Random Kakashi post #2,435 as I am determined to finish my very first Naruto re-watch one day.

Watching Kakashi's Anbu arc and it dawned on me that (in the anime, as it's not in the manga) Kakashi never really had any idea about why he was kicked out of Anbu (!!). I don't know why that blows my mind. And it's not like Guy, Kurenai, and Asuma could go to him and be like, "well, your friends were concerned for you and thought you were going off the deep end trying to kill yourself/die and we kinda sorta really care about you and love you and want you around, so we asked Lord Third/Dad if he could do a favor and kick you out." He was just told "your services are no longer needed" or something like that. And being the good little shinobi that he always is (/sarcasm), he just went on his merry way, very begrudgingly accepted it without question because, well, you don't question the Hokage - the 3rd knew he wouldn't ask questions or fight it - and became a sensei. I would just wonder how his friends felt keeping that secret, y'know. Like, yep, we went behind our bff's back and got him fired from his job, that he happens to be really good at, to keep him alive, but he can never know. That's the kind of secret that requires a pact, a sacrifice, and blood oath to never tell and changing the subject whenever anybody mentions Anbu. Just sayin'...

Springtime in Konoha!
