Do you have any good resources/references/advice for drawing (late republican) Roman clothing? I want to draw a couple of historical figures but thinking about drawing a toga makes me feel like 😖😖😖...

-build a screenshot reference library from movies and shows that have costume designs you like, that kind of thing. grab a blanket and wrap yourself up in it toga style and take a photo if you need a specific angle. etc. museums usually have a lot of their galleries online, and places like the met often shoot statues from multiple sides.

Okay, but in all seriously, I can imagine Cal being employed as a bouncer in Bad Weather while Desmond was working there. And they’d both try to pretend to not be Assassins. They gravitate towards one another because they could feel a sorta kindred spirit.

But they both would never talk about being Assassins, only being vague like “I left because my father chased me out of the house” and “my mother was killed and they never caught her killer” for Cal and Desmond’s jokingly saying he ran away from his cultists parents.

It’s a ‘sore’ subject that none of them really wished to talk about.

But they definitely grew close and whether they were in a relationship or if they were fuck buddies is up to you.

Cal is actually the one who left and Desmond never knew why.

(It was during this time that Cal actually killed someone and was arrested but no one knew that they should tell Desmond about it)

By the time Cal escaped Abstergo and managed to contact the Assassins, he learns of what happened to Desmond.

And well… Cal definitely wants more information, even if it means getting it from Abstergo.

(If you wanna add a bit of ‘history repeats itself’ deal with this one, Aguilar and Ezio also banged. Maybe once… or twice XD)

big news i've mused over now that finals are getting close to ending...! i'm considering putting out pre-orders for these protocreed charms and stickers after this week of finals as the artwork for alex is close to finishing, and along with that, an interest check for everyone to request more ac characters (altair, malik, ezio, leonardo, connor, aveline, edward, etc) so i know who to draw for the next batch of charms/stickers to produce!

finally, people have requested if i'd like to make more tron tamagotchi charms again (esp since it's been a year since i've last sold them), to which i say, sure, i'm open to reopening a 2024 pre-order run for tron tamagotchi charms as well! i can make an interest check asap to gauge what other tron characters you all would like (flynn, ram, clu 1, clu 2, yori, etc) aside from reruns of the 5 tron characters from last time; overall, thank you for everyone's patience and sticking around through these times...!

Templar!Reader being the next in line for Grand Master until they catch the unwanted attention from Assassin!141. Devout in your faith for the cause and centuries of your family being Grand Masters for the order you never knew anything else. And it paints the portrait that you are a target they need to snuff out before you gain anymore influence and power.

Mentor!Price has been to many countries, encountering many Templars before, yet Reader is just so-so--different. Price likes to think that his judgement has never led him wrong before so when he calls off your hit Gaz, Johnny, and Ghost don't exactly agree. They have to see for themselves which leads to you encountering them throughout your day. Not knowing that they are assassins of course. You only have ever run into those pesky Frye twins since arriving in London. Although by the end of it Gaz and Johnny are convinced you'd make a better assassin than templar. They want to convince you much to Ghost disagreement. Because despite staying his blade he still contemplates assassinating you anyways (Creed be damned) up until he realizes that not even he wants you dead.

Unfortunately this all ends up with you experiencing some world-view-changing trauma that ends in you taking a leap of faith from a building with a hidden blade strapped to your arm.

Bonus:

In the modern day, you find yourself being abducted by Abstergo and taken to their Madrid facility. There you encounter the 141 who, just like you, are carbon copies it would seem of their ancestors. They remember you or your ancestor rather. They want to protect you. They want you to fight back even more. You want to just go back to being normal, a civilian. Rikkin seems to believe that you'd do well as a Templar. But the 141? They're going to ensure you never fall into Templar hands again (while never admitting that they feared you becoming a templar as history tends to repeat itself though not always in the same way)
