Charade: (to Prince) "DIOS MEOW! You are the most PRECIOUS little guy, aren't you! AAAAA!!! Okay, okay--I gotta know! What do you think about evolving some day? What about if you had as many choices for evolution that your Umbreon friend did?"

Prince: "Heheh. I'm just messin' with ya. But yeah! Evolving is actually really important with my family. It's almost, like, expected that you'll evolve one day. The sooner the better, too. For example-!"

Prince: "I think if I had to choose, though, I'd wanna be a Leafeon!"

Prince giggles and beams a smile brightly at Charade. The idea seems exciting to him. Maria, however, shifts a bit to speak closer with the Meowscarada. She whispers softly, but Prince is still close enough to participate in the conversation.

“It is... a complicated situation. The expectation is always present, but all of the cousins admire the older family members. They want to evolve and be like those in the generations before them, but... There is not really a choice being made in the matter."

Prince: “It's fine, though. I think I'll get to decide if I wanna evolve eventually. Being bigger one day would be better... What about you, though? How did you come to evolve? Were you as cute as *me* before? Heehee!”

Charade: “Hello, little merchant! You knooow~ if you want to hold a fundraiser, you should try cookies! Just go around, ask your family when you see them next holiday, ask your friends—especially the mint ones? They’ll LOVE that! …Okay, okay. But while I’m here, let me see what you got!”

The cat dips her arm and bows, extending a paw before the Gimmighoul; with a small flourish, in her previously empty palm, she flashes a shining gold coin.

"Wh- How did you do that?! I wanna make coins outta air! Tell me, tell me!"

Hestau stares intently at the coin in Charade's hand, tilting his head as it tries to figure out where the coin came from. They keep trying to figure out the trick, with no success, as they continue.

"Cookies, huh? People have those when they're picnicking sometimes, should be easy enough to get... I don't have family or friends to sell them to though. S'always just been me, my coin, and my chest for as long as I can remember."

Hest finally gives up trying to solve the magic trick, but keeps its eyes on the coin.

"I'm sure if those people would like it, people that come by to buy things would too though! Speaking of, see anythin' you want?"

The chest has grown steadily emptier, though there was still a fair few items visible inside. Among these were empty cans, berries, two sticks, strangely patterned rocks and metal scrap, a fire stone, and a dented thermos.

Toshi: A cafe, you say? Sure! Why not?

As for my fur, Thank you! My fur is natural, but it did not used to be dull white. My fur used to be golden in colour, but it started turning dull white since I was 70 and I around 120 is when I became fully dull white.

You should have seen me when I was still young, well, RELATIVELY young, you would have been mesmerized by my golden fur and it glistens in sunlight too!

Toshi: Ah, well, about battling, it kind of IS my job to battle. I work as an elite unit and our job is to stop powerful criminals or to scout dangerous lands. There are scouts who do not battle unless they are ordered to, but I am an all rounder and battling criminals is part of my activity and being an elite unit means the criminals you battle are the top tier ones.

I am quite literally a war machine, made in part to apprehend or execute those who disobey the law. Sorry if that is a bit much to hear, I know some people do not really like me because of my job and I am fine with that.

I am a bit too old now so I usually just sleep through the entire free time I have instead of doing a hobbie, maybe I do work a bit too much.

I hope your free time is more interesting than mine, it is probably something cool, right?

Charade: “I don’t battle anymore, but I still want to put on shows the way I did back then. I’ve been practicing my singing and Jack’s been teaching me dance! One day I want to feel confident enough to perform in front of people.”

Charade: “There’s also a café in my town called Aroma Veil where me and my friends like to hang out. It’s a very relaxing place, so if you want, I’d love to take you sometime!”

Hi there! Around 2018, I came across yours and Lisosa's artwork and instantly fell in love with it! You inspired me to develop and work on my own style. But for a while I lost interest because of work and college-related issues. I wanted to check in with you guys today and learned that you two have been going through some difficult times. I wanted to let you know that you two are a great inspiration to me and that I, along with many others, will always be here to support and enjoy any art you create. Thank you so much for everything you do and I hope everything turns out well for you guys!

It has been some time since this message, but thank you so much! I made Lisosa read this too, I show her everytime when I get a message asking about her, because she is still so scared about online experiences she doesn't want open a web page alone.

Almost every couple of days we have a panic attac like this:

Actually she does draw, she still draw wonderful things (mostly our D&D characters right now because we play with our best friends and this make us both feel better), then I say "You should let people see this, it's so cute!", she says "nooooooo it's not that good I'm not that good tell everyone I'm dead" and then we're both sad.

One day things will be better, I'm sure... life is made of up and downs and we live in an extremely problematic time for everyone.

regarding the meowscarada thing, i absolutely think it needs something more too and honestly i feel like that might be a big tail?? at least for me? like two tails that are split like coattails maybe. its just been in my head since seeing that ask

A big tail COULD be cool, id love a future gen to have some big fluffy snow leopard for one of the starters. However im pretty sure the line is meant to be a Lynx which is why they have that lil puffball tail

Essie: "Hi! Don't mind Indie, he's very artistic, right? He drew a Darkrai because we have one in Aeos. He's pretty friendly, even if he's lookin' terrifying."

Indigo: "You're...beautiful..."

Essie: "There goes a compliment. Anyways, can ya tell us more about Darkrais in your universe?"

"Most of our kind prefers deep underwater caves. I don't know how it is with land darkrai in every other universe, but we prefer to live in pods. It can get lonely, especially if you're treated differently for your abilities. The ocean, and the Dreamscape, is so big. So we support each other. Having eggs can be especially dangerous alone, so we support each other in that way too.

I personally can enjoy open water at times- I traveled through it a lot more in my younger years, but many rais I know will steer clear of it. It's safer to be close to the ocean floor, or some kind of structure. There isn't easy access to our shadows if we're in open water.

Sometimes an egg or fry can take on a fairy typing if they're exposed to energy from both darkrai and cresselia. A combination of both negative and positive energy. But if they aren't born with it, they can still become a faerai before they grow up. It's not unusual to see faerai, like myself, living in pods of darkrai."

She paused and offered a kind smile.

"How about the darkrai from your universe? Have you met him before, or only heard of him?"

He is curious, are they, perhaps, a partners like Essie? Not necessarily in love, of course.

Shauna perked up as Indigo approached. She looked to his drawing, then at him; it took her a moment to realize it was a drawing of them.

She barely knew Valiant. She was still attached to the one she could not be with anymore.

The Goomy's pointy and stylish shades were thoroughly cracked; no doubt a result of her powers running amok again.
