The first time Sonic went Super in Road Trip wasn't exactly as stunning to Tails as other au's and stories.

Tails is like maybe 5 here (I'm not actually that organized on the timeline for this au yet, I'm getting there though, things are getting in order.) and he wasn't forced to grow up and be a hero in this au. So he's a bit more childish than canon Tails because he doesn't feel as pressured to mature and grow up fast. Plus, he genuinely thinks Sonic is going to die and this is the last time he see's him, so tears are bound to come down.

People...Stop telling me to ship wade/logan, so it fits the narrative you want me to draw.

You don't like nathan/wade? Well, too bad because I do. And I ship logan with scott, so picturing logan and wade romantically together feels terrible off to me haha!

I love my ships dearly and I hate when people force me to love new ships so they can hope to see my fanarts of them.

Shipping is personnal, it is something that need to come naturally to me and not all popular ships are a hit for me. I don't want anyone to force me enjoying something. That is not how I enjoy my fandom time. Forcing online strangers to like the same things as you is so childish.

I Adore your It Never Happens AU. And I have a question. How does Nille and Bon join the party? Like I get that Loop wants the party back together but like does Loop go “hey kid, do you want to go on adventure” and Bonnie is like “not without my sister” and drags Nille along before she realizes what’s happening?

Yeah, that's the tldr of how it goes.

Expanding on it a little, as Loop and King are heading to Cobeaux, they pass by Bambouche. Loop convinces King to spend the some time in town (do some shopping, clean him up a little, actually get a map of the area and such), and of course they bump into the siblings; Nille works at the docks, doing basic repair work and hauling cargo. Bonnie just hangs around the market looking for new ingredients to cook with that won't cost them an arm and a leg.

After emotionally recovering from the horror of Not Being Recognized, Loop argues that having some extra pairs of hand on the adventure would be wise (plus, the must be someone heading the same way as us?), and King agrees to look for some help. Loop instantly turns and goes to talk to Bonnie, and they hit it off very well. Corbeaux (headcannons here) seems to be a very influential city, with heavy investment on research and academia. Bonnie just wants a change of scenery and hey, maybe Nille can get a nicer job too!

Of course, Bonnie runs off to go tell their sister about this Really cool person with a glowing head and this other guy with cool armor and they are going on an adventure and they asked if we wanna go so we should go- and, of course, Nille is suspicious. Sounds too good to be true. So, after her work is done, she packs up her stuff, gets out her trusty Tube of Death and goes out to meet these strangers.

First impressions, she doesn't like Loop's vibes. They feel weird in all the wrong ways. But when Bonnie runs up after her, she sees them visibly soften, so they can't be all that bad. King, on the other hand, she trusts very quickly. She can read him like a book, so she's confident he means well. Plus, Bonnie's right. She would really like a new job, preferably one where she can actually use her creativity instead of her muscles all day. So, still a bit weary, she agrees to go with them.

As expected, shenanigans ensue.

actually can we talk about how truly doomed by the narrative Jayce and Viktor are?

Jayce would’ve died in that snowstorm as a child had the mage (who we later learn IS Viktor through some time and space foolery) not intervened. He later would’ve killed himself had main timeline Viktor not intervened. Viktor ALSO would’ve later killed himself had Jayce not intervened.

Viktor was in fact supposed to die in the explosion, he said it himself. We see a split second frame where his spine is snapped in half, he was DEAD dead and Jayce resurrected him, only to later kill him, which is THEE big trigger event for Viktor fully becoming Herald.

in every universe where Herald Viktor exists, he turns the entire world into those robot things, Jayce included. Even when Herald Viktor survives indefinitely/reaches immortality after this, he’s alone. We’re TOLD this is not a nice solitude thing, he eventually ends up miserable about it.

hell, even in the alternate reality Ekko goes to we don’t see Jayce because the events of the main timeline don’t play out the same; he very likely did go through with killing himself. Vi died in the explosion, so Jayce would’ve stood even LESS of a chance in his trial, and honestly? Viktor prob wouldn’t have intervened here, it’s makes the arcane look even riskier and that’s a dead child from Zaun. We don’t even SEE Viktor here because hextech doesn’t exist, he never would’ve created the hexcore/a method of healing himself to the same degree and likely died to his illness by this point

the main timeline/ending we got? They die together. That’s it. All of that back and forth of the two of them dodging death, often at the hands of one saving the other, and the only ending they could’ve gotten that doesn’t doom everyone else is one where they’re both gone. No matter how the events of Arcane played out, Jayce and Viktor were always going to die, one way or another.

this makes the ending we got the ‘happiest’ ending for them btw. they chose to be together for it, while in any other option they would’ve been alone.

Honestly my personal Shadowzel head canon is that shadowheart is uming and arring about catching strong feelings in a friend with benefits weird situationship because lae'zel doesn't seem to want more, while lae'zel is convinced she is with the love of her life.

This is mostly on Shadowheart for not bothering to work at a cultural barrier but it's also a little on Lae'zel who refuses to use any terms of endearment that aren't in Githyanki, a language she mostly switches to in order to insult people.

I do!!! It's actually a lot less depressing than you think!

I imagine that Anya grew up in an average happy family, well average for whatever lower middle class family is in a world we can assume exist in a place where late stage capitalism won. I'll try to keep this in line with how I describe Curly and Jimmy's backstories but she had a family that tried to uplift her when it matter. They paid attention to what she cared about and made sure they knew she cared. I believe they couldn't support her in school due to her path and the modern expenses but they encouraged her and her every choice. She didn't have parties but she got gifts to help her express and explore herself.

Life was something I think Anya handled well. She was not the top student but she was a good student. She managed her job and school as well as she could and took the PE job so she could go back. She had nothing saved up but she planned in accordance, hence her concern about the baby. She had a good circle of people, maybe not someone who ever got her, but people that heard her out and understood enough to where she always got herself. She had partners and thought about futures but always thought about hers specifically first, not selfishly, but truly asking if they were facing the same directions.

She was always in her own head, not in a bad way though. She was always thinking about what she could do. I think she just liked knowing she could. I think she became a nurse because she wanted to give people choice in the same way she understood it. Doctors just fix a problem but nurses walk you through it, I think Anya

I genuinely believe that because she lived thinking of all the choices she had and all the ways she could overcome things, the fact that she was trapped on board with so little escape and choices, while not being heard or understood really just put the pin in her final acts of agency.
