I listen to a ton of audios, here are my favorites! There are more that I just can't remember off the top of my head.

This took me waaaay longer than I expected, sorry! I tried to give a mix of various types of ASMR: talking, no talking, personal attention, roleplay, indoors, outdoors, etc.

To those not familiar with ASMR, there's an entire world of it out there and I highly encourage anybody who struggles with insomnia or anxiety to look into it. Or even if it helps you to have sounds on while you're working or studying but find music a little too distracting. Just doing a general search on Youtube for ASMR will give you a start orrrr... you can check out my following recommendations. 😉 I find that some types of ASMR work for me and others don't and sometimes it's just a matter of what I'm in the mood for. So if you don't find something you like the first couple of times, try a few more and you might be surprised! 💖

In no particular order (and sorry I can't embed them)...

ASMR | stormy ocean night - ASMR_Divinity

I'm weirdly more fond of "that towel over the mic sounds like the ocean" more than I am of actual oceans sounds, I dunno why! I find this one super soothing, one of my all time favs!

ASMR Mic Scratching with 20 mics - Alexa ASMR

This is the mic scratching video to pretty much end all mic scratching videos (except she has more like this with even more mics but you get what I mean 😛😉). You get foam covers, bare mic AND fluffy cover, plus mics of all sizes with their own distinctive sounds. You listen to this with headphones/earbuds/etc and you will swear this is genuinely scratching your brain. Now, whether that's a good thing or not depends on how it feels to you, of course. For some reason, if I'm struggling with insomnia, this sort of "brain scratching" can often help.

Zzz 💜ASMR - KathyASMR

I didn't realize how much I'd like concrete scratching until I realized I used to do this when I was younger, though I didn't have such pretty rainbow fluorite to play with at the time, lol! Rainbow fluorite is one of my favorite gems/crystals/whatever category they fall under and so I loved the beautiful colors in addition to the sounds.

ASMR Brushing Your Pain Away - Whispering Gentleman ASMR

Pretty much any of his videos are really good for anxiety, IMO. He has a very calm, gentle manner, and strives to make every video feel like a safe place.

Harley Quinn takes care of you | You're Poison Ivy - ASMR Shanny

There are a lot of roleplay videos out there but Shanny really does a pretty perfect soft-spoken Harley, IMO. She keeps the character the entire time but also takes you through some classic ASMR trigger sounds at the same time. Just a fun, relaxing thing to watch when I'm trying to quiet my mind. 💖

Bonus:

A Dark Hero guards you while you sleep - Ambient Renders

An 8 hour long video of rain and soft city sounds with an atmospheric but lovely background and a special guest that periodically arrives to watch over you and the city. 😉 If "regular" rain sound videos feel a little too monotonous to you, one like this with city sounds might be more to your likening. Plus, I just love the Batman-inspired character who comes and hangs out on my balcony, what can I say? 😎💖

ASMR Video of the Week

This is definitely the coolest video I've seen in a while! Nick's ASMR is a new channel for me, but I've been enjoying it lately, he's got a really nice soft-speaking voice and cadence.

This video is a first, I've seen some flight-sim ASMR, but never from an actual pilot! So that was very cool so see the whole process of what goes into flying a little plane.

I'll have to admit, I haven't made it to the very end of this video, due to falling asleep, lol. So that's my best point in it's favor! There's also gorgeous scenery, since he's flying at sunset over the edge of the Appalachian mountains.

As you can tell from the thumbnail, he does film a good chunk of this from a camera on his head, so if you get motion sick like I do watching first-person video games and the like, this did kind of get me with the motion at some points. But, that's easily fixed by closing your eyes for a few minutes and just listening.

Cool to see what other types of creative videos like this we can keep getting, as more people are constantly getting into ASMR!

Since I've gained some followers here recently, may I be so bold and recommend Chronus Seven? Around the time I released it the algorithm was being really stingy with me.

It's a sci-fi mystery romance set in 2002, where your future husband finds himself transported to the past in his old body (with his original self still wandering around). You meet him as a charming stranger at a party who already seems to know just how to talk to you. Seeking someone to trust, he finds you not long before the day you were supposed to meet and proves that he came from the future. When it's revealed that his presence is the result of an accident by a band of time travellers known as Chronus Seven trying to stop a cataclysmic nuclear war in 2047, you are pulled into an adventure to help the time travellers regain their ability to travel through time, as well as return your future husband to your future self.

If you've already seen it, please share! This is my most under-rated series by far and I think it deserves some recognition. It has romance, action, deep mystery, bittersweet angst, and a little dash of horror.

M4M asmr recommendations!

It has come to my attention that m4m enjoyers are in a constant state of drought because 1. Not enough people are making them and 2. Most of them are either 18+ NSFW or just plain terrible so I'm going to be going through all the (I'm my opinion) worth while M4M asmr audio series.

Part one: Angels&Bread asmr!

This criminaliy underrated gem of a channel is responsible for the series "the dark prince" its starts of as a classic click bait-y drama but then only a few audios in we get mass amounts of LORE Im gonna avoid spoiler but essentially. If you like emo boys that actually have hearts of gold, sibling rivalry turned cutest brotherly bond ever, non binary old people and mythology I recommend this to you! Also if you like heven officials blessing you'll LOVE this

Main characters we got!

Samuel, the love interest (the dark looking one)

And Michael, his brother (the white one)

The custodian! Aka old as f*k non binary representation! They are the parental figure of the brothers and resident bad ass

Ilyan! The listeners best friend and Michael's boyfriend. He is a sweetheart

Now as for the listener! He is referred to as "the boy" by everyone who isn't Samuel who calls him "my sweet boy" so yall trans mascs come get your dopamine! He is (without spoilers) a sweetheart who really f*king likes flower crowns (there's more to it I promise just go watch it)

Angles and bread basically only dose m4a/m4m

Channel Rec: LauraLemurex ASMR

A long-time favorite here, especially for her candle shop roleplays, which I think are all collected here in this playlist (latest of course shown above). She also does a lot of other soft-spoken shop-keeper type roleplays, such as bath and body works personal shopper, or candy store proprietor, which are another couple of my favorite series from her. The crinkles in the candy/snack shop roleplays are absolute perfection!

In addition to the above, she also has plenty of close-whispers, trigger assortments, and more "standard" ASMR fare like the old cranial nerve exams. These are less my vibe, so don't tend to watch as many, but if you're into that sort of thing she is quite good at the close whispering especially.

She's also quite prolific; looking through her video list it seems like she's getting out a 30-60 minute video about once a week, and she's been doing it for years so there's quite a backlog for new viewers to enjoy!
