality. Imagine this: You're standing still on a moving walkway, and it's going one way, forward. If you don't step up and walk with it, you'll get left behind while the world keeps moving. Opportunities won't wait. Dreams won't pause. People who take action, who hustle, who grind, they're the ones who make progress. They'll climb the ladder, achieve their goals, and live their dreams while you watch from the sidelines. So, don't expect life to hand you success on a silver platter. It won it. If you want to get ahead, you've got to hustle harder than you ever thought possible. Start now, or be prepared to watch others thrive while you're stuck in the shadows. The choice is yours.
╭☞ Failure is ur biggest power
Failure is the harshest teacher life has to offer. It's the punch in the gut, the slap in the face, and the reality check you need to grow stronger. When you fail, you are forced to confront your weaknesses, your mistakes, and your limitations. It's like getting thrown into the fiery forge of self-improvement. The pain and humiliation of failure become the fuel for your transformation. Success may look glamorous, but it rarely teaches you as much as failure does. It toughens your skin, hardens your resolve, and sharpens your skills. It separates the weak from the strong, the quitters from the warriors. So, don't fear failure; embrace it. Make it your ally, your motivator, and your secret weapon. Learn from it, adapt, and keep pushing forward. Failure isn't the end; it's the beginning of your journey to greatness. Turn it into your superpower, and watch yourself rise above the rest.
Love,
Medea

Hi! This question is for Anastasia (?).
I'm already semi fluent in Portugese, as it is my home language. Will it still be okay for me to learn another language though I am not truly fluent in Portugese?
Thank you
Hey! It’s Anastasia!
So glad you asked! Honestly, I think it’ll be fine. Hebrew is my home language and I’m still learning how to use it properly.
When I was a kid, I was learning Hebrew at Sunday school but at home I was learning Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi. In school, I was learning French. What I’m trying to say is that… you’ll be fine!
I believe in you!!
Thanks for the question!
Love,
Anastasia
