Funkycule fun fact #2884782: because penilians are hypercarnivores, they have evolved out of the ability to taste sweet things. Due to this, the penilian equivalent of candy is typically based on saltiness. Pringles are like candy to penilians

Every year since I turned 28 has been totally different from the last... But one thing that's consistent is that every year is worse than the last and my self esteem is constantly dropping. I don't even like seeing myself anymore. Every year someone says something about "omg this year is going by so faaast. January is just a few months awayyyy" and I realize I'm only a few months away from being a whole year older.
And then there's the people constantly making jokes about how "26 is basically expired in the desi community"... Meanwhile I'm sitting there like 🙂🙂🙂.
It's honestly exhausting.

Persistent Respiratory Symptoms: If you experience frequent sneezing, coughing, nasal congestion, or shortness of breath, an allergy test can pinpoint the triggers.
Skin Reactions: Hives, eczema, or unexplained rashes could be due to allergens.
Seasonal Changes: If your symptoms flare up during specific times of the year, you may have seasonal allergies.

Today's Doings
- take 2 hours to get out of bed. Not because of tired but because of ?? (unidentified string of neural impulse)
- start 5 things, finish one (did I even do all of them or did I imagine doing them? Could've sworn I finished doing the dishes but then got surprised finding the cheese grater in the sink. I put it there. But when)
- think of doing the one thing you had to do. Don't do it. Why? No idea.
- start another thing. Get bored after 3 minutes.
- Randomly decide to make cookies.
- realize you're missing ingredients.
- take a shower to go to the store.
- somehow the TV was still on.
- stand in the store, forgetting one of the two things you needed to buy. You think you forgot something so you disassociate in the veggie aisle for 2 minutes, coming to the conclusion that it mustn't have been important.
- Remember the thing you forgot when you're already at the checkout so you have to run back. Walk out of the store with five things.
- come home to realize the oven was on for the entire duration while you were out of the house.
I hate it when my brain has a day like this. I am a Sims controlled by a toddler. A robot on autopilot, but the autopilot was trained by AI and gets all the details wrong. A marionette strapped to a ceiling fan. What is happening? I don't know. I'm watching from 3rd person perspective and I don't understand it myself.

A Simple Tea for Easier Breathing and Lung Health
If you’re looking for a natural way to support your respiratory system, here’s a simple, powerful tea recipe I’ve created. This blend combines garlic, ginger, and lemon juice with hot water to help ease breathing, reduce inflammation, and promote lung health. Let’s dive into the health benefits of each ingredient and how they work together.
The Ingredients and Their Benefits
1. Garlic
Garlic is more than just a kitchen staple; it’s packed with allicin, a compound known for its strong antibacterial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. Studies suggest allicin may help reduce respiratory inflammation, ease congestion, and even enhance immune response. Including garlic in a daily diet may help maintain a clear respiratory tract, making breathing a little easier and lowering the risk of infections.
2. Ginger
Ginger has long been used to soothe respiratory issues and improve lung function. Its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects may reduce irritation in the airways, making breathing more comfortable. Additionally, ginger can help break down and clear mucus, which is particularly helpful for congestion. For anyone dealing with chronic lung conditions or seasonal respiratory issues, ginger offers natural support.
3. Lemon Juice
Rich in vitamin C, lemon juice provides an immunity boost and helps protect cells from damage. Lemon’s natural acidity can break down mucus and clear out the respiratory system, while its antibacterial properties may prevent harmful bacteria from settling in the lungs. Plus, the freshness of lemon juice complements the other ingredients, making this tea more refreshing.
How to Make the Tea
• Ingredients:
• 1 garlic clove, crushed
• 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
• 1 oz lemon juice
• Hot water
• Instructions: Combine all ingredients and let the tea steep for 10-15 minutes. Sip slowly to enjoy the full effects.
This tea is an easy and effective way to incorporate natural respiratory support into your day. Feel free to reach out with any questions, and let me know how this blend works for you!

Asthma Action Plans During the Shift from Summer to Monsoon 2023
Tumblr media
Introduction
Asthma, a chronic respiratory condition affecting millions worldwide, presents unique challenges during the transition from the scorching summer months to the wet and humid monsoon season.
As summer heat recedes and the rainy season sets in, weather-related triggers such as increased humidity, mold spores, and indoor allergens can exacerbate asthma symptoms, leading to breathing difficulties and respiratory distress.
To empower individuals living with asthma to effectively manage their condition during this critical period, the implementation of Asthma Action Plans becomes paramount.
Asthma is a complex and often unpredictable condition that causes inflammation and narrowing of the airways, making it difficult for affected individuals to breathe.
While some people experience mild symptoms, others may face more severe asthma exacerbations, leading to emergency medical attention and hospitalization.
The impact of asthma is particularly pronounced during seasonal transitions, as changes in weather and environmental conditions can trigger asthma attacks and worsen respiratory health.
The transition from summer to monsoon marks a significant change in climate and environmental factors.
During the summer, high pollen levels, air pollution, and outdoor allergens are common triggers for asthma symptoms.
However, as monsoon arrives, the rise in humidity and frequent rainfall can lead to the growth of molds and indoor allergens, posing new challenges for asthma patients.
The convergence of these factors necessitates the need for a comprehensive approach to asthma management, centered around personalized Asthma Action Plans.
Asthma Action Plans are individualized strategies designed to empower patients and their caregivers to take appropriate measures for asthma symptom control.
Developed in collaboration with healthcare professionals, these action plans serve as an essential roadmap for asthma management, outlining step-by-step instructions on medication use, trigger avoidance, and handling exacerbations.
By educating patients about their condition and potential triggers, Asthma Action Plans raise awareness and enable early intervention, reducing the risk of severe asthma attacks and emergency medical visits.
The advantage of Asthma Action Plans during the shift from summer to monsoon lies in their tailored approach to individual patients. Asthma is not a one-size-fits-all condition, and triggers can vary significantly from person to person.
By taking into account a patient’s medical history, asthma severity, and specific triggers, these action plans can be customized to suit the patient’s unique needs.
This personalized approach enhances the effectiveness of asthma management, allowing patients to navigate the seasonal changes with confidence and control.
Consistent medication adherence is crucial for long-term asthma control, and Asthma Action Plans provide clear guidelines on medication usage and dosage.
As seasonal transitions may tempt patients to modify their medication regimen or skip doses, these action plans serve as reminders of the importance of adherence to prescribed treatments.
By promoting medication compliance, Asthma Action Plans contribute to better disease management and overall health outcomes.
Furthermore, Asthma Action Plans emphasize the significance of managing environmental triggers, particularly during the shift from summer to monsoon.
Mold spores, dust mites, and indoor pollutants become prevalent during the rainy season, and these can significantly impact asthma symptoms.
The action plans offer practical guidance on reducing exposure to allergens, enabling patients to create a healthier indoor environment and minimizing the risk of asthma exacerbations.
